The evening sun cast a warm glow over the old farmhouse, its light filtering through the trees as you stood on the wraparound porch, watching the gravel road that wound its way up to your front yard. It had been three long weeks since Tyler left for what was meant to be a five-day chase on the Oklahoma-Kansas border.
But mother nature had her own ideas. One storm led to another, each one calling him further away. You understoodâyou always did. The storms had a pull on him that youâd long accepted was part of who he was. But after nearly a month, you were ready to have him back home.
Just as the sun dipped below the trees, you finally heard the familiar rumble of his truck. You stepped down off the porch, watching as he rolled up the drive, your heart quickening at the sight. Standing there in your sundress, the light breeze lifted the hem, just enough to make you shiver with anticipation.
The truck came to a stop, and you could see him through the windshield, his face breaking into a tired, relieved smile. The second his Ariat boots hit the dirt, you were already running. Gravel crunched under your feet as you made your way to him, and by the time you reached him, he had his arms wide open, ready to catch you.
When you collided with him, he wrapped his arms around you and lifted you right off the ground, holding you tight. You buried your face into his shoulder, breathing him inâthe scent of rain, dust, and something unmistakably Tyler. He held you close, his hands pressed against your back, and his face nestled into the curve of your neck.
âMissed you,â he murmured, his voice a low rasp, roughened by days on the road and nights spent under open skies.
âI missed you more than I could say,â you whispered back, your fingers finding their way into his messy, damp hair still wet from the rain, your touch lingering just a little longer than usual. Tyler pulled back just enough to meet your eyes, his hand reaching up to brush a loose strand of hair from your face.
âNothing like coming home to you, darlinâ,â he said softly, his thumb gently tracing your cheek. His gaze held yours, and for a moment, the pull of the storms, the long roads, the endless milesânone of it mattered. He was here. He was home.
As you stayed wrapped in Tylerâs embrace, he leaned down, his eyes searching yours before he began to close the distance between you, his lips brushing just above your own. It was a kiss heâd been wanting to give you since he left, the kind that lingered in his mind during the long nights on the road.
But just as you felt the warmth of his breath against your skin, a loud, familiar honk echoed from down the driveway, breaking the moment. You both turned, and there it wasâBooneâs beat-up old gray van lumbering up the gravel road, rattling with each bump.
Tyler let out a soft sigh, a sheepish grin spreading across his own face. He cast you a guilty look as Boone leaned out the window, giving a cheerful wave in your direction.
You couldnât help but laugh, shaking your head as you looked back up at Tyler. âLet me guessâBooneâs crashing here tonight?â You asked, your tone half-resigned, half-amused.
Tyler nodded, running a hand through his hair. âYeah, he was getting pretty tired, and I didnât want him driving another hour and fifteen back to his place. Figured heâd be safer here for the night.â
You smiled, already used to the unplanned sleepovers with your husbandâs best friend after a chase. Youâd long since accepted that Boone came with the package, his loyalty to Tyler as steadfast as the storms they chased together.
Reaching up, you gave Tyler a quick kiss. âIâll go get the guest room ready,â you said, giving his hand a gentle squeeze before you turned to head inside.
As you made your way up the steps and into the house, you glanced back one last time, watching as Boone pulled his van to a stop and hopped out, a broad grin lighting up his face. Tyler threw an arm around his friendâs shoulders, giving him a tired but grateful smile. They both looked exhausted, faces lined with the grit and weariness of the chase, but there was a familiar, easy camaraderie between them that filled you with a sense of warmth and belonging. This was homeâstorm chases, unplanned guests, and all.
You finished setting up the guest room, smoothing the last pillow with a satisfied sigh, then made your way to the kitchen. You knew both Tyler and Boone would be hungry after their long drive, so you started gathering ingredients, setting up a simple but hearty meal for the three of you. Before long, you hear their voices and footsteps coming in from the hallway.
Boone was the first to enter the kitchen, and he wasted no time pulling you into one of his signature bone-crushing hugs, lifting you a little off the ground as he did. You laughed, patting his shoulder as he set you down, his wide grin lighting up his tired face.
âThanks for letting me crash here,â Boone said, his voice warm and genuine.
You waved him off with a smile. âYou know youâre always welcome, Boone. This is as much your home as it is ours.â
Tyler stood leaning against the door frame, watching the two of you with a soft smile, his eyes filled with a mixture of warmth and contentment. You met his gaze, feeling a little flutter in your chest at the sight of him finally home.
Turning your attention back to the both of them, you raised an eyebrow. âNow, both of youâgo get cleaned up before dinner,â you said, putting a little mock authority into your tone. You glanced over at Tyler, adding, âAnd maybe start a load of laundry while youâre at it?â
He chuckled, giving you an affectionate look as he straightened up. âYes, darlinâ,â he replied with a little smirk, his drawl making the words linger in the air just a second longer.
You shook your head, unable to hold back a grin as they both headed out, playfully shoving each other on their way down the hall. As you listened to their banter echo through the house, you felt a deep sense of contentment. This was your lifeâthe two of them laughing, storm-chasing stories filling the house, and the simple, comforting rhythm of having them both here.
You turned back to the stove, adding a pinch more seasoning to the pot, your heart swelling with gratitude for this beautiful, chaotic, wonderfully imperfect life youâd built together.
Dinner was filled with laughter and stories, the kind of easy conversation that felt like second nature whenever Boone was around. He launched into tales from the latest chaseâdodging hail the size of baseballs, back roads turned rivers, and one storm that had them racing to outrun a flash flood.
You listened with wide eyes, sharing glances with Tyler, who filled in the parts Boone missed or skipped, adding his own dry humor to the mix.
When youâd finally finished, Boone stretched his arms over his head, letting out a satisfied sigh. âNothing like a home-cooked meal. Youâre the best,â he said, sending you a grateful grin.
âWell, in that case,â Tyler said, pushing his chair back and standing up, âYou can help me clean up since the missus did all the cooking.â
Boone groaned, rolling his eyes as he reluctantly got to his feet. âAlright, alright.â He gave you a playful, mock glare. âIf heâs only making me help to impress you, just say the word and Iâll put my foot down.â
You chuckled, watching them banter as they cleared the dishes, your heart warming at the scene. It was these little momentsâthe laughter, the sense of familyâthat made this place feel like home.
Once everything was clean and put away the three of you settled into the living room, each finding a comfortable spot to unwind. You curled up next to Tyler on the couch, his arm wrapped around your shoulders, pulling you close as you leaned your head against his chest. Boone sprawled out on the love seat across from you, his feet kicked up, looking like he could fall asleep right there.
For awhile, you all just sat in a comfortable silence, the soft murmur of the evening settling around you. Every now and then, Tylerâs hand traced gentle circles on your shoulder, his touch soothing and familiar. Booneâs eyes dropped as he stifled a yawn, and you felt your own eyelids growing heavy.
Tyler gave your shoulder a gentle squeeze. âWhat do you say we call it a night?â he murmured, his voice warm and drowsy.
You nodded, giving Boone a teasing smile. âGuest roomâs ready for you already.â
Boone nodded, already halfway to sleep himself. âThanks again, you two,â he mumbled, eyes barely open as he pushed himself up from the love seat.
You and Tyler stood up, and as he slid his hand into yours, you felt that familiar sense of peace wash over you. Together, you made your way to your bedroom, a content smile playing on your lips.
As you and Tyler made your way into the bedroom, he reached behind him, and you heard the quiet click of the door lock turning. You raised an eyebrow, giving him a curious look that was met with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
âWhatâs with the lock?â you whispered, half-amused, half-intrigued.
He leaned in, his lips brushing your ear as he murmured, âI donât want any interruptions.â And with that, his lips found yours, warm and familiar, as his hand slipped around your waist, pulling you closer.
You felt your pulse quicken as you melted into his kiss, but after a moment, you gently pulled back, your lips curving into a teasing smile. âWhat exactly do you think Booneâs going to interrupt?â
Tylerâs grin was equal parts playful and filled with that telltale spark. He didnât even need to say it; the look in his eyes was answer enough. After three weeks on the road, you knew what was on his mind. His gaze lingered on yours, his fingers tracing a slow, familiar path along your back.
âWell,â he drawled, his voice low and filled with a hint of a challenge, âI havenât seen my wife in three weeks. I figured Iâd make up for lost time⌠unless you have any objections?â
You shook your head, a grin spreading across your face as you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him close.Â
âNo objections here,â you whispered, your heart racing as he leaned down, capturing your lips again in a kiss that held all the longing and love that had built up during his time away.
Tylerâs hands found your waist as he lifted you up, guiding you back onto the bed, his body settling over yours as he leaned down, trailing a line of warm kisses along your jaw. His lips moved slowly, lingering, his breath hot against your skin as he made his way down to the curve of your neck. You felt him pause, then felt the light graze of his teeth against your pulse point, followed by a gentle bite that sent a shiver racing through you. He didnât stop thereâhis mouth lingered, and then you felt the heat of his lips as he began to suck, each movement drawing out a soft moan that escaped before you could stop it.
Tyler grinned against your skin, pulling back just enough to look into your eyes, amusement and warmth in his gaze.Â
âNow, darlinâ, Iâm gonna need you to be quiet,â he murmured, his voice low and teasing. âOr I might have to slow down, and I donât think either of us wants that.â
A needy whine escaped your lips, and you could feel his grin widen as he leaned in, his mouth finding yours again as he deepened the kiss, his hands beginning to roam, each touch unhurried but filled with purpose.Â
Tylerâs mouth traveled down the curve of your neck, each kiss deliberate, savoring, as his hands moved along your sides, lingering in ways he knew would drive you crazy. You arched into him, but just as you were about to lose yourself completely, he paused, his lips hovering near your ear, a mischievous smile in his voice.
âThink you can keep quiet, sweetheart?â he murmured, his tone playful but laced with that challenge. âBecause if you donât, I might have to stop.â He lifted his head to meet your gaze, his eyes sparkling with a mix of mischief and desire.
You narrowed your eyes at him, giving him a defiant look. The idea of him stopping now, after waiting so long to have him this close, was unthinkable, and he knew it.Â
âTyler,â you warned, a quiet plea slipping into your voice, but he just chuckled softly, leaning in to press a slow kiss to the corner of your mouth.
âI mean it,â he teased, his hands sliding lower, skimming your skin with agonizing patience. âOne sound too loud, and thatâs it.â
A breathy whine escaped your lips, and he gave you a playful look, bringing his lips to your neck again, grazing your skin just hard enough to send a shiver through you. His mouth traveled downward, his touch achingly familiar and yet new all over again, a reminder of how deeply he knew every part of you. Every place he touched, every kiss he pressed, was calculated to tease, to push you closer to the edge while keeping you grounded.
Your fingers tangled into his hair, trying to pull him closer, to get more, but he resisted, his movements slow, torturous, his grin widening as he felt you tense beneath him, fighting to stay quiet. It was almost too much, the way he knew exactly where to touch, exactly what you loved, and every second of it made it harder not to break his rule. And he knew it.
âGood girl,â he whispered, his voice a low murmur as he continued, his words as much a promise as a praise.
Tylerâs hands moved down, his fingers finding the hem of your sundress. With a slow, deliberate movement, he pushed the fabric up, revealing more of your skin as he went, his eyes darkening as he took in the sight of you beneath him. A warm smile curved across his face as he leaned down, pressing a tender kiss just above your hip.
âYouâre so beautiful,â he murmured, his voice thick with affection. âAll I could think about while I was gone⌠was this. Being right here.â His fingers hooked into the waistband of your panties, his gaze meeting yours as he slowly pulled them down, a reverence in his touch as he discarded them.
He settled himself between your legs, his hands warm on your thighs as he leaned in closer, his breath brushing your skin and sending a thrill through you.Â
âI missed you,â he whispered, his words trailing down your skin, each syllable a reminder of how long heâd been waiting for this.
Then, his mouth finally met your core, a single, slow stroke of his tongue that pulled a soft, breathless moan from you. You quickly brought your hand to your mouth, fighting to keep quiet, but the intensity of his touch made it almost impossible. Tyler grinned against you, clearly pleased with the reaction he was drawing out, his voice a husky murmur against your skin.
âThree weeks without my touch, huh?â he teased softly, his tone low and teasing as he continued his slow, tantalizing movements. âThink you can stay quiet, or is that going to be too much of a challenge?â
You managed a small nod, but Tylerâs knowing look said he wasnât convinced. And as his mouth worked against you with an achingly steady rhythm, he glanced up, his voice a gentle, breathless whisper.Â
âTell me⌠did you touch yourself like this while I was gone?â His words sent another wave of heat through you, and you could barely meet his gaze as you shook your head.
âI thought about it,â you admitted softly, your voice barely a whisper. âBut I knew it wouldnât be the same. Nothing compares to you.â
âGood girl,â he murmured, his words almost reverent as he continued, making sure you felt every second of his touch, each one more intense than the last.
Tylerâs movements grew more intense as he expertly brought you closer, his mouth working with such precision and care, knowing exactly how to drive you wild. The pressure inside you built, the tension curling tighter and tighter until you couldnât hold it anymore. Your body trembled beneath him, and your legs began to shake, an overwhelming wave of pleasure surging through you.
As you fought to keep quiet, Tylerâs lips found yours, his kiss deep and urgent, pulling the sounds from your throat as you finally lost control. The orgasm rippled through you, intense and overwhelming, and Tyler kissed you even harder, his mouth a soothing balm against the cries you couldnât help but let out.
His hands gripped your hips to steady you as the waves of pleasure washed over you, his kiss keeping your moans muffled as your body shook in his arms. When the tremors began to subside, Tyler didnât pull away immediately. Instead, he stayed close, his lips still pressed to yours, as if he wanted to share that moment with you, to hold you in it just a little longer.
You could barely catch your breath, your chest heaving as you pulled away slightly, your eyes meeting his. Tylerâs face was flushed, his own breath ragged, a satisfied grin playing at the corners of his lips.
âThat was⌠amazing,â you whispered, still trying to steady your breath, the lingering heat of your orgasm still pulsing through you. Tylerâs grin widened, and he kissed you again, soft and tender this time, his hand gently brushing through your hair as he pulled back slightly.
âIâve been thinking about that for weeks,â he muttered, his voice low and full of warmth as he settled beside you, pulling you into his arms. âAnd now Iâm not letting you go.â
You smiled against his chest, the comforting weight of him beside you soothing, but you knew this wasnât over. Not by a long shot.
Tylerâs hands slowly started to undress himself, the familiar pull of his shirt over his head, the slow unbuckling of his belt, all of it a teasing promise of what was to come. His eyes never left yours as he undid each button, each motion deliberate, as if he wanted to savor every second. You watched him, feeling the heat rise within you once more at the sight of his strong, familiar form, the taut muscles of his chest and arms, the rough edges of his hands that always seemed to know exactly how to touch you.
Once he was fully undressed, Tyler crawled onto the bed, his movements slow and purposeful. He leaned down, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to your lips, tasting the sweetness of you as he took his time, letting the moment stretch between you before he pulled away.
He settled back against the pillows, his gaze intense and hungry, his breath coming in soft, controlled bursts. âTonight, I want to watch you,â he said, his voice hushed with desire. âI want to watch you ride me.â
A grin spread across your face, a mix of excitement and confidence filling you. Youâd missed this, missed the connection between you, the way Tyler made you feel powerful and wanted all at once. Without a word, you swung your leg over him, positioning yourself above him as you straddled him, your body hovering just above his. Tylerâs eyes never left yours, watching the way your body shifted, the way you controlled the movement.
You could feel the heat of him beneath you, the undeniable tension building between you. With a slow, teasing motion, you lowered yourself onto him, feeling the stretch, the way he filled you, and Tyler groaned beneath you, his hands gripping the sheets.
The slow rhythm of your movements began, your hips rocking against him as you took the lead, the feel of his body beneath yours setting you both on fire. Tylerâs hands found your waist, guiding you, his eyes dark and full of admiration as he watched you. The room filled with the sound of your breath, the soft slick of skin against skin, and the rhythmic sounds of your bodies moving together.
