Chef!AU Wooseok
Authorâs note: chef au seungyoun exists, so why not,, -Admin V đ»

Chef!AU Wooseok
Read Chef!AU Seungyoun here.
his face speaks model but his hands speak chef
a genius
won so many cooking awards since the age of 12 through the age of culinary school
if it was legal and safe enough to hold a knife before that he would have done it
Well-liked, well-admired, and graduated from a top culinary school with high honors and a stacked resume with fellowships and internships from all over the world
looks cold and intimidating in school, earned the nickname of ice prince by his schoolmates because they saw him in the freezer once and the reflection of his angled features on the glass door just sparks ethereal vibes
is an actual shy baby
Volunteers to teach at a local cooking school for children in his free time, goes around using baby-talk with little kids and giving them cool nicknames
âTeacher Wooseok is this how you flip the pan?â
âThatâs correct, Egg Warrior!â
speaks in small font on a daily basis but not many knows bc he doesn't usually have the chance to speak
people get scared when he just looks at them, and only his real friends would know how sassy he is
Jinhyuk: hey can u pass me the salt
Wooseok: no because sodium kills your heart and I need a friend when I'm 60
doesn't like being tied down and prefers to travel for his work
recently got invited to work at a famous restaurant and only accepted because he heard the rival restaurant across is manned by cho seungyoun: his competitor in school
doesn't know why he cares so much but he just really wants to beat seungyoun
Junho: hyung are you sure you're not like,,,,,, in love with him--
Wooseok: do you value your employment?
looks cool as heck in the kitchen though and can do five times the workload of a regular chef
seems bossy but actually cares a lot about his team
will never admit he has a soft spot for anyone
let the team go home early sometimes bc he's "feeling tired" and not because he may or may not have seen junho dropped a pot and bruised his left foot of course not
Super cute when he's in a good mood, or when heâs drunk, goes around giving everyone creampuffs he made at home
When heâs not around everyone just refers to him as Seokseok because heâs such a babie, but no one dares tell him that heâs still their boss letâs be real
Except one time Dongpyo messed up and accidentally called him Seokseokie in the middle of rush dinner hour
Everyone: sh*t.
But Wooseok just moved on like nothing was out of the ordinary, he found out about the name a while back but kept quiet since he actually liked it
Dongpyo: /escapes death yet again!!!
spaces out a lot so Eunsang always has eye drops with him in case wooseok's eyes get dried up
have fought people/customer on sight for bullying his kids, especially the pompous ones who always think their palate is oh so refined and dissed the dishes and compared them to famous chefs abroad
Wooseok: the chef youâre mentioning learned this technique from me what do you mean refined palate my butt im gonna wACK--
Hyeongjun, to the customer: please leave now if you value your life!!!!
not allowed to leave the kitchen, usually to the amount of times he gets mistaken for a handsome college part timer
Honestly, just imagine Wooseok in a fitted white chef button down.. his hair held back by these clips Hyeongjun put on for him... jawlines that can fillet a fish--
When he does leave the kitchen tho, gets hit on by young rich people and middle aged people alike
Has a fan page endorsed by customers and employees of the restaurant, one of the many reasons the many floors of the place is always packed with people
Sneaks out anyway bc he likes seeing the joy on people's faces as they enjoy their food
just a soft baby pls protect
[extend for x reader]
Youâre the other chef who volunteered at the little kidsâ cooking school
Well, itâs less of a school and more of a recreation centerâs cooking class, but Wooseok always refers to it as a school though b/c any sort of educational establishment is school to him
Youâre honestly just a culinary student looking for more experience, and teaching seems really fun, especially when your little brother was in class
Speaking of which, heâs earned a nickname from the handsome volunteer the other day and he couldnât stop saying it
âEgg Warrior! Thatâs me!!â
You: Wooseok we need to talk
Wooseok: ïŒïŒŸâïŒ?
You know he works at this really famous restaurant downtown, the one that may or may or may not have three dollar signs on yelp, but to you he just seems like a regular guy, unusually good-looking, but a regular guy nonetheless, and you didnât feel the need to treat him differently as you would anyone else
Wooseok really appreciates you for that
Heâs used to praises from everyone, but not a day goes by when he doesnât feel the awkwardness or uncomfortableness from people besides his staff
It was the same in school, and perhaps that was why he didnât make many friends
And why heâs so adamant about wanting to beat Seungyoun, he was one of the only friends Wooseok had in that battlefield of a kitchen at school
It didnât help that you reminded him so much of Seungyoun
Wooseok: so um,,, thereâs an event at my workplace today and um,,, do you wanna,,,
[ten years later]
You: yes? and?
Wooseok: do you wanna come with me i mean iâll be cooking for our guests but do you wanna um come,,, help me but if youâre busy thatâs fine foRGEt i asked iâll just--
You: sure
Wooseok: what
You: do we go after class or should I meet you somewhere?
