I took my baby boy to the vet today. He was born with FHV and I had rescued him back in 08 as a kitten. He was sick and underweight, estimated to be less than a couple weeks old. I fed him and nursed him through and he probably nursed me too! As I needed a friend at that time. Now, he has a nasty URI and a tumor started on his side. Biopsy showed cancer. Doc said he’s young enough and tough and the cancer could be removed and he would be able to live a lazy life! But with his URI, no surgery can be done. So we’re medicating him and nurturing him and I’m praying he can get some relief and then surgery. I don’t like watching him uncomfortable and I miss his crazy meows at all hours of night! His name is Modey. A combo of moo (found in a cow pasture) and moody ( cuz he’s funny crazy moody!