Tylerâs voice broke through the air, low and gravelly, âYouâre incredible,â he whispered, his hands trailing up your sides, pulling you closer to him as the pace quickened.
You leaned down, your lips brushing against his, the intensity of your movements growing, the feeling of him filling you driving you to the edge. Every moment, every touch felt electric, and you knew you wouldnât last much longer.
Your breath was ragged, your body moving with a rhythm that had you teetering on the edge. You leaned down slightly, your lips brushing against Tylerâs ear as you whispered, âIâm closeâŚâ
The words were all it took. Tylerâs hands gripped your hips, guiding you with a new intensity, his movements matching yours in perfect harmony. The tension in the air between you both built to a peak, the connection between you undeniable.
And then it hit, both of you, at the same time. The world seemed to freeze for a moment as you both reached the height of your pleasure. You clung to each other, your body trembling as waves of sensation crashed over you. Tylerâs arms wrapped around you, holding you close as you collapsed, your head resting gently against his chest.
Your breathing slowed, the rapid rise and fall of your chest easing as you melted into him. His hands stroked your back tenderly, comforting you as the last remnants of the high faded. The only sound now was the steady beat of his heart beneath your ear and his own soft, steadying breath.
Tylerâs voice was a murmur above you, a low sound of contentment. âYouâre incredible,â he whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead.
You smiled against his skin, feeling his warmth surrounding you, and for a moment, everything felt perfectly right.
The next morning, you and Tyler made your way downstairs, the soft creak of the stairs underfoot a comforting sound in the quiet of the house. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee drifted through the air, and you could already feel the warmth of the day starting to seep into the home.
As you passed the living room, your eyes caught a familiar sightâBoone, curled up on the couch, the blankets half off and a pillow clutched to his chest. You stopped in your tracks, both you and Tyler exchanging a puzzled glance.
âIs that Boone?â you whispered, unsure of what to make of the scene.
âGuess so,â Tyler murmured back, a grin tugging at the corner of his lips as he took a few steps closer to his best friend.
You both approached quietly, but the rustling of your footsteps woke Boone. He blinked, slowly coming to his senses as he looked up at the two of you. A lazy grin appeared on his face when he saw the confusion written on yours.
âWhat are you doing down here?â Tyler asked, crossing his arms over his chest, a mischievous gleam in his eyes.
Boone stretched his arms out, yawning exaggeratedly, before answering, âCouldnât sleep with all the... noises coming from your room last night,â he said, his voice still thick with sleep.
You felt your cheeks heat up instantly, the blood rushing to your face as embarrassment flushed through you. Tyler, on the other hand, looked entirely too pleased with himself, his grin widening into a proud smirk.
You kept walking toward the kitchen, trying to ignore the heat flooding your face, but Booneâs words echoed in your mind.
Once you were out of earshot and in the quiet safety of the kitchen, you muttered, still trying to steady your breath. âI canât believe Boone heard us last night.â
Tyler let out a low chuckle as he leaned against the doorframe, crossing his arms and giving you that smug look you knew all too well. âStaying quiet never was your strong suit, was it?â
You shot him an exasperated look, the blush on your cheeks still burning. âYou didnât exactly help with that, you know.â
Tyler just shrugged, his grin never fading as he reached for the coffee pot. âIâve got no problem with it,â he said with a wink, clearly enjoying your discomfort far more than he should.
You sighed and tried to hide your face in your hands for a moment, still feeling the heat creeping up your neck. Despite your embarrassment, you couldnât help but feel a little bit amused by the whole situation. This was just another funny story to add to the list of things that made life with Tylerâand Booneâso unexpectedly entertaining.
Tyler must have noticed the way you were still flushed, so he stepped toward you, his grin softening into something more affectionate. He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into a tight, comforting hug, pressing a kiss to your forehead.Â
âHey, itâs okay,â he murmured, his voice warm and soothing despite the amusement still dancing in his eyes. âBooneâs not gonna care.â
You melted into him, taking in the comfort of his embrace, your embarrassment slowly fading away. âI still canât believe it,â you muttered into his chest, feeling safe in his arms.
Tyler chuckled, pulling back just enough to look down at you. âI love that I can still make you blush,â he teased, his fingers brushing a stray strand of hair from your face.
You couldnât help but smile, the closeness of the moment taking the sting out of your earlier discomfort. âYouâre impossible, you know that?â
âBut you love me anyway,â he grinned, giving you a quick peck on the lips before pulling you toward the kitchen counter.
You shook your head, laughing softly, and the rest of the morning seemed a little lighter, your embarrassment forgotten in the warmth of Tylerâs presence.

Silver Tongue || Satoru Gojo
â synopsis: after losing a bet to geto, gojo has to go get a piercing of getoâs choice, but this was far from a punishment; you were his piercer, and one thing sure leads to another when dealing with someone with a silver tongue like gojo
â content/warnings: piercer!reader x gojo, smut, fluff, oral (f. receiving), semi-public, unprotected sex, p in v, fingering, masturabation, needles (?), pet names, dirty talk, mutual pining, flirting
â a/n: bra i saw this random mf on tiktok with a tongue piercing and decided my beautiful man should have one as well. enjoy <3!
ËË°â˘*ââˇ Ë ËË°â˘*â⡠ËMINORS DNI ËË°â˘*ââˇ Ë ËË°â˘*â⡠Ë
Geto and Gojo have been friends for a really long time. Their dynamic is a chaotic one, but it works for them just fine. It is not uncommon for the 2 to go out a lot, but what is uncommon is Gojo losing bets. Gojo was cocky, yeah, but he had a reason to be; he was the kind of guy to be good at what he tried his hand at no matter what, often leaving Geto amused by trying to figure out what it was he couldnât do.
Turns out, Gojoâs biggest enemy was his very own ego. After a long day of doing random physical activities, Geto challenged Gojo to a simple race. Of course, Gojo was fatigued but he let his ego take the best of him, and thus accepted Getoâs challenge.
âBut,â Geto added, âif I win, youâre getting a piercing. Of my choice.â
âSo then if I win, youâre getting my initials tattooed on your arm,â Gojo said cheekily, trying to think of the stupidest font to request at the tattoo shop.
âYouâre so on,â Geto replied. And with that, they had a race. But much to Gojoâs dismay and Getoâs amusement (or rather, amazement?), the former lost.
That is how the pair found themselves at 1 a.m. at the door of the tattoo shop you worked at. You were a great tattoo artist and piercer, but since you were still in college you were often given later shifts, which allowed you to meet interesting characters, this duo being one of them.
You were sitting at the counter working on some new designs when you heard the door open, and once you looked up you made eye contact with the deepest cerulean eyes you had ever seen. Unaware that you were starring, you got startled once the man next to him spoke to you.
âHey there Y/n, nice to meet ya,â said the black-haired male, looking at your name tag, startling partly because you were in a trance watching the white-haired guy next to him, and partly because his voice was oddly⌠sultry.
âHi, whatcha thinking of getting today?â You ask him, eyeing his piercings.
âWell the thing is weâre not here for me today, though I may come back; weâre here for him,â he smiled, gesturing towards the guy that had you in a trance.
âYeahâŚ. Iâm getting a piercing today,â he said, looking deep into your eyes.
You swallow before replying. âSo then, what piercing would you like?â
âWhatâs popular with girls these days?â He says smirking.
The black-haired guy laughs, slapping him in the back. âYouâre so dumb,â he manages to get out between laughs.
âWell,â you paused, genuinely trying to answer his question, âIâve seen a lot of girls go crazy for some eyebrow and nose piercings. You could also get traditional earrings of course, theyâre always good starter piercing.â
âI donât know if I want it to be so apparent though⌠but I like the eyebrow piercing suggesting,â he responds, deep in thought.
âNot too quick Satoru, remember our bet: I get to choose your piercing,â he cuts quick, looking at Satoru.
âOh⌠Bring it on then, I could rock anything,â he laughed, his pride shining through.
âYouâre so damn cocky, Iâd like to shut you up⌠actually, yes, Iâll shut you up,â he then turns to you, âheâll be getting a tongue piercing tonight,â he says, decidedly.
âI hope youâre not a foodie then,â you say amused, catching on the dynamic between the two.
âSuguru,â he cries, âyou KNOW this wonât end well.â
âWell thatâs part of the point isnât it?â He smiles softly, his angelic tone just making it funnier.
âWell, Iâll start setting up my station,â you say, looking through a couple of drawers until you find tongue jewelry. âWhile I set up, pick one of these, I recommend the first 3 at the top, theyâre nicer while youâre healing.â
As soon as you leave, Satoru starts looking through the selection of piercings. Pills, dice, even a marijuana leaf, and he giggles, but in the end, he does take up on your recommendation and chooses a simple, silver stud.
âI canât wait to hear you speak after this,â Geto says.
âOh shut up,â he replies.
âReady! Please come over here,â you shout from your station, putting your gloves on.
âComing!â Said Satoru, and as he started walking Geto followed.
As he sits down on the chair, he shows you the piercing he chose.
âI see you took on my recommendation,â you say looking at him and smiling, and Satoru felt his heart flutter.
âY-Yeah, I did,â he replied, trying to hide how flustered he was.
âYou nervous?â You ask, catching on to his stutters.
âYou could say that,â he laughs, happy he could cover it up so easily.
And sure, maybe to you he could, but not to Geto. He quickly caught on the fact that Gojo was flustered because of you. Having known the guy for years, he knew how he reacted to injuries, danger, and even needles, and he never gets flustered, no. Heâs also seen him around girls he finds attractive, and while Satoru is able to talk to them, he does get flustered at first. How adorable.
âYeah, heâs scared alright,â Geto says, teasing Satoru.
âDonât worry! Tongue piercings arenât typically the most hurtful ones. Of course, it varies from person to person, but having pierced and heard from several people about them, theyâre not terrible,â you say reassuringly.
What an angel, Satoru thinks. Though heâd never admit it to Suguru, he was starting to be glad he got him in this predicament. You were so cute, so sweet trying to make him feel better, and he couldnât help but notice the piercings and tattoos that adorned your beautiful body. He wondered if there were other masterpieces hidden under your clothes.
Trying not to pry on it too much, he watched you get a marker and come close to him, so close he could smell your sweet scent. Shit, maybe looking at you could be my anesthesia, he thought.
âAlright then! Please take out your tongue, I need to mark the spot where Iâll pierce,â you say.
âWell then,â he says, taking his tongue out. Getting a funny feeling as you mark his skin, he tries not to giggle in fear itâd mess up your work.
You pull away and then put a mirror so he can look at his face. âDo you like how it looks there? Or would you want it someplace else?â
âThat looks perfect, letâs do it,â he says.
âGreat! Then sit while I get my stuff,â you say.
âWhatâs your name again?â You ask.
âYou can call me Gojo,â he replies.
âOk Gojo, Take a deep breath in,â you say, and as he does so, you put the needle through his tongue, âthen breathe out,â once again, he obediently breathes out, relieved in the little pain he actually felt. This is when you actually put the jewelry in.
âNow Iâm just securing the stud. And there ya go, take a look,â you say, bringing the mirror back.
âWow,â he says, surprised at how much he actually liked the piercing.
âThereâs some fun piercings you can put in once it heals, but make sure youâre taking care of it correctly,â you say, and then begin to explain the care process for the piercing.
As you 3 move back out to the checkout counter, you recommend some products to Gojo for whatever he may need. You also say heâs welcome to come back if he feels uncomfortable in any way.
âOr if youâre a busy man, hereâs my phone number,â you say boldly, hoping itâs not obvious how attracted you were to him, âlet me know if you have any questions as it heals!â
âThank you Y/n, Iâll let you know if anything happens,â he smiles as he takes the paper with your number, automatically taking out his phone and putting the contact in.
âAlright then, ready to survive off ice cream for a while?â Geto asks.
âSounds like a sweet deal,â Gojo replies smiling.
âPleasure to meet you,â you say as they walk out.
âThe pleasure was mine sweetheart,â Gojo replies, finding the courage from his new piercing, and luckily for you he turns around, because youâre left as red as a tomato.
As him and Geto walk out, you wonder whether heâll text you with more than just questions about the piercing. Sheepishly, you go back to your station and clean it up, relishing on the faint smell of Gojoâs cologne that stayed behind.
ËË°â˘*ââˇ Ë ËË°â˘*ââˇ Ë ËË°â˘*ââˇ Ë ËË°â˘*ââˇ Ë ËË°â˘*â⡠Ë
While youâre sitting on the train on the home, you get a text from an unknown number:
đŹ Unknown: so what did you say helped with swelling again?
đŹ Unknown: itâs gojo btw đ
You smile. As you type up your recommendations and add him to your contacts, admittedly wanting to see him again. So then, conveniently of course, you ask for a contact picture.
đŹ You: mind sending me a contact pic?
đŹ Gojo đ
: [IMG]
The picture was of him taking his tongue out playfully, showing off the jewelry you had just given him. His cerulean eyes peeked through his round sunglasses, and with that you got flustered yet again, which was ridiculous: to think you had pierced nipples, tattooed in places where sunlight doesnât quite reach, and youâre flustered over a normal selfie?
đŹ Gojo đ
: you did me justice
đŹ You: i think any piercing wouldâve worked just fine đ
And on the other side of the screen, it was now Gojo who was flustered at your words. Unknowingly, for the same reason as you, he asked for a contact picture. Bringing out your holder side, you take a selfie from an angle that shows many of your attributes, and Gojo isnât immune to your charm. As he updates your contact, he can feel the blood rushing to his cheeks⌠and his dick.
He quickly realizes it was going to be a restless night, or rather, morning? The clock marked 3 oâclock, and whilst the world outside his room was silent, it was easy to fantasize of what itâd be like to have you there with him.
Squeezing his tip through his underwear, he thinks back to your pretty face, so focused and so close to his as you pierced his tongue. He wonders what itâd look like covered in his cum: would you lick it up? Would you clean it with your fingers? Would you make him clean it up for you?
The more he thinks of you, the hornier he gets. Taking his hardened cock out from his underwear, he starts thinking of what heâd do to you. Oh, what he wouldnât give to see your body before him right now. Is there any piercings he didnât catch on you having? Tattoos? Would you like him to kiss those on you? Maybe even lick them? You would probably taste so sweet, yeah, as sweet as you smell or as sweet as you sound.
At this point, heâs fisting himself quickly, massaging his balls every now and then, soon to reach his release. He remembers your sweet voice saying his surname, your laugh as you watched him and Suguruâs banter, and your beautiful eyes looking at him. With that, he came all over his hand, deciding he had to see you soon.
ËË°â˘*ââˇ Ë ËË°â˘*ââˇ Ë ËË°â˘*ââˇ Ë ËË°â˘*ââˇ Ë ËË°â˘*â⡠Ë
As the days passed, you and Gojo texted more and more. Your conversations always started with a silly question about the piercing from him, and from then on it would range from your favorite subjects to trips you have made and your favorite foods. You found yourself crushing hard on Gojo, taking little notes of the things he liked and wanted to do, and trying to gather up the courage to ask him to hangout.
Lucky for you, he had been feeling the same, except he was bolder than you, and thus, he asked first.
đŹ Gojo đ
: y/nnnnn
đŹ Gojo đ
: you free tonight??
đŹ Gojo đ
: thereâs this place i wanted to check out near your job, so maybe before you start your shift we could go?
You were ecstatic. Quickly confirming that you were down, you get dressed and head out for the door. Reaching your meet-up spot, you anxiously wait for Gojo. To calm your nerves down, you scroll through TikTok and find yourself laughing at the stupidest videos. Not noticing a tall presence behind you, Gojo decides to surprise you, crouching down to your level to whisper in your ear.
âWhatâs so funny, doll?â He asks, completely scaring you.
âGojo! Dont sneak up on me like that again,â you say, relieved that itâs him and not a weirdo, and he laughs at your scared state.
âBut whereâs the fun in that?â He asks cheekily, and then he begins walking to the place he wanted to go.
You two chitchat nonstop on the way there. You had nurtured a sweet friendship in the little time you guys had known each other. You really appreciated how funny Gojo was, telling you things that made you wonder just how his mind worked. There truly was never a dull moment between the two of you. The more you knew him, the more into him you became. Sometimes you could feel the tension between the two of you, walking together while your hands brushed against each other, him asking you to check on his piercing often and you having to get so close to his handsome face, and other things like that which gave your stomach butterflies.