Wooseok is jumping in his head but on the outside heâs like YEah we can go after class weâll just take my car no biggie
Tbh he talks about you so much at work everyone knows your name and favorite food and probably your birthday wooseok is limitless when it comes to crushing on you
Dongpyo when he finally takes you to meet his staff: omg finally
The event was a success, and you got to see him looking so c00l at work honestly what a man
Afterward he took you out for ice cream and dropped you off at home by 10
Your little brother the egg warrior: if youâre dating does that mean youâre the egg royalty?
Wooseok: maybe? (ăÂŽâïœ) are you?
You: Kim Wooseok youâre on thin ice

Searchandising: Site search hacks that drive revenue
Improving customer experience is top-of-mind for every digital business. Billions are spent each year on mobile apps, content, personalization and omnichannel capabilities. And hundreds of hours are spent on redesigning websites and conversion optimization.
Yet CX plans often overlook a fundamental piece of the equation: site search performance.
Visitors who search are explicitly telling you what they want and are more likely to convert than visitors who browse (50% higher according to an Econsultancy survey).
Todayâs best-of-breed search tools have come a long way from simple keyword matching, boasting varying degrees of autocorrection, semantic matching, machine learning and personalization.
But too often, merchandisers âset and forgetâ search, relying on their solutions to just work their voodoo. Rarely do merchandisers take advantage of the tuning capabilities theyâve paid for.
The result is site search behaving badly, or at least underachieving its potential. Leaving search on default settings may be efficient, but neglecting to check under the hood to ensure search shows the right products for your âmoney keywordsâ costs dollars and sense.
The scale of individual âpinhole leaksâ in your system can amount to significant lost revenue every year. The good news is you can identify and correct these leaks with a simple auditing process and site search tweaks.
Auditing site search
Step 1: consult your analytics
Pull out your search analytics, and set your date range to one year. Look for high volume searches with underperforming revenue and conversion rates, or high abandonment and refinement rates, and create a short-list of 10-30 âmoney keywordsâ to optimize.
Bonus tip: During this exercise, scan your reportâs top 100-500 keywords and jot down common abbreviations, misspellings and product attributes that appear. This intel can help you improve your search applicationâs thesaurus, and may identify helpful category and search filters.
Step 2: test your searches
Now the fun part â roll up your sleeves and play customer! Check for anything irrelevant or out of place. Wear your âbusiness hatâ as you do this, and look for opportunities to tune results to better match your merchandising strategy.
For every search you audit, note what needs to improve about the experience. For example, investigate why sunglasses are appearing in searches for âgrey jackets,â or why iPhone accessories outrank iPhone handsets.
Note what issues you need to correct for every search term you audit
Optimizing relevance with search logic
Many modern enterprise search applications and digital experience platforms provide merchandiser-friendly admin tools to adjust search logic, the business rules that inform the algorithm. If you donât have access to such business tooling, enlist a developerâs help to tune the back end (most search applications are built on Solr or Elasticsearch).
There are several levers you can pull to maximize search relevance for your âmoneyâ keywords:
Index factors
Just like Googleâs ranking factors, your site search algorithm calculates relevance based on index factors such as product title, category, product description, product specs (attributes), keyword tags and other metadata.
Adjusting index factors across the board, or for specific products or categories, can tune results in favor of your merchandising strategies, and improve relevance, click-through and sell-through.
For example, if you sell high ticket electronics and find accessories and lower ticket items are sneaking their way into top search positions, your engine may be weighting product name at 200% (which would boost accessoriesâ score), descriptions at 150%, specs at 100% and category relevance at 75%. You can improve results by reducing product name, description and spec weighting and boosting category relevance and price.
Boost-and-bury
Advanced engines may include additional index factors such as popularity (clicks, favorites and sales), product ratings, price, margin, date added, inventory count, semantic relevance and custom attributes (e.g. brand, genre, format or category).
Some product types benefit from a specific keyword or attribute boost or bury. For example, a search for âpatio furnitureâ should boost sets above individual items like patio chairs, and bury accessories such as cushions and covers.
Boosting patio sets within results for âpatio furnitureâ better matches customer intent than individual pieces, and can improve basket size and revenue
Bonus tip: Use your site searchâs autosuggestions (or a high-volume competitorâs) to identify terms to boost or bury, per keyword.
Synonyms
Modern search applications do a decent job of recognizing synonyms out of the box thanks to their robust dictionaries and thesauri. However, most ecommerce catalogs benefit from custom synonym mapping to handle colloquial terms and jargon, brand and product names that arenât standard dictionary terms, and their respective common misspellings. After all, one manâs âthumb driveâ is anotherâs âmemory stick,â and one womanâs âpumpsâ are anotherâs âheels.â
A usability study by Baymard Institute found 70% of ecommerce sites failed to map synonyms and only return results that match search terms as entered. Considering brands and manufacturers often describe the same things in different ways, this hurts recall and customer experience. It can also stifle sales for products that donât match the most frequent variants of popular product searches â the two-piece swimsuits in a world of bikinis.
And donât forget model numbers! Baymardâs research found only 16% of ecommerce sites do.
