Chapter 23: Whatever It Takes
Snow gazed through the window to the interrogation room and tried to calm her racing heart. She was trying to clamp down on her panic, as she refused to break down with Cora in the room. She wouldn't give her the satisfaction, but she was finding it increasingly difficult to stay calm as the moments passed.
Slowly, she felt a bit of it ebb away, as he put his arms around her waist.
"They're not taking Emma from us. If I have to move us into the woods or we have to live on the run, then that's what we'll do," he said. She sniffed.
"Never again Snow...she's not separating this family again," he promised, as he pressed a kiss to her hair. She turned in his arms and hugged him tightly, almost afraid that he was going to disappear. They looked at Gold, as he came out of the interrogation room with Neal.
"What happened?" Snow asked with bated breath.
"They offered me a deal. Three years with the possibility of early parole. It's not a bad deal for the charges," Neal said.
"You're taking it?" Snow asked in surprise.
"Of course he's not taking it," Gold answered for him.
"Papa…" Neal said with a sigh.
"No Bae...I told you that I am not losing you again," he snapped, as hobbled toward Cora.
"If he is taken away...there will be no where you can hide from me," he warned. She smirked.
"I look forward to any battle with you, Rumple...you always lose against me," she cooed.
"Not this time," he hissed, as he went back inside the interrogation room to represent Emma.
~*~
Emma sat in the interrogation room and waited for the Detective to start asking questions.
"Miss Swan...we have several surveillance tapes on record that show Mr. Cassidy pocketing goods, while it appears you are distracting the store proprietor," the detective said.
"That's what you're going with? Because in this video, it appears that Miss Swan is actually purchasing goods from the store clerk," Gold objected.
"That's a well known tactic with teams of thieves. One actually makes a purchase, while the other is stealing them blind," Michael argued.
"Hardly much to go to a jury with. Especially when the young woman you are attacking is just a young, single mother that has moved to a small town to raise her baby. A young mother who is now our town's deputy," Gold countered.
"Yes...a young, single mother. Raised by another single mother. I pulled your mother's file, Miss Swan," Michael said.
"You leave my mother out of this. She has nothing to do with any of it," Emma snapped, which made the detective smirk and Gold put his hand up to silence her.
"You know...it's not often in the digital age that I run across someone that hasn't left a digital footprint, but before 1983, there's no real record of your mother and when I ran her in the system, her papers came up as fake. Your brother's too. That makes them undocumented persons in this country and forged identities is also a criminal offense," detective Bishop said. Emma looked like a deer in the headlights at that information. She had never anticipated that this detective would have dug so deep into her mother's background.
"Miss Swan's mother is not on trial here," Gold interjected.
"But she could be," Michael warned.
"Mary Margaret Swan is not an undocumented person," Regina interjected, as she walked through the door.
~*~
Outside the room at the same time
"Oh Gods…" Mary uttered, as she realized that the documents she had managed to get for herself and August all those years ago were now in question.
"Dammit...this could be bad," August muttered to David.
"He's not taking Emma and he sure as hell isn't going to take you or Snow either," David hissed, as he pressed a kiss to his wife's head.
"Stay with her," he said, as he went over to talk to Regina, who was talking to Graham at the same time.
"We have to do something…" he blurted out.
"And I am getting ready to go in there now. I have a plan and part of it is this," Regina said, as Graham handed a badge to him. He was stunned for a moment and took the star in his hand.
"While Emma is embroiled in this calamity, I need help and Regina tells me that there is no one better to deputize than you to help protect this town," Graham said. David swallowed thickly, as the insecurities he still had from the abuse he had suffered gnawed at him and told him there was no way he was good enough for this. But he banished those thoughts and clipped the star to his belt. If wearing this badge meant finally getting to protect the people he loved, then he was eager.
"You can count on me and I think I might know of something that will help get rid of them. It's a bit outrageous, but if it sends them running for the town line, because it's too crazy for them to handle, then I'm good with that," he said. Regina smirked and walked past him to go into the room, but not before leaning close.
"Welcome back, Prince Charming," she said, as she burst into the room.
"Mary Margaret Swan is not an undocumented person," Regina interjected.
"Oh?" he asked.
"She's my step-sister and she escaped our town with Emma when she was a baby to save her life. She took August too and adopted him to protect him as well," Regina explained.
"And what exactly was she running from?" Michael inquired.
"My mother...the very woman that called you here. She's the real villain in all this and once again, she's trying to destroy my sister and her family. But now that I'm older and finally in a position of power...I'm not going to let her do it. Or you," Regina said.
"If she's an undocumented person in this country, one call to the correct government agency, and it will be out of all our hands," Michael replied.
"Really? You're going to call the Feds and get yourself kicked off your own case?" Regina questioned skeptically and he looked a little startled by that, as she had clearly called his bluff.
"Fine...give me one good reason why I should believe this story?" he questioned, as the door opened again and David stood in the doorway.
"Because...I was there for all of it. Emma's best chance was leaving this place, even if it killed me to see her and her mother go," David interjected. The detective looked confused.
"I'm sorry...who are you?" he asked.
"I'm Mary Margaret's husband...and Emma's father," he announced.
~*~
Outside the room at the same time
Snow gasped, as her husband dropped information that the people from outside their world wouldn't be able to understand.
"Charming...what are you doing?" she said in a worried tone. August chuckled.
"Yeah...we're not going anywhere, mom, because your husband is about to go all Prince Charming on their asses," he quipped.
"But...they'll never believe it," she replied.
"Oh, I don't think they'll have any choice," August said, as she listened to the spectacle.
"I'm sorry...you want me to believe that you're this young woman's father?" Michael asked, almost laughing at the idea of it.
"I don't care what you believe," David said, as he plucked a hair from his head and put it in an evidence bag that Regina handed to him.
"Take it and a sample from Emma. Have the hospital run it and I'm guarantee that it will prove it," David said.
"And even if I were to go test your DNA against hers...how does that change the fact that your supposed daughter is a potential suspect in several thefts?" Michael asked.
"It would definitely prove that there is obviously more going on here than you know and things you don't understand. And as for your case against Emma...if I had to guess, it's circumstantial at best. You just want to question her to see if you can get her to admit anything. I'm no stranger to interrogation tactics," David replied. He was bluffing a bit there, but he had a good amount of confidence in his ability to at least intimidate even the seasoned detective before him. And he could tell that his mind was doing gymnastics, as he looked between them. Emma was the perfect mixture of himself and Snow and the resemblance was obvious. No one bothered to look for it before, but now that it was on the table...it was hard to deny.
Greg studied the man with scrutiny and could see the resemblance between them. It was really weird, but then...that's why he was here. This town had popped into existence twenty-eight years ago and he knew that meant strange things were going on here. This might be the start of exposing it all.