After eating at that new restaurant, you suddenly remembered that Gojoâs piercing was now fully healed, and knowing his spontaneous nature, you suggested that he get it changed, just to switch it up a bit.
âReally? What would you suggest, youâre the professional after all,â he says while smiling at you.
âWell, we could go back to the shop and I could show you a couple of cool ones, we got a new batch this week,â you replied, thinking already of which he would like.
âSounds like a plan,â he says, and after that you two head into the store.
It wasnât open on Mondays, but given that your manager really trusted you, you had a copy of the keys to the store. Rushing into the shop before other people noticed, you and Gojo get settled in the quiet store. As he waits there looking around the things you had on display, you look for the drawer with tongue jewelry once again, reminding you of the night you met. Smiling softly to yourself, you pull a drawer out and bring it on the counter, the noise of you setting it down catching Gojoâs attention.
He steps closer to it and starts looking through the collection you have. Giggling once he reached the marijuana one again, he asks for the one you like most.
âWell, if Iâm being honest the one you have right now is one of my favorite, you can never go wrong with a traditional silver stud. Now, I remember you wanted something to impress girls yeah?â You ask jokingly, and he blushes a little at the fact that you remembered him telling you that when you met.
âIn that case, then you should definitely check this one out,â you say as you point to one that looked sort of like a hammer.
âWhatâs special about that one? It kind of looks like the pill one you got over there,â he asks curiously.
âWhile this one may look like just a little âpillâ to you, it is a vibrator piercing,â you say a little flustered, realizing how intimate it was after you said it out loud.
âOh,â he says, now looking intently at you.
âYeah, I donât really know if youâre an eater or anything,â you joke, trying to bring up the mood, but you notice it only made the atmosphere grow thicker, so you continue, âbut this one can really take things up a notch when youâre down there hehe.â
âIâd like to say my head game is strong,â he says suggestively, âbut I sure would like to see how this would make things better.â
âI could change it for you if youâd like! Or I could walk you through the process so you know what to do in the future whenever you wanna change it yourself, but trust me when I say, any girl youâre with will be very lucky,â you say boldly, hoping he realizes the piercing is not what theyâd be lucky about.
âI think Iâll let you do it this time doll, I wouldnât want to mess it up,â he says, knowing heâd be too distracted thinking of what heâd like to do to you with this very piercing if you would so desire.
âWell then,â you say, growing flustered as you get near your station, feeling him come close behind. You set him down, and ask him to open his mouth, something that feels oddly intimate considering the fact that youâre alone with him, with no one walking in, and heâs opening his mouth with your face so close to his, to make matters worse, his enticing eyes looking right at you.
You get to work in changing the jewelry as you explain to him how it works. âSo, to turn it on, you need to tighten up the little ball at the bottom,â you say as you demonstrate, and then he gets a funny feeling on his tongue as he feels the metal vibrate through.
âAnd turn it off?â He asks, trying his best not to laugh.
âFor that just unscrew it a little,â you demonstrate yet again, and he feels the vibrations coming to a stop.
Feeling the tension between you two, he decides to take it up a notch and test the waters. âIâd love to try it to its full extent,â he says, knowing that the conversation would go back to a more explicit topic.
âIâm telling you, your girl will be satisfied,â you reply, trying not to pry too much on it in fear heâll see how badly you wanted him to try it on you.
âWell, I donât really have a girl right now,â he says, not missing the relief and happiness that comes to your face right as he says it, âbut there is someone Iâd like to try it on.â
âAnd who might that be?â You ask, almost breathless.
âTake a guess,â he says, not giving you a chance to respond as heâs bringing your face to his and kissing you right on the spot.
After the initial shock of Gojoâs actions and the fact that your very own crush is kissing you, you let your impulse take over as you put your hand on his neck and bring him closer. You lick his lower lip asking for permission to go in, something that he eagerly grants, and your tongues find a rhythm that leaves you both breathless, your cunt feeling something whenever your tongue graced his piercing.
âSo, were you able to figure it out?â He asks cheekily, still blushing from the fact that you kissed back and lord, were you a good fucking kisser.
âNo, I donât think you were very clear,â you reply, the fact that you matched his energy doing things to Gojo.
You pull him in this time, but he took his initiative somewhere else. He sat you on his lap and started caressing your sides, not daring to touch your bare skin no matter how much he wanted to, he didnât want to make you uncomfortable.
On the other hand, it was getting harder and harder for you to play it cool in front of him. Feeling his big, veiny hands run all over you was making you ache for so much more. Not daring to say a word, you put your hands over his and guide them where you want them to be. You take one of them under your shirt all the way to your boobs, and in doing so you feel him moan into your kiss. Growing more confident at his reaction, you take the other one down to your ass, letting him squeeze to his desire.
He understands what you need want him to do and he starts gently fondling your boobs, switching back and forth between the two, as his other hand guided your movements to grind on his hardened dick.
You start moaning into his lips, and he abandons your lips to go on a trip down your face to your ears and your neck with his own. Finding a spot that seemed to have the greatest reaction out of you, he chooses to mark it for reference, just a little hickey to guide him later on, and one to let others now that you were his.
âThis is your weak spot, isnât it?â He says, relishing on the way you quiver at the feel of his breath on your skin.
âT-Thatâs one of âem,â you respond, giving in to your lust entirely, âbut can ya find the o-others?â You ask, wanting to see how far heâll go.
âSuch a dirty doll,â he says, feeling his dick throb at your words, âof course I can find the others, I know youâll guide me to them.â
Breaking away from you to take your shirt off, you shiver as you feel the cold hit your skin. Your nipples hardened and it was apparent through your bra, which made Gojo hungry for more of you. Taking it off as he plants a sweet kiss on your lips, he licks his way down until he reaches your nipples, and starts licking them and then blowing to keep them hard, something that had you grinding harder and harder on his boner.
âCan I try my piercing on you doll? Please? I need to know how you taste,â he says, drunk on your body, âIâm craving the sweetest treat of all.â
As he says that, his hands find his way to your underwear, and over them he plays with your wet pussy. Circling around your cunt as you whine for more, he takes your pants and panties off, letting him take a look at your naked body.
Admiring it like a master piece, Gojo stood what heâs doing altogether just to get a good look at you, wondering how concerning itâd be if he got this tattooed sometime. You squirm under his stare, and yet, you donât feel the impulse to cover up or turn any of the lights off, if anything, you wanted him to look at you like youâre the last meal heâs about to eat.
And a feast is exactly what he had. Not even 2 minutes after admiring you like a goddess, he tightened the piercing and started flat-tongued to lick up and down your pussy. Moans quickly filled the room, the wet sensation of his tongue combined with the vibrations all over your pussy quickly overstimulating you. He puts his fingers in your mouth as his tongue finds its way to your clit. Lapping at it with the vibrating piece on his tongue sent shocks through you, making you buck your hips into him desperate to feel more than just his tongue on you. Retrieving the fingers you licked from your mouth, he put one finger inside of you, surprised at how easily it slipped into you.
âYouâre so fucking warm and wet,â he says as he feels you on his finger, dick throbbing just thinking of how good itâd feel like once it wasnât just his fingers inside of you.
Fingering you as he kept his tongue pressed to your clit, your eyes rolled back in pure pleasure, your moans now louder than they were before, sounding even more lewd combined with the sound of your wet pussy taking in Gojoâs fingers and his tongue slurping and keeping in contact with your clit.
With his free hand, he caressed your thigh gently, which seemed almost ironic giving how relentlessly he was pumping his fingers into you, how mercilessly he was working his tongue to please your clit.
You couldnât take it for much longer. You felt your climax building up in your stomach, and just before you could tell him, you were splashing your juices all over his hand and face, leaving him shocked for a moment.
Quickly realizing what had just happened, he happily licks your cunt clean before cleaning his own fingers up, happily realizing that youâre even sweeter he thought youâd be.
âDonât think Iâm done with you just yet,â he says, getting up to undress quickly as he was eager to fuck you.
Coming out of your post-orgasm bliss, you notice how veiny his long, thick shaft is. Feeling your cunt clench on nothing just waiting for him to come inside of you, a curious hand reached for his dick and gave it a few stokes, filling your fingers get precum on them. Hearing his breath hitch, you quicken the pace of your strokes. This activated that dirty mouth he had on him, making you think that heâs nothing but a silver tongue the way he effectively had you right at his mercy.
âF-Fuck doll, your h-hand feels s-so good,â he moans. âY-You h-have no idea what y-you do to me.â
You keep going like this for a little bit, until he grabs your hand and kisses it while looking right at you.
âI would love to cum off your hands alone someday,â he says, âbut today is not that day, I need to be in your sweet pussy doll, can I?â He asks, placing another kiss, this time in the inside of your wrist.
âY-Yes please Gojo,â you whine.
âSay my name doll,â he says.
âGojo,â you respond.
He positions himself right at your entrance. Slapping his dick in your pussy, he teases both you and himself while his pride toys with you until you call him by his name.
âWrong,â he says, now slapping a bit quicker, the lewd sound of skin slapping combinted with your moans filling the room. âItâs Satoru,â he says, trying his damned best not to moan at the pleasure.
Seeing you lost in that same agonizing pleasure, he dives right into your pussy, touching your cervix in that first stroke, earning a yelp from you. Wanting to keep his little game going, he kept talking. âCâmon doll, itâs easy, itâs S-A-T-O-R-U,â he panted, a stroke for every letter as he spelled out his name.
âS-Satoru! I-Itâs so big!â You said, struggling to adjust to his length with how recklessly he pounded into you right off the bat.
âYou can take it doll I know you must have a high pain tolerance,â he said, focusing a little too much on the feeling of your warm, soaked pussy, which squeezed his cock so deliciously, he knew he wouldnât last long.
You, on the other hand, were in a whole other world. Satoru quite literally was fucking you silly, being already stimulated on your orgasm from not too long ago, his big fucking dick just had reached the spot you struggled to reach even with your toys. Blabbering some nonsense amidst of saying his name like a broken record, you feel your orgasm building up once again, something that Satoru quickly catches on to from the way your pussy was gripping his dick.
âYouâre so tight doll, youâre going to milk me dry,â he says in between pants, âfuck, can I cum inside?â He asks while looking right at you, doubting how effective heâd be trying to pull out right now, and in all honesty, he was so lost on how good you felt he wanted to paint your insides, leave his mark, make you his.
âY-Yes!â You do your best to say, finding it hard to get the words out. It doesnât take long from here for you both to finish, Gojo making a mess of your pussy as by the time he pulls out both of your juices and his and intermixed coming out of you. He fingers you once more, this time to help you take his cum out. He then carries you bridal style to the bathroom so you can pee, in the meantime finding some paper towels to clean himself up and a little bit of the mess you left behind.
When you came back, he carries you back to where you had just fucked, and lays you on top of him to cool off together after such steamy sex you had.
âSo⌠did you like the outcome?â You ask giggly, breaking the ice.
âFuck, if getting piercings means Iâll get to be with you more then so be it. Iâm coming every week for a new one,â he says, genuinely thinking of what he could get next.
âNo need, Iâd make time for you even if you didnât get any more piercings,â you say, blushing at your little confession, immediately putting your head on the crook of his neck out of embarrassment.
He pulls you back, forcing you to look at him. Youâre blushing, hair messy, and eyes slightly glossy after the intense moment you just had, and youâd never looked more beautiful in his mind. Smiling like an idiot after just looking at you, he says âyouâre truly just as sweet as you taste,â and with that, you blush even harder.
âSo then, will you be my girlfriend?â He asks suddenly, leaving you dumbfounded.
âI know itâs a bit of a rush and maybe not as romantic as I wouldâve liked for it to be,â he admits, âbut I must confess that Iâve had a thing for you since we met, and I couldnât live with myself if you werenât mine after today.â
Youâre blushing so hard right now, but also matching his love fool smile, happy that he liked you back. âOf course, Satoru, Iâll be yours, but only if youâll promise youâll be mine,â you say, snuggling up to him and looking deep into those beautiful eyes.
âOh doll, I have been yours ever since you merely looked at me,â he says, then he kisses you gently, you can feel his love through this kiss, which unlike the others you just shared, this one was filled with pure love and admiration, and much like the other kisses he had given you today, these were addicting, immediately making you ache for more.
For the rest of the night, you guys just stayed there talking to each other about anything and everything. Making silly plans for the future, confessing the way you both had been pining for each other, and just laughing at how funny this all was, how crazy it was that it took you two less to have sex than to confess to each other, but, it was just as meaningful nonetheless.
Going back to your apartment, you two settled in your bed, ready to sleep after such intense night. There, basking in his warmth, you realized just how lucky and happy you were to have your job, because after all, if it werenât for that you wouldnât have met Satoru, the boy of your dreams, and next to you, Satoru was thinking just that, and even if heâd never admit it to Geto, he was so grateful to have lost that bet and swallow up his pride, because now, he had something truly worth boasting about: you. Who wouldâve thought a piercing would change his life? Certainly, he wouldnât have guessed it, but at the same time, he wouldnât have it any other way.

__________________________________________
You had been a barca fan as long as you could remember, being mesmerised by the likes of Iniesta and Xavi quickly turned into being a big fan of Vicky Losada and Mariona Caldentey. So when they came knocking on your door, it was an offer you simply couldn't refuse. You settled in easily, barcelona had always been your number one holiday destination and you were quickly growing fond of the team. However you liked your captain a little more than you probably should. The two of you met during an international game, swapping shirts after you lost the game, it made the loss a little easier to take. And now, she was shining for barca, playing like she always used to. She had a certain charm and youâd be flat-out lying if you said you werenât attracted to her.
"We're going out tonight at Razzmatazz right?" You asked, as you were trying on another top. You were at Claudia's apartment with Patri and Cata, getting yourselfs ready before meeting the rest at the club. "Yes we are and your girlfriend ale, is also tagging along this time, please try to not to stare as much this time" Patri said, rolling your eyes at her comment. She teased you endlessly ever since she found about your thing for the captain. You were trying to show her a meme you saved in your tiktok favourites, but instead an edit of alexia popped up on your screen. "She's not my girlfriend, asshole" you responded whilst taking another shot. Pre-drinks at Claudia's were the usual every time you went out, it was their, and now also your way of getting ready. "We all know you wish she was" Cata mumbled, leaving you speechless looking redder than a tomato. They were planning on getting wasted and so were you, the already few days of vacation were gonna be spent on having the best time possible. First you were going out, then spending the remaining days on a group holiday, somewhere away from the public eye, preferably in Spain, before all leaving for the international break.
A few drinks in, they decided it was better to walk, the club wasn't that far away after all and some fresh air wouldn't hurt. "Mira, no more okay? SĂŠ que todas son bromas, pero no quiero arruinar la amistad" you said in a half-whisper, holding the door open for the rest to come in. (Look, i know it's all jokes, but i don't want to ruin the friendship) You had been working on your Spanish, not feeling entirely comfortable, but it being good enough to hold proper conversations with your teammates. Unsurprisingly, Alexia was the first one you greeted "Ale! You finally stopped being boring for once!" Earning you a laugh from your captain, if only she knew how much you loved it. She was wearing quite a simple outfit, a top with a blazer and a pair of jeans, yet she still looked otherworldly. Resting your gaze onto her as she spoke to Ingrid and Mapi, your phone pinged:
- Patri: just kiss her already jesus
- me: callate, hdp (shut up, asshole)
You went back to your conversation with your captain, who was also having a conversation about the ballon d'or. It took less than a minute before your phone pinged again:
- Cata: stop eyefucking her pleaseeeee
This time you chose to ignore it, instead you sat down next to Esmee and Kika, who were talking about their holiday plans.
- you were added to "15 Ă 11"
You sighed, alexias and your numbers in the squad, this was in fact gonna go on the whole night.
- Clau: we've got an offer for you
- if you get with her before we leave, we'll pay for your drinks
- Cata: and if you go home with her to play cards ;) we'll also pay for your share of the group holidays
- me: i'll do it. But to make it clear, it's cause i want her, not the money.
