Meghalaya Nursing Course Admission 2023: GNM and ANM Course

Meghalaya Nursing Course Admission 2023: The Director of Health Services (MI), Meghalaya, Shillong invites online applications for the 3-year course in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) and 2 years courses in Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM) session 2023-2024. Unmarried Male/Female candidates who are indigenous inhabitants or permanent residents of the State are eligible to apply subject to fulfillment of the following criteria. The last date for submission of the application is 15th June 2023. 1. Course Name:- Meghalaya GNM Course 2023 (Unmarried Male/Female) - Duration:- 3 years. - Age limit:- Minimum age for admission will be 17 years as of 31st December 2023. The upper age limit is 35 years and for candidates possessing an ANM certificate, there is no age bar. - Eligibility Criteria:- (i) 10+2 level examination with 40% aggregate marks from a recognized University/ Board. Candidates are also eligible from the State Open School recognized by the State government and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government. However, Science is preferable. (ii) 10+2 with English having 40% of Marks in Vocational Stream-Health Care Science from a recognized CBSE board/ State/ Centre. (iii) Registered Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) with 10+2 educational qualifications. (iv) Disabled Candidates – 3% disability reservation to be considered with a disability of locomotor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity after thoroughly examined and certified by the Medical & Health Officer. 2. Course Name:- Meghalaya ANM Course 2023 (Female Unmarried) - Duration:- 2 years. - Age limit:- 17 to 30 years as of 31st December 2023. - Eligibility Criteria:- The minimum educational qualification shall be 10+2 recognized by MBOSE/ CBSE/ ICSE/SSSCE/HSCE or a recognized equivalent examination. Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board. Meghalaya Nursing Course Admission 2023: GNM and ANM Course? Interested and eligible candidates will to get admission into the Meghalaya GNM/ANM course under the State quota may apply online through the Meghalaya Health Official website https://meghealth.gov.in. The last date is 15th June 2023 till 3:00 PM. Selection Procedure For Meghalaya GNM Course 2023 - Candidates are required to appear before the Screening Committee which will be held on the 10th & 11th of July, 2023 from 8:00 A.M – 5:00 P.M at the School of Nursing Civil Hospital, Shillong and Civil Hospital, Tura. The Applicant will also be medically examined at the same time. - The list of candidates eligible for Screening will be displayed in the Notice Board of the Directorate of Health Services (Ml) Shillong, GNM School of Nursing Civil Hospital Shillong, Office of the District Medical & Health Officer, Tura and Civil Hospital, Tura.
