Summer - Pablo Gavi x Reader
Plot: y/n hates the summer heat, but Pablo is constantly finding a way to flirt with you. Warnings: non, just flirtatious Pablo ;) ------------------------------------------------------------Some kind of phrase of you hating Summer or the heat was almost on a loop with you.
" I hate the summer!" , " it's too hottttt " , " I I swear to god, the sun's gotta be more close than normal!" , some complaints were normal; others not so much.
Pablo found it hilarious, and decided to start to reply to your comments. Snarky, agreeing with you, debunking- anything. But something he hadn't done yet was flirt with you.
You and the Barça gang (+ wags) went out to the beach. You were wearing a black bikini- which wasn't helpful.
" I hate the summer! I’m so hot!" you started to complain, right on queue.
"You are— er— it is hot…" Pablo responded, laughing but disguising it with a cough.
You, softly, hit his shoulder, " shut up! " you said embarrassed and Pablo just held your waist close smiling.
" by the way, wearing black wont help the heat stay away. " Pablo added, smacking your ass as he walked away.
" Pablo Martín Páez Gavira!" you yelled, making everyone laugh.
" you're dead." Pedri told Pablo, " worth it." Pablo said in defense.

Hi, sorry if this is a weird question, but why do you hate portimao?
Hi anon 👋👋. It's actually not a weird ask. It's actually pretty fair one.
My issue with this tracks come from the point that it's not a safe track. Simple as that. Portimão is one of the most dangerous tracks on the calendar. For once the weather is not constant, it's pretty windy and it's also have lot of chances of becoming a wet race, and that is a fucking mess when you take into account MotoE, Moto3 and Moto2.
The track itself is a dangerous one. We have a lot of accidents in here, Jorge Martín, Pol Espargaró and Carlos Tatay. And not only that, this track had the grade to be in the calendar for WSBK, but not for MotoGP, but then 2020 rolled, and it was included in the calendar, but not a single change was done, but still got the grade, according to some sources. So basically is a not apt track for bikes going over 360 km/h.
Appart of that, riders had said that this is one of those tracks where the barriers are too close for their liking, but still not a fucking thing is done. And then we have the gravel traps that have one of the biggest rocks the paddock has seen. We are still carrying this issue actually, as some new gravel was added, but in some part (half of each gravel) keeps it. Riders have gone out of Portimão covered on bruises.
I do understand that the racing is great here, but I can't stop thinking, 'who is going to be the next rider who will get injured here?' 'Is rider X not moving because he's in pain or because he got several injured?'. And there's this particular turn, where you have the camera and the riders lean like a lot and I always have the sensation riders are crashing.
So to sump it upo, I don't like Portimão because it's an unsafe track.

For the last few days, I’ve been getting really into How To Dance In Ohio and, my goodness, I adore the cast EP and have watched and re-watched every YouTube video about it I can! But, from what I could find, there isn’t a Wiki page or anything like that with information about the characters! If you can, I would love to know some fun facts (maybe pronouns, likes, dislikes, whatever else!) about the seven lovely autistic people we follow in the show!
I’m hoping to see it sometime next year! 💛
Hey there!
The Wikipedia page does exist, although it's still pretty sparse as the show is still in previews and there are rules about what the updates are allowed to be. Everything has to be substantiated by a published article on an established platform or a first-person interview.
Here's the character breakdown from the Equity Principal Audition, with some of my own notes added for context. I've included some of the nicknames we've come up with for the characters also, some of which are canon.
Johanna: 40s-50s, she/her, powerful mezzo-soprano. Caroline’s mother, perky and positive, keeps a watchful eye over her daughter, artsy mom vibes. (Note: it's pronounced "yo-HAH-na.") Also known as: Jo-Jo (pronounced "yo-yo;" not canon) Currently: played by Darlesia Cearcy, and understudied by Marina Pires. (Note also: Darlesia's name is pronounced Dar-LEE-see-ah.) Fun fact: Darlesia isn't much of a public social media user, but when I looked her up on Twitter, this is the first thing that popped up, from her time in Shuffle Along. If I were her, I wouldn't even bother with a headshot and resume anymore, I'd just hand casting directors a copy of that tweet. It pretty much says it all.