"I'll take you up on that test," Greg spoke up and Michael looked at him in surprise. Emma shrugged and plucked a hair from her head
"Can we please get back to my questions for Miss Swan?" Michael interjected.
"Is my client under arrest?" Gold questioned. Michael gave him a hard look.
"Not at this time," he said reluctantly.
"Which means you really have only conjecture against her so without any hard evidence, then we are done here," Gold stated.
"Your son is still very much under arrest and he's spending the night in that holding cell. Then tomorrow morning, he's leaving for Portland with us," Michael hissed.
"I do have some questions for your mother, Miss Swan," he said.
"No...you don't. My sister-in-law, our new Mayor, just told you that she's native to this town," David responded.
"He's right...I can get the town Census if you'd like and I can assure you that my mother, the former Mayor who had a stranglehold on this town until now, is the real evil. She's ripped out more hearts than you can imagine," Regina added.
"Fine...but this isn't over. There is something rotten in this town and we're going to find out what it is," Greg said, as he and Detective Bishop left the room. Tia was about to follow them, but Gold and Regina cut her off.
"Not so fast...fairy," Gold growled. The blonde smirked.
"So you know," she said.
"Did you really think I wouldn't recognize you?" Regina asked.
"It doesn't matter," Tinkerbell replied.
"It does!" Regina exclaimed.
"Your mother ruined my life," she spat.
"Look around...she's ruined everyone's lives! But we're finally making progress against her. She's going down, so I'd like to know why you of all people would do anything to help her," Regina hissed.
"I'm not doing any of this to help her...believe me," Tinkerbell answered.
"Then why are you here, Tink? Cause I'd really like to know. I really thought we were friends," Neal interjected, as he stepped back into the room.
"You know Tinkerbell?" Emma asked.
"I was in Neverland for almost two hundred years. It's how I'm still alive," Neal replied. Emma's mind was a little blown at that, but then there was a lot she had never known about him before he came back into her life.
"Bae...I'm glad you're okay and that you got away," she said.
"Looks like you got away too," he mentioned and she frowned.
"Not exactly," she said, as Emma turned to her father. Emma wanted to listen in on that, but she took a moment to turn her attention to her father.
"Dad...are you sure that was a good idea? The DNA is going to match and it's not going to make any sense to them," Emma said.
"No...but it distracted them enough, especially that district attorney. He seemed pretty interested, which begs the question as to why. Seems like he might not be the only one that isn't what he seems," David replied. Emma had never thought about that and felt relief, as he hugged her.
"No one's taking you and your mother from me again," he promised, as he pressed a kiss to her hair, just as Snow came rushing into the room. She practically tackled him to the ground and he took her in his arms, as she crushed her lips against his.
As their lips parted, they started to hear things get pretty heated between Regina and the blonde detective that was really Tinkerbell, a former fairy.
"What do you mean...not exactly?" Neal asked. But his eyes widened, as he saw his father swing his cane at her. She dodged and David jumped in to diffuse the situation.
"Whoa...whoa...what are you doing?" he asked, but Rumple ignored the Prince.
"You're working for him," he growled in an accusatory manner.
"Not by choice...but it was the only way to get out of that hellhole," Tink replied.
"Working for who?" Regina questioned.
"Shit...please tell me you're not working for him," Neal said in exasperation.
"Someone better tell me who the hell you're talking about," Regina interjected.
"Pan…" Rumple hissed.
"Well...isn't that kind of obvious? I mean in the story I always heard...Tinkerbell kind of worked for Pan," Emma chimed in.
"Em...you of all people know that this world's quote, official story, is rarely on point," August reminded her and she shrugged.
"But nothing on Pan is in your book," Snow interjected.
"No...but I'm still the author and the pen tells me things," August said, as he met Gold's gaze and he sighed.
"Tell them...or I have to," he prodded. Gold glared at him and he shrugged.
"They're my family and every time I lie, it seems to come with more consequences than it does for a normal person," August added.
"Papa...do you know Pan?" Neal asked.
"Yes...he's my father," Gold announced, shocking them all.
"Your father?" Regina asked in disbelief.
"Isn't Pan a kid?" Emma wondered.
"Not really...he just looks like one," August answered, as they looked at Neal, whose mouth was ajar.
"I take it you didn't know that," Emma said.
"That...psycho is my grandfather?" Neal questioned.
"No...he stopped being my father when he abandoned me, so he's no grandfather to you. He's the worst...even worse than Cora," Gold said.
"Why would you work for Pan?" Neal asked in disbelief.
"Isn't it obvious?" Tinkerbell asked.
"Your freedom. The question is...what does he want in return? Because not even my pen is telling me what that is," August replied, as their eyes met, before hers finally flicked back to Neal.
"You should say your goodbyes, Baelfire. We'll be leaving for Portland in the morning," she said, as she prepared to leave. Rumple blocked her path and she glared at him.
"Out of my way, Dark One…" she hissed.
"You're not going anywhere, flea," he hissed back.
"Move...or I'll make sure you join your son in a jail cell," she threatened.
"If you think this is over...you have another thing coming," Gold replied, as he stepped aside and let her leave.
"What now?" Emma wondered.
"We work on a plan to make sure those detectives don't take either of you away," David replied.
~*~
Cora stared at the blonde detective through the glass and their eyes met, as she walked out into the office part of the station.
"Well, well...long time no see, Madam Mayor," Tink said smugly.
"Oh that's right...former Mayor. Unfortunately, you look none the worse for wear after your fall from power, but I'd say if the lynch mob in there has anything to do with it, you're going to be burning at the stake when they're done," she added, as Cora glared at the former fairy.
"That's definitely a bonfire that I'd bring marshmallows to," she joked, as Kathryn looked confused by the whole thing.
"Excuse me...who are you? And why would David claim that he's Emma's father? That's insane. And he keeps saying he's that little tramp's husband when he's really mine," Kathryn complained. Tink rolled her eyes.
"Whoa...you really did a number on this one I see," the blonde commented, as she brushed past her.
"Watch your back, Madam Mayor...you have made a lot of enemies and you might find a knife in it," Tink said, as she left the station.
"Cora…" Kathryn started to say.
"Shut up and follow me," Cora snapped, as the blonde obeyed.
"Where are we going?" Kathryn asked.
"I have something I must do to ensure that all my enemies will be destroyed," Cora answered darkly.
~*~
"So...what's our next move?" David muttered to Rumple.
"I think the real question is...how far are you willing to go to protect our families, deputy?" Rumple countered. David glanced over at Emma, Snow, and August, as they both exchanged hugs with his wife.
"Too far doesn't exist when it comes to them. What do we need to do?" David asked. Rumple smirked.
"Your little stunt with the DNA was a nice touch and it might be just the distraction we need. Depending upon how that goes, I'll know what we need to do next. For now...take your family home," he instructed. David nodded and put his arm around Snow. They exited the interrogation room, just as Cora was leaving with Kathryn following her like a puppy. By the way they were walking, it was clear they were off somewhere with purpose.