Fuzzy logic
Most search tools employ fuzzy logic to handle plurals, misspellings and other near-matches. This increases recall (number of results returned) for a given search, and often improves results, especially for misspellings.
For example, a search for âpyjamasâ would return matches for âpajamas.â Using stemming, a search including âflossâ could match âflossing,â âflosses,â âflosserâ and âflossers.â
However, fuzzy logic doesnât always improve results, particularly when fuzzy matching or stemming a product or brand keyword matches attributes of other products, or other product types altogether.
For search engines that use âorâ operators in their algorithms, results can appear when only one word in the query matches product information. For example, any search that includes âorangeâ (attribute) would return results for âOrange Bossâ (brand).
âOrâ operators match products to any keyword in a multi-keyword query
Understanding context and adding exclusion rules for specific searches tightens recall and maximizes the precision of your results.
For example:
plant, planted and planter salt, salts and salted blue and blues boot and booties belt and belted print, printer, and printing cook, Cook, cooker, cooking rock, rocker, rocking
Many of todayâs enhanced search platforms offer semantic matching, natural language processing and learning algorithms out-of-the-box. Some are intelligent enough to detect when a keyword is intended as a product, attribute or utility of the product (such as âfor older dogsâ). Nevertheless, even Cadillac tools can miss some important contextual variables specific to your catalog, customer and merchandising strategy. When auditing your top search terms, look for fuzzy product matches that should be excluded or buried.
Bonus Tip: Excluding stemming variantsâ-ingâ and â-erâ and â-edâ in general across all searches can tighten search results, optimizing for relevance and sell-through.
Showing fewer matches reduces the âparadox of choiceâ effect which can lead to slower decision making or even indecision. A tighter set also supports mobile shoppers who have a harder time browsing and comparing products within a list on a smaller screen, and who struggle with applying filters and facets.
Searchandising with slot rules
Slot rules tell your site search engine specifically how you want to populate your product grid for a specific search. For example, you may always want the first row to show your house brand for searches that donât include a specific brand. Or, to show only full price products in the first three positions, and flexibly rank the rest. (Not all site search tools support slot rules, but many enterprise solutions do).
Keywords that span multiple categories such as âjacketsâ (menâs, womenâs, boysâ and girlsâ) and thematic searches (e.g. âValentineâs gifts,â âwhite marble,â âLA Raidersâ or âsafety equipmentâ) benefit from slot rules that diversify results rather than front-load from a popular category. This helps your customer understand you carry a breadth of products and may help them refine their results, especially on mobile where fewer results are visible per screen.
Slot rules can diversify results to ensure results from certain categories arenât overrepresented in top positions
Bonus Tip: The most efficient way to leverage slot rules is to apply them to your category lists and apply search redirects for exact-match queries. If you uncover high-volume searches that donât have associated categories, create them! This helps customers who browse rather than search, supports guided selling and can boost SEO.
Search redirects to category landing pages can optimize the buying experience for exact-matched terms
Personalizing search
Search engines and DXPs (digital experience platforms) with machine learning capabilities are gaining popularity, promising to optimize relevance and performance with minimal effort from the business.
Semantic relevance returns product matches even when queried keywords donât appear in descriptions or metadata.
Natural language processing identifies search intent and context such as a navigational query (looking for a category) or searching by attribute or product function (e.g. âdry food for older dogsâ).
Aggregated behavioral data can match a visitor to past activity and look-alike customer segments, using predictive analytics to provide personalized recommendations.
Despite their intelligence, advanced tools suffer as much from set-and-forget implementation as their less sophisticated counterparts. Shipping with the most powerful searchandising controls, these platforms are designed for merchandising logic. But many users of these engines fail to leverage their capabilities, and never experience the full value of their technology. Why you still need to âsearchandizeâ your personalized search engine
Machine learning takes time to get good. Highly trafficked sites with relatively evergreen catalogs benefit most, while less trafficked sites with large catalogs (thus a long search tail) or higher catalog turnover may struggle to build reliable affinities between search queries and products.
Default settings create bias. Itâs well demonstrated that top search slots receive higher click-through, on average. When algorithms favor popularity metrics, the ârich get richerâ over time. Search satisfaction can dwindle as SKU variants such as sizes and colors sell out, and fresh, full-margin product may be buried under discounted stock.
Tools are agnostic to your merchandising strategies. With data and time, intelligent search tools can recognize buying trends, seasonality and more. But they still lack insight into when it trend forecasts, promotional calendars, anticipated shifts in demand and other variables. By the time they catch up, this context may be stale!
To ensure personalized search serves your business in real-time, leverage index weighting, boost-and-bury and slot rules the same way youâd tune non-personalized search.
Advanced personalization
DXPs that integrate with CRM and ERP systems allow you to shape merchandising logic for individual catalogs, geographics and customer segments. For example:
Boost new items and prestige brands for high-spending segments, or boost heavy puffer jackets to New Yorkers and bury them for Californians
Strongly boost SKUs and brands previously purchased to individual B2B accounts (even if ordered offline)
Strongly bury products that arenât available for international shipping to non-domestic visitors
Target should bury ânot available for intl shippingâ products for non-US shoppers
Donât reset-and-forget!