Terry: 40s-50s, she/her, powerful mezzo-soprano. Jessica’s mother, patient, loves leopard print, gives her daughter lots of space, cool mom vibes. Also known as: Ter-Bear. (not canon) Currently: played by Haven Burton, and understudied by Marina Pires. Fun fact: Haven plays my mom but she's only seven years older than me in real life. Marina P is four years younger than me. Best of all: when we were premiering in Syracuse, this role was also covered by an SU junior (Elana Babbit). She didn't get to go on, but if she had, I would've had a mother who was almost half my age!
Michael: 40s-50s, he/him, mid to high tenor. Marideth’s father, blue-collar, doing his best, is anxious in new social settings. Also plays: "Derrick," a pharmacy technician employee at Columbus Community College, who has a brief interaction with Caroline (and may or may not be a murderer). Currently: played by Nick Gaswirth, and understudied by Martín Solá.
Amy: 40s-50s, she/her, soprano. Drew’s mother, cultured, a housewife with a master’s degree, adept at managing her husband and son’s needs. Also plays: Shauna Parks, a super hawtt reporter from the Columbus Gazette. Currently: played by Melina Kalomas and understudied by Marina Pires.
Kurt: 40s-50s, he/him, mid to high baritone. Drew’s father, white-collar, conservative, a bit formal, has high expectations for Drew. Also plays: Hawkins, Mel's manager at Paws and Claws Pet Shop, who's kind of a douchebag, and Rick Jenkins, a blogger (not a reporter) who has no idea how to write about disability with any shred of respect. Currently: played by Carlos L. Encinias--who calls his collection of roles "The Villain Track" though I assure you is an exquisitely kind and funny anti-villain in real life--and understudied by Martín Solá.
Dr. Emilio Amigo: to play 50s, he/him, high baritone, Cuban-American. A clinical psychologist, founder and director of Amigo Family Counseling, great at his job, charismatic, full of empathy, recently divorced, at a crossroads. Currently: played by Caesar Samayoa, and understudied by Martín Solá and Carlos L. Encinias.
Ashley Amigo: to play 22, she/her, mezzo-soprano with a strong mix, of Cuban-American. Amigo’s daughter, a dancer recovering from an injury, is at a crossroads. Currently: played by Cristina Sastre, and understudied by Marina Pires and Marina Jansen.
Drew: 18, he/him, mid to high tenor, autistic. He needs structure, a bit formal, knows a lot about electricity and electrical grids, is looking for deeper connections in life, possibly romantic, on track to go to his dream college. Also known as: Drewby (by his mom; canon) Currently: played by Liam Pearce and understudied by Collin Hancock, Jean Christian Barry, and Hunter Hollingsworth.
Marideth: 18, she/her, alto with a strong mix, autistic. Raised by a single dad, loves to research facts, hates shoelaces, doesn’t like to be touched, is anxious in new social settings. Also known as: Wolf (not canon) Currently: played by Madison Kopec, and understudied by Marina Jansen and Ayanna Nicole Thomas. Fun fact: Marideth isn't the first canonically autistic character originated by Madison Kopec. I first heard of them back in 2019 when they were cast as Emma in a reading of a new musical called Indigo, which eventually had its world premiere last summer in (funnily enough) Ohio.
Caroline: 19, she/her, soprano with a strong mix, autistic. Perky and positive, goes to community college, is best friends with Jessica but is obsessed with her boyfriend. Also known as: Menace (not canon) Currently: played by Amelia Fei, and understudied by Ayanna Nicole Thomas and Marina Jansen.
Jessica: 20, she/her, full-voiced mezzo-soprano, autistic. Wants to live on her own, loves fantasy but is surprisingly practical, has a flair for drama. Also known as: Rachel Berry (obviously not canon as that's copyright infringement) Currently: played by Ashley Wool (yours truly) and understudied by Ayanna Nicole Thomas and Marina Jansen. Fun fact: Lol. 20. That's adorable. I'm absolutely not 20.