"What do you think they're going to try next?" Snow asked, with a slight quiver in her voice. Her normally strong exterior had been deeply shaken by these people's attempts to take her daughter away. But unlike so many times in the last twenty years, she wasn't facing adversity alone this time.
"I don't know and I don't care, because they can't tear this family apart again. She may have succeeded once before, but her time in power is over. She's going to lose this time," he promised. Snow turned and he pulled her into his arms, as she rested her head against his shoulder. His words, as always, gave her hope and comfort. But she also knew Cora. She knew she was desperate again and feared what it may drive her to do now.
"Let me take you home," he suggested and she nodded.
"Honey...are you coming?" she asked their daughter.
"Uh...I'll be along later. I think Neal and I are going to take little David to the park and spend some time with him, you know, just in case," Emma replied.
"We're not letting you go, princess...and if I know Gold like I think I do...he won't be letting his son go either," David promised. She nodded, as a few tears escaped down her cheeks and they hugged her between them.
"I love you guys," she said, as she felt her mom press a kiss to her forehead.
"We love you too, baby and we're finally a family," she said, as she took her daughter's hands in her own.
"Your father is right...there is no way in hell we are letting you go and that goes for Neal too," she promised. Emma nodded, as she watched him put their son in his stroller and then went to join him, as they left the station. The detective and the district attorney would be upset to find that they didn't put Neal in a cell when they returned to the station, but she couldn't be bothered to give a damn.
"How about you, sweetheart?" Snow asked, as she noticed her son's preoccupation.
"Yeah...I'll be home later too. I think there's a story to chase here," August replied.
"You mean with Tinkerbell," Snow deduced.
"There is a long, sordid story there and it stops at the point when Blue banished her," he said, as he scoffed.
"Another person screwed over by the benevolent Blue Fairy. I think she needs to know she's in good company," he said.
"You think you can find some common ground with her?" David asked.
"It's worth a shot. You know, I don't know a lot about Pan, but I do know that he's known to prey on lost people. Maybe she just needs someone to offer her a home, like you did for me, Mom," August said, as he looked at her.
"Me?" Snow asked. He smiled and gently hugged her.
"You once told me that all you wanted when you were on the run as a bandit was a home and that you found it when you met David," he reminded her.
"And then I found it with you," he added.
"I mean...I know I had Geppetto for a while and he was a good papa, but to be honest, I don't remember a lot of that. I was too young and the trauma of the night the curse was cast and what he did will always overshadow it all," he continued.
"He was scared, honey...don't be too hard on him," Snow admonished.
"You're kind for saying that, Mom...but regardless, I would have been a very lost little boy without you. I honestly don't know how I would have turned out if you hadn't come through the wardrobe after me," he said.
"What was taken from you...from you both was so unfair. You lost almost everything, but you gave everything to me," he replied, as Snow melted and hugged him tightly.
"I love you so much sweetheart," she gushed.
"I love you too, Mom and we were always okay, because you fought and worked so hard for us," he said, as he gazed down at her.
"But now...we no longer have to worry ourselves about you," he said, as he looked at David with a smile. Snow smiled shyly, as David slid his arms around her.
"No...you don't," she said.
"Anyway, maybe Tinkerbell just needs to know that Pan's way isn't the only way and that maybe she can find a home, instead of doing his bidding. Either way, there is a story here and I think it needs to be in the book," he said, as he left the station as well.
"Do you think all that is really about a story?" David asked her and she smiled.
"Definitely not, but I think I'll take you up on that offer to take me home," she replied. He smiled and kissed her tenderly, before leading her out to his truck.
~*~
As Gold stormed back to his shop, he was surprised when he ran into Lacey.
"Oh...there you are. I was actually on my way to the station. I...I heard about your son," she said.
"Well...whatever you heard isn't happening," he growled, as he brushed past her.
"You mean they're not taking him out of town?" she asked curiously.
"Oh, they're going to try and if they do...I will make sure it is the last thing any of them do," he said darkly.
"Let me help," she offered and he looked at her skeptically.
"You want to help me?" he questioned. She shrugged.
"You helped me by putting Keith in his place and I'd like to help you with whatever you need," she replied.
"I'm not a good man. If you want to work with me, you might see some very dark things," he warned. She smirked.
"Oh I'm counting on it," she replied. He wasn't sure whether to be excited by her attitude or sad. On one hand, Lacey being attracted to his darkness was inviting. But Belle had always been the opposite of that and therein kept him tied to his humanity. Either way though, he didn't have time for any of it.
"Come along if you so wish," he said, as she followed him with a smirk.
~*~
The more this day went on, the more confused Kathryn grew. Everything David had said and done at the station had confused her to her very core. He had told that detective that he was Mary Margaret's husband and Emma's father. It was absolutely ludicrous, but then he had gone and given them a DNA sample like it would be some sort of proof. It was impossible though. Complete and utter lunacy and yet no one else around him was treating it as such. Instead, the new Mayor Mills and Sheriff Humbert had rewarded his idiocy by giving him a deputy badge of all things. And if she hadn't felt like she was in the Twilight Zone before...she did now.
She had followed Cora to the old library, which had been locked and boarded up for years. Cora had pulled out an astonishingly large ring of more keys than Kathryn had ever seen and let them into the old building. Sidney Glass was there too and she had gotten into a hand cranked elevator with the former Mayor.
Now she was confused and terrified, for they had been lowered into a cavern beneath the library and it was pitch black.
"What...what are we doing down here?" Kathryn asked, as she finally found her voice.
"I need something," Cora replied vaguely, as she watched the woman look and stopped, as she leaned up against something.
"This...this doesn't feel like a wall. It...it feels scaly…" Kathryn said in a frightened tone, as she walked back from the mass that lay in the cavern.
"What...what is that?" she asked, as her eyes refused to believe what they were seeing.
"Never mind that! Get over here!" Cora hissed, as the other woman stumbled around the rocky outcroppings in the cavern, until she finally found Cora and stared at the object before them.
"A coffin?" Kathryn squeaked with a quiver in her voice. Cora smirked and gently ran a gloved hand along the dirty glass covering.
"A glass coffin," she corrected.
"This was once the answer to me getting everything I ever wanted," she continued.
"She was never supposed to be such a problem...but she rallied more love and support around her than even her distasteful mother ever could. But this was supposed to be her end," she said.
"She was supposed to sleep here eternally, her own body as her tomb. And he was supposed to be executed so he could never press the kiss of true love to her red lips," she continued.
"Then her suffering would have been eternal. She would never awaken, yet never die...she'd never be allowed to reunite with her true love and then my revenge would have been complete," she growled, as she thrust her hand through the glass and pulled out a small, velvet pouch.
"But they ruined it...they ruined my perfect revenge and now my perfect curse," she said, as she pulled a large black diamond out of the pouch and cruel smile curled on her lips.