Search tuning shouldnât happen in a vacuum. Document your strategies every time thereâs an update to merchandising logic. An audit trail ensures other team members (and future members) know what was tuned and why, and can revisit strategies as data is collected and business strategies and objectives evolve.
Consider time-limited strategies. Certain searches will benefit from tuning around seasonality, promotional events and other variables. Site-wide adjustments may also be relevant. For example, boosting sale items December 26 through January 31 helps clear excess inventory and matches buyer expectations for traditional retail. Some tools allow you to set start and rollback dates for merchandising rules. If yours doesnât, ensure someoneâs assigned to revert changes at a designated time.
Should you A/B test your tuning strategies? Your enterprise search tool or DXP may natively support A/B testing. However, because split testing requires sufficient traffic to produce reliable results for each keyword, and sends half of your traffic to untuned results, itâs often unnecessary â especially when youâre closing an obvious experience or relevance gap.
Site search doesnât have to remain a black box. Make search tuning a regular part of your searchandising strategy to optimize your customer experience, built trust and loyalty, save lost sales and ensure search results are always in step with your ever-evolving business strategies.

How to Restart Keto
Last month, I gave a heads up about what Iâm calling the Keto Kickoffâa quick and comprehensive 7-day dive into the ketogenic diet, a pure distillation of the lessons contained in The Keto Reset Diet book. That starts next Monday (sign-up closes Sunday night 1/6/19), and it assumes, but does not require, an audience without any formal experience in the ketogenic diet.
What about a similar-but-different-enough populationâthose who have tried keto, stopped for any number of reasons, and want back on the wagon? Should those looking to restart keto do or know anything different?
First and foremost, the basics still apply. Anyone looking to restart keto should pay attention to all the stuff Iâve covered in previous posts and books and will be covering in the Keto Kickoff email series (so sign up today!). Going keto is going keto.
Whatâs the most important step someone trying to restart a ketogenic diet needs to follow before doing anything else? Identify why you fell off the wagon in the first place. Then address it.
Thatâs really what sets you apart from the average keto beginnerâyour preexisting hangups. If anything, youâll have a better physiological response to the ketogenic diet because your body retains knowledge. Some of that metabolic machinery is still there, still functioning, once you shake off the rust.
But you do need to figure out and overcome what tripped you up the first place.
People have dozens of potential reasons for quitting keto. I canât possibly cover them all, but I can address and offer solutions for the most common ones.
It Was Challenging Figuring Out How To Eat With Friends, Family, and Colleagues
The people who give this reason usually fall into one of two camps. Either theyâre too agreeable and give in to peer pressure (imagined or real) at the drop of a hat, making it impossible to get into any sort of keto rhythm; or theyâre too rigid, turning every social excursion with food into an epic battle of will that eventually breaks them. The former group needs to toughen up. The latter group needs to lighten up.
Avoid rigidity and timidity. Stand firm and be resolute in your convictions about what diet makes you feel best; donât be afraid to say ânoâ or order a salad with four meat patties when everyone else is getting pizza. In the vast majority of these cases the only one making you feel awkward is yourself. Most people donât care. And if they do care, itâs probably because theyâre intrigued and want to know more. Besides, going keto isnât such a foreign concept these days. You may even have secret compatriots present who are also restarting keto.
Stick it out for three or four weeks and then lighten up. Once youâve re-established your ketogenic metabolism and achieved metabolic flexibility, it wonât hurt (that much) to drift in and out on special occasions. You should be able to bounce back relatively quickly after a dalliance with carbs at happy hour, or Thanksgiving, or a birthday party. Just try to stick to healthy Primal sources of carbs to make the transition that much easier.
It Stopped Working
Sometimes keto stops working. An understandable reaction is to stop doing keto. Itâs not the ideal move, but it makes sense.
If youâre thinking about restarting keto after a hiatus, and the reason you stopped in the first place was that keto stopped working, you probably have some bad habits or misconceptions to overcome.
You ate too much fat. A common trajectory among keto dieters who plateau is that they overdo the fat. Early on in keto, anything you eat seems to promote weight loss. The extra fat in those early days even upregulates the fat-burning of your mitochondria, speeding up the keto adaptation process. Youâre eating more fat than you ever have before, and you only seem to be growing more powerful. Itâs a profound sensation. But as you keep eating more and more fat, you plateau. As you attempt your keto restart, remember that getting into ketosis is more about the carbs you donât eat than the fat you do. Calories donât stop counting on keto.
You ate too little protein. Protein absolutely can inhibit ketosis, but it takes more than you think. Ketosis is protein-sparing, but you still need to eat it. And some people can get away with far more protein than others and still remain firmly in ketosis. The oft-given blanket advice to âlimit proteinâ can really throw some people for a loop and lead to keto ânot working.â Too low a protein intake on keto can reduce performance in the gym, limit or even reverse muscle hypertrophy, increase appetite, and make it hard to construct a palatable meal. If that sounds like you, try eating a bit more protein when you do your keto restart.
