A girl, almost sold into sex slavery by her father is saved by her friend into drug trafficking! Maybe because drug trafficking is better than prostitution; the latter is usually forced. Anyway, while you're trying to wrap your head around that, the plot thickens. This new flick by Niyi Akinmolayan sure deserves a place among the best Hollywood movies! The Set Up movie, which opens at the cinema across Nigeria on August 9, dotted all the i's of a professional movie. While the euphoria of Bling Lagosians is yet to settle, Niyi digs deep into the depth of the dark and upperclass Lagos; prostitution, gambling and above all, underhand activities. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jNBbzK0RX4 As Chike and Grace, the two close friends and played by Adesua Etomi-Wellington and Kehinde Bankole respectively, journey through life, using Lagos as their playground, gleefully get entangled in a conspiracy and retribution dating back almost 20years.