"What is that?" Kathryn asked. Cora looked at her.
"The only way I'm ever going to get rid of all my enemies," Cora replied darkly.

A MHA fanfiction. Chapter 3.
Chapter 1       Chapter 2
AO3
Summary:
Izuku has been kidnapped by All For One, for reasons the young boy doesn’t understand. He is forced to stay at a rundown facility, surrounded by villains and, for all he knows, completely without help. In-between his attempts to escape or learn why he has been stolen, the young boy spends his time with a near-comatose man who seems strangely familiar.
Trigger Warnings for: kidnapping, body horror, medical torture, needles, and pain
Special trigger warning for this chapter: burns (it’s brief)
A buzzing TV stood in the corner of the police station, playing a late afternoon news channel. The spokesperson on screen glanced down at the papers in front of them before looking up at the camera, their expression professionally blank.
“Now, as to the strange events of yesterday, we’re still gathering information.”
The screen cut to a scene of destruction. It had been a local open-air shopping market, but now all the stalls were piles of scrap wood and plastic. There were rotting piles of food and ripped clothing lying all over the street.
“As far as eyewitnesses could tell us, a group of law enforcement officers had been pursuing a suspect through what had been an outdoor shopping complex. Apparently, in order to cause a distraction to help them escape, the suspect actually injected several customers with a dose of trigger, a drug well known to amplify quirks to a much more powerful, and uncontrollable, level.”
A blurry video eased its way across the screen, showing bloated limbs and quirks that had gone out of control. It was clearly a recording from someone’s phone, pixelated and jarring as the person holding the camera was jostled by the crowd.
“The suspect has yet to be detained, as officials were quickly occupied trying to lead everyone to safety. No one was injured, though those affected by the drug have yet to be released from the hospital. Normally trigger wears off after a few hours, but the victims seem to still be undergoing the painful transformation nearly a day after their exposure.”
A police officer showed up on screen, talking with a reporter while clean-up efforts took place behind them. Their face was controlled as they spoke into the microphone. “The extended effects of the drug that the victims are experiencing aren’t completely new. It has been known to happen when a bad batch hits the streets, and they are expected to make a full recovery.”
The camera switched back to the main reporter, who was carefully ordering their papers on the desk in front of them. “Now, as to whether or not these current events will push forward the proposed trigger antidote is still uncertain. Reports of a recent break-in attempt at the facility where the antidote is being tested have brought into question the true effectiveness of local law enforcement, especially considering the on-going absence of the pro-hero All Might . . .”
Naomasa Tsukauchi rubbed at his eyes and leaned on his desk. A mess of papers was spread out before him, road maps and photographs and little scribbled marks of writing on sticky-notes leaning out over the floor.
An old cup of coffee rested on the edge of his desk, day-old grounds sticking to the bottom of the porcelain. Naomasa shot it a glare as he scrubbed one hand over his short beard, fingers tangling in the hair.
I need a trim, he thought, one hand rubbing over his cheek. The usual crisp cut of his beard had disappeared, long nights taking away the typical cleanliness.
He’d keep his beard, though. He hadn’t shaved in four years, and he wasn’t about to start now.
The particulars of the Midoriya case had taken over his work station, files and phone numbers and pictures gathered around the edges of his area. The case was on the verge of being ground to a halt. The trickle of information had come to a stop several weeks ago, and Naomasa spent his nights going over old data in an attempt to find something he missed.
He was drawn out of his thoughts when Sansa stopped by his desk, one gloved hand gently tapping on his shoulder.
Sansa smiled when Naomasa looked up at him. “We might be in luck. Kuznetsov and Ricci brought in someone you might want to see. Says they know something about your case.”
Naomasa nodded, straightening up and resting his hands on the small of his back as he stretched. “I’ll be over in a moment. Room 2.”
Sansa nodded, walking away towards the other end of the precinct.
Naomasa shook his head and stretched his arms towards the ceiling. One hand scratched at his beard as he relaxed, the other grabbing a notebook and pen from his desk. His doubt at any new information falling into his lap grew as he walked over to the questioning rooms, stopping by the second door. There were two people in police uniform standing outside the door.
Officer Marco Ricci was short and lithe, built more for speed and stealth than force. Black and orange markings decorated his skin, bead-like scales adding a variety of textures and small shadows to his face. A broad nose spread across his face, and a thick jaw held sharp, pointed teeth. He was talking to his companion, one hand - yellow claws carefully filed - resting on his partner’s shoulder.
Officer Dana Kuznetsov was physical opposite to her partner. Muscle-bound and tall, her size gave her great advantages in questioning and chasing down stubborn suspects. A pair of ram horns sprouted from her bald head to curl around her slightly pointed ears, the thick muscle of her neck twitching as she shifted her weight from side to side. The lights of the station reflected off her deep bronze skin, and as Naomasa approached the pair he heard her mutter in what must have been Russian.
“I’m telling you, this place has the best coffee,” Ricci said, a tilt to his slitted eyes.
“I’ll believe you when you actually bring me some.”
Naomasa walked up to the duo, a faint grin on his face. “What’s all this?”
“Ah, detective. Hello.” Ricci bent over in a brief bow. “My partner is denying my coffee-tasting abilities. I intend to prove her wrong.”
Kuznetsov shrugged. “If you’re paying for it, I have no complaints.”
Naomasa gave a wan smile and shook his head. The amusement faded from his face as he gestured at the closed door. “So, who do you have for me?”
“A fellow by the name of Nishi Aki. He found us, actually. We were just completing our rounds and he comes out of nowhere, waving his hands and looking frazzled. It was interesting,” said Ricci, crossing his scaled arms and tilting his head. “When we asked him, he said he had information about, and I quote, ‘That missing Midoriya kid.’ We decided to bring him in after hearing that.”
Naomasa nodded. “Is he in our system?”
“Just petty thievery several years ago, sir.” Kuznetsov nodded. “Nothing big. He’s only had to do some community service.”
He sighed. “Well, let me see what he can offer us.” Naomasa walked into the room alone, pulling the door closed behind him. Several chairs rested around a table, an inlaid one-way mirror settled into the wall next to the door.
Someone was sitting at the table. The man who looked up at Naomasa was of middling height with close cropped hair. There wasn’t any evidence for a quirk, except for the pair of gills that flared up his neck.
“Nishi Aki, I’m Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi. I’ve been told you have some information for us?” Naomasa said, pulling out a chair and gently sitting down.
Aki nodded, an anxious look on his face.
“Why don’t you tell me what you think we need to know,” Naomasa said, prompting the man to start speaking.
“W-well, you see, I was just hanging out at the bar the other day.”
“Which one?”
“That one next to the old gym, across from the railway. Can’t remember the name, but a lot of folks from the nastier side of life like to go there after the sun goes down.”