It Felt Too Restrictive
Not to toot my own horn too much, but this is one of the main reasons why I developed the Primal Kitchen line. Having an arsenal of reliable, convenient, and most importantly healthy mayos, dressings, sauces, and marinades promotes dietary variability. You end up eating a wider range of meats, vegetables, and other keto-friendly foods when you can modify their taste and presentation by flipping open the top of a bottle of dressing or mixing in some mayo. Meal monotony is a deal breaker for many people on any diet, including keto.
It Was âToo Hardâ
Thatâs about as vague a complaint as you can get, but itâs very common. Going keto forces a totally new way of looking at your food, at your conception of energy, even your experience of the world. Your breath changes. Your grocery shopping routine changes. Three-quarters of the food at your favorite restaurant is suddenly off-limits. Then thereâs the salt, potassium, and other electrolytes to worry about.
If you found keto to be just too hard to get a handle on, youâre not alone. Sign up for the Keto Kickoff, refresh your knowledge of the basics (and see what you were overlooking, if anything), get daily support, and do your keto restart right.
You Just Drifted Away
Things snowball, donât they? You have a quarter of a donut at work because itâs just a quarter of a donut and itâs your favorite kind and itâs free. You get home and taste test the mac-and-cheese you made for your kids a few times, then finish their plate because, hey, it was only a couple more bites and refrigerated mac-and-cheese gets weird. Before you realize it, youâve eaten refined carbohydrates every single day, havenât lost a pound, and you canât rightfully call yourself keto.
Keto drift happens, and it demands a restart. To prevent it from happening again, remember why you wanted to go keto in the first place:
For the fat lossâŠ
For the improved energyâŠ
For the metabolic flexibilityâŠ
For the freedom from hungerâŠ
For the potential for a long, healthy, active lifeâŠ
When youâre ready to get serious, get moving.
It Never WorkedâŠAs I Tried It
This is rare, but not inconceivable. Occasionally, a diet doesnât work.
If keto truly doesnât work for you, no matter how faithfully or optimally you implement it, donât do it. Ketosis is still a good state to visit, so just be sure to implement some other method of entering ketosis even if youâre not going to restart the keto diet, whether itâs intermittent fasting, intense exercise (with precautions), caloric restriction, or simply not snacking all the time.
Do make sure you gave it a good three-week try, however, before concluding that âit doesnât work for me.â Thatâs the minimum amount of time you need to know if itâs a good fit. If you didnât give it three full and earnest weeks, sign up for the Keto Kickoff (opportunity for sign up closes January 6th!), and see what additional guidance and support can do for your process.
For those interested in beginning the new year with the Keto Reset Diet library of books, for a limited time all the original bonus giftsâebooks, audio, video and Primal Kitchen discount codesâfor each book (The Keto Reset Diet, The Keto Reset Cookbook, and the The Keto Reset Instant Pot Cookbook) are available with purchase again.
Thanks for reading today, everyone. Are you restarting keto? Trying it for the first time? Committing to another deep dive after a successful keto experience before? Iâd love to hear your stories, questions and tips for all who are taking up keto in the new year.

Israel seeks early re-tender of mining rights to shore up Dead Sea

EIN BOKEK, Israel (Reuters) â The Dead Sea is shrinking at the rate of approximately a meter a year, leaving behind abandoned beaches & sinkholes in a slow-motion environmental disaster.
The main culprit is the drying up of the Jordan river, its main tributary, as communities upstream draw on it for farming & drinking. But mineral extraction makes the crisis worse â of the 700-800 million cubic meters of water lost each year, 250-350 million cubic meters is due to mining, Israel estimates.
Up to now, the Israeli government has rarely intervened in the operations of the biggest extractor: the Dead Sea Works, previously state-owned & now operated under a 70-year concession by Israel Chemicals (ICL).
That is approximately to change.
Israel wants to re-tender the Dead Sea mining concession as much as eight years ahead of schedule, in 2022. It is motivated not only by environmental concerns yet in addition by worries ICL will hold off on new investments in the concessionâs final years.
The government believes ICL will agree to its proposal, first because the firm will have the right of first refusal yet in addition because it too has a powerful reason to scrap the current concession: an article that gives the government the rights to interfere in investments starting in 2020.
The plant is one of ICLâs core assets, producing potash that goes into fertilizers, bromine for flame retardants & other products sold for billions of dollars worldwide.
The company, controlled by billionaire Idan Oferâs Israel Corp, has not made its position clear. It declined to donate an instant comment on its stance when contacted by Reuters.
âThis is a one-time opportunity, as the concession comes to an end & we enter a new period, to set standards for the factoryâs operations & the environmental impact on the whole area,â said Galit Cohen, deputy director-general for policy & planning at the Environmental Protection Ministry.
Cohen was on the high-ranking inter-ministerial committee that produced a preliminary report in May with guidelines that aim to balance profits with environmental interests in the Dead Sea for the first time.
