Musk said that slashing $2 trillion from the federal government’s budget for programs like Medicare and Social Security would be “the best-case outcome.” He’d settle for $1 trillion in cuts though, saying such historic cuts to public services would be “epic.”1
An unelected man worth $400 billion2 shouldn’t have the power to gut everything from healthcare to public education. Yet, that’s exactly what’s happening as Musk heads Trump’s new “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE) — unless we pressure Congress to stop it.
Sign the petition: Stop Musk’s devastating DOGE cuts! We must protect Social Security, Medicare, and other critical government programs from trillions in cuts.
Every public program and federal agency that benefits the people is on the chopping block as part of Musk’s dangerous right-wing project: Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid, veterans’ benefits, clean energy subsidies, ACA funding, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, labor protection enforcement, and much, much more.
He promises his cuts will create “hardship” for Americans,3 but we know millionaires and billionaires won’t suffer. Those facing hardship will be working people, seniors reliant on the social safety net, public school teachers, people on Medicaid, and so many others.
The rich will get richer while everyone else suffers unless Congress stops reckless DOGE cuts.
Sign the petition: Urge leaders to stand against Musk’s disastrous “Department of Government Efficiency.”

Concept: human afterlife law states that everyone who didn't go forth among their fellow man in life has to do so in death blah blah blah, but dog afterlife law states that all dogs are reunited with their humans after their human's death.
Which is how Marley ends up spending his time in hellgatory accompanied by a pack of dogs who don't know or care about what's going on because they get to spend eternity with their favorite person in the world.

Petition to Congress: We urge you to oppose the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency.
Elon Musk just became the first person to surpass $400 billion in net worth.1 The richest man in the world should not be in charge of devastating spending cuts that will hurt everyday Americans.
As head of Trump’s new “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE), Musk will get to slash Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, veteran’s benefits, public education, and so much more — all while he’s on pace to become the world’s first trillionaire.2 The rich will get richer while everyone else suffers unless Congress stops this reckless right-wing project.
Sign the petition: Stop Musk’s devastating DOGE cuts! We must protect Social Security, Medicare, and other critical government programs.
Musk created and funded a super PAC in support of Donald Trump. And Musk’s net worth roughly DOUBLED this year.3
He is promising to create “hardship” for people through his spending cuts4 — but not hardship for everyone. Millionaires and billionaires won’t suffer, but working people, seniors reliant on the social safety net, public school teachers, people on Medicaid, and so many others will experience hardship.
Musk should not have so much power in our political system and Congress must stop his dangerous reign at DOGE.
Sign the petition: Urge leaders to stand against Musk’s disastrous “Department of Government Efficiency.”

Elon Musk and Republicans in Congress are openly discussing their interest in cutting Social Security. Musk even tweeted that he found GOP attacks on Social Security “interesting.”1 This is how Republicans talk about slashing benefits.
After meeting with Musk, GOP Rep. Steve Scalise said, “Nothing is sacrosanct. Nothing. They’re going to put everything on the table.”2 That means Social Security.
The GOP has spent decades trying to cut Social Security. Now, with Musk taking up the mantle of gutting government programs, Republicans have a chance to actually get it done. We can’t let them do it.
Sign the petition: Urge Congress to protect Social Security from Musk’s cuts!
Musk has promised “hardship” for Americans as he plans to make massive cuts to the federal government.3
Social Security has served seniors and other Americans in need for decades. As a billionaire, Musk doesn’t know how many people rely on those benefits and how government services really need to be expanded, not gutted.
We can’t let this billionaire work with Trump and the GOP to end Social Security as we know it.
Add your name: Protect Social Security from Trump-Musk!