“Alright.” Naomasa nodded. His quirk hadn’t flared - Aki was telling the truth.
“So there I was, just nursing my sorrows as one does, and these two folks come in. You could tell they were in something deep. Shadows on their eyes and looking like they have a wrecking ball chasing after them. This pair sits down behind me, yeah, and starts talking. And drinking. Not the good stuff, either.”
“Do you think you could describe the two individuals?”
“For sure, yeah. You don’t forget faces like those.”
“Alright. I’ll have someone talk to you once I’m done. What did they talk about?” he asked, making notes on his pad.
Aki leaned across the table. “They were complaining about a kid, detective, sir. Said they was tired of chasing him around, and that he should just learn to sit down and keep quiet.”
“I see. And what makes you think this might be connected to the Midoriya case?”
“Well, you see, I remember seeing that news showing where they posted a picture of the kid to get people out and looking for him. The two crooks I was listening in on talked about the kid and his green hair, and that flicked something in my head. They left afterwards, and I asked the barkeep where they hung their coats.”
Naomasa nodded, registering everything as the truth. “So you did some sleuthing of your own. And?”
“I couldn’t find out much, but the two fellows did have a lot of dust on their feet and I was told they tend to come into the parking lot from the west side.”
Naomasa held back an excited smile, jotting down several notes on his pad. “This could be useful information, Aki. Thank you.”
“No problem, detective. I’ve got a soft spot for kids.”
Naomasa nodded. “I’ll have someone stop by in the next few minutes to hear your descriptions of the two people. Thank you for coming in.” He clicked his pen and stood, the chair squeaking as its legs skidded over the floor.
“Good luck, sir.” Aki gave a little wave, which Naomasa returned as he left the room. He made sure to pull the door closed behind him.
The two officers were still standing outside the door. “Kuznetsov, Ricci, he has some information on descriptions. I want you to get those down and see if they match anyone in our files. Maybe have him go over our facial database.”The two officers gave acknowledging bows before Kuznetsov headed down the hallway and Ricci went to talk with Aki.
Naomasa walked back to his desk, a restrained grin on his face as he pulled out a large map and started scanning it up and down.
“Looks like someone’s excited,” Sansa said, walking up to stand next to Naomasa. “What are we looking for?”
“Anywhere west of here,” Naomasa muttered, pointing one finger at a large complex. It was surrounded by train tracks, and Sansa could faintly read out the symbols for a gym near Naomasa’s finger. “There’s a lot of places we’ll need to search and patrol, but I think we can cut down on the territory by a lot. And there’s a chance the kid is still alive.”
Sansa nodded and started looking over the map, occasionally marking a place with a red pen he pulled from his pocket. “This is based on your new information?”
Naomasa grinned. “Yes. I think we’re finally getting somewhere.”
Endeavor walked down the hallway, careful to keep his steps muted. He generally didn’t take security jobs - finding them tedious and boring - and a part of him hoped that the criminals from several nights ago would make another try for the vault.
He couldn’t help but grin at the memory of how the security force had all but begged him to stay.
“Endeavor, sir, we just can’t afford to lose to these people. We need the strongest there is, and that’s you.”
He had accepted in good grace, of course.
That didn’t stop the niggling thought in the back of his head that they had only come to him because All Might was a chronic no-show.
They just want me because he’s not here.
His mood soured, Endeavor kicked his foot along the ground and continued his patrol in a sullen silence. He made it around several corners before the communicator in his left ear crackled with static.
“Suspicious activity on the north wall, please advise.”
“North wall . . . I’m nearby. Keep your men back in reserve.” Endeavor gently tapped on the earpiece, signaling the end of his communications. He walked silently down the hallway, ears straining for any noise that seemed out of place.
The communicator screeched. “We’re under attack! They’ve taken the wall!”
Adrenaline spiking, Endeavor slammed his hand down on the earpiece. “Give me a position!”
“North wall!” Something briefly shorted out in the communicator, and Endeavor could faintly detect the rattle of gunfire and the crack of concrete moving against itself. “They have someone stron-” The earpiece went quiet.
Endeavor clicked at the communicator, shouting into the mouthpiece. “Who is -”
The wall exploded.
Endeavor jumped backwards, managing to not trip over the rubble that flew around his feet. A shattered brick hit his head, and he felt a cut open along his cheekbone. He fell back into a fighting stance, one shoulder towards the opening in the wall, and waited.
The dust didn’t have a chance to clear before a large something slammed into him, the hero barely managing to lift his arms in front of his face before he was being pushed backward. He felt a meaty hand fasten around his waist, and the world tipped upside down as he was dragged up and over a wall of muscle.
He twisted, determined to not hit the concrete head-first. A flare built up in his hands, and he blasted his opponent with a compressed fire shot. He hit the ground on his shoulder and rolled backwards, hands immediately fisting as he prepared for another attack.
The dust had cleared, and Endeavor got his first decent look of his opponent. It was tall, quite a bit taller than him, and completely filled-out with muscle. A mask covered it’s head, tinted lenses keeping him from getting a good guess on their appearance. Two canisters rested along it’s jaw, and Endeavor could hear the faint scream of compressed air. Strangest of all were the strange circular fixings that wound up it’s scarred arms and torso.
Endeavor’s eyes fell to the shadows moving behind his opponent, people sneaking past the hero and into the recesses of the hallway. They were trying to get inside the office proper.
The hero fell into an aggressive fighting stance, hands up around his ears and one shoulder towards his opponent. He threw a punch, a fireball launching from his fist and roaring down the hallway. It never landed.
Instead, the hulking figure seemed to blur out of existence and materialized right in front of Endeavor. The fireball sputtered against the concrete and went out.
A fist collided with his face and Endeavor was sent head-first through a nearby wall. Something hot and wet dribbled down the back of his head.
He tried to stand, but the world tilted sideways. Throwing his hands out, he tried to lay out cover fire to give him a moment to breathe. He wasn’t fast enough. By the time he had made it to his knees, his opponent threw its arms around his waist and slammed him into the ground, grinding his back into the cement. A muscled shoulder landed on his chest, pushing the air out of his lungs.
Endeavor gagged and grappled at its broad back, hands scrabbling for purchase. His fingers brushed against something hard, and even as a part of his brain realized that the strange circular fixings must be on his opponent’s spine as well as it’s arms and torso, one hand fixed around a port and yanked.
This better be a weak point, Endeavor thought as he felt his ribs start to give.
His opponent’s legs shook and it feel to one knee, but the grip didn’t loosen. Endeavor grunted, struggling to see through the spots popping up before his eyes. Fire blasted from his hand to coil around the figure’s shoulders and back. Endeavor could smell the sticky scent of burning muscle. His hand fixed again around the port, fingers trying to dig under the heated edges, and he pulled.