At the moment, ICL is largely free to do whatever it wants to maximize production, Cohen said, speaking to Reuters underneath a date tree on a northern beach at the lake.
âThey have no incentive to reduce the amount of water they pump or think approximately from where they obtain the soil to build their dikes,â she said.
The Dead Sea has been popular for millennia for health seekers & tourists who come to drift in its high-density waters & smear its mud on their skin. Without intervention, it will keep losing water, fundamental to the mineral extraction process, though experts believe it may eventually reach equilibrium at a much smaller size.
ICL said in a July 5 letter to the committee that its report raised âcomplicated legal, economic, operational & engineering issues, & ICL has meaningful reservations approximately part of what was said in itâ.
âThe company is studying the report & will relate to it as customary within the framework of the public hearing,â ICL said in a statement to Reuters.
A general view shows Dead Sea Works factory at the Dead Sea, Israel July 17, 2018. REUTERS/Amir Cohen
In its 2017 annual report, the company said its ability to refinance debt in the next decade â⊠depends, among other things, on extension of the concession beyond 2030.â
SETTING LIMITS

The factoryâs new license, whose term has not been set, will include pumping limits coupled with financial incentives to use less water, the committeeâs report said. The amount of territory open to quarrying & drilling for wells will be reduced.
Final recommendations due around September are not expected to differ materially from the interim reportâs, said a senior government official, who asked not to be identified given the sensitivity of the issue.
âWe think everyone has an interest in making the tender earlier,â the official said. âThe value of the asset gets lower as we obtain closer to the end of the concession period & itâs unclear what will happen after 2030.â
When the company was privatized in the 1990s, the government kept a âgolden shareâ that gave it some oversight, in addition to the obligation under the terms of the concession that the company seek its approval for any new investment.
Michael Vatine, an analyst with Halman-Aldubi Investment House, said ICL was likely to want to avoid a decade of close government scrutiny.
âI think the company understands it needs to clear the fog regarding the long-term ⊠& not leave its investors feeling uncertain,â he said.
With revenue of $5.4 billion in 2017, ICL manufactures a range of products from industrial chemicals to food additives. It is the worldâs sixth-largest producer of potash & supplies approximately a third of the worldâs bromine, used in fire retardants.
The company does not share publicly how much of its revenues come from the Dead Sea, where it in addition mines magnesium & salts.
Costs at the factory are lower than at conventional mines, which are often hundreds of meters deep. Solar evaporation is less energy intensive & the climate allows mountains of potash to be stored external & sold when prices are high.
According to their annual reports, ICL produced 3.7 million tonnes of potash at the Dead Sea in 2017 vs 2.1 million tonnes extracted by Arab Potash, which has exclusive rights on the Jordanian side that expire in 2058.
As ICL describes it, there is a virtually unlimited supply.
Bidders in a new tender would likely include the usual suspects from the small number of main potash producers, including Russiaâs Uralkali, Germanyâs K+S AG & Canadaâs Nutrien, the report said.
Committee chair Yoel Naveh said it was possible competitors would be scared off by ICLâs many advantages: not just right of first refusal yet in addition its deep knowledge of the project.
âThe state needs to set a price & below that not donate it to a private concessionaire,â he told parliament in June.
Slideshow (14 Images)
If the minimum failed to be met, the state should take over, he said. If someone else won, ICL would be compensated, he said, without naming a figure.

Jinbi Token Ico Review: A new horizon of wealth and security
About Jinbi Token
The Jinbi Token (JNB) merges a traditional gold investment holding with blockchain technology, giving the token holder the best of both worlds. Everyone knows gold and its history as a store of value and purchasing power. The Cryptocurrency market has adopted some of goldâs benefits with the creation of cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, a digital coin that can easily be transferred between peers anonymously within seconds. This is possible due to an existing decentralized blockchain technology platform. Jinbi has developed this concept further. The blockchain technology holds its primary advantages in securing transactions anonymously, fast, safely, traceable and transparently. Basic Information Token Name JNB Token Sale 10,000,000 JNB Social Media

Jinbi Token holders will benefit directly and share in the profitability from the production of Gold at the source. Jinbi will create liquidity events following production milestones whereby each coin holder will receive a dividend payable in physical gold, ethereum or bitcoin. All other funds are reinvested back into Jinbi to continue further Gold production. Not only will a coin holder benefit from biannual physical gold dividends but also participate in the appreciation of the underlying token, Jinbi backed by an audited and increasing gold floor. Fully tradeable and transferable Listed on a number of Cryptocurrency Exchanges Quarterly reported inner Gold Value i.e. a stable and increasing Gold Floor 150,000 ounces linked to a smart contract by 2019 Creation of biannual liquidity events via Gold dividends. Jinbi Tokens can be used to purchase monthly in-depth market commentary and analysis on all crypto and Gold developments. Secured Gold Storage paid for with tokens, secured within Jinbi accredited and associated vaults and discounted over time. Jinbi tokens are held in the most secure ethereum