CHAT I THINK I MIGHT'VE COME TO A REALIZATION

So in the beginning of MCSM s2, we learn early on in ep 1 about Jack, Vos, and Sammy. We learn they were a trio. (i swear this is relevant)

But we find out what happened to them: Sammy dies on their adventure in the Sea Temple, Vos gets trapped/stuck/left there (i believe??), and Jack is the only one who gets out alive but with regrets of going there, saying they should've never gone and blames himself.

But you know who ELSE faced a VERY similar fate??

THE ADMINS.

Romeo, Fred, and Xara were a trio.

What we learn about them is:

Fred died/was killed, Xara was taken/put away in the Sunshine Institute and is trapped and left there (until Jesse comes along), and Romeo is the one who lives and regrets what he's done (since, yknow... he did it)

Anyways my conclusion/what I'm trying to say is:

SAMMY VOS AND JACK'S TRIO WAS A FORESHADOWING/A NEARLY EXACT PARALLEL OF THE ADMINS' STORY AND WHAT HAPPENED TO THOSE THREE

Mcsm au idea

What if the prismarine gauntlet slowly spreads up Jesse's arm and threatens to cover him in prismarine entirely unless he explores the Sea Temple?

I'd imagine Romeo did this as a way to add another incentive to actually go to the temple, and that the gauntlet continues covering Jesse even during the fight against the Colossus and the whole way through Romeo's ice palace

Clarifying the “it wasn’t always that way” line from the theme I wrote: I’m thinking Sammi was still sick like in canon at the start of the AU, but when Lucia deems her worthy of the Ladybug Miraculous, she uses the Rooster Miraculous to give herself the power to heal Sammi.

You are right that she's still sick like in Canon and that she gets healed. However, she's not healed by Lucia. This is due to three reasons:

1. Lucia is not guarding the Rooster, that's being held by Soma

2. Also like in canon, she ends up getting held by RedHerring

3. She is not the one handing Sammi the miraculous

At least that's how I'm planning out the AU. That sounds like a good idea too tho

Wheatley strikes me as as Admin who, while remaining distant from most people, holds a soft spot for the beings they created. And I can absolutely see Wheatley watching over them like “I’m sorry little one” whenever something goes awry-

(Totally not still thinking about the one infodump on their relation to the adventure trio, nope…)

OKAY OKAY SO, YEAH PRETTY MUCH. Wheatley overall is very stoic, he embodies the 'distant unempathetic god' simply out a necessity. Romeo did not let Wheatley form emotional attachments to their creations, but regardless Wheatley still did and often felt heart broken watching their creations' lives get destroyed by events they could have easily prevented. This went ESPECIALLY for the adventure trio, Wheatley adored them, and they were especially proud of them as their creations. Watching Romeo's own temple kill two and leave one maimed for like absolutely gutted Wheatley, and sort of kickstarted Wheatley's distancing from the mortals. Romeo knew Wheatley loved them, and did everything in his power to destroy that, he wanted to make sure Wheatley wouldn't leave like the other admins and succeeded in that by taking away the one thing they loved. Vos, Sammy, and leaving Jack alive as a 'I was playing nice.' token. So, Wheatley ignored the mortals, they actively avoided being the admin they needed in their world and watched helplessly as Romeo allowed them to destroy themselves with the Wither Storm. Wheatley merely preserved Sammy and Vos within their terminal in hopes for a day Romeo would either allow them to recreate the thing they cared for, for Romeo's was extinguished.

They are very mentally ill, but they loved their people and wanted to protect them.

MCSM Season 2, but

Fred kills Xara and imprisons Romeo.

Fred wanted to make a perfect nation, one without troubles and sadness, only happiness and innocence. People should be obeying, clueless and feel joy.

Instead of Sunshine Institute it's a Moonlight Plains. Everyone is free to move around as much as they want as long as it's inside of plains.

No one is allowed to carry weapons, no fights, no sad faces. Smiling, smiling, smiling.

Everything he says — is true and they should obey.