I went up to talk to them, before shooting my shot. "I hate you guys", you said. "No you don't." Claudia responded as you walked away. You needed a drink first before you were shooting your shot. "2 shots porfa" planning on giving one to the Catalan woman. As you were giving her the glass you said "Ale, quieres bailar? Cata said you were being boring and "mature" as always, wanna prove her wrong?" This was your one chance and you weren't gonna waste a second. The music was getting louder and you weren't leaving much room for Jesus. "Que guapa eres..." (you're so hot) she breathed out, her hand tracing along your arm. "What did you say?" You asked, playing innocent even though you heard her loud and clear. "Nada, amor, nada." (Nothing, love, nothing) She turned you around, working your back into her, when you felt your phone buzzing again.
- Patri: perrear??? Se te ve la cabeza??? (grinding??? Have you lost your mind???)
âJesus, youâre insaneâ you heard her mutter from behind you. It was just a matter of time before sheâd give in. She pulled you away from the people into a bathroom stall, locking lips before the door even closed, her hands all over you. You kissed her back fiercely, yet letting her take control. As she kept you pinned to the thin bathroom wall, her hands started wandering. However you were snapped back to reality when you heard your phone ring.
- 15x11 is calling (videocall)
Groaning as you looked at your screen, you picked up. âWhat do you guys want this time?â you asked, clearly annoyed your moment got interrupted and trying to show as little of the Catalan woman next to you as possible. âWe thought we lost youâ, it was obvious they had seen you leave with Alexia, âbut given you left with a certain someone, we think youâre all goodâ, they laughed, earning the finger. âamor, weâve got some unfinished business, donât you think?â she smiled against your lips, her hand moving along your spine. âwe really do,â you replied, pressing your lips to hers once more. âMy apartment it isâ, as she moved away to get out of the bathroom. âWeâre leaving guys!â You screamt, looking to see if your friends could hear you, as alexia was saying her goodbyes to the others.
- me: i got the girl, winners love winning
You texted, smiling whilst entering your captain's apartment. Both eager to get back to what you started.
a/n: this is my first time doing this, lmk if you got advice or anything

âđ Can I Get Your Number? âđ Ch 25
Jason Todd x (f)Chubby!Reader
written with a female reader in mind, first person pov, no use of Y/N, will probably get NSFW later, let me know if there's anything else I should tag this with!

Chapter Selection
âI canât believe weâre doing thisâŚâ Jason grumbled softly, starting his bike.
âI told you; you donât have to come if you donât want to. Bruce said he'd send a car for me.â I wrapped my arms around his waist, gently squeezing.
âAbsolutely not. If youâre joining Thursday training sessions, Iâm going with you.â We flew down the street, Jasonâs voice continuing in the speaker in my helmet; âI just donât understand why you want to do this at allâŚâ
âTraining with more people will give me a more well-rounded experience. And while you are a very good teacher, youâre also my boyfriend. Somehow I feel like Bruce will be a harsher critic of my abilities.â
âAnd thatâs a good thing??â He took a sharp turn toward the wealthy side of town.
âWhen weâre talking about possible life and death situations, yes. And I donât really want you to have to be harsh with me, so why donât we make that Bruceâs responsibility, since that relationship is already tense anyway?â
Jason sighed softly, gently squeezing my hands. â... I guess. ⌠He can be a ⌠tough teacher though. If heâs too hard on you, you donât have to take it.â
âI know, baby. And he knows Iâm not looking to be added to the patrol schedule, so Iâm sure itâll be fine.â
Jason grumbled more, but continued driving to Wayne Manor. We parked in a large garage, and he led me to an elevator. After pressing several buttons we were headed down to the Batcave, where the entire Wayne family met us.
Damian spied us first, walking over. âSister?â
âHey kiddo! You gonna help train me?â I grinned, holding my hand out to him. He hesitantly squeezed my hand once, dropping it quickly.
â... I thought Father was attempting to make a joke when he said you were joining our training sessionsâŚâ he frowned deeply.
âNope, no joke. ⌠Is that a problem?â I raised an eyebrow.
â... I suppose not. ⌠You will spar with me.â He gestured for me to follow him toward some mats.
Jason cried after us; âhey! Be gentle, demon brat. She's still new to this stuff.â
âI am not a fool, Todd. I am not expecting her to be a black belt.â Damian nodded; âstretches first.â
I took a seat and pulled my shoes off before stepping onto the mat, doing our usual pre-workout stretches. Eventually Bruce came over, watching us with vague interest on his face. âAlright, let's see what we have to work with.â
I nodded, and Damian and I put on some padding. We bowed to each other, and began. He started out slowly, letting me get in the flow of things. The others watched, periodically calling out instructions and encouragements. After a while I caught a glimpse of Jason in the corner of my eye, chewing on his lip, and Damian took that moment to sweep my leg out from under me.
âOof!â I grunted softly as I landed on my back, blinking a bit.
âDon't get distracted. Your opponent will use that moment to their advantage.â
I nodded, accepting Damian's offered hand to get back up. âGo again?â
He nodded, and we went again, and again, and again. Every time, I ended up on my back, and he had another note for me. âDon't watch my face, watch my shoulders.â âIf you aren't willing to hurt me, you will never win.â âFollow through, or none of this will matter.â âFocus on your footing; you're off balance.â âBreath with your attacks.â
Eventually, Jason stepped forward. âThat's enough, take five.â
I nodded, letting him help me up, and bowed to Damian again. âThanks for training me, Damian.â
He nodded, smiling a little, and bowed back. âYou're not entirely hopeless, considering you're a civilian. If you take this seriously, you'll be a proper martial artist in no time.â
I grinned, nodding, and Jason led me to the side, getting me some water. âHow do you feel?â
âI feel fine, baby! Damian is an excellent sparring partner.â
He frowned a bit, massaging my shoulders. âI dunno, some of those throws were unnecessarily roughâŚâ
âJace, do you think the next mugger I run into is going to be more gentle with me than that?â
He sighed, kissing my neck. â... No. ⌠I just don't like watching you get knocked around.â
âI know, you're so protective of me~ it's sweet, but we gotta power through this part so I can get good.â
He sighed, holding me close. We watched the others pair up for more intensive sparring practices, and Bruce came over. âYou did well out there. I want you to work on your balance for a while, Jason can walk you through that. And you should do at least an hour a day of simple exercises; stretching, strength training, and balance training.â
I nodded. âGot it. Thanks BruceâŚâ
He nodded, pointing out the equipment he recommended I use today, and went back to observing the others. Jason eventually led me over to the equipment, and we started working on my balance.
After weeks of gym days with Jason and BatFam training sessions, I really expected to see myself slimming down a bit. But when I looked in the mirror, I was still soft and curvy. My arm and leg muscles were more pronounced, and I was certain my core muscles were getting stronger too, but my tummy was still round and squishy. It didn't bother me, and Jason seemed rather pleased to not be losing my softness; he tended to nuzzle against my chest and stomach at night, like a big cuddly teddy bear.
Seeing my training progress wasn't making him any less protective either; every time I stepped onto the mat with one of his siblings I could hear him growling at them. It didn't deter Damian, or the girls, but Dick and Tim were particularly hesitant to give me a proper training session. They mostly stuck to helping me with warm ups, and shouting suggestions from the sidelines.
All of the bats were master martial artists, but each had their own preferred fighting styles. Damian taught me to fake out my opponent, and had a proclivity for taking out the leg. Stephanie preferred to mix up her fighting style, keeping her opponents off guard. Cass taught me to anticipate an opponent's moves, watching for the slightest movements that might tell me how to take them down. When Dick and I sparred, he mostly stuck to the basics, not wanting to risk injuring me in front of Jason. Tim mostly helped me work on my blocks and defensive strategy. Bruce stuck to observing and instructing, never actually entering the ring with me. And with the lot of them training me in various martial arts, Jason turned our gym days into gym-and-range days; we would do some stretches and basic core-building, and then we went to the shooting range to work on my aim.
One day before training, Damian had me kneel. Once I was on my knees, he held out a yellow sash with little black bats on it, saying something in a language I didn't know.
I took it, smiling softly; âwhat's this?â
âYour yellow bat-belt. You've leveled up in your training. Put it on.â
I grinned, nodding, and tied it around my waist; âyes, Sensei.â
Damian smiled at that, nodding once. Once he was happy with how the belt was tied, he led me to the mats for our sparring session. Tim snorted softly, watching from the side.
âWhat's with the belt? You know the mish-mash of martial arts she's learning wouldn't count at a proper school, right?â
Damian glowered at him; âshe has leveled up in the School of the Bat. That is what matters here.â
âWell how come the rest of us don't get bat-belts then?â Tim smirked a bit; âyou gotta make them for everyone, Damian!â
âYou would not like a physical indicator of what level I deem you to be at, Drake.â Damian smirked at his indignant noises, and turned to me. We bowed and started our sparring session.
In our fourth spar of the day, I landed my first ever hit. One second Damian was in front of me, fists up, and the next he was sprawled out on the floor in front of me, looking up at me in shock.
âOh my god, Damian! Are you ok??â I fell to my knees next to him as he sat up slowly.
â... I'm fine. ⌠Well done, sister.â He smirked a bit; ânow do it again.â
I could hear the smirk in Jason's voice as he called out; âway to go, babe! Kick the demon brat's ass!â
âLanguage.â Bruce frowned at him, and I helped Damian up.
âSorry, B. Let's try that again,â he cleared his throat, putting on the most happy-go-lucky voice he could manage; âholy guacamole, bat-babe! Gee golly, can ya do it again, pretty girl?âÂ
Dick wrinkled his nose, groaning softly. âDear god, I forgot you used to talk like that. Never do that again.â
âAgreed.â I laughed softly, sticking my tongue out at him; âthat was horrible!â
He chuckled, winking at me. Damian frowned, snapping at us; âEnough! No flirting during training! Sister, let's go again.â
My head was ringing. Hands grabbed me, and I was carefully brought into a seated position. I blinked slowly, touching the back of my head gently. No blood. That was goodâŚ
â-idn't mean to! Fuck!â
âWell you did! So back off, Grayson!â Damian spoke sharply next to me. His small hands held the sides of my face, making me look at him; â... No dilation, that's good.â
I blinked slowly, frowning. âWha- ⌠what happened?â
Jason held me against his chest, frowning deeply. âYou don't remember, baby?â
I started to shake my head, but the pounding in my head put a stop to that. âOhhh fuck ⌠owâŚâ
âShit âŚâ Dick whined softly from somewhere behind Damian. âShit, I ⌠I'm so sorry! I swear, I didn't mean to!â
âDick, just shut up.â Jason growled, holding me closer. He carefully lifted me, holding me against his chest as he carried me toward a long bench.
âShe's probably got a concussion. Don't let her sleep.â Tim frowned, bringing an ice pack.
Jason took it, carefully pressing it to my head. âYeah, no shitâŚâ
âWhat happened?â
âDick threw you off the mat.â Jason growled softly, holding me close. âYou're done for the day. Time to rest.â
âUgh⌠ok. ⌠Rest sounds goodâŚâ I frowned, closing my eyes.
Dick hesitantly mumbled my name; âI'm so sorry!â
âIt's all good, Dick. I'm not dying.â I groaned softly, leaning against Jason.
Jay growled softly. âIt's not all good. I told you to be careful. I told you not to hurt her!â
I shushed him softly, leaning in more. âNo yellingâŚâ
He sighed softly, kissing my forehead. âSorry, baby girlâŚâ
Bruce checked my eyes, frowning a bit. â... Nothing else she can do today. Take her home, have her take a few days off.â
Jay grunted his agreement and the next thing I knew, I was in his arms again, being carried to the elevator. Damian ran after us, bringing my bag along. I smiled softly, reaching down to stroke his hair. âThanks, kiddoâŚâ
He leaned in to my touch for a second before pulling back; âI'll come over tomorrow after school to check on you.â
âSounds good. Thanks, Damian.â He smiled a little at that, setting my bag in the car. Jason got me situated, making sure I was buckled, before getting in and driving me home.
âFucking DickâŚâ he grumbled softly.
âRelax, baby. It's just a minor concussion. I'll be fine tomorrow.â I smiled softly, watching the scenery.
âShould never have happenedâŚââ
âIt was an accident, they happen. Don't be too harsh with him.âÂ
He sighed, resting a hand on my knee. â... This ok?â
I smiled softly and nodded, turning toward him; âYeah, that's ok.â
He smiled a little and gently stroked my knee with his thumb; âwhen we get in, you're gonna rest on the couch. I'll get you some water, and aspirin, and I'll make something light for dinner.â
âOk. Thanks, Jay~â I sighed softly, closing my eyes for a second.
âDon't sleep, now. You gotta stay awake for a while.â
âOk, I'll stay awake.â I slowly opened my eyes, blinking a bit. â... So bright thoughâŚâ
Jason pulled a pair of sunglasses out of his center console and passed them to me. I grinned, kissing his hand, and put them on. âMuch better. ⌠Takin' such good care'a meâŚâ
He chuckled softly. âAnything you need, doll. Always.â

Day 3
âAnd you really believe this guy is going to work for this?â Yoongi said, looking over your notes and layout of the entire plan you had.
âAbsolutely sir.â You nod.Â
It was the Tuesday following you and Jungkookâs date. You two had gotten some dinner and then you went home. You tried not to let that text ruin your mood but it did bring you down for the meal. You and Jungkook just talked more about what you do and things you liked. Just easy conversation and sharing social media, small things that you could mask your disappointment with and give cheerful and in depth answers too.Â
That text sucked to see. It sucked to see that he made this promise to be serious but he was just playing you.To be fair, you didnât know him. It was your first date and he didnât owe you anything. It would just make this easier.Â
"Already past the first date. Youâre jumping in head first," Yoongi mused, scratching his chin thoughtfully. "So, whatâs next?"
"The plan is to keep things moving. I only have thirty days, so I wanted to start strong. The first date was just to break the ice. Now, I'm aiming to stay in touch throughout the weeksâget more annoying to make sure I stay on his radar."Â
Yoongi chuckled. "And what does annoying entail in this case?"
You grinned, feeling a mischievous spark. "I was thinking some things like being a little too clingy. Getting a bit too personal too soon. Social media stalking, maybe even acting overly sensitive to anything he says about 'dating' or 'us.' Just... trying to inch my way into his daily life, so he canât quite shake me off. Then next week I will take things to the next step."
Yoongi nodded in approval. "I like it. Thorough and unexpected, just what we want. Letâs round back around next week and check-in. Weâll go over your progress and adjust as needed. Youâre off to a good start."
You gave him a grateful nod. "Thank you, sir."
With a wave of his hand, âNow go write, be amazing.â Yoongi dismissed you, and you returned to your desk, your mind already spinning with ideas. You were ready to dive into this full force, but there was one small snag, a small but persistent worry. Youâd sent Jungkook a quick text yesterday, just a light âgood morningâ and a note about enjoying the date, but there hadnât been a reply yet.
It wasnât a big deal but already not responding to a text after a whole day was not sitting well with you.
Settling yourself down into your chair, that small disappointment from seeing that text on Jungkook's phone was still nagging at you. Your friends had warned you not to get attached, to keep things light, but youâd ignored them. They called this from a million miles away and you, like an idiot, let your guard down like always.Â
Well, not this time. This was just a job. No more emotional slip-ups.Â
âDamn it, Iâm a writer,â you muttered under your breath. âThis is just research. Heâs just a random guy.â
With renewed determination, you opened your laptop, fingers flying across the keyboard as you drafted the first section of your article. Reliving the details of your first date, you kept it light and short because this wasnât about how the first date went great, itâll be about everything that happens now. You had your plan ready for action.
You were finally hitting a flow, words forming exactly as you wanted, when you heard footsteps stop just outside your cubicle.Â
âSpecial delivery!â Ann, one of the front-desk clerks, appeared with a bright smile, holding a small bouquet. "Someoneâs got an admirer!"