Something gave in his opponent’s back, and it collapsed over onto its side. The pressure left Endeavor’s chest, and he pulled in a halting breath of air. His hand was coated in blood, and several nails had torn free.
The villain was twitching on the ground, blood dribbling down it’s back to pool in the cement. Endeavor tried to get to his feet, knowing that there were other villains to take care of, but everything seemed to tilt around him and he could only manage to flop down to the ground. He tried to a careful eye on his downed opponent, but it was difficult through what he guessed was a developing concussion.
He rested his back against a chunk of rubble, gently feeling around the back of his head. A rising bump met his fingertips, and he hissed when he pulled his hand back.
There was a blur of air and wind, and Endeavor felt hands fasten around his arms and drag him off the ground. He realized too late that his opponent hadn’t been put down permanently.
He was held at face level, his blurred eyes meeting the tinted lenses of the mask. The thing seemed . . . confused. It didn’t kill him right away, which would have been easy to do in his compromised state. It just turned it’s head to the side, and a quiet voice came from beneath the mask. “Enj . . .”
Something hissed from the canisters around it’s jaw. The figure threw back its head and screamed.
Endeavor took advantage of it’s hesitation and and squirmed free, planting a solid kick in his opponent’s face as he fell away. It didn’t seem to notice the canister that was knocked askew.
A woman ran by and latched onto the figure’s shoulder, serrated nails digging into it’s skin. “Oh, no you don’t!” A green wave went down her arms to flare around where she had clawed it’s shoulder. Endeavor didn’t take time to notice anything else.
He clapped his hands together, a wave of fire blasting from his hands to rush to each corner of the room. He took advantage of the visual distraction, sidling up closer to the woman and the larger villain. He landed a solid punch on the woman’s shoulder, sending her careening away from the two fighters with a shout of surprise and pain.
Whatever confusion his first opponent had been grappling with had faded. An elbow cracked into Endeavor’s cheekbone and he threw a fire-laced punch into it’s neck in retaliation. They grappled, Endeavor trying to augment his movements with blasts of flame to compensate for his lesser strength.
It didn’t work.
A strong arm wrapped around his neck, and Endeavor knew he had lost. His hearing was fading, and his eyesight was getting spotty. Prickles ran up and down his arms as he started to black out.
“Snap his neck! Snap his neck!” The woman was screaming, but it sounded far away.
Endeavor felt the arm around his neck tighten, and the world went dark.
Shigaraki watched as Sensei looked over a small digital chip, resisting the urge to scratch at his neck.
A woman was with them, idly fiddling with her short hair. Her fingertips were tinted green. “It’s getting harder to control it out in the field.”
“Explain.”
She leaned against the wall and rubbed the back of her neck. “My pheromones aren’t lasting as long, and it went against direct orders. I had to get a little physical with it in order to meet our objective, and even then it wouldn’t finish off Endeavor like I ordered.”
“Is he dead?”
She shrugged. “I couldn’t tell. More heroes showed up before I could make sure, but it looked like he just got choked out.”
“Unfortunate. I wanted him permanently removed. We’ll just see if he gets back to his feet after this.” Sensei clipped one nail off the edge of the chip, a plastic sound echoing throughout the room. “Still, this will help our foothold greatly. Well done, Ito.”
She nodded. “Happy to help, boss.”
“Feel free to do what you wish with the men. They’ve outlived their usefulness to me.”
A wicked grin bloomed across her face.
“Tomura, with me.” Sensei slipped the chip into one of his pockets even as he stepped towards the door. Shigaraki followed him out into the hallway, a thought slowly growing in his head.
They walked quietly down several corridors, their feet scuffing along the cement floor.
“Sensei.”
“Yes, Tomura?”
“If that thing breaks loose, there’s no telling what damage it could do.”
“Hmm. You could be right.”
They rounded a corner, Shigaraki lengthening his steps to keep up with his teacher. He didn’t say anything as they walked down the corridor, noticing the way Sensei’s hands were held behind his back and the way his fingers twitched.
He’s thinking.
They passed under a light, and Sensei spoke up. “We’re getting close to the day where it’s usefulness will be null and void. I’ll have you dispose of it when it’s time.”
Izuku sighed and turned another page of his notebook. He idly scratched at his arm. The spots where he had gotten the shot and his blood drawn were sore and bruised, and it hurt to move. He was in his room, trying to stay warm under his jacket and the thin blanket.
He set the notebook down with a sigh, the page open to Cementoss’ bio. Izuku wished that he still had his pens and pencils, just for something to do, but those had been taken when his school bag got searched.
Izuku shifted on his bed and stared at the handle on the door. It was fairly simple, only a rounded knob with a keyhole in the center. Of course the lock could only be turned from outside the room, otherwise Izuku’s escape attempts would have been far more numerous. He was tempted to try picking the lock, but he didn’t have anything to use as a lockpick, and he doubted he’d get far anyways.
He sighed and gave and impulsive kick at the wall. The problem is that I have no idea where I am. I might be able to  get out of the building if given the chance, but beyond that I’m completely in the dark. I might not even be in Japan any more.
Izuku sat up and wrapped the thin blanket around his shoulders, one hand coming up to pinch at his lip as he thought. If I could get closer to Shigaraki, I might be able to find some things out.
The older boy had taken a strange liking to Izuku, possibly because of his youth. For all that Shigaraki looked to be in his late teens or early twenties, he seemed to act more like someone around Izuku’s age. He’d taken the captive boy for walks around the base several times, though they never left the complex and Izuku hadn’t been able to find any windows to look through.
Shigaraki liked to talk about his sensei and the faults of heroic society when he wasn’t watching Izuku. He always had a strange, almost strained, expression when he simply looked at the boy.
Izuku tended not to talk back. He didn’t know how his fanboy tendencies would be received among his captors, but he was willing to bet it wouldn’t be favorable.
“If I’m careful, I think I can, though.” Izuku nodded to himself.
If I’m careful, I can learn what I need to escape.
Author’s Note: The base for Ricci is a gila monster, if anyone’s curious. He’s just a lot quicker and less beefy than the actual animal, though he does produce venom in his lower jaw and his bite is still pretty painful.
This is my first time writing an actual action scene. It was really fun to write, and it’s always a good day when I get to put my martial arts experience to use!! Also, getting this chapter posted is kinda a big thing for me. The last time I got into a Big Fic Project I stalled after the second chapter. Getting to this point sort of feels like I’m finally overcoming that weird hurdle, so thank you for your support and reviews!!
Thanks for reading!!

Seattle Street News 53, The Krund Issue
City News:
Broken News—(by demmalition1)
Sitting in a small roadside diner, nice place with a retro 2020’s vibe called “Hindsight”. Throwback places are never really accurate, I can spot at least three memorabilia from the 1990’s in there, but no one else is giving a shit so why should I?  Food’s good though, plate of warm soy-shrimp with soy-noodles and real garlic, plate of real bruschetta, and some wine to wash it down. You’d think they’d have soy-burgers and beer, but I’m not complaining.
