Logan Duncan, resident Aussie of the Tuplar and the second mechanic on board. She primarily handles putting pieces of the ship back into place via welding equipment and helps Swansea with the larger maintenance projects. They also double as Daisuke’s second mentor, and is considerably more patient with him than Swansea is.

Okay, time for random spouting of backstory and headcanons because if I put everything together this post would be REAAAALLY long.

+ ex-convict, spent 15 years in prison after shooting her younger sister's abusive ex-boyfriend and was released five years early on good behavior from her original 20 year sentence. she only took the job at pony express because it was really hard to find other work and she needed the money.

+ doesn't take any shit and can be pretty intimidating when they want to be. they're usually pretty stoic and can come off as cold, but past that exterior they're sarcastic, playful, thoughtful and protective.

+ out of everyone on the ship she's the closest with anya and swansea. her and anya met on one of logan's first freighter hauls and found solidarity in each other for being the only women on the ship, their friendship growing deeper until it eventually blossomed into feelings that were pined over for a reaaaaallllly long time [lesbian sheep syndrome if you will]. she met swansea shortly after being hired and he acted as almost a mentor figure for her when she was kinda drifting around, and they play off of each other really well.

+ they think of daisuke more like a younger brother than a student, since he reminds them so much of their youngest brother back on earth. although his clumsiness is slightly annoying sometimes, they don't loose their patience with him as quickly as swansea does.

+ she's decently close with curly as they've done a few hauls together and he's generally pretty friendly, although his lack of boundaries did miff her a bit. but from day one she knew something was off about jimmy and merely tolerated him for the good of everyone else.

+ logan was actually the first one anya told about her assault and they immediately wanted to kick jimmy's ass, but chose to hold off until curly was informed so he could hopefully deal with it more diplomatically than they had in mind. but then curly does nothing and then the crash happens, which takes a massive blow to their trust and respect for curly.

+ post-crash, she's way more irritated than she normally is, constantly questioning jimmy's authority and flat out refusing to call him captain. she's ten times more protective of both anya and daisuke, still close with swansea, and tries to avoid being around curly as much as possible, but will interact with him and help with giving his painkillers to keep jimmy as far away from anya as possible. despite how incredibly stressed out she is, she refuses to drink the mouthwash because there's no way in hell she's stooping to that level, not when she still has people to look out for.

+ ultimately logan meets their end to dual gunshot wounds to their face and chest. after daisuke and anya's deaths, their final strand of sanity snaps like a twig. when jimmy goes to grab the gun from the medical bay, they grab the knife used for the cake off of the table in the lounge and charges after him. he shoots them in the chest first, fatally wounding them and making them collapse onto the med bay floor, knife clattering out of their hand. then, for good measure and for some kind of sick payback for them never having an ounce of respect for him, jimmy shoots them in the eye.

+ if she was in the game, logan would probably act as an antithesis to curly in jimmy's eyes, especially after the crash and during the hallucination scenes. while curly is there trying to bring jimmy up, logan is a constant reminder of how fucked-up he actually is, her blatant disrespect for him a phantom to him, always there and unforgiving. in the scenes towards the end of the game with the manifestations of daisuke, swansea, and the baby, logan's segment would be fairly similar to swansea's, having logan hunt jimmy down in a warped ship, the chase ending with her inevitably catching him but never being able to actually make him pay for all that he did.