She set down a small bouquet of sunflowers. The choice of flower surprised you most of all, you loved sunflowers. They were tied together with a with a purple ribbon and card attached to the end. Opening it, âA little bit of sun for a rainy first date. Thank you for listening to my fish facts. JK.âÂ
âAww, thatâs so sweet,â Ann cooed, lingering a moment to admire the flowers. She shot you a grin before heading back to the front, and you tried to keep your reaction composed.
You couldn't help but feel that small spark of joy, despite yourself, as you read the card. The sunflowers, your favorite, were unexpected and so charming. Tied with a cute ribbon that added a touch of thoughtfulness. Youâd never been given flowers by anyone other than your parents and that one college boyfriend. Yet here they were, sent to your office, just for you.
If this had been any other situation, youâd probably be blushing and grinning like an idiot, falling head over heels way too fast. But the reminder of what you knewâwhat he was likely doing, the kind of guy he really wasâkept you grounded.Â
As you stared at the bouquet, lost in thought, the telltale squeak of a chair wheeling over caught your attention.
âWow someoneâs special.â Ronnie rolled right next to you. âAre those from who I think they are from?âÂ
"Looks like it," You replied casually, flashing her the card. "Just⌠a little thank you gift."
Ronnie waggled her eyebrows. "Oh, just a thank you gift? The guy sent you your favorite flowers, after only one date. You sure you arenât already planning your future house decor with him?"
Rolling your eyes, you turned back to your laptop, brushing off the teasing. "Maybe," But the flicker of disappointment crept back in. "If he hadn't got that text on our date. Then maybe this would be a sweet gesture. There's no way I'm getting attached to someone whoâs probably chatting up another girl at the same time."
Ronnie gave you a skeptical look. "You still havenât told me what it said, just that you went from mildly hopeful to permanently sour about him. Especially after you begged me and Jin to let you pick another guy before the date even ended."
You sighed, leaning back in your chair. "It was⌠friendly, if you know what I mean."
âOh, friendly friendly?â she echoed, her voice heavy with implication. She winced sympathetically. "Iâm sorry."
You shook your head, swiveling to face her. "No, no. Weâre not doing the whole pity party thing. No look at Y/N she got fooled by another asshole again. This is work. I knew what I was signing up for with this guy, and itâs why I chose him. I can handle it."
Ronnie raised her brows. "Yeah, sure. You sound totally fine."
âI am fine,â you insisted, forcing a smile. âItâs all part of the assignment, right? A totally detached, unbiased observation. Think of me as an objective researcher.â
âOkay Dr. Detachment. How are you going to respond to these?â Ronnie glanced down to the flowers and then back up to you.Â
You opened your mouth to answer but paused, glancing at the flowers. You already knew what you wanted to do, but still⌠you werenât quite sure how to play it yet.Â
Meanwhile, across town, Jungkook was still buzzing from his own bold move. He and Hoseok were walking down the street on their lunch break, and Hoseok eyed him suspiciously. Jungkook filled him on the details with a little too much spring in his step, never the way Hoseok had ever seen Jungkook act after a date.Â
âSo⌠the date went that well, huh?â Hoseok finally asked, giving Jungkook a smirk. âYouâre practically skipping.â
âHey, I am not,â Jungkook grumbled, trying to keep his voice casual as he filled Hoseok in on the date. It had gone smoother than heâd expected, and he couldnât ignore that spark of excitement.Â
Jungkook had done a little social media stalking when he spent the day with his parents yesterday. You used a sunflower in your bio and in a lot of your posts, so he took a guess that they may have been your favorite flower. It did take him a little tracking down though, since sunflowers were going out of season.Â
Hoseok grinned, giving Jungkook an approving nod. âSo⌠flowers and a corny note? Youâre going for gold.â
âExactly,â Jungkook replied, a proud glint in his eyes. âIâm hoping she liked it. Sheâs into romantic movies and such so I thought it would be a good gesture.â Plus it was a perfect opening note since sending flowers is another classic romantic movie troup. âShe should have gotten them by now.â He checked his phone yet again, his screen still frustratingly blank.
Hoseok raised an eyebrow to him, âDoes it bother you that sheâs not immediately giving you all of her attention.âÂ
Jungkook snorted, âNo.â He paused but the silence between them hung a little too long for Hoseok to be convinced, âOkay maybe a little.âÂ
Hoseok let out a laugh, shaking his head with an amused grin. "Wow. Didnât know you were secretly a heartthrob under all that cool indifference. Who are you, and what did you do with Jungkook?"
âShut up,â Jungkook muttered, fighting a smile as he looked away. âIm just⌠giving this a real shot.â
âAnd youâre stressing out over whether she liked your flowers or not,â Hoseok added, raising an eyebrow. âMust be a real first for you.â
Jungkook shrugged, feeling his cheeks heat up. âI just thought Iâd make an effort, alright? â He glanced at his phone again, his thumb hovering over the screen before he stuffed it back into his pocket.
âWhy do I feel like the grand romantic gesture wasnât entirely about the bet?â Hoseok chuckled, giving him a playful nudge.
âItâs not because Iâm actually dating her remember?â Jungkook replied, a little too quickly, then caught himself.Â
âYou know,â Hoseok said, tilting his head, âthereâs no law that says you canât text her first, right? Might even make you seem⌠interested.â
Jungkook scoffed, his gaze glued to the sidewalk. âI donât want to look desperate.â
âDude, come on. Desperate is sending $50 sunflowers in November,â Hoseok replied, laughing as Jungkook scowled.
Jungkook sighed, but a faint smile tugged at his lips. âI just really enjoyed spending time with her. Itâs different.â
âSo shoot her a text, lover boy,â Hoseok urged, hit Jungkook lightly on the back of the head. âAll the smooth moves in the world wonât matter if she doesnât know youâre into her.â
Jungkookâs phone buzzed just as Hoseok delivered his advice, catching him off guard. He glanced down and saw your name on the screen. His eyes lit up, and a grin broke across his faceâso wide and boyish that it almost unnerved Hoseok.
âSpeak of the devil,â Jungkook muttered, barely containing his excitement.
âWell answer it.â He shoves his shoulder.
Jungkook fumbles with his phone and steps off to the side to answer, âYouâve reached Sunflowers on the Go. How may I be of service?âÂ
You humm on the other end of the line in amusement, âSo itâs the strangest thing. I got this delivery of sunflowers here on my desk but I donât remember placing an order.âÂ
âHmm, strange indeed,â Jungkook replied, grinning. âTurns out we only deliver to Composure magazine. No one else.â
What Jungkook wasn't aware of is you had him on speaker phone so Ronnie was also able to hear him. She brought her hand to her face at his cheesy responses. You also shook your head at absurdity.Â
âOh, is that so?â you teased. âWell, there was a little card attached⌠signed by someone named âJK.ââ
âYep, thatâs the guy. Donât know him personally, but he seems pretty cool,â Jungkook said, leaning into the joke. Looking over at Hoseok who was drawing hearts in the air around Jungkook, Jungkook just rolled his eyes.
âHmmm, I donât know anyone named âJKâ. Guess Iâll just have to throw these away then.â You play with the ribbon in your fingers.
âWhoa, whoa, hey! Thatâs mean!â He protested, laughing. You laughed as well at his protest.
âOkay but seriously how did you know these were my favorite?â You touch one of the petals, sunflowers were definitely out of season so he had to go to some work to find really fresh ones. âOr was it just a lucky guess?â
âI may or may not have noticed a pattern on your socials.â His tone was sheepish and you just shook your head.
âAh, so you were stalking me.â You nod, you notice Ronnie roll on over back to her desk. Coming back with her phone in hand. She was typing frantically.
âMaybe a little bit.â Jungkook let a beat pass, âI guess more importantly do you like them?âÂ
âThey are very beautiful. Especially for this time of year.â You sigh, the gesture really was sweet. Might be fast for Jungkook to send flowers this early on but still sweet.
Jungkook let out a sigh he hanât realized he had even been holding in, âI do have to confess something. I was hoping this would make an opening for me to invite you to dinner.â He shifted from side to side, âWell I would be making dinner.â
âInviting me over? Wow, bold move. So soon.â You smile, Ronnie giving you a knowing look and you brushing her off. âWould I have to do anything?â
âI will take care of it all, I need to or ove I can make a mean carbonara,â Hoseok gave Jungkook a look like he had no idea he had any cooking skill. âHow about tonight?â
âI have plans tonight.â Which wasnât a lie, you were going to work on some writing tonight. âHow about Thursday?âÂ
âPerfect. Youâre gonna be impressed, I already know it.â Jungkook chewed on his bottom lip.Â
âIâm sure I will.âÂ
With some goodbyes you both hung up the phone. You could suddenly feel your heart racing in your chest and you mentally scolded yourself. You needed to remember none of this was long term. Which Ronnie was taking the lead in reminding you about.
âFor someone who claims to be totally normal about all of this, you sure are smitten.â She crossed her arms and eyebrow raised observing you, âHe totally knew these would work on you.âÂ
âI am totally normal about all of this. This is perfect, we are going on a second date and I get to start implementing my plan. Everything is on track.â You say but ash is looking back to her phone, âWhat are you looking at?â
âIâm trying to find his instagram.â She continued typing, not looking back up to you.Â
âOh he doesnât have one.â You remembered from dinner on Sunday. It wasnât abnormal for someone to not have one but Ronnie was surprised.Â
âBoo, how am I supposed to dig up dirt on him?â Ash slumped down into her chair. You had actually done a little digging of your own the evening before though.Â
âPretty sure thatâs my job and I already did. He has twitter but he doesnât post often. He keeps a pretty low presence online so I wasnât able to learn much that way.â You sigh, it was actually a little refreshing although it did leave you guessing. Makes it tough to be intrusive in the next steps of your plan. âBy the way, can you cry on command?â
Ronnie raises an eyebrow at your request, âI donât but I think we both know who might.âÂ

Day 5
Thursday arrived, you and Jungkook spent the entire day texting back and forth just talking about whatever came to your minds. You found any excuse to ask him any random question. Send him random things you genuinely thought were funny. He also had something funny to say back or respond with. So you just let that be it, just texting and talking as much as possible.Â
Jungkook had spent the night before doing a practice carbonara. Watching some guy on youtube walking him through the steps. It turned out pretty good but he knew he could make a better one tonight. He got really nice ingredients that hopefully would push it over the edge. He really wanted to make a good first impression with his cooking. He had no issue inviting you over so soon after knowing you, he felt really comfortable with you already.Â
He hoped it wasnât too forward, but you didnât seem to mind.Â
He had a bottle of mid tier white wine in his fridge and he also got a red because he wasnât sure what you would prefer. He also wasn't sure what would pair better with a carbonara. Jungkook dressed his table up all nice, it was nothing special but a candle classes it up a little bit. Classic romantic things. It felt somewhat awkward and made him cringe but also no one else was around to see his effort but you, and you would appreciate it.Â
Or at least he hoped you would.Â
He then heard a knock from his front door. He thought it was a little early for you to be here but he didnât mind, he still was making the food and he could pour you a glass while you waited. He trotted to his door, a wide grin on his face as he swung the door open with some gusto, only to have his features fall.Â
âChannel?âJungkook's face twisted into a confused but unamused expression, as she brushed past him into the apartment. âPlease, come on in.â He said, his voice clearly sarcastic.
Channel looked like she was dressed for a night out and not for a very cold November evening at that. She had her hair curled and bouncy like it usually was, and the highest heel she could comfortably wear, clicking her way around Jungkook's apartment.
âI want my scarf back,â She had her arms crossed, strolling into the apartment with ease. She had been here enough times to know where everything was. âand since you wonât respond to my calls, here I am in person.â
âOkay, you couldnât have texted me about this?â Jungkook let his front door close and followed after her through his apartment, as she tried to look under things and around furniture.Â
She laughed bitterly, âLast I checked, youâve been avoiding my texts as well.â She continued her hunt around his space. Jungkook getting a little peeved since he spent a good amount of time trying to make his space look good for your arrival. Your arrival which would be really soon and this was not a good look for a guy as you clocked as âunseriousâ.
"I kind of have a life, you know? I canât answer every text you send.â Jungkook kept his eyes peeled for the scarf, more than ready for this encounter to end.
âYeah, right.â Channelâs voice dripped with disbelief as she followed him further into the apartment, her arms crossed. âI could tell Hoseok was covering for you.â She paused mid-sentence, catching sight of the dining table set for two, a soft candle flickering in the center. Her expression turned suspicious. âAnd⌠what is that?â
Jungkook looked back to the table and then back to her, acting like itâs always looked like that. âNothing, now where is that scarf?â
âYour place is so⌠spotless,â she murmured, her eyes scanning every corner of his living room, taking in the lit lamps, the neatly arranged coffee table, and the faint smell of food coming from the kitchen. âSetting a mood, are we?â
âI mean, I clean often. Iâm not a slob,â he replied defensively, trying to wave off her assumptions, though he could see she was putting it all together, one detail at a time.
Channel sniffs the air for a moment and then stalks over to the kitchen, âYouâre cooking? You donât cook.â
âWhenever he hung out, cooking really wasnât a part of the schedule.â He muttered, rubbing the back of his neck, aware that he was pushing her buttons. âI cook all the time.âÂ
âOh, I see,â She replied, her tone flat but her eyes flashing. She tilted her head, a cruel smile tugging at her lips. âSo, who is she, then?âÂ
Jungkook sighed, not fighting her anymore, âno one, and she is coming over soon, letâs find your scarf so you can leave.âÂ
But Channel didnât budge, her eyes narrowing as she crossed her arms tighter.Â
âOh no, no, no. Youâre not brushing this off like that. Nice napkins, a candle? You set a damn table, Jungkook. What is this, some kind of date?â Her voice grew sharper with each word, anger and betrayal clear in her expression.
âThatâs not really your business is it?â Jungkook rubbed the back of his neck, he needed to get her out of here.Â
Channel let out a bitter laugh, shaking her head. âNot my business? You know whatâs funny? All this time, I thought maybe we were building toward something real. And now, I see youâre doing that with someone else?â She scoffed, her face hardening. âWhat you just didnât want this with me?â
Her words hung in the air, clear betrayal laced them. Him and Channel only had a sexual relationship, itâs what they agreed upon from the start. Sometime in there Channel developed some feelings for him and after a few months asked if they could take this more seriously. Jungkook wasnât ready for that kind of step so they ended it all together. So now this all looks really bad.Â
Except, he thought, itâs none of her business if he did change his mind. He never lied to her, and he was always very clear that he did not want a relationship. He really didnât, and this thing with you, although a part of a bet, was something he was dipping his toes into.Â
âChannel, thatâs not it,â Jungkook said, sighing. âI never lied to you. I really didnât want a relationship.â He hesitated, then finally admitted, âBut I met someone, andâŚweâre trying things out and itâs brand new. So please leave.â
Channelâs face twisted in anger, her voice rising as she spat, âOh, I get it.â She tossed her hair over her shoulder, looking around his place with fresh resentment. âI bet youâll dump her as soon as youâve slept together a few more times. Because thatâs what you do, Jungkook.â
He clenched his fists, frustrated but trying to stay calm. âYou know, Iâve had enough of this,.â he said quietly, finally spotting the scarf stuffed into a seat cushion. He pulled it out, tossing it to her.
She caught it and threw it around her neck with a sneer. âSo what is it about her, huh? What makes her so âspecialâ that suddenly youâre willing to commit?â She shot him a glare, stepping closer. âMaybe I should stick around and meet this one-of-a-kind woman. See what all the fuss is about.â
âNo,â Jungkook said firmly, guiding her toward the door. âYouâre leaving, now.â
She jerked away from his touch, folding her arms defiantly. âWhat? Is she coming soon?â Her eyes gleamed with spite. âYou donât want her to know what youâre really like?â
Jungkook let out a slow breath, gathering his patience. âNo. I think she would be an adult and actually talk with me about it,â he replied, surprising himself with the honesty in his voice. âAnd whatever she finds outâthatâs for me to tell her and her to decide. So, goodnight, Channel.â
She stared at him, anger simmering as she pulled open the door, glancing back with an icy glare. âScrew you, Jungkook.â With that, she stormed out, letting the door slam behind her.
