Admin note: So I want to talk about this … development. I am not comfortable with featuring either Vanessa James or Eric Radford on this blog and I won’t post anything that features them in the future unless the situation has drastically changed.

Firstly: I know both Gabi and Guillaume are friends with Eric and at the very least friendly with Vanessa (which I can only judge as an outsider based on their social media interactions). Guillaume has also been named as one of the choreographers for J/R. This support for J/R leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I have and will continue to criticize Gabi and Guillaume for it.

Secondly: I hope it’s obvious why I’m having this strong of a negative reaction to J/R but if it’s not:

Look, I want to believe Vanessa when she says that she didn’t know what was happening with her former partner and her former coaches. I find it HARD to believe but I also don’t want to think that anybody would just silently tolerate the (alleged) sexual abuse of a minor and a cover-up. The ‘she can speak for herself when she is ready to do so’ narrative doesn’t cut it for me, it’s been over a year since the allegations were reported by Christine Brennan!! Even if a French fed policy or ongoing investigations are preventing her from saying something about the situation directly, it’s really not that hard to make a general statement condemning SA and supporting survivors. The bar is on the floor really….

Which brings me to Eric, who as far as I can tell, has never made even the vaguest of comments to support survivors of sexual abuse in figure skating despite being part of the ISU Athletes Commission. I also really dislike the framing of ‘poor, long-suffering Eric forced to skate with evil, domineering Meagan’ it reeks of misogyny!! These are all adults who could have communicated like adults…. Never mind that D/R also had an objectively incredible career together with two world titles and three Olympic medals.

And I get even more angry about this whole clusterfuck when I think about how Skate Canada is going to politick haaarrrd for J/R and for what.. for them to finish max. 7th in Beijing and then retire again???

TLDR: James and Radford won’t be featured on this blog from now on and I’ll be cheering for Walsh/Michaud in the new season

Admin Power Ranger: I like so many styles for seventeen. Since they’re 13 members and I think some will look good on this and some won’t. Though I really like what they wore on the Aju Nice, DWC and Clap era. I like everything that they wore from those 3 eras. Especially DWC and Clap. I absolutely lOVE it when they wear comfy clothes and suits. Like that’s a concept I wouldn’t get tired of. By comfy clothes, I mean oversized shirts, sweaters, hoodie, flannels and just ripped pants. Basically their casual clothing. Also just like Admin Twoteen.  Whenever they wear chokers, glasses and headbands. I legit choke on air and just die.

Riley at Fame is truly the worst kind of person. Hilarious since she created Fame after Leaving SoScandalous (Meagan was her name there I am pretty sure) and ended up just like the trash admin team from there. Fame and SoScandalous are the worst groups to ever happen in celebrity roleplay.

I agree with all of this from personal experience, and now Riley(megan) has morphed into the most narcissistic admin, even sending herself anons about how great the group is (its so obvious when she "answers")