Remember how Lukas called Soren's woolworld a "Happy land"? Well, it is a happy land.

Instead of trying to make Jesse his champion, Fred will try to make another "happy land", maybe even more perfect than the first one. He'll try to reason, saying how letting people decide everything for themselves is too dangerous for them, so they need a Leader, someone who'll tell them what to do and how to live.

And who will be a better leader, than The Hero himself?

But as soon as Jesse refuses, Fred laughs, saying it wasn't a question. He'll send Jesse under the bedrock, to Moonlight Plains in a special zone, where they "fix" those, who is lost. Meanwhile Fred will turn into Jesse, slowly turning people from Beacontown into brainless zombies who can't even decide what food they should have.

Beacontown becoms a closed place and the gang is worried, trying to reach out for "Jesse". As soon as Petra becomes too annoying, Fred sends her to the Plains as well.

There she meets Jesse and.. Vos, who is alive. They were planning the escape together. Vos, Sammy, Jack and Nurm were sent to the Plains a long time ago, but Jack and Sammy are both on a lower floors since they were "too aggresive, meanwhile Nurm was sent to work as a villager should.

Adventurer says their group got here even before the Admins Fight, so he knows for sure Romeo is their only chance to take Fred down. It's useless to try and ask for help people in Moonlight Plaids, since thye're too brainwashed, but there are small groups in whatever was left from Xara's and Romeo's towns, who Fred still didn't captured.

Plan is simple: get on lower floors, find Jack and Sammy, get out of this place, find Romeo with the help of other groups. Easy and smooth, considering no one is uses weapons here.

But unlike Romeo's physical challenges, this place is a psychological horror.

Will they escape without loosing their sanity? And just how longer Beacontown and others will be able to hold back from turning into brainless happy zombies?

I love subtle foreshadowing but it’s actually subtle foreshadowing…

There are so many great scenes with “Vos” that can be overlooked or just missed if your eye isn’t on him and I’d like to take a second to highlight some :]

He can’t help but smile when people mention how strong and powerful the Admin is or compliment his work. This also happens when Jesse agrees with Romeo or plays along. Sir why are you so giddy?? That god literally trapped you in a box for 30y.

The alternate is true if you choose dialogue being skeptical of Romeo or when characters aren’t impressed/ compare his builds to those of mortals. He looks so offended 💀

Less of a hint, but the way “Vos” sides with the Admin by requesting Radar and Lukas stay back; Romeo keeps reminding everyone that only the best of the best should be in his constructs. “Vos” mirrors this, albeit in a nicer way, by talking slightly around the subject as opposed to the Admin who just straight up tells people he doesn’t want “losers” there.

THIS SCENE IS SO FREAKING FUNNY I CAN’T. “VOS” IS SO DONE WITH JACK COMPARING HIS BUILDS TO PLACES HE’S BEEN BEFORE. “I don’t seem to remember that particular adventure.” BRO IS SEETHING. Stirpe and the writers have my eternal thanks for this interaction-

“Vos” being devious and not taking damage when everyone else is killed by spiders. I don’t care if you had the goofiest yelp ever you were NOT sneaky with that one-

P.S. Most of the main clues come after the Sea Temple. In my first playthrough, I brushed most of his overexcitement off as just being happy to be out of the cage and adventuring with Jack again. (Me when I’m in DENIAL.) When “Vos” suggests Radar and Lukas stay behind I really thought he was saying that because he didn’t want a repeat of Sammy. Maybe it’s the tone or the way he tries to talk around the subject, but ouch. that scene. “Fine. But if something happens to them, that’s on you, not me.” AUGH. It may just be the denial talking, but it really sounded like was worried. AND HE HAD EVERY RIGHT TO BE AFTER THE SEA TEMPLE. It would make all the sense for him to not want anyone less than a hardcore adventurer to enter the Ice Palace because all he knows of the Admin’s challenges are literally just a temple with a kill count. Don’t mind me going off topic. Anyways thanks for reading my ramble for tonight. I love subtle foreshadowing.