At the same time she opened the door you were stepping out of the elevator and onto Jungkookâs floor. You spotted a girl storming down the hallway after yelling inside a doorway, as she passed you muttering a quick âExcuse meâ without a second glance. You had an uneasy feeling about her, especially as she walked away from the very apartment number Jungkook had given you. You double-checked, confirming the number on your phone with the one she had just exited, and the sinking feeling intensified.
âJesus Jungkook. At least have some class and spread out your dates so we donât bump into each other in the hall.â You whisper under your breath, but you still had to go through with this as if you didnât immediately feel a sense of dread.Â
You took a steadying breath, willing yourself to ignore the uneasy feeling in the pit of your stomach. After all, you were here now, and nothing had technically happened to prove your suspicions. So you pushed them down, knocked on the door, and tried to keep your expression neutral, reminding yourself you were maybe a minute earlyânothing too crazy.
The door opened after a brief pause, and Jungkookâs face shifted from guarded to bright relief when he saw you standing there. His lips curled into a wide, easy smile, like he was genuinely glad to see you. His hair was a little tousled, his shirt a snug, tucked into jeans that fit him perfectly, emphasizing his lean frame. He looked relaxed, casually put together, which was somehow infuriatingly charming.
âHey,â he greeted, his voice warm, stepping aside so you could enter. âCome on in.â
âHi,â you replied, acting as if nothing felt off.Â
You stepped past him, letting your eyes flick around the apartment, taking in the detailsâthe tidy coffee table, a low hum of music playing through the room. He had a nice living room set up around a TV on the wall, the dining setup with an actual candle in the center. Heâd put thought into this, that much was obvious. You couldnât deny it was sweet, even if it left you slightly off-balance, considering what youâd walked past in the hallway moments ago.
âOkay now looking at it now, the candle maybe was a little cheesy.â Jungkook cringed at himself looking at the little set up. You shake your head and wave him off.Â
âNo, I think it's adorable. You even got a scentless one so it doesnât cover the smell of the food.â You take a seat at the table, âIâm prepared to be wowâd like you promised me.âÂ
âI unfortunately got a little bit delayed so I am not quite done yet.â Jungkook was shuffling his way back into the kitchen, âBut make yourself at home.â
âOkay.â You smile as he rounds his way back into his kitchen, he watches you get back up and walk around his living space. Almost like he was waiting for approval. Luckily Channel hadnât trashed the place.Â
You took note of all of the little things he chose to have on display, some books, a few polaroid cameras and some polaroid's on the walls, as well as a record collection that lined the side of the living room on some shelves. You thumbed through some of them to see what was available. Impressed with some of his picks, some similar to your own. His place wasnât terribly big. Classic little bachelor pad. You had noticed he had chosen to keep what you could only assume was his bedroom door closed.Â
It was something Jungkook thought way too hard about, if he left it open was it like saying he wanted to sleep with you tonight? Would it be way too forward? Or was closing it just as weird? Was closing it like telling you that he didnât really want you in his space? He went back and forth and then opted to close it to maybe say he wasnât expecting anything to happen, although he wouldnât mind if it did.Â
You on the other hand didnât barely give it a thought other than noticing it. You picked up one of his polaroid cameras and brought it with you. You round your way back to his kitchen and stand off to the side watching him work. He was pretty zoned in on what he was doing, everything was really smelling great. You usually found it pretty hot if a guy could cook well.Â
Jungkook took an opportunity to try some of his work and you took a photo right at the moment he took a bite, his eyes widened right at the moment he realized he'd been caught.
The picture came out and you set it down to develop.Â
âIâm sure that will be super cute.â You laugh, setting down his camera as well. He laughs and you look over his shoulder to see how close he is to being done.
âComing to inspect my work?â Jungkook glances to his side, seeing you peering over his shoulder to see what he was doing. He was almost done cooking.Â
âMaybe.â You tease, âIâm a sucker for people who can cook. Iâm just⌠okay at it.âÂ
âWell,â Jungkook stops what he is doing and reaches for a drawer next to him pulling out a fork and twirling some of the noodles onto it. Then holding the fork out to you. âIâm ready for your final score.â
You paused. Debating if you should eat the food off the fork or if you should take the fork. Would it send the wrong message if you ate off it? Or was that exactly what he was doing? The fork wasnât very close to your mouth but not crazy far. You decided to just take the fork from him and take the bite.Â
It ended up being really good carbonara.Â
âOh my god.â You smile chewing, âitâs really fucking good. Ten out of ten.âÂ
Jungkook did a small fist pump to himself, tucking his bottom lip between his teeth hiding a smile. âIâll admit, I did a practice run yesterday and it was just okay but Iâm glad this one is good.â Jungkook then taking a bite of it himself with another fork. Jungkook upon tasting his own food smacking his own forehead and leaning back.Â
Causing you to laugh at his dramatic reaction.Â
You glanced at the polaroid on the counter picking it up to see if it had developed yet, it wasnât fully done but you could see mostly what the picture would look like. You showed it to Jungkook and he smiled, âTen out of ten picture. Best one of me yet.âÂ
You looked at it and he did look like a deer caught in the headlights but it was funny, you set it down.Â
âIâll admit Iâm wowed, to be fair Iâve only had carbonara like one other time.â You lean against one of his kitchen counters watching him as he plates the pasta for the two of you.
âIâll still take the high praise. Now, should we do a white or a red wine?âÂ
âHmm, a red works better with this I think.â You nod.Â
Jungkook tells you where you can find his bottle opener and some glasses. You managed to get the cork screw into the cork but seem to be lacking the ability to actually pull the cork out of the bottle. Jungkook finds some amusement in watching your struggle but you persist. Youâve opened plenty of wine bottles in the past, this shouldnât be difficult.Â
âHaving some trouble?â Jungkook watched you try and fail to pull the cork out a third time.
âAbsolutely not. The cork and I are just having a disagreement.â You shake off your hand a few times and then get a better grip on the screw pulling upward as best you can. With some pathetic struggle, you really swear you can feel the cork moving. You let out a sigh as you let it go again.Â
âMay I?âÂ
âI swear Iâm not that weak.â This honestly was just embarrassing at this point, so much so you have to face away from Jungkook at your next attempt.Â
You make one final grip on the corkscrew and twist and tug, finally the corkscrew and cork pop free. Not before your hand comes straight, hard and fast, into your own face.
âOh shit,â Jungkookâs face changes as he sees you basically punch your own face. âAre you okay?âÂ
You did dizzy yourself slightly but you set the bottle down. Feeling your face, hoping you hadnât broken your nose although it certainly would be bruised or sore at least, âOkay maybe I should never open wine ever again.âÂ
Your nose than began to pulse with pain, this definitely wasnât a part of your plan for sure. you covered it with one of your hands but Jungkook pulled it away. âHere let me look at it.â
âPlease tell me itâs not bleeding.â You groan, and Jungkook places his hands on both of your cheeks looking at it. You match his face and he looks genuinely concerned.Â
âWell, Iâm not a doctor but youâre still pretty cute.â He then smiles and rubs one of his thumbs on your cheek. âThatâs my professional assessment anyways.â
âOkay, but it still really hurts,â You say, letting your own hands rest on his wrists.Â
âHey, itâs probably just a bit soreâno blood, no bruise.â He gently tilts your head from side to side in a silly, exaggerated inspection that makes you giggle.Â
Itâs quiet between you both for a moment, Jungkook still holding your face. He just looks over your face for a moment, your nose was red but it was probably going to be okay. He had hurt his own nose a few times to know if it was broken.Â
Jungkookâs hands still on your cheeks, eyes meeting as he studies your face. Itâs easy to get lost in the warmth of his gaze and how close he is. A little too easy. For a second, you find yourself softening, tempted by the thought of leaning in and just letting yourself enjoy this. But then, just in time, you snap back to reality, realizing you can use this little mishap to your advantage. This damage to your nose might have actually opened up a window for what you had been working yourself up too.
You pull your face away from Jungkook and shake your head, breathing in a heavy breath. Jungkook looked a little confused but then after a moment you were crying. You were crying?Â
âHey,â he placed a hand on your shoulder, âI was just teasing you.âÂ
You wave your hands in a frantic show, your voice cracking just a little. âNo, no, itâs not you. Itâs justâŚ.â You let out a little sob. âIâm just so clumsy! And you made this beautiful dinner, and Iâve totally ruined it!â
Jungkook looks utterly bewildered now, glancing around as if the answer to your sudden breakdown might be hiding in his kitchen cabinets. âReally, I promise, you didnât mess anything up. Iâm just glad youâre okay.â He squeezes your shoulder reassuringly, almost nervously.
âUgh, I can't believe this. Iâm totally ruining the mood.â You wipe your tears away.Â
It was a good little performance. One that was planned.

The evening before.
Day 04
âThe art of crying on command.â Here you were again. Ronnie sitting next to you. Jin pacing back and forth with his notepad once again. Unfortunately for you, Jin was the person to have expertise on this subject being an acting teacher.Â
âOkay I already regret this.â You try to stand up but Ronnie pulls you back down onto Jinâs couch.Â
âThis will help you!â Ronnie protested and leaned on you once you were settled back in. âThis can be a part of your over dramatic persona you use.âÂ
âExactly! It gives you another tool in the toolbox for the charade you signed up for!â Jin pointed at you with his pen and waving it around.Â
âFine, continue.â You wave for him to go on and Jin grins.Â
âThank you! Now, there are three main techniques for crying on command,â he begins, pacing dramatically. âSome people can justâŚdo it. They snap their fingers andâbam! Tears.â He snaps his fingers for effect. âOthers need to go to a sad memory. Something personal and emotional, something that really tugs at the heartstrings. And then, of course, some people have to resort toâŚahem, creative methods. Pepper in the sinuses, maybe a little poke to the eyeâŚâ
âLetâs please avoid self-injury,â you interrupt dryly, giving him a look.
âFair enough. Letâs start with the basics and see if youâre a natural,â Jin says, jotting a note on his pad. âClose your eyes, focus, and letâs see if you can will the tears into existence.â
You sit up straight, trying your best to summon tears on command, forcing your eyes to feelâŚsad? Your face contorts into what you hope is a tearful expression, but as you blink, nothing happens. Your eyes are as dry as ever.
âNothing?â Jin sighs and makes a dramatic strike-through on his notepad, looking deeply disappointed.
âYeah, sorry,â You mutter. âNothing.â
âOkay,â Jin strikes something out on his notepad and you roll your eyes at his dramatics. âCannot cry on command. So letâs try a memory, or is there a movie scene you canât think about because it gets you teared up?âÂ
You sit and think, you have some sad memories from your childhood that you bring to the front of your mind. Reminiscing on them, although some things are sad or bittersweet, nothing tear jerking.Â
âDry.â Ronnie leans over and looks closely in your eyes, so much so you have to shove her face away from you.Â
âDry.â Jin repeats and writes on his notepad.Â
âMaybe try going to the dark place?â Ronnie snaps and looks at you. âYou always get really teary eyed when you think about dying alone.â
âOkay rude.â You sigh, it wasnât untrue. Whenever you came back from dates that were unsuccessful or you wasted your time on someone who just wanted something casual you found yourself going to, what you and Ronnie have deemed, the dark place. âI donât like thinking about that.âÂ
âItâs for science!â Ronnie cheers, throwing her arms up like it's supposed to make it more fun or something.Â
You groan, sinking deeper into the couch. âI donât know if this is such a great idea, honestly. When I start spiraling about my love life, itâs not exactlyâŚmild.â You look down, already feeling a little prick of sadness starting to stir.
Jin comes and squats in front of you, âWell then just go to the edge of it and donât think about the whole picture. What about dying alone usually gets you crying?âÂ
You think for a second, and finally, the words come out quietly. âI guess⌠I cry when I start thinking that maybe I wonât ever find someone whoâsâŚjust right for me.â
Ronnie lets out a soft âawwâ and nudges you gently.
You let yourself feel it for a momentâthe uncertainty, the nagging doubt that, maybe, youâll keep hitting dead ends. And with that, you feel a familiar, bittersweet ache starting to well up.
Jin nods approvingly, seeing a slight glimmer in your eyes. âExcellent,â he says, jotting down, potential crying trigger identified.
The vulnerability hangs in the air, and you let yourself lean into it a little. Lately, it felt harder and harder to keep going on dates, to believe that love might work out someday. You always seemed to be either too much or not enoughâloving too deeply, too slowly, too intensely. It left you feeling drained, to the point where dating felt less like romance and more like a chore.
But with Jungkook, for once, youâd felt...hopeful. Like there was someone who genuinely wanted to share a moment, who put effort into making sure you had a good time. As unintentional as it was, youâd started to feel a little spark, considering the circumstances of your forced meeting. But as soon as youâd started to believe it, you reminded yourself it was all part of the act. You couldnât let yourself actually believe it. You got your hopes up again, and they were ripped out from under you⌠again.Â
So you had slowly felt as time went on, you were losing sight of finding the one.Â
Then without even realizing it, you had a few stray tears fall from your eyes.Â
âBoom!â Jin erupted and sprang to his feet, âWe have tears!â
âă⢠*â°ă â°ăâă⢠*â°ă â°ăâă⢠*â°ă â°ă⢠*â
You gripped onto that feeling you let it force a few more tears out of your eyes. Unfortunately you did not avoid the personal injury part of the tears. So this was going really well for you.Â
You take a shaky breath, letting a few more tears roll down, making sure the sniffle that follows sounds especially pitiful. âMaybe I should just go home,â you say, voice wavering. âThis along with my day⌠itâs all just been too much. You probably think Iâm completely insane.â
You manage to start walking toward the door. Jungkook then panics for a moment, how did we go from laughing at you injuring your nose to crying and saying youâre going home? He felt like he had jumped three steps or something. You start toward the front door but Jungkook stepped around you, stopping you.Â
âWait what?â Jungkook looked confused, âHow did we get here? I donât want you to leave.â
You sniff even louder, adding just the right amount of snotty dramatics. âNo, I should. You barely know me, and here I amâan emotional wreck in your kitchen. Itâs⌠itâs too much.â
âAnd? You just hit yourself in the nose really hard. I would be a little embarrassed and want to leave too.â Jungkook places a hand on your arm, trying to comfort you. âBesides isn't the whole point of going on dates to get to know each other better?â
âI guess.â You wipe your face again, âI donât know⌠I didnât mean to just⌠fall apart like this.â
Jungkook sighs a little relieved, that could have spiraled further. âAnd just so you know, I donât think youâre crazy at all.â
âWell itâs still early, havenât had a chance to go full blown crazy yet.â Which gets a laugh out of both you and Jungkook.Â
âWell I can deal with that I think.â He gives you a small, reassuring smile. âBesides, food is still good. Wine is still out and last I checked a bruised nose doesnât stop you from eating.âÂ
âWait, is it actually bruising?â You reflexively go up to touch it, definitely tender to the touch and jungkook chuckles a little.Â
âIâm teasing. Itâs only a little red.â He takes your hand pulls you back into his apartment, with a little reluctance from you. âStay, at least for a little while. Iâm not going to let you walk out of here feeling like this.â
You blink up at him, playing up a hint of uncertainty, but inside, youâre genuinely a little taken aback. âYou really mean that?â
âOf course I do.â He tilts his head to the side trying to meet your eyes, that had been darting everywhere else out of real embarrassment. âLook, I donât care if you cry, Iâm the biggest cry baby I know!â
You manage a small, hesitant smile, as if heâs starting to get through to you. âI find that hard to believe.âÂ
Jungkook scoffs, feigning insult. âOh, donât underestimate me. Those âlost puppy finds his way homeâ commercials? Iâm done. Iâm over here pretending thereâs dust in my eyes.â
You laugh again, shaking your head. âOkay, maybe I believe you⌠just a little.â
âThere we go!â He looks genuinely pleased, his expression softening as he sees you relax. âSo, if Iâm willing to admit my crybaby tendencies, itâs only fair you stick around for dinner, right?â He tucks his bottom lip into his mouth in anticipation of your answer.Â
âAlright, Iâll stay.â You say it with an air of nonchalance, trying to mask the small spark of mischief hidden behind your agreement. It earns you a relieved, borderline triumphant smile from Jungkook.
