So many beautiful things about these panels: Cyrus acknowledging that he was saved from his own despair thanks to the protagonists; the fact that he doesn’t punish Charon for his betrayal, simply leaving him behind instead; listening to Jupiter’s words and taking full responsability, even though he doesn’t intend to do bad stuff with Team Galactic anymore; the sweet moment when his Magneton lifts the three admins, taking them with him.

Cyrus slowly embracing his own flaws and imperfections by finding completeness in others is just so meaningful and sweet, especially for someone who grew up in an abusive household and had a hard time making friends, choosing to tinker with machines instead.The pain he endured all by himself, the fact that he lost Rotom for some reason, the loneliness and struggles. He never deserved any of that. And he never meant to destroy the world or hurt people, although his actions are controversial. He just wanted to get rid of emotions because he was never enough for his parents. He never found himself enough, often seeing his own existence as incomplete because he never had validation or affection. Still, he has such a strong will. He did everything he could to make a new world without any strife (albeit as twisted as his mind at that time).

Cyrus was never meant to be evil. He was literally just in a very sad and lonely position when growing up. He was in deep pain and by default decided to interpret that pain as a flaw of the spirit. “I can’t feel pain if I don’t feel anything at all.” As twisted as this thought is, it had logic for him, and he treasured logic above everything else. It made sense in his mind and this is why he was only able to see the errors of his ways when he realized that his plan would never be possible. He started listening and opening his heart to Diamond, and he finally understood that he could have overcome all that pain by finding peace and support in others, which is particularly hard for him because how could he trust people when his own family saw him as a disappointment, no matter how high his grades were or how hard he tried to live up to their expectations?

And yet, against all odds, he is trying. He literally found redemption by changing his own perspectives of the world, all by himself. That’s how strong Cyrus’s heart, will and spirit are.

Jupiter, going by her manga appearance and brief dialogue in the games, is kinda like Jasper from Steven Universe. She’s the Muscle of the three admins, has devout loyalty to Cyrus’ cause, and is a social Darwinist who delights in beating up weaklings (both in a Pokémon battle and in an actual fistfight). There’s also some mild potential for her to be related somehow to Fantina, considering their similar hair.

I think she joined Team Galactic initially just for the chance to get paid to do crime, and got way too invested in Cyrus’ nihilist ideology to the point that she believes her immoral actions won’t matter once Cyrus remakes the world, so she can fight whoever she wants in the meantime with no consequences whatsoever.

Mars, by contrast, is more of a tactician, a schemer, the type that collects blackmail about her coworkers just in case. Her confident and aloof persona hides a powder keg of anger with a dangerously short fuse. Also, her involvement in Team Galactic ties into another headcanon I have for her: She’s Silver’s cousin. (This seems to be a fairly widespread bit of fanon, with Roark often being theorized as another potential cousin, though I think his hair being similar is more of a coincidence).

Mars is absolutely the smug spoiled Mafia Princess that Giovanni and Ariana love more than their son. Mars’ actual parents are completely normal, and either don’t know about their daughter’s job description or disowned her. Ariana never liked her sister much, and is delighted to see the apple rolled far away from the tree. She even shares her Godfather’s appreciation for normal-type Cat pokemon.

Although she certainly loves her Uncle Gio and Auntie Ari, Mars is still completely loyal to the Galactic cause, and probably became a double agent between them and Team Rocket. Either Giovanni trusts his precious darling angel niece enough to never suspect her of treachery, or knows that every word of “secret Galactic intel” she gives him is utter bullshit, and couldn’t be more proud of her regardless.

I’m curious if you have any particular headcanons about Galactic Admins Mars and/or Jupiter?

Rainbow Rocket would have been made funnier if their admins were also pulled along. There could have been such funny arguments unfolding. No survivors, either. They are all too devoted to their respective leader to back down.

Mars and Courtney would be at each other's throats while like Jupiter and Shelly watch nearby. Tabitha and Saturn are probably arguing over who is a better scientist.

I fell in love with a ketuvian who has uttara bhadra sun+jupiter and rohini moon.. he also has 12th house placements. I can tell you he was like a perfect man for everyone, but also unnoticed. Handsome and yet away from public eye. Wise and yet indecisive at some point(?) but when he comes to a conclusion, he will follow through with his choice. I admired him so much even when he told me everything about his life. Our situationship only lasted for 3 months, and yet here I am 4 years later still wondering if whatever he felt for me was true. I’m not really asking for advise but i only wanted to share(unless hehe). I never blamed him for anything tho, he has his choices to make, there was so much burden being shouldered. If anyone of our babies here have any experience with the same placements i mentioned, i hope i could hear them too. Hi to our precious admin, if this is alright to share here thank you very much.

I think people with heavy 12h placements are kind of unforgettable. they have something to them that makes them sooo special. its a very heavy energy ngl, you can always tell that these people are going thru tough stuff but their 'darkness' or suffering makes them more alluring somehow? 12h or pisces rashi is commonly found in the charts of manyyy iconic celebs and sex symbols. the darkness and mystique makes them vv intriguing despite them being so elusive. they're so hard to reach and penetrate energetically but this is exactly why people go crazy for them. the less they try, the more they magnetize others.

but that said, you said you doubt whether "whatever he felt for me was true" and i think that's very Moon + Ketu,, Ketuvians are so detached that one often wonders whether they care about u at all. Moon's nature is ever shifting, one day its waxing, next day its waning, this means Moon dominant individuals are very moody and change their mind about things frequently. if you ask them about xyz today they'll say one thing but ask them 2 weeks later and they'll say something entirely different. this can be vv confusing and disorienting for others. Moon is also linked to manipulation but since idk this person, I can't say he was like that.

but all in all, i think our attachment to certain individuals, esp those who are no longer part of our life, says more about us than them?? youre capable of intense feeling and empathy, thats why he still lingers in your mind. you think of him positively for the most part, you view him in a nuanced way but focus on his light, i think you're very loving and giving as a person. but sometimes we can be too loving.

romanticizing our experiences and our lives is wonderful but sometimes it prevents us from seeing situations and people for what they actually are. try to think about it objectively, was this guy actually as amazing? think about his behaviour in different instances? did he ever say things or do things that were 'off'? our memory is very partial so we often only remember what we want to, so its possible you now dont remember any of his 'bad' qualities but i think it will give you immense peace to let go of this connection. you can wish them well and try to forget them. our minds create their own experiences, the more you think about him and try to dissect him, the more you take away from a time that is already past.

Hi GB, First congratulations on your graduation!!! Second I have a some questions I keep thinking about relating to the Fourseen and Pandora that maybe you could answer.

What’s the story between Ulysses/Odysseus and Tyr/Hades, like how did they personally meet? Were they introduced by someone like how Odin introduced Fenrir and Pandora?

How long did it take before Odin trusted Tyr/Hades, did he earn his trust somehow?

Since the recent Birds of Valhalla vid seems to sorta relate with Ulysses/Odysseus and the Odyssey, is the series itself taking place like before, after or in between the events of the Fourseen, Pandora and the Seduced by an Eldritch vid?

How did Tyr/Hades start developing a bond with Pandora? Did it just happen overtime with the events that occurred, was it because of their personality or was it something special?

Is Tyr/Hades kinda of flirtatious in a way? Cause his personality kinda shows that he is.

Is Tyr/Hades technically also like a father figure to Fenrir and Odin since he did bring Fenrir back from the dead and try’s but fails to keep Odin out of trouble?

How does Pandora feel about Tyr/Hades? Do they see him as a father figure to them and does he realize they feel this way? And how does Odin feel about Tyr/Hades as well?

Is Ulysses/Odysseus truly brown-nosing when it comes to Tyr/Hades like Odin said?

How was Tyr/Hades able to turn into Fenrir and put him to sleep in the Earth path when he said magic doesn’t exist?

How did Odin become leader of the time guild in the Eldritch vid?

In the future of Pandora, will Pandora and Hermes become good friends or something? Right now they just seem like office employees.

Whoo! This is a big one! First of all, thank you! It's not a major degree from a prestigious college or anything, but I'm glad it's something I can say I did! Now, let's see to your questions!

Hades was a little bit of an explorer along with Zeus and Poseidon initially. He travelled to Eslteheim, Odin's world, and Ulysses, Ulysses' world. (Yes I know they're the same name) He met both cultures and made a name for himself in both places. Being called Tyr on Estleheim and Lord Jupiter on Ulysses. Ulysses met Hades on his home planet at a time where Ulysses had made contact with the world's emperor, Ellius. It was he who passed these names such as Jupiter onto the giants. And he told his champion, Ulysses, to respect them as a result.

Hades met Odin and Freya after Odin had heard his father had met him and given him the name, Tyr. Odin wanted to meet this guy because he was curious and Freya wanted to know if he posed a threat to Estleheim. Tyr appeased Odin by giving him the one thing he loves more than anything, knowledge. And he appeased Freya by showing her honesty in his actions.

I can't talk much on the position of BoV right now for reasons that will be made obvious in the coming episodes, but I can tell you that the Eldritch video takes place MILLIONS of years in the future.

Hades felt a personal connection to Pandora when he made their body and helped them to develop their form. It just happened naturally according to the laws of the universe, much to the interest of Hades.

I like to think of his energy as "Male Mommy" energy. As cursed as that is, now you know.

Technically, yes, you could say that. Although I see him as a ride or die friend for Odin.

Pandora has felt a safety from Hades that they can't say they have ever felt. They would gladly die for Hades. Odin tries to make himself an equal to Hades. His thirst for knowledge unknowingly holds him back from being as mature as him.

Ulysses is doing it out of respect for his own emperor, but also because he recognizes how much wisdom and power Hades has as well as ALL the giants.

It's all coded into him by Hades. Essentially, when it comes to Fenrir, Hades has admin powers over his actual life.

That's a plot point I can't reveal yet. You're more than welcome to come up with theories until it's revealed~

Cyrus's appearance in the Christmas event most definitely makes sense assuming both Jasmine and Volkner were involved, and the common theme is Ampharos and the lighthouse. But I feel like there's more to it than a mere cameo.

We know that Cyrus grew up in Sunyshore City so it's no surprise that he's familiar with the lighthouse. But why did he go for its symbolism in the first place when no one touched this subject? In fact, it was more of an association/memory he evoked. This is extremely important.

He was a child back then and we know he endured parental abuse and displayed asocial behavior, preferring the company of machines. But what does the lighthouse have to do with it and why does he sound so melancholic when talking about the lighthouse and the idea it represents?

I'm just wondering and trying to come up with some explanation. Maybe it's not that deep but what if it is? Pokemas tends to add random characters to interact but most often they have some deep/obscure lore that connects them through a common ground. That's the case for Jasmine and Volkner. But what is Cyrus doing here? He has nothing to add to the main story. It's more like a cameo. It feels intentional, though. The devs wanted him there. They wanted us to remember that he grew up in a city with a lighthouse.

What if he was taught that the lighthouse represents hope and it's meant to be a guide, but he never found comfort in that idea because of the trauma he endured? Or what if the lighthouse is connected to Rotom in some way? Sure, the diary was found in Eterna City and Rotom was just to the left, hidden in the Old Chateau/Eterna Forest. But it doesn't really prove where Cyrus first met it.

I'm just going insane with this idea that maybe, just maybe, the answer for him to heal his broken heart and soul is just to believe in the light that guides him in the darkness to a safe place again. He is forcing his way through darkness and loneliness because he wants to avoid the light. SO WHAT WAS THERE IN THE LIGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE THAT MAKES HIM REJECT IT SO FIERCELY?

Mars, Jupiter and Saturn? Personally, I don't think so. I feel like the way they treat Cyrus doesn't read to me as siblings, personally. Though it could be good oc potential.

"Yup, definitely a Spacial Distortion. Readings are damn near off the charts." Jupiter holds a device up to the ice chunk, typing the results into a computer on her arm.

"Great sure can you just take a screenshot or something so we can get out of here? I'm melting in this heat." Mars leans against the ice, trying to fan herself.

"Would you just chill out? I just have a little more to go-"

A rumbling cut her off, loose ceiling rock splashing into the magma as the ice begins to glow. The two admins back off as the glow shifts to just below the surface, cracks beginning to show in the smooth ice.

The southern face of the ice bursts open, steam flashing up as it contacts the molten rock completely obscuring the center island.

I really like the characterization of the Team Galactic Admins in the manga and why they would follow Cyrus.

JUPITER

• Jupiter just loves battling and is down to be the main muscle of the organization as long as she gets to battle. She couldn't care less about what they do as long as she gets to kick ass.

MARS

• Mars is mainly there for the chaos. She's bored and just wants see shit hit the fan. It entertains her. She's kinda psychotic that way, always with a crazy look in her eye. I think her commander name suits her since Mars was god of war.

SATURN

• Saturn...they made him more into machines and stuff. He's kinda like Mars in that he's curious about what happens when shit hits the fan, but what's different is that his interest stems from what chaos/effects his own creations cause.

He's like a mad scientist that way. And I think he also thinks of himself as a kindred spirit to Cyrus since they're both into tinkering with machines. I think that's also why he's eager to gain his praise.

Okay so anyways

Because of his ancestors in LA I headcanon him as cousins with Candice, who he had to babysit when the two were younger.

Was the second admin to join Team Galactic, preceeded by Mars. He's the team's "tactician" (glorified organizer), and decides who to send where.

He's closest with Mars, prefering to be around her in their downtime, but profesionally prefers to work with Jupiter, due to her more serious attitude.

Sort of related, but he gets annoyed when people don't take things seriously when he does. He hates having to convince people to do things his way, and has to stop himself from losing his temper with the newer recruits. He hasn't done it in a long time, but once, years ago, he flipped out on a grunt, and now a few of them are permanently scared of him.

His hair just does that. He used to gel it down, but eventually he stopped caring. He got it cut once, just so he wouldn't have to deal with the comments, but Mars and Jupiter were so appalled when they saw him that he opted to grow it back out.