Seating’s good and the waitress is flirting with me trying to get those extra few percentage points on her tip, probably to cover for this month’s rent based on how hard she’s pushing it. I ignore her and flip through the AR news feeds trying to catch up on what I missed after finishing my last report. Seems like most of the debris fell into the ocean harmlessly, one or two pieces on the outskirts of Japan, and a few scattered pieces on the UCAS/Tir Tairngire border. Hopefully nothing to worry about, but I’m still on guard for anyone asking me if I’ve heard the good word of our Lord and Savior <prog.Monads.exe>.
Anyways, I’m getting off track here, let’s flip through the minor news here... Oh yeah...
Corporate News shill Meta RyRy has been kidnapped live on air!  That’s right folks, the persona of poison and corporate deceit has been deposed from his throne of lies in front of several thousand viewers. So far public reaction has been one of sadness and shock tempered by a solemn resignation of “it was bound to happen sooner or later”. I’m fairly certain a large percentage of active viewing participants were simply corp execs looking at their egregiously narcissistic ads or sniping other corps with insults, and are more dismayed at the loss of a soapbox than of the person reading off their corp scripts. Sure, some of this might’ve been useful or for the public good, but can you take a man seriously when he says that there’s no public health risk from the satellite debris or that a manastorm isn’t brewing until it’s too late?  Can you trust the man who constantly gave “the finger” to us at the SSN (including me personally on one occasion) or others who tried to help the SINless?
Frankly, I’m glad to see him go, he spread corp propaganda right up to the night of the “Concert Freefall” wherein the Seattle Metroplex marketplace lost a combined ¥200 billion in value overnight. That’s right, the shadow war between Horizon and Saeder-Krupp in which various other corps banded together finally came to a head. A joint concert held by both sides to promote unity was actually a cover for their more duplicitous actions involving multiple runner teams, industrial sabotage, and an all-out assault on both Horizon Media and SK-Aerospace. In its wake thousands will lose their jobs, even many executives at the top are not safe, as I hear the Corporate Court is taking action and reshuffling their decks as I write this. Expect to see many “Will Oppress Masses For Food” signs out in the streets in the following weeks.
So where does this leave us?  A corporate shill and his corporate lies have disappeared from the face of the Metroplex. Can’t say I’ll miss the propaganda, but the show did have a certain unabashed bravado in its brazenness, it was very entrancing and at times even humorous. The corps are hurting badly, but they will recover like they usually do. The SINless will continue to suffer in the short term until Governor Dzhugashvili’s progressive legislation gets passed.
But that’s that, there’s nothing to go back to. No system to salvage and the events that occurred over the past week are sure to galvanize many people in the coming months. Already there are fissures in the underground that are creeping to the surface, a new cracked and fragmented society awaits us in this brave new world of the damned.
Tumblr media
All About Krund Yuste Alfonso!
Footage has recently leaked (See exclusive video HERE!) of the attack on gubernatorial candidate Krund Yuste Alfonso that occurred a few months ago at the Aztechnology Emerald City Fitness gym. I’m sure you all remember the incident! Krund Alfonso was running for mayor when a naked British troll accosted him in the shower room. At the time, Krund Alfonso insisted to the SSN (See Issue 36), that this was no attack at all, but a simple mix-up with an over-eager fan. But the video footage reveals that Krund Alfonso was downplaying what was clearly an attack. Although the footage we have does not give a clear look at the British troll nor the reported homeless dwarf, what we are seeing is a clear assault by an unknown assailant. The assailant wrestled with the candidate and then fled.
This video raises many questions that all of the citizens of the Metroplex should be asking. If Aztech, one of the most security and militarily powerful Megacorps can’t keep its execs safe in the most vulnerable of moments—naked in the gym—can any corp exec be safe? Is any gym safe from intrusion? Krund Alfonso, a kind and conscientious figure, clearly lied about the assault in order to protect Aztechnology’s reputation in light of their shamefully inadequate security. But why was Krund Alfonso really assaulted? And does this assault have anything to do with the fact that Krund Alfonso is currently missing and has been since the revelation that he was an Arislen clone? Where is Krund Alfonso now? Is it true the Horizon might know the answer and they are hiding that information from the rest of us? Why would they do that? What do they have to hide? The corps have been trying to distract the public from the disturbing implications of this news by bringing up other so-called stories that mostly consist of trying to attack their favorite scape goats: SINless runners, the heroes of the streets. Don’t fall for that! Keep your eyes on the prize! Speaking of prizes…
The video also revealed quite a few other things to the Seattle masses. One of the major things it revealed is that Krund Alfonso, ex UCAS marine, still cuts a dashing figure. People on the streets have said that he is the most physically fit ex-gubernatorial figure in decades, and everyone is talking about Krund Alfonso. Looks like there is a bit of a fashion war going on between two powerful forces over Krund Alfonso’s body. Sources tell me that both Spinrad Industries’s fashion division and up-and-coming fashion designer Arzu Kaprol want Krund Alfonso to model their fashions for the upcoming season. And why wouldn’t they? Krund Alfonso has become this season’s It-Boy. He is fit, he is polite, he cares about the SINless, he is a sex symbol, he is a mysterious Arislen clone…and more importantly, he is missing! Where is he? Was he kidnapped? After so many missing execs, is he another one?
People of Seattle, the corporations are clearly unsafe, not only to the SINless and the UCAS citizens, but also to their own citizens! Let your voices be heard! Tell Governor Dzhugashvili to pressure the Megacorps for more transparency. Let’s find out what the truth is! And let’s find out where Krund Alfonso has gone!
Keep your eyes open for Seattle’s own Troll and send in tips!

SpiceBOT Concert
Last week the SpiceBOT reunion concert co-sponsored by Saeder-Krupp and Horizon was a huge, if odd success. Tens of thousands of people crowded downtown to see the wildly popular band perform all their hits. The Metroplex was transformed into a SpiceWorld. In the Virtual, the Saeder-Krupp band concert was broadcast by Horizon Media. Except, halfway through the concert, Horizon’s media feeds failed, leaving people frustrated throughout the world. Saeder-Krupp’s new Media subsidiary heroically saved the day and was able to finish broadcasting the show for the grateful viewers. Good job SK! We all want to zig-ah-zig-ah.

Once More 13--(by Breach)
War is a complicated thing, and the more recent the war, the harder it is to break down, especially in the space I have here at SSN. JackPoint compiled a 26-page dossier on the event and it still doesn’t cover everything, but the fallout of this one is big enough that I think we all need to understand it, even as removed as we are from the battleground here in Seattle.
The official declarations came in early 2072, though tensions had been building long before - Aztlan has ever been an expansionist empire, and has been long-stymied to the north by the mutual defense agreement between the CAS and PCC, so south it has looked, swallowing up the nations of Central America until it became once again stymied in South America by the Awakened State of Amazonia; the combined power of Hualpa and Sirrug was enough to curb even the mighty Aztechnology - for a time.