Mel: 24, she/he/they, earthy alto, autistic. The oldest member of the group, a seeker into self-help and mindfulness, a natural leader, works at a pet shop. Also known as: Head of Reptiles (technically canon, but we also just like to imagine Mel as a mythical creature with a reptilian head) Currently: played by Imani Russell and understudied by Marina Jansen and Ayanna Nicole Thomas. Fun fact: way back in 2021, when they were casting the first reading of the show, my agent at the time submitted me for Mel--the character was initially conceived as a cis woman on the breakdown--but I had already gotten a callback for Jessica from my self-submission, and I had a gut feeling that there was somebody better out there for Mel. I couldn't have been more right--after Imani was cast, it was largely thanks to their creativity, insight and influence that Mel evolved into the distinctive non-binary icon (non-bicon?) we know and love today.
Remy: 18+ to play 16, he/she/they, mid to high tenor, autistic. Into cosplay, makes a How-To costume and makeup tutorial videos online. Currently: played by Desmond Luis Edwards, and understudied by Jean Christian Barry, Ayanna Nicole Thomas, and Hunter Hollingsworth. Fun fact: Dez's involvement in HTDIO is the ultimate "Cinderella story." In 2021, Jacob Yandura was running a summer camp in Florida, and Dez was a student there; upon finding out Dez was autistic, Jacob said, "hey, I think you'd be a good fit for this musical I'm writing." The first time I heard Dez sing at the rehearsals for the reading, I was like, "you're SEVENTEEN?! I quit." How many actors out there go from their third high school musical DIRECTLY to Broadway? Another fun fact: Dez created all the cosplay designs we used onstage in the Syracuse production. Check out his art account here!
Tommy: 22, he/him, mid to high baritone, autistic. Funny, self-conscious, studying to get his driver’s license. Currently: played by Conor Tague, and understudied by Hunter Hollingsworth, Collin Hancock, and Jean Christian Barry. Fun fact: In real life, Conor does not drive and is staunchly anti-driving.
Ok, I gotta shower and head to the theater for work notes, but I'll happily add more later!

Juan Martín Díez:
"THE BEARD!!!”
François Joseph Lefebvre
“Total DILF material, and the fiery passion in his eyes was matched only by his fiery personality! This contest may be based on looks (and Lefebvre is a strong candidate on this metric alone); but it's hard not to fall in love with his spicy takes and saucy language. He told Napoleon, "Let us throw the lawyers into the river” after agreeing to help overthrow the Directory (quoted in David G. Chandler, ed., Napoleon's Marshals), and from his English Wikipedia article: When a friend expressed envy of his estate, Lefebvre said, "Come down in the courtyard, and I'll have ten shots at you with a musket at 30 paces. If I miss, the whole estate is yours." After the friend declined this offer, Lefebvre added, "I had a thousand bullets shot at me from much closer range before I got all this." In response to a clueless young man demanding his identity at a social event, he answered, ''Je viens de la lune, où je n'ai jamais vu un Jean-Foutre de ton espèce: Je m'appelle le Général Lefebvre!” [“I come from the moon, where I’ve never seen such a #*$& as you. My name is General Lefevre!”] Quoted in The Secret History of the Cabinet of Bonaparte by Lewis Goldsmith, 1810, which is also hilarious because the author clearly hates Lefebvre, but makes him sound like a cool badass. He earns additional sexy points by sticking by his ex-washerwoman wife, who had a mouth of her own. (tbh Catherine Lefebvre, “Madame Sans-Gêne,” deserves her own Napoleonic Sexyman [gender neutral] nomination).”

I don’t know the sainz lore pls share the sainz lore
i keep getting asked about this, so here's ONE PIECE of sainz lore:
In 1995, Antonio Sainz Rebollo (Carlos' paternal grandfather) was put on trial for the death a man named Samuel Chiabuto, who attempted to steal his wife's purse. During the confrontation, a bullet fragment from a shot fired by Sainz ricocheted and hit Chiabuto, fatally wounding him.