wallet, Pillar. Token A critical structural characteristic of the Jinbi Token is the re-introduction of fresh gold into the token ecosystem. This is done to provide an ever-rising lower boundary for the token value in the secondary market. Arbitrage traders would rationally buy Jinbi and sell gold should the token price fall below the inner gold value providing a floor price for the token. The value of a gold equity can be considered the sum of all its future cash flows, but a Jinbi token is rationally the sum of its future cash flows PLUS the inner gold value. Gold Refinery Produits Artistiques Metaux Precieux or PAMP, based in Ticino, Switzerland, is the worldâs leading bullion brand and one of the most trusted refiners and fabricators of precious metals. Kaloti Refinery, based in Dubai, UAE, is situated within the Free Trade Zone. Kaloti has a strong track record in the gold refinery business and is ideally situated for any African produced gold. Independent Auditor Bureau Veritas Inspectorate will carry out quarterly audit inspections on the quantity and quality of Gold stored in our associate vaults to ensure proper and correct accounting is upheld. They are the premier independent precious metals inspector in this space and have a well-deserved and long heritage dating back to 1828. Storage Vault Jinbi has a series of partnerships with custodian vaults. This network will develop along with gold produced and culminate in secured facilities owned by Jinbi. All Jinbi gold will be held in these vaults, adequately insured and documented permanently on the blockchain once approved by the quarterly audit inspectors, Bureau Veritas. Annual Audit In keeping not only with good governance but also with common sense, Jinbi will commission an independent annual audit from one of the five top-tier accounting firms. The Jinbi Token Annual Audit will occur every January Multi-Party Trust Mechanism All parties are independent of one another with specific roles within the chain of custody. Collusion between parties is therefore eliminated within the strong governance and auditing directives. This system culminates in proving asset quality, quantity, location and ownership that will be stored permanently on the decentralized blockchain, Ethereum. All parties have been chosen specifically because they are professional, established and for this reason, have an incentive to complete their contracted tasks accurately and independently of one another. No one provider will ever be responsible or tasked with providing more than one provision in the audit trail process. Key Storage All keys are stored in a subsystem called âKey Serverâ. A unique key identifier is generated before adding any new key to the Key Server. We use a Script cryptography algorithm, an approach that is considered best practice in preventing hacking attacks. A client-side combination of a password and unique salt is used to prove and verify with our server, that the requestor actually knows the password without the need to send it to us. To encrypt a userâs private key we use the AES-256-GCM algorithm and a userâs password as the encryption key. After this preparation, the key identifier and encrypted private key are uploaded to our Key Server. Using this approach, the sensitive data from users is never stored directly in our system, so even admins do not have access to it. To ensure that usersâ keys are further secured, the company uses 2-factor authentication by using Googleâs Authenticator (MFA) to retrieve encrypted keys from the storage. Top Beer Bars In Seattle
The first section of American Pie is the quest for perfection. The subtitle should be "my search for the perfect pizzaiolo (pizza master)," as Peter meets with a host of pizzaiolos who share ideas and philosophy about pizza. Make up your mind on what you think is the best when you sample the best pizzas that these chain restaurants have to offer. One of the better pizza chains, Pizza Hut has been in business for a long time because they know how to make a pizza. They have some of the best deals on pizzas and their thick, mouth-watering pan crust is some of the best crust in the business. If you're looking for a classic, good chain pizza than you can't really go wrong with Pizza Hut. In this article the admin of www.tastingtable.com has given info raffering Team Tasting Table about American Pie. Choosing the best pie in the great city of New York feels a little like putting a red, saucy target on our backs (and, yes, we welcome the feedback!), but we did what we had to do. In the end, it was Joe's on Carmine, the classic NYC establishment that's topped many a best-of list, and even counts Bobby Flay and Alex Guarnaschelli among its biggest fans. Established in in 1975 by an Italian immigrant from Napoli, this establishment has never stopped churning out the real deal: cheesy, pepperoni-laden goodness. While some newer pizza spots in the city may be doing more innovative things with their pies, nothing beats Joe's for a classic New York slice. Testing Table As far as health is concerned, pizza, after all, does have the once traditional "four main food groups": meat, dairy, vegetables, and breads. Healthy pizza, however, will have these ingredients in the right proportion, and also of high quality (organic, fresh, etc.). Whether you are making pizza at home, buying frozen pizza, or eating out, there are principles for healthy pizza that you should keep in mind. With the numerous recipes, you will be able to reproduce some of the most famous pizzas in the world. He adds his take on Pepe's (Wooster Street, New Haven, Connecticut), world famous clam, New York style, Chicago deep dish, focaccia as well as numerous others. He gives tips on grilling and even devotes some lessons on tossing" in the air. Everyone has heard New York City referred to as the city that never sleeps, but how about the city that always eats? You can find more restaurants in New York City than anywhere else. NYC has a street devoted just to restaurants. You can find all types of cuisine throughout different neighborhoods and eat at world-renowned establishments. In this following article the admin of www.bonappetit.com has described about This Is the Best Pizza in America (Yep, We Said It). I met Joe Beddia in 2008, when he was pouring beer at the South Philadelphia Tap Room. He was already a pizza nerd, throwing around terms like cornicione, Italian for the lip of a pizza, and referring to the underside of a pie as the âundercarriage.