Elon Musk used his immense wealth and power to help elect Donald Trump. At the same time, he’s leading a company (SpaceX) that’s gaining a dangerous amount of power as a U.S. defense contractor.
If Musk has a role in the Trump admin, he may very well be “regulating” the agencies who are in charge of regulating his own companies and doling out billions of dollars of federal contracts.
Before Trump takes power, the Biden administration must cut off Elon Musk’s billions in federal defense contracts.
Since 2020, Elon Musk’s SpaceX has secured 22 space missions from the Pentagon worth $2.5 billion. Musk’s company is currently competing with other corporate giants for even more defense contracts. If given a Trump Cabinet position, Musk plans to cut government spending while in charge of “reducing government waste and needles regulation.”
Our taxpayer dollars shouldn’t be helping to enrich a man readying to entangle himself in massive conflicts of interest. End Musk’s defense contracts now!

Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has made an unprecedented and outrageous request to the Treasury Department: reassign thousands of IRS agents from their essential role in investigating wealthy tax evaders and enforcing tax laws to instead serve as immigration officers.[1]
This is a blatant abuse of executive power, hijacking an agency tasked with ensuring economic fairness to instead carry out Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda.
The IRS is meant to support taxpayers and businesses, and hold the ultra-rich and huge corporations accountable, not to serve as a deportation force. Reassigning these agents would mean fewer investigations into billionaire tax cheats and more opportunities for the wealthy to illegally evade what they owe.
Undocumented immigrants already contribute significantly to the economy, many paying taxes at a higher rate than corporations like Amazon. Yet, instead of targeting fraudsters―the ultra-wealthy and big corporations that evade billions in taxes each year―Trump’s administration is diverting tax enforcement resources to target vulnerable communities.
We cannot allow this to happen. Congress must launch an immediate investigation into the administration’s reckless, and likely illegal, overreach. Congress must stop the reassignment of IRS agents to immigration enforcement. Send a message to your members of Congress now.
The administration’s move comes at a time when tax enforcement is more critical than ever.
Over the past decade, IRS budget cuts have already allowed corporate tax evasion to skyrocket, costing the American public hundreds of billions of dollars in lost revenue. And now, instead of strengthening tax enforcement, the administration wants to weaponize the IRS for immigration crackdowns.
The IRS program to track down wealthy tax cheats will be gutted, while fear and uncertainty spread through immigrant communities.
It’s a lose-lose scenario, except for Trump’s billionaire donors who will face even less scrutiny as tax enforcement grinds to a halt.
We need to act now. Congress must investigate this abuse of power and stop IRS agents from being used as pawns in Trump’s mass deportation agenda. Take action today.

On January 29th, a terrible tragedy occurred when a military Blackhawk helicopter somehow collided with an American Airlines plane on its way to Washington D.C. from Wichita, Kansas, over the Potomac River. There were no survivors. Trump and the right-wing were quick to blame “DEI” as the culprit, which is as preposterous as it is offensive. But it quickly became clear that they were covering for the Trump admins’ own decisions that could have played a huge role in the crash. Investigate the Potomac air crash! There currently is no FAA director because Elon Musk ordered the previous director to resign over trying to hold Space X accountable for poor safety standards. In the previous week, Trump gutted a key aviation security committee, fired the heads of TSA and the Coast Guard, and changed hiring practices at the FAA. His administration has been demeaning and attacking public workers like air traffic controllers since inauguration day. Did any of this have anything to do with the crash? We don’t know, but we NEED to find out…because it certainly wasn’t “DEI!” Open an investigation into Trump’s FAA over the Potomac air crash!