Antonio was ultimately sentenced to six months and one day in prison for his role Samuel's death, with the primary question during the trial being whether or not his actions were in legitimate self-defense, or instead represented "reckless imprudence resulting in death." The prosecutor argued that "defending a purse could not be equated with defending a life," emphasizing the severity of the outcome.
The case remains relatively significant in legal discussions concerning self-defense and use of force in regard to human life.
(quotes from articles on the incident below—please note that the full publications are paywalled and that these are automated translations from the original Spanish text)
The prosecutor in the 'Sainz case' says that the theft of a purse cannot be compared to a life by Elsa Fernández-Santosel for EL PAÍS Madrid (June 1995)
Self-defense or reckless recklessness resulting in death? The trial against the businessman and consul general of Bolivia Antonio Sainz Rebollo, father of the former world champion Carlos Sainz, was heard yesterday for sentencing. Forensic evidence confirmed the indications: that Samuel Chiabuto, a 27-year-old Nigerian who tried to steal Sainz's wife's purse, was killed by the ricocheted bullet fragment. According to the prosecutor, there can be no talk of self-defense when what is on the table is a purse versus a life. Sainz repeated yesterday that that night has marked his life. "I only defended my wife. When I was little, I was taught that women are sacred," he added.
Six months for Carlos Sainz's father due to the death of a shooter by Begoña Aguirre for EL PAÍS Madrid (July 1995)
Businessman and honorary consul of Bolivia, Antonio Sain Rebollo, 69, father of former world champion Carlos Sainz, has been sentenced to six months and one day in prison for the death of 27-year-old Nigerian immigrant Samuel Chiabuto. Chiabuto was shot dead by him after snatching his wife's purse. The head of the 26th Criminal Court, Eva Isabel Gallardo Martín, considers Sainz guilty of a crime of reckless recklessness resulting in death. The popular action, exercised by Sos Racismo and the Association for Human Rights, requested a sentence of four years and two months. The prosecutor asked for a one-year sentence.
Antonio Sainz was carrying a gun because of a death threat from a mafia by Jan Martinez Ahrens for EL PAÍS Madrid (December 1995)
The acquittal of Antonio Sainz Rebollo, 69, consul of Bolivia and father of two-time world rally champion Carlos Sainz, yesterday unleashed the "indignation" of SOS Racismo, personified as an accusation in the process. This association described as "resounding contempt for life" the decision of the Madrid Court to revoke the sentence that condemned Sainz for the death, on February 5, 1994, of a Nigerian shooter after a shot that ricocheted off a terrace. That night, Sainz was carrying the gun because of the death threats made against him by a mafia of counterfeiters whom he had denounced.

Educational talk at the wonderful Esseri school in La Plata
In the area of the city of La Plata, there is a great school, very modern and with very noble values, with which they educate their children, this is the Esseri School, where its directors, and the rest of the school community, are busy preparing their school community to be prepared from all aspects for the complex social and economic world that is coming for the new generations.
Thus, from a financial perspective, an extracurricular talk was organized for students of Esseri High School, where Jose Iadiccico (CEO of ADA Solar) and Ulises Barreiro (CEO of Token Mithrandir), shared in 120 minutes, very interesting topics on financial education and where students were focused on the dangers of gambling, with digital platforms such as online casinos, trading, soccer betting house, etc.. On the other hand, tips were given, and key concepts for these students to develop the concept of “Financial Intelligence”, concepts that every good person should have already internalized inside in the XXI world, in order to live with prosperity and quality of life. Martín Bitelmajer (Chess Master and chess trainer), who has a great international experience as a chess player, gave a talk to the students of the Esseri elementary school.
These educational talks given by ADA Solar and Token Mithrandir are part of the Amon Project, which focuses on touring educational and social communities, and to bring some light on Decentralized Finance. To the future generations that will need it so much. Giving classes on financial education has several significant advantages, which bring great added value to all future citizens who will go out into the world of work when they finish school:
Improves decision-making: Helps students make informed decisions about their money, which can lead to better management of their personal finances.
Promotes responsibility: Promotes responsible saving and consumption habits, teaching students to live within their means.
Debt prevention: By understanding concepts such as interest, credit and savings, students can avoid falling into unnecessary debt.
Preparing for the future: Gives them tools for long-term planning, such as investment and retirement planning.
Critical skills development: Builds math and analytical skills by working with budgeting, investment and cost analysis.
Confidence building: Gives students the confidence to manage their finances and cope with economic situations.
Contribution to society: A financially educated population can contribute to a more stable and sustainable economy for its entire environment, and for the rest of that society's economic environment.
For all these concepts, we congratulate the educational authorities of this school, who opened their doors to allow us to meet their school community, and to transmit our knowledge on this subject. For more information about the educational offer provided by the Esseri school, we leave you their website. https://colegioesseri.com.ar/
Warm greetings Mithrandir Community

Bears Beat Broncos 71-56
Cal Defense Plays Key Role In The Win
BERKELEY – On a night when shots weren't falling in the first half, the Cal women's basketball team (4-0) put on an impressive defensive display, forcing Santa Clara (4-1) into 18 turnovers to secure a 71-56 win at Haas Pavilion Tuesday night. Marta Suárez continued to impress in her first season in a Bear uniform posting career-highs of 15 points and five steals, while Leilani McIntosh contributed four steals and added eight assists. McIntosh is now just two assists away from moving into the eighth spot on Cal's all-time career assists list (395). McKayla Williams scored a game-high 16 points while leading the team in rebounds for the second consecutive game with eight.
The Broncos, previously undefeated with wins over premier opponents including Oregon and Gonzaga, were led by Tess Heal's 16 points and Marya Hudgins' 13 rebounds. The Broncos still sit atop the West Coast Conference standings and a strong performance against them was a great win that will help the Golden Bears' resume down the road for the NCAA Tournament. "We talked about how we needed to pick up the intensity on the defensive end," Cal head coach Charmin Smith said. "When the shots aren't falling you have to create some offense off of our defense. Marta had five steals, Leilani had four and KK [McKayla] was doing a great job pressuring the ball and those are the things that can get you going offensively." In the first half, the Bears shot just 39.5 percent from the field and were 1-of-14 from beyond the arc but were able to turn the Broncos over 10 times (eight in the first quarter) to keep them in the game. After Santa Clara took a five-point lead with under three minutes to go in the half, Cal got a spark from Williams who scored on back-to-back layups to help the Bears finish the second quarter 6-of-10 from the field and go into the break with just a one-point deficit at 33-32. Cal's offense got it going in the second half opening the third quarter with back-to-back 3-pointers from Kemery Martín and Williams to spark an 8-2 run. The defense continued to fluster Santa Clara, holding the Broncos scoreless for a three-minute stretch in the quarter, allowing the Bears to open a 10-point lead midway through. The Broncos cut the lead to just five points with eight minutes to go in the fourth quarter before Ioanna Krimili and McIntosh hit on back-to-back layups. A Krimili step-back jumper with 3:41 to go gave Cal a 64-52 lead and allowed the Bears to coast to the victory.

Hi Rosa! Can I suggest a prompt?
Martín and Luciano have a huge fight, they end up needing to be pulled apart by Antonio and Port. Since they're still so angry, and Luci doesn't want to talk to Port while Martín doesn't listen to Antonio, the two brothers do a switch: Antonio takes Luciano aside, while Port pulls Martín to his car so they can go on a ride and clear his head a little.
Hi my dear! Everytime you send me a message is an honor to me~ I'll try my best!
Upside down
Spanish version
"And what was it this time? " Martin got into the car and slammed the door, obfuscated " My car is a week old, please " the blond didn't answer him and crossed his belt almost cutting it " ; including the belt.
"I'm shitting on your car, Gabriel! ¡La concha de la lora!"
"… Then get out."
Martin noticed how Portugal suddenly stared at him, with that seriousness that only Europeans had; that imperial coldness so… uncomfortable. In that tone of aquamarine eyes, it seemed creepy.
"… excuse me. " the blond suddenly said in anguish. The older man sighed, resigned and amused deep down, for he still felt the Latinos were like children fighting over their toys.