â So itâs not a complete surprise that, seven years later, I find myself watching Beddia make dough. Itâs 9 a.m., and he is in his happy place. Howard Stern is on the radio (Beddia doesnât just listen to Stern, he actually calls in to the show) while Beddia does what he loves: combining organic flour, yeast, water, extra-virgin olive oil, sea salt, and sugar. Thirty-six hours from now, this dough will provide the foundation for the best pizza in America. Bon Appetit Perhaps the greatest factor in the calorie count of pizza is whether you will have cheese or not. A cheeseless pizza is almost by definition a healthy pizza. Each ounce of mozzarella, for instance, contains 80 calories, 5-6 grams of fat, and 25mg of cholesterol. No-cheese pizzas may seem strange in North America, but in fact the original Italian pizza, the Marinara was made without cheese, just crushed tomato sauce, garlic, oregano, and a thin crust, baked in a wood-burning oven. If you go to an authentic Italian pizzeria, you can order one to try for yourself. (Using high-quality ingredients makes all the difference in these pizzas.) Many pizza experts consider this their favourite pizza, and the European Union has officially recognised the Marinara pizza as a European Traditional Food Product (TFP). Learn more about beer bars Seattle . Whole wheat pizza crusts are available from many fast-food pizza outlets. Using whole wheat pizza crusts alone increases the fibre content of your pizza by about 50%. In addition, there are many interesting variations which are gluten-free, have no refined carbohydrates, and incredibly fibre-rich. These are not usually found in restaurants (except for specialty health-food and vegan ones), but can be made fairly easily at home. Some vegan cookbooks, for instance, have very interesting pizza crusts made from seeds, legumes, and vegetables. These make for super-healthy pizzas, particularly suited for athletic types. So, although the run-of-the-mill fast-food pizza is almost a definite no-no for health conscious individuals, healthy pizza can definitely form a mouth-watering part of a good diet plan. The admin of www.village-bakery.com provided info on How to Set Apart the Best Pizzas From the Merely Pretentious Ones. A frozen pizza is so easy to prepare, it costs little, and you can feed the whole family with a single one, but how do you choose the best frozen pizza from the wide selection in your supermarket? Though frozen pizzas look great in the picture, they often look different once baked, and many times they seem so small by comparison with the box. But there are ways to set apart the best pizzas from the merely pretentious ones. Village Bakery For more info watch the video on 10 Best Pizza Stones 2017

Dietary Guidelines to Treat and Prevent Atherosclerosis
what is Atherosclerosis
Atherosclerosis, clinically defined as hardening of the arteries, is an early form of heart disease in which plaque builds up inside the arteries and limits blood flow to major organs, including the heart, brain, and kidneys, and to the pelvis, spine, arms, legs, fingers, and toes. This can cause heart failure, stroke and aneurisms, chronic kidney disease, back pain, erectile dysfunction, and peripheral artery disease.
The Dietary Guidelines for AtherosclerosisÂ
1. Â Â Choose plant-based foods: vegetables, beans, whole grains, and fruit.
The average adult at risk for cardiovascular disease who adopts plant-based diet, coupled with weekly nutrition education classes. By centering meals around vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and legumes, individuals can expect to see a high return on their health investment, as studies show this approach reduces the risk of an early death, certain forms of cancer, and dementia.
2. Â Â Minimize refined grains, added salt, and sweeteners.
In addition to increasing consumption of plant-based foods, which helps boost intake of vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, folate, vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and fiber nutrients under-consumed in the American diet itâs best to limit or avoid refined grains, added salt, and sweeteners
3. Â Â Include some nuts and seeds; avoid oils.
Nuts and seeds particularly almonds, walnuts, pine nuts, Brazil nuts, and flaxseeds offer heart-healthful benefits, thanks to their nutrient density: They provide fiber, vitamin E, polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats, and omega-3-fatty acids. These vitamins, nutrients, and minerals team up to lower LDL cholesterol levels, attack plaque formation, and provide flexible support for the arterial walls, reducing the likelihood of blood clots.
4. Â Â Avoid foods containing trans and saturated fats. Â
Trans Fats
The Food and Drug Administration is phasing out trans fatty acids, fats that remain solid at room temperature, which youâll find in margarine, coffee creamers, chicken wings, pastries, crackers, chips, and most packaged and prepared food items. Trans fats manipulate cholesterol, increasing the bad, LDL levels, while decreasing the good, HDL levels. In addition to altering cholesterol ratios, trans fats cause damage to cells that line arterial walls and increase inflammation, a precursor for obesity, heart disease, cancer, and stroke.
Saturated Fats
Saturated fats, which youâll find in animal products and oils, pose significant heart-health risks, too: For every 1 percent increase in energy from saturated fat intake, LDL cholesterol concentration increases by about 2 percentage points.