âPhew! Youâre sparing me from a whole night of wondering if my cooking scared you off for good.â He grins, his dramatic sigh punctuating his relief.
âOh, please,â you say, rolling your eyes, feeling the perfect opening for a light jab. âIf anything, the food is what convinced me to stay.â
Jungkook then serves dinner for the both of you. You both fall into easy conversation as you eat, he really did do a great job with the food. He was very considerate of making sure you needed anything else or pouring more wine when you wanted it. As well as making you laugh at almost every single turn. You really do get it why he got girls to go home with him so easily, between this and your first date the amount of confidence and charm that exudes from him is palpable in the air.Â
Jungkook would never show it but his lack of practice with dating has actually made this date and your last the most nervous he as been in a while. Jungkookâs mind is racing, carefully cataloging every response you make, every laugh, every nod. He wantsâneedsâthis to go well, not just because heâd prefer to win $300 rather than lose it, but because, in his gut, he actually likes seeing you here, across from him. He catches himself wondering if heâs oversharing when he starts a story, or if heâs going on too long when he recounts his last trip. When you laugh at one of his stupid jokes, he relaxes a bit, but he still canât quite shake that uncertainty.Â
You decided no more theatrics for the evening and let this play out naturally, how you would play out any other evening. Anything else would tip him off that maybe you were doing this on purpose.Â
After a while the two of you had moved into the living room, you had been flipping through his records again, you didnât take a chance to look at them all earlier. He had a decent collection for sure so you got a good sense of the type of music he liked. You both had a few glasses of wine now and so the conversation had turned more and more flirtatious.Â
Noting the variety of musicâjazz, a little classic rock, some alternative stuff. âYouâve got a good taste,â you say, glancing back at him. âThis one,â you pull a record out with a slight smirk, âdefinitely says something about you.â
âOh yeah?â He grins, leaning on the side of his couch as he watches you move around his shelves. âAnd what exactly does it say?â
You tilt your head, pretending to give it serious thought. âThat youâre trying really hard to be cool. Just edgy enough.â
He laughs, though you notice he flushes slightly, brushing off your joke with a casual shrug. âHey, everyone needs a little mystery. Or at leastâŚa halfway-decent record collection.â
âIs that what youâre hiding?â you tease. âA mysterious vinyl collection? Or is it just your immense amount of fish facts?â
âWell, youâll have to stick around to find out.â The words slip out before he can stop them, and he immediately kicks himself. It feels too... eager, a bit too close to something genuine. But he manages to recover, putting on a self-assured smile. âNot everyone gets to see my hidden jazz albums.â
You laugh, setting the record back and looking at him with a raised brow. âGuess Iâll have to consider myself lucky, then.â Finding a spot back on the couch with him.Â
Jungkook shifted in his spot so his body was completely facing you now. With the alcohol having set in, his eyes were a little droopy and he was smiling but he looked boyish. He found the more he was learning about you the more he felt fine with telling you things about himself.Â
âYou look tired.â You poke his forehead. âMaybe I really should go.âÂ
âItâs barely even late.â Jungkook takes your hand, lacing your fingers with his. âIâm not tired at all.âÂ
âYour eyes tell a different story.â You laugh, leaning your head against the back of his couch.Â
âWell what else are they saying?â He smirks, finding any reason to get a compliment from you.Â
You stare at them for a minute, you were trying to come up with something clever. âWell if I am translating this right⌠I canât handle my wine.â
You laugh and Jungkook rolls his eyes, âWow how did you know?âÂ
âI have a thing for reading people.â You shrug. âWhat do mine say?â
He leans in really close looking between them. âWow this guy is so hot and charming I really want to kiss him again,â Jungkook then gasps dramatically leaning away. âThatâs scandalous, Y/N.â
âShut up.â You laugh and get up from the couch trying to leave, Jungkook's hand pulling you back to standing in front of him. âYouâre really full of yourself.â
âIâd like to think just a healthy amount.â He grins, Jungkook then places one of his hands on the back of your thigh. The warmth of his hand sends a shiver up your spine, but you do your best to keep your cool, not letting him see just how much his touch is affecting you.
You scoff with a half smile, âWeâll see about that.âÂ
Jungkooks grin widens sitting forward on his couch, both of his hands finding their way to your hips. Tracing small circles with his thumbs, making it impossible for you to think. The way he looks at youâintense, unflinching, like heâs trying to figure you outâhas you second-guessing your plans all over again, just for a second. This is what makes this hard, because the way he looks at you makes you believe every single word.
Many guys before have looked at you like this and you always fall for it, you always let yourself go for it.Â
Itâs a little difficult to remember that right now though, your mind clouded by the wine.Â
You glance down to his lap for a moment then back up to his eyes that havenât left yours. âCan I?âÂ
Jungkook just nods, allowing you to take your place on his lap. Lifting your legs to either side of his hips. Jungkook really was not intending for this night to go this way but he wasnât complaining if it had. He found you incredibly hot and would do whatever you wanted. His hands stayed planted on your hips as you found what felt comfortable.Â
âYouâre pretty.â He smiles boyishly, he really did find you gorgeous and would tell you again and again if it wouldnât be weird. The compliment makes you blush and hum.Â
âYouâre pretty too.â You lace your arms around his neck. Both of your faces coming so close together now. Breathes intermingling for a moment, asking the same question. âYou were right though.âÂ
âAbout what?â
âI do want to kiss you again.â You catch the slight hitch in Jungkook's breath at your words, the way his fingers tighten on your hips, grounding you even as your heart races. His eyes flicker from your mouth to your eyes, searching your face as though heâs almost afraid this moment might slip away.
âIâm not one to protest.â Jungkook swallows for a moment, before you took no time to close the distance between you. Pressing your lips against his soft but certain. Jungkook immediately responds tilting his head to deepen it. One of Jungkook's hands sliding up your back to bring you closer to him. The moment makes you forget everything else, as you slide your tongue into his mouth.Â
For a moment, you allow yourself to sink into it, into the surprising tenderness of his touch, the quiet intensity of his kiss. You move your hands to cup his face, relishing in how warm you are now. You felt your whole entire body heat up, and small wetness in between your legs. Oh this was not good, you cannot sleep with him this soon.Â
Oh he probably knew exactly what he was doing though.
He would know exactly where to touch you and exactly how to make you moan and you had very little issues with wanting to let him do that. It would be so worth it, it would be so good. Except it cannot go past this, for your sanity at least. You needed to cut this off somehow, expect you kind of lead the night here. His tongue in your mouth was making it incredibly difficult to be logical. You could feel him probably already getting a semi and you really could not stop thinking about grinding on him.Â
You needed to stop though. Because this is a great opportunity to drive in that wedge between the two of you. One more way to mess this situation ship up, but not ruin it completely.
As you pull away from him, leaving his lap, you mutter, âOkay⌠Goodnight.â You force yourself to stand, feigning nonchalance as you gather your things, even though every cell in your body is screaming at you to turn back around. Jungkook is left blinking at you, visibly caught off guard, his hands awkwardly suspended in the air where your hips just were. He clears his throat, collecting himself as he scrambles to follow you.
Clearing his throat. âHey⌠um woah⌠was that not good or whatever?âÂ
You pick up some of your stuff into you arm, âIt was it was good. It was great.âÂ
Oh god it was great, he was a really good kisser and your whole body was screaming at you to go back but you fought through.Â
Jungkook was confused by your answer and shook his head, as he continued to follow you, âDid⌠did I misread something? Because I was getting a vibe.â
You glance over your shoulder and manage to flash a casual smile. âNo, you didnât misread anything. I just⌠donât usually sleep with someone on the second date. Kind of a rule.â You bite your lip, keeping the truth of it hidden.
âOh.â Jungkook nods, a look of relief mixed with mild confusion crossing his face as he adjusts his shirt. âRight, totally. Cool cool cool. Thatâs more than okay and Makes sense, makes sense⌠you should have said something.â
âItâs a bit of a mood killer to say âhey, by the way, youâre not getting any,â donât you think?â You raise an eyebrow, suppressing a grin.
You gather your things, amused by his honesty, and start toward the door. Jungkook trails behind you, letting out a small puff of air as he stares at the floor. Then, after a beat, he glances up with a sly grin. âSo⌠just out of curiosity, not trying to be weird or anything, but what date number are we talking here? Fourth, fifthâŚ?â
You canât help but laugh at his question, knowing full well he has no idea youâre just messing with him. âHigher.â
He frowns, looking genuinely curious now. âSixth?â
âNope.â
âSeventh?â He leans in closer, eyes narrowed like heâs reading the answer off your face.
âHigher.â
âOkay, when do you usually?âÂ
You cross your arms, âTwelfth.âÂ
Jungkookâs face barely changes, but you can see his jaw tighten just a little as he processes this. âTwelve⌠dates,â he repeats slowly, nodding as if heâs mentally mapping it out. âI mean, sure. Thatâs totally reasonable. Not a problem.â
âReally?â you ask, surprised at his lack of pushback.
Yeah.â He shrugs, putting on a confident smile. âGuess I just have to plan ten more killer dates.â
âUh huh. Iâll believe it when I see them.â Jungkook then opens the front door for you.Â
âYou're going to keep me on my toes arenât you?â He watches you slowly step out the door with a wide grin on your face. He finds it cute and playful, he could tell you liked the chase.Â
âGoodnight Jungkook.â You say in a sing song voice, giving him a flirtatious wave as you walk up the hallway to his elevator.Â
Before you could get too far Jungkook decided to leave with just one last thing. Trotting up the hallway so he could catch you, taking your wrist and stopping you. âOne last thing.âÂ
Jungkook places a hand on your cheek and then kisses you. It surprises you but you welcome him, its one of those kisses that is so passionate and it makes your knees want to buckle out from under you in response. He uses just a little bit of tongue to send a shiver through your whole body, his hand warm against your cheek as he continues to kiss you just long enough to make you lose track of the hallway, the elevator, and everything else.Â
When he finally pulls back, his eyes are twinkling with that trademark cockiness, but thereâs something softer underneath, something that makes your heart do an unwelcome little flip. He grins, his hand lingering on your cheek for just a moment longer before letting go. âGoodnight.â
He goes back into his apartment as you retreat to the elevator. As you ride down, you let out a shaky breath, trying to process what just happened, and trying even harder to remind yourself why youâre supposed to be making him miserable. But as your lips still tingle from his kiss, youâre the one who is being thrown off balance now. This was continuing to prove to be difficult.

Day 6
Jungkook is floating on air as he gets through his next work day. So much so Hoseok has taken notice of Jungkook's change in attitude. Really his whole attitude had been different all week. Not that he was particularly grumpy before or even usually in a bad mood, but he was in a good mood.Â
It was Friday night, and the familiar hum of the weekend buzzed in the air as Jimin and Taehyung once again convinced Jungkook and Hoseok to come out for a night of fun. Jungkook had been hesitant, his thoughts lingering on you. Heâd been so busy lately, and while the dates had been great, there was something about tonight that made him want to see what plans you had before fully committing to the night out. But eventually, he decided he should just goâtime with his friends, after all, was good too. Plus, there was that whole bet to think about, and he had a chance to subtly show Jimin and Taehyung how smoothly things were going with you.
When Jungkook and Hoseok arrived at the booth, they were greeted with their usual boisterous energy. Taehyung raised his glass, grinning widely. âLook who it is!â he said, motioning to the empty seats. As they sat down, the drinks flowed easily, and the conversation began to buzz.
However, Jimin and Taehyung had something else on their mindsâJungkookâs unusually good mood. While their conversation about random topics picked up, they were both trying to pinpoint exactly what had changed in him.
âSo,â Jimin leaned forward, his voice a bit more teasing than usual, âwhatâs going on with you tonight? Youâve been, like, way too chill. Itâs freaking me out.â
Jungkook paused for a moment, a little taken aback by the sudden observation. âWhat do you mean?â
Jimin gestured at him with a mock-serious face, âYou're usually the one trying to take the night to the next level. Trying to make things more interesting. Tonight, you're just sitting here, all calm, looking like youâre, I donât know, at peace or something?â
Taehyung chuckled at the thought, leaning in with a grin. âYeah, what happened to the Jungkook who was out here doing whatever it took to keep things fun and exciting? You usually make sure the whole night has a direction. Right now, youâre, like... engaged in our conversation about cyber-security. Thatâs... not you.â
Jungkook raised an eyebrow, trying to play it cool, but he could feel the pressure mounting. He knew his friends had caught on to something, but they didnât know why he was acting different. âIâm just⌠having a good day,â he said, his voice light and casual. âNothing wrong with that, right?â
Hoseok snorted next to him and Jungkook gave him a side eye.Â
âYou definitely would have gotten someoneâs number by now but your eyes have been glued on us or on your phone this whole time.â Taehyung added on, which was usually true but Jungkook was glued to his phone. Hoping maybe he would see another text from you, secretly. Casually, in a totally normal way.Â
âSo what gives?â Jimin pokes Jungkook in the arm.Â
âItâs nothing.â Jungkook shrugged and took a sip of his drink.Â
Hoseok rolled his eyes, âItâs Y/N. The girl you set him up with for this stupid bet.âÂ
âOh.â It all clicked into place for the both of them but it was still weird, âShe totally see through your act yet?âÂ
Jungkook was caught off guard, the question cutting deeper than he expected. He shifted in his seat, suddenly feeling uncomfortable. âActually,â he began, his voice softening, âno. We had a really nice date last night. There is nothing to see through, Iâve been completely genuine.â
âOh, really?â Jimin raised a skeptical eyebrow, a grin tugging at his lips.
Hoseok, who had been mostly observing, finally chimed in with a sigh. âHeâs been in such a good mood about it all day, Iâve actually been avoiding him.â
Jungkook shot him a glare, nudging his arm. âSo thatâs why you were dodging me earlier?â
Hoseok shrugged, chuckling. âSorry, man, I just couldnât listen to you go on about Y/N again today.â
Jungkook rolled his eyes, glancing back at Jimin and Taehyung. âYou guys are acting like itâs such a big deal. Itâs just⌠going well.â
Taehyung raised a skeptical brow, his tone a bit annoyed. âSo, youâre hitting it off?â
Jungkook smirked, raising his glass. âI donât kiss and tell.â
That earned a laugh from Jimin and Taehyung. âYeah, right.â Jimin scoffed, shaking his head.
âAll Iâm saying,â Jungkook replied, his smirk widening, âis you two better get your wallets ready. In 24 days, youâre going to owe me big time.â
With a final grin, Jungkook set his glass down and excused himself, heading off to the bathroom. As soon as he was out of earshot, Jimin leaned closer to Hoseok, lowering his voice. âOkay, is it actually going well, or is he just messing with us?â
Hoseok took a sip of his drink, letting the suspense hang in the air for a moment before answering. âAll Iâll say is⌠he sent flowers.â
Jiminâs jaw dropped, and Taehyungâs eyes widened. âFlowers?â They exchanged looks of disbelief, struggling to picture Jungkookâwho hadnât done more than text after a night out for yearsâsending flowers.
âWhat kind?â Taehyung asked, still dubious. âIf they were just roses, it mightâve been for show.â
Hoseok gave an exasperated look. âSunflowers. Theyâre her favorite.â
Jimin blinked in disbelief, his jaw still halfway dropped as he processed Hoseok's words. âSunflowers?â he repeated, as if the specific flower choice made it even more surreal. âYouâre telling me Jungkook not only sent flowers but remembered her favorite kind?â
Hoseok nodded, his expression one of mild amusement. âItâs like heâs on some kind of mission. Didnât even blink when he mentioned it eitherâused it as his way to get the second date they had this week.â
Taehyung shook his head, laughing under his breath. âI donât know who this new Jungkook is, but heâs full of surprises. Sunflowers? Thatâs not just impressive; thatâs borderline romantic.â
âBorderline?â Jimin laughed, still trying to wrap his head around it. âHeâs gone full-on romance novel, and for someone heâs been seeing for, what, a week? This has to be the longest heâs been interested in anyone, like, ever.â
Taehyung let out a low whistle, chewing on his lip as he processed the surprising information. âDamn. This is serious.â
âYeah,â Hoseok said with a small smile, finding some pride in a changed Jungkook. âSo heâs not wrong when he says you guys are going to owe him. Heâs actually putting in the effort.â
Jimin and Taehyung exchanged a look, stunned but slightly impressed. Watching Jungkook send flowers, remember favorites, and put his best foot forward was newâand honestly? They both knew they might just end up eating their own words. Which made them think, was there a way for them to slow this down, make it come to a halt?