"Don't worry. That's what I came for.
"No, no, really. Soy un pelotudo, I apologize uncle, it's not with you " Argentina grabbed his forehead " . It's just that I'm insane when he gets on his nerves.
"Luciano has that quality " he added with a hint of acidity, starting the car " . But tell me on the way, you need to get out of the building.
"Yes… thank you. " he said pityingly, barely blushing and looking straight ahead, like a (huge) obfuscated child.
"Do you want to go eat? This old soul is in the mood for some good codfish and an old wine; that way the words come out of the chest better when they should."
Martin smiled with embarrassment, for his attitude seconds before. Portugal was not a great conversationalist, unlike his father; and he would not give him the comfort of words for hours, or kisses and hugs to which he was get used to. No. The older Iberian was more peaceful, silent and reflective; his actions did much more than his speeches or his judgments, which, though beautiful and eloquent, were brief and select.
In that wisdom of the old empires, Gabriel knew that such an emotional creature did not need a sermon, but to change the air and do something else.
"Yes, I'd love it."
And while Hernandez thought how much more nuanced the Iberian's voice was speaking in Spanish, lilting like Brazil's but deeper, Dos Anjos smiled briefly without taking his eyes off the road, and stepped out onto the path.
---ooo---
"… and that's what happened."
Brazil lowered his arms after recounting the whole episode by circling around Spain, who looked at him seated with attention and his (strange) seriousness.
"Okay. Look Luciano, the problem is that you two are like Gabo and me; similar in the annoying points, and different enough to confront each other. Add to that the fact that you are the references of Latin America; too much pressure on your shoulders. You explode at the slightest thing."
"It wasn't the slightest thing, uncle, he questioned the veracity of my desire to be free like all the others, in front of my other brothers! How dare he, someone like him!!!"
Antonio laughed and drank the wine at his side, shrugging his shoulders.
"What a dilemma to tell that to me, my dear."
Luciano stood still and blinked, realizing.
"Ah… " Antonio laughed, making a gesture.
"Don't worry, I get the point, I don't take it personally. But yes, that difference you have with all my kids feels harder sometimes. And they make you feel left out."
"… Yes."
"Well, it's not your fault, and it's not Martin's fault. If you ask me, I think you should talk again. I know how much you love each other, and that's why you fight like that " he pointed out, finishing his drink " . Let a few days go by, you know Tincho goes off when he feels attacked, and he thought you doubted his manhood with the joke after the meeting."
"It was a joke! Everyone makes him bad jokes and worse and he doesn't react like that!"
"Well, maybe he feels that with you he must show himself different, unbeatable at heart, since he considers you as the only rival worthy. That's not a bad thing."
"It is when he says such horrible things."
Spain sighed, looking at the golden cross on his breast and touching it, melancholy; searching for the words."
"Look, Lu; I didn't raise you, okay? But I do know something: I treated your father very badly for a long time. My children felt, I felt, that he was an inferior being, despite being my eldest and having been born by the same mother. That constant contradiction in my head made me very unstable in our bond, for I love him as I love few things in the land of the Lord. As I matured over the centuries I realized that, deep down, I wanted him to stop looking at others and look only at me. I was… I am, jealous, wow. Especially of the relationship he has with Albion. I want his attention, it's a reflex; and I did it in the worst way many times, until I understood how his space was shaped and that I should respect it. I think it's the same case."
"Why would Martin want my attention? " Da Silva suddenly blushed.
"Well, because he wants exclusivity with you… as far as beings like us can understand it, of course. Not like humans, not in that obsessive and monogamous way; but that you dedicate something of yours only to him. It can be the rivalry or the energy of confrontation. That's enough for him; it's just that he's young and with that hot blood he's got he's going off the deep end, like I'm telling you. That's all."
Brazil lowered his gaze and looked out the window of that private office, scratching his curls.
"I hadn't thought about it like that… " I look at Antonio " And what is the solution?"
"In my experience, a good gift and an apology. Martin will eventually realize his overreaction and do it on his own; I've seen that way with his kids too, so it comes naturally to him. If you don't conform, you ask him for distance."