If Dr. Oz leads the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), he’ll push for full privatization of Medicare. This would destroy public health coverage for seniors and enrich executives and investors in big health corporations. And it just so happens that Oz has significant investments in CVS and UnitedHealth.1
Oz’s “Medicare Advantage for All” scam is a devastating privatization plan that would do irreversible damage to America’s social safety net.2 The Senate must reject Oz.
Sign the petition: Urge your Senators to OPPOSE Dr. Oz’s nomination to lead Medicare and Medicaid.
Dr. Oz’s time as a TV doctor included marketing partnerships with Big Pharma company Novo Nordisk. As head of CMS, he’d be in charge of making decisions that could be very lucrative for pharmaceutical companies.3 And Oz’s investments in CVS and UnitedHealth could get a major boost if his “Medicare Advantage for All” plan succeeds.
“Having ongoing financial ties to a health-care company would create a disincentive to do the job the American people need done by the person in his position,” said a former government ethics official in The Washington Post.4
In order to protect Medicare and Medicaid from corporate interests, the Senate must stop Trump and Dr. Oz.

An executive order in the final days of the Biden administration could fast-track the construction of brand-new data centers for AI computing -- and the polluting power plants that fuel them.1
The problem? This action could allow data centers to exceed pollution limits, open federal lands to data center construction and give data centers priority access to available power supplies.2
AI technology may hold a lot of promise. But we shouldn't risk spiking utility bills, worse health, and poor energy reliability for what many consider to be a tech industry bubble.
Urge the Biden administration not to fast-track new AI data centers and polluting power plants on federal land.
Committing to new data centers and power plants isn't something the administration should rush into. Our health, and the reliability of our power system, are at stake.
The plan is reportedly focused on massive data centers that would each consume the same amount of energy as a city of 1 million people. Meeting the insatiable energy demand of these centers would require building a significant number of new fossil-fueled power plants.3
At best, this approach risks American families paying more for power and suffering the consequences of more pollution from power plants. At worst, it leaves American families in the dark, while AI siphons up all the energy on the grid.
Take action to prevent the fast-tracking of new data centers and polluting power plants.
The construction of new data centers and fossil fuel-fired power plants would have real impacts on our planet and on public health.
Researchers estimate that air pollution attributable to AI data centers could result in as many as 1,300 premature deaths per year by 2030 in America alone. Their study projects that, in just five years, the public health impact of data centers will be close to that of all the cars, buses and trucks in California.4
AI will be a part of our future, but fossil fuels need to become a thing of the past. Our health depends on it.
Add your name to urge the Biden administration to discard its plan for fossil fueled AI data centers today.

In Trump’s next term, Republicans will test the limits of slashing government services and the social safety net — that includes Social Security.
The “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE) is a blatant scheme to gut the programs that everyday Americans rely on, and to put more money in the hands of millionaires and billionaires. Musk wants to treat Americans like he’s treated his workers, and it won’t be good. Congress must stop Musk from running the government like it's his private corporation.
Sign the petition: Don’t let Musk cut Social Security benefits!
The GOP says “nothing is sacrosanct” in reference to gutting government spending on Social Security and Medicare.1
Musk has promised “hardship” for Americans as he plans to make massive cuts to the federal government.2

Petition to the U.S. Senate: We urge you to oppose the nomination and confirmation of Dr. Oz to lead CMS.
The stack of reasons why the Senate should block Trump’s nomination of Dr. Oz to head the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is growing by the day.
The New York Times released a report on the COVID misinformation Dr. Oz spread during the pandemic. Oz has promoted sham diet pills and made money off of a recalled medical device.1 This is just the beginning. His financial conflicts of interest, the danger he poses to Medicare, and his history of Big Pharma marketing all disqualify him from having control over the nation’s biggest public insurance programs.
Sign the petition: Urge your Senators to OPPOSE Dr. Oz’s nomination to lead Medicare and Medicaid.
Dr. Oz’s time as a TV doctor included marketing partnerships with Big Pharma company Novo Nordisk. As head of CMS, he’d be in charge of making decisions that could be very lucrative for pharmaceutical companies.2 He also has investments in CVS and UnitedHealth,3 companies that could reap major financial gains based on CMS decisions.
These conflicts of interest are disqualifying. And so are the heaps of health-related misinformation he spread to the world on TV. The Senate must stop his confirmation.
Sign the petition: Block Dr. Oz!