It wasnât an insane amount of money for either of them to lose, but it was much more entertaining to see Jungkook lose. Was there something they could do to mess this up but in a non asshole way?
If they didnât, Jungkook was going to win the bet, but it had already become much more a bet at this point for him.

Pairing: Dark!Joel Miller x afab!reader x Dark!Tess Servopoulos
Words count: 3829
Rating: Mature, absolutely NSFW and again, this shit is triggering. Please, read the tags carefully and if you're a minor donât interact.
Tags/warning: This happens the morning immediately after the events of Something Rotten, pov second person, no use of y/n, DEAD DOVE DO NOT EAT, heavy degradation, angst, smut, DUB CON/NON CON, reader is barely described, she has breasts and vagina, no mention of her skin tone, she doesnât blush, she has hair but itâs not described, it is mentioned that Joel's clothes are too big for her (pics are just for aesthetic and donât represent reader), the only thing is that reader's father died of lung cancer (like mine), depressive thoughts, as said in the first part: reader is held prisoner by Joel and Tess, on her leg is carved the word âpetâ (Tess did it), use of a knife, groping, a large amount of bites, mention of wounds, mention of bruises, no kindness whatsoever towards reader, Joel and Tess are both EVIL, fingering (Tess receiving), oral (Tess receiving) spitting, nipples sucking and biting (it's not my ff if there is no attention towards nipples OKAY), unprotected p in v (both f receiving, wrap it up IRL), pussy slapping, cum eating, Joel comes on readerâs face, pissing, a little more scissoring, a little bit of chocking, squirting, brief insert of reader's thoughts in italics⌠I think itâs all đ
If I notice I've forgotten something important I'll add it right away.
A/N: Title comes from a Placebo song called Bright Lights. It seemed right to continue with them since "Something Rotten" is also one of their songs. Anyway, I leave you the entire playlist that I listened to while I was writing both this and the first part and again thank you very much to those who recommended songs to me âĽď¸
There is something of my experience and pain in this so please be particularly kind. English is not my first language and I have no beta, I apologize for any mistakes. I hope you enjoy it, thank you so much to anyone who reads it.
[I started a tag list, if you want to be added let me know, I never tag people because I don't want to impose anything on anyone but if you like it I'm happy too âĽď¸ ]
Your mind is completely clouded. You open your eyes and for a moment you donât remember where you are, you rub your eyes, feeling your aching body awaken, the pain of every joint coming back to you. You reach out and press a spot on your stiff neck, a stab of pain shooting up your brain like a gunshot and then sliding down your spine, making you grit your teeth to stifle a moan.
You shut your eyes as images of what happened flash before your eyes, a piercing pain taking over your head.
You donât know how much time has passed but when you manage to sit up, biting the pain between your lips, you see a bright light coming in through the dirty window, a speck of dust stirring in the beam of light that illuminates the messy bed, the crumpled sheets and the two people lying on it. Tess is on her side, her arms folded, her hands resting on the pillow, near her head. There is always a kind of tension in her, you see it even when she is sleeping, in her huddled body that seems ready to attack and unleash its claws on anyone. She is wearing nothing but panties and Joelâs shirt left open, revealing the outline of her breasts.Â
She should disgust you, but instead as soon as you see one of her nipples poking out from under her shirt salive pools into your mouth. You put a hand to your forehead, overwhelmed by yourself, by what you feel and by a shame that creeps up inside you and makes your temples throb.
This is so wrong. Yet you would like to lace your lips on that little button and suck it, if only she would let you do it, if only she would let you lie next to her gently, allowing you to be the good pet she expects you to be.
Shifting your gaze to Joel doesn't help soothe your twisted mind. Heâs on the other side, lying on his back, in his boxers, your eyes wander on the defined muscles on his chest, the softness of his belly, and a strip of sunlight hitting his abdomen highlighting hair leading to his groin.Â
He seems carved out of a block of marble, skimmed by scars, exuding power and sex, the tips of your fingers graze your swollen lips and you still feel his taste, the weight of his cock on your tongue, his relentless thrusts, his hungry eyes on you.Â
They must have fallen asleep, which gave you some respite even if you donât feel rested at all.
You look at your thigh and it's still there, the pulsing sign that you should leave, just run while you can, sneak out of this place quietly and look for somewhere to hide. But you feel like a mouse in a cage, your body not moving an inch. Youâre still untied; it would take nothing to reach the door and close it behind you. But what if they woke up? If they felt the bed lighten with your weight? You know they'd have you back in an instant.Â
Your brain, you can't decide whether very stupidly or very wisely, thinks that it is better not to make any risky moves to stay alive.Â
Helpless and desperate you lie back on the bed staring at the ceiling, the silence broken only by Joel's soft snoring.
Your arms spread across the bed as you sink into your thoughts and your fingers casually graze the knife abandoned on the sheets. The coldness of the blade sends a chill down your spine.
You have to do something for yourself. At least try. You cannot be so spineless. You move one leg off the bed, your eyes fixed on your captors, seeming not to notice anything so you move the other leg as well, letting yourself slide cautiously along the edge of the bed, finally resting both feet on the floor. You pick up the closest garment you can find on the ground, it's a Joel T-shirt, wide and long enough to cover your butt. You just have to get up, you can do it. Leaning your weight on your legs feeling your knees crack in the effort, you wonder what in your body is not sore. You are on your feet. Joel and Tess are motionless in the same position as before. You walk on the floor resting your toe and then your heel, silent and terrified like a prey trying to evade before falling into the lion's jaws, hoping that the wood will not creak under your gait. You reach for the door. You almost make it. Just rest your hand on the handle and lower it. A moment and you're out of here. As soon as your hand touches the cold metal you hear a voice behind you, âWhere do you think you're going?âÂ
You feel your heart falling out of your chest, freezing where you are, your eyes at the door, your breath getting heavy.
âTurn aroundâ
You do it slowly, praying you don't feel a blow immediately afterward. Joel is standing in front of you. âPleaseâ your voice is a barely audible whisper âplease.â
Joel reaches out, grabs you by the wrist âno fucking wayâÂ
He doesn't add anything more, he takes you back to the bed, forcibly lays you down and lies on top of you. His eyes look at you fiercely, he drops down next to your ear âmaybe I was wrong about you, you're not the good pet I thought you were. Let me teach you your priorities straightâ he growls, his voice low, sharp.Â
His body weighs down on you, completely overpowering you, his legs blocking yours, his hands resting on the sheets on either side of your face.Â
"I give you credit for that. You were brave to think you could sneak away. But also incredibly stupid." His voice vibrates close to your ear, it is eerily calm and controlled, sounding as if it came from the darkest part of him, straight from his gut.
A lump rises from the pit of your stomach to your throat, sickening. "I'm sorry," you stammer, Joel's eyes lighting up with that sinister hue you now know like the back of your hand.Â
He retrieves the knife from above the bed and places the blade under the fabric of the T-shirt, cutting through the sleeves and tearing it from the neck to the hem, reducing it to a shred of fabric lying beneath you. You tremble when the icy blade touches your skin.
His boxer-covered erection presses against your thigh, against your wound.Â
Again you wonder what substance your mind is now made of because feeling him against you, demanding, claiming your body, makes your pleasure slide down your legs. You can feel it on your skin, a shiver, a wetness, a trickle of you leaving you to become his. You mold under him, relaxing your muscles, ceasing to resist, submitting to his stern eyes nailing you to the bed.Â
He takes your hands and intertwines them possessively with his own as his legs push between yours, forcefully spreading them apart.
He crawls on you like a rabid dog, inhaling your scent on your neck, down to your sternum, reaching your breast, licking the skin above your ribcage âYou were Robert's, weren't you?âÂ
His teeth close on one of your nipples, biting it, your back arches pushing against his mouth, demanding more. âThis? It's mine now.â he whispers in a rough voice âThis is mine too.â he adds, twisting the other nipple, he moves one hand to your mound, grabbing it âWhat about this wet pussy? She's mine too. I own you now. Make sure you donât forget that, you little cock slaveâ
And you feel it again. The desire coursing down your body, clinging to your nerves, flowing into the middle of your thighs.Â
It lingers on you deeply. And youâre pleading at that. Before you sense your own voice saying it, like it doesnât belong to you, coming out of someoneâs else body âPleaseâ you babble âplease, moreâ as he run a single finger through your folds.
Everyone you knew died. Every person you loved is gone, ruined by the spreading epidemic. Except your father, who passed away a few years before the pandemic broke out, obliterated by lung cancer. You still remember his jagged, exhausted breathing getting more and more labored, small and thin, until it died out completely. You still remember the smell of the hospital room, the dimness, your gripped heart, your silent tears. It was something you never wanted to see, the moment when death takes someone. It stays inside, digs deep into you, rattles in the walls of your brain until one day it subsides and remains a creeping awareness you have to live with. A brick in your pocket that will forever weigh of absence, of pain, of lack.
And when you thought maybe you could make it, one day when the brick seemed lighter, pandemic came and your mother turned into a monster. From a fragile woman, still bent by your father's absence, to a ferocious beast with bloodshot eyes that tried to break your neck.
You had had to tear it down yourself, with your own strength, that thing your mother had turned into. And you couldn't explain it for days, or how you had done it, or what had happened. People were running around terrified, not knowing where to take refuge, not knowing if it would ever end. Until they came and loaded you onto trucks, promising to escort you to a safe area. What you were not told was that there was no solution, for some of you there was not even a place in the QZ. The epidemic took away not only the people you cared about but also your dreams, every hope you had for your future, every plan to become a good teacher, to accompany young minds in creating a better world. There is nothing left to create, only destruction.
You could have offered yourself as a teacher in the Qz but you had decided not to bow to a system that spread only government propaganda, instilling in kids that there was nothing else to believe in but FEDRA.Â
And even in the face of desperation the cruelty had not stopped, some soldiers had tried to take you at night, traumatized and without strength, you had been saved only by the good heart of one of your neighbors who had defended you. You had jumped out of the truck, along with him and some other people, looking for an alternative that would never come. They had fallen like skittles, one after another. You were tired of seeing it, the cold hand of death reaching out to everyone around you.Â
Your heart still aches horribly, but after all, a heart that hurts is a heart that works. And you're still alive.Â
He takes the finger away and shoves it in his mouth, enjoying the taste of you and then heâs close to your ear again grazing you with his beard and graveling âI knew you were a little slut,â Joel's heavy breath warms your skin, driving your being back into your body. âWhen I'm done with you you'll want nothing more than to be my brainless whoreâ
Youâre bucking your hips against him, mindlessly, while he takes your body with his mouth and hands, furiously licking, biting and groping your flesh, moving impatiently over you on the bed and waking Tess up. She takes a few seconds to focus, abruptly recovered from a deep sleep, but then you hear her dry voice, âoh, are you having fun without me?âÂ
Joel does not tell her that you tried to escape. which in itself is a miracle for you. He turns to her just a moment, leaving your nipple with a loud pop .
âComeâ he tells her, and it's almost sweet. Almost. Tess comes crawling up on the bed like a feline and looks down at you, smiling cruelly.Â
âLie on top of her, make sure this bitch doesn't moveâ Tess nods, he makes room for her, and she crushes you with all her weight, her scarred back against your tits, as if you were a mat, clinging to your arms as Joel watches the scene smugly "Quite a picture" he growls.
He pulls down Tess's panties, tossing them aside. He does the same with his boxers. âThis is exactly what I want. Two pretty cunts all for meâÂ
He stoops to observe you both, his eyes roaming your sexes, his thumb touching you first, a creamy river in between your folds, and then Tess. She snorts âwill you hurry up?â
âmmm you're not wet enough honey, but we can fix thatâ
âHoneyâ, you think he is the only person who can call Tess that. Anyone else would be out of balls in a heartbeat.Â
He buries his face in her cunt and you feel Tess stiffen on top of you, her whole body reacting to the first touch of Joel's tongue. You seem to catch a glimpse of submerged fragility behind all that violence and resentment she always displays.
She grips your wrists in a vice as her hips rise toward Joel and a low, deep moan escapes from her throat.Â
Joel's fingers run hard and calloused over your folds, collecting what drips from you and spreading it over Tess's pussy, mixing your essences, then returning to lick her. And you can feel her, crumbling on top of you, conceding willingly, every muscle in her asking for more.
Each lapping of Joel's tongue on her vibrates over your body like a wave, Tess's butt sliding over your folds, crawling over your clit, giving you reflex stimulation.
âMmmm just like that, baby, thatâs fucking goodâÂ
She whines so sweetly under his ministration, an undertone so vulnerable and tender in her voice you almost think she turned into another person. And you are in the front row watching this, a silent witness to the other Tess, the one who still has a shred of humanity hidden within her.
Itâs unique, you think, how sex with the right person, a person we care about, a person we share a path with, makes us. Defenseless, no mask to wear against the world. Even Tess, perhaps the coldest woman youâve ever met.Â
âNice and drippyâ Joel murmurs, nuzzling at Tessâs cunt âfucking gorgeousâÂ
He dips his nose in there, moving through her folds up to her clits, brushing the tip over it. âYou smell so good, babe, such an nice mess for me to feast onâÂ
âFuckâ Tess gasps âjust fuck meâÂ
âYeah baby, Iâm going to stretch you both so damn rightâÂ
Tess rolls her eyes in twisted need, impatient like the bossy woman she still is and you whine like the shy mess that you are.Â
So different and yet ready for the same cock.Â
You noticed the way Joelâs voice soften when he speaks to Tess, the intimacy between them is palpable, in this moment youâre just an appendage.Â
You want that desperately, belong to someone, to him, to her, to feel his voice and his whole body going unshielded for you.Â
Joel spits into his palm and takes his cock in his fist, pumping it and then tapping the tip on her cunt, once, twice, three times, rubbing it on her folds, lubricating it with her juices, before getting it all the way inside her. Tess's body arches so desperately over yours, merging with Joel's as he begins to thrust inside her.
She thrashes on top of you, clinging to your forearms, pushing you back against the mattress, her hips swaying over yours again giving secondhand attention to your clit, now so swollen and needy that each thrust you emit a moan in sync with her, shyly participating in her pleasure. You bend your neck slightly to one side to look at Joel standing before you, bronze and sculptural, a cruel god who leaves you breathless. His chest glistens in the dim sunlight streaming in through the window, revealing tiny droplets of sweat beading on him, a grin painted on his face, brows furrowed, lost in Tess's wet walls, focused on pounding on her special spot again and again.
âYou like that huh? You like this cock splitting you, yeah, I know you do, fuck youâre so drenched I could take a bath in it, all slippery and warm...mmm baby, just like that. Take it.â
He rests a hand on her belly to hold her more firmly, a sense of possession different from that manifested with you, purer and deeper, made up of silent, recurring gestures between them. It's as if you feel it all the way down into your stomach as he sinks into her, the forced closeness making you almost delirious, sensitive and wanting.
Tess is almost at her peak, sliding on you now unceasingly, her back kneading your breasts, up and down, your nipples impossibly hard against her skin, she stammers "there- there- I'm almost there- oh fuck"
"Not yet, baby, hold it back" he challenges her and she growls in disappointment and frustration, as he comes out of her. Joel brushes against you "it's time to put this slut in her place. You want it huh?" he roars as he looks at you "I can see it from here, you're flowing like a fucking river, clenching around nothing like a whoreâÂ
His eyes sparkle with evil. He spits on your cunt, a glob of saliva right on your clit. He spreads it quickly over your entrance and thrusts into you unceremoniously, all the way down, in one breath-breaking stroke. "You're full now huh? Clench around my shaft, bitchâÂ
You feel your walls strangle his cock, eager to hold him inside, to belong to him, to be broken through. "Yes" you moan, not even sure why you had tried to run away from this anymore. Tess wouldn