I’m going to leave out most of the details - get your hands on JackPoint’s Storm Front data file if you want those - but to give a broad overview, the war was between not just two nations, but two megacorporations as well; Aztlan and Aztechnology are virtually inseparable, the welfare of one being intrinsically tied to the other, but Amazonia had Corporate aid as well, from Aztechnology’s decade-long PR rival, Horizon.
The war was an actual war, have no doubt of that, but it was not fought solely in the jungles and streets of South America; it was fought also on the global stage, in the hearts and minds of the world.
Horizon won early victories, casting Aztlan as the villains and sullying the good press Aztechnology usually enjoys with the masses, leading to painful UN sanctions that still affect us all to this day (ever wonder why the price of soycaf went up? This is why.) But in the end, Aztechnology’s PR branch won out, because when you can trumpet the defeat of a Great Dragon, it’s pretty easy to get the people on your side.
The fact that Horizon couldn’t find any real evidence and had to trump up their charges instead - and that AZ could prove that - didn’t hurt either.
Sirrug. The Destroyer. A dragon so powerful he almost single-handedly crippled the Aztlan military and turned what might have been a brief border-conflict into an all-out guerrilla war - and the first Great Dragon since the alleged death of Feuerschwinge to be felled by metahumanity (perhaps the actual first, if some of the whispers I hear in the shadows are true.)
Sure, there were some border changes (the Free City of Bogota is no longer quite so free, Aztlan enjoys a few hundred kilometres more of Amazonian jungle, and Aztlan Texas belongs to the Pueblos now, giving Aztlan only one northern neighbour instead of two), but Sirrug’s the major fallout of the war, the big takeaway - the Great Dragons might actually be killable. Now, there’s debate over whether Sirrug is actually dead - his body was never retrieved - but he has not been seen since, and was at the very least severely wounded.
Aztlan may possess the technology to rival the Great Dragons themselves, and that’s going to have lasting effect on the world.

There Has Never Been a Story of More Woe, Than This of JuL33T and her MEO
Tragedy! No one was able to get ahold of MEO and the worst has happened. Ancient Street Sam JuL33T, it turns out hadn’t died, but had taken a dose of Slab, insiders tell me that she has secretly married Chula MEO and used the Slab to fake her death and get out the gang life and set up a new happy-ever-after with MEO somewhere else. But MEO never got the message. He went to see her body, resplendent in her armor, chromed up cyber and katanas. There, holding her hand, MEO took the dose of Seven-7 he bought from you-know-who. He died immediately. But according to my insider, it wasn’t much longer after that JuL33T’s Slap wore off. Seeing MEO slain, she took her own life with the katana she was never without.
This tragedy could have been avoided. We need to stop the gang hostility in Puyallup.

Horizon Kidnapping Technomancers
It seems that Horizon is at it again! Sources report that the Megacorp had been holding some Technomancers prisoner in the Metroplex biodome. These Technomancers were able to escape from their harrowing ordeal and make it to safety. Sources say that Horizon, in a fit of corruptions, bad sportsmanship, and the way they are prone to coverups, have been trying to deflect attention away from their unethical and illegal behavior onto some shadowrunners who, last I heard, were visiting family in Europe. Don’t let Horizon deflect! Demand to know if they are continuing their abuse of Technomancers!

10 Most Shocking And Controversial Scandals Involving These Bollywood Stars We Bet You Didn’t Know About
Everyone knows it, hears about it but still no one speaks up and if someone tries too then that person is restrained. Well, Bollywood has always been blamed for being affected by casting-couch syndrome and there are many stories in which powerful and renowned people in the industry ask for sexual favors from a newcomer irrespective of the gender. However, in past few years, several Bollywood actors such as Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte, Kalki Koechlin, and Sameera Reddy had revealed that they had been victim to the casting couch and have even shared their experiences.Meanwhile, we can’t put full blame on Bollywood itself as it seems that the problem is prevalent in Hollywood and also in different parts of the world which is proved after the beginning of a Me Too movement. To the uninitiated, MeToo , is a movement against sexual harassment and sexual assault which had spread virally in October 2017 as a hashtag used on social media platforms with an objective of demonstrating the widespread prevalence of sexual harassment.Tarana Burke, a social activist had started this movement in 2006 while actress Alyssa Milano took the initiative to encourage the movement with a hastag #MeToo in 2017.Talking about the B-town stars, it was very shocking to know that these actors and popular celebrities were involved in Extramarital affairs, casting couches, and MMS clips. While some escaped others saw their careers get ruined. Now, we would like to share some undisclosed dark secrets, and scandals related to these Bollywood stars.1. Bipasha BasuBipasha Basu who is popular for her roles in Raaz and Jism, got into a controversy when a tape featuring some lewd conversations Basu and politician Amar Singh was leaked. However, the actress denied that the voice in the tape was hers. Well, the controversy had affected her image in the industry and since then she is losing her charm in Bollywood. Her last movie  Alone had released in 2015.📷2. Aditya PancholiAditya Pancholi who had won  Best Performance in a Negative Role for Yes Boss (1997) and had worked with Salman Khan in Bodyguard was also rumoured to be a part of such horrendous act. Well, the actor was charged with raping Pooja Bedi’s fifteen-year-old maid while he was dating her. Later,  he was accused of physically abusing popular Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut with whom he had an extra-marital affair.📷3. Ashmit Patel-Riya SenAshmit Patel who part of the 4th season of the Indian television reality show Bigg Boss lost all his reputation when an MMS clip featuring him and actress Riya Sen in an intimate act went viral. While most stars usually deny such acts, Ashmit accepted that the clip was genuine. After starting his career as an assistant director in movies such as Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage (2002), Awara Paagal Deewana (2002), Raaz (2002) and Footpath (2003), he lost everything, unfortunately.📷4. Aman VermaPopular TV personality Aman Verma who has worked in TV soaps such as  Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and  Indian Idol 1 left everyone shocked when he was caught in a sting operation. Well, his career ended when his video of asking for a sexual favour with a newbie in exchange of a role went viral. In the sting operation which was aired on India TV in March 2005, Verma was begging Suhaib Ilyasi to remove his footage from the sting operation.📷5. Shiney AhujaFilmfare Best Male Debut Award for Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi in 2005, no one would have thought that Shiney Ahuja would end up nowhere in the industry. Further, he was even praised for his performance in movies such as  Gangster, Life in a metro, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa. In 2009, his career in Bollywood was over after he was accused of rape, by his maid. However, in court, the maid had withdrawn the charge she had laid against the actor and stated that the act of sex had been consensual. Meanwhile, the trial court judge refused to accept the retraction and convicted Ahuja based on circumstantial evidence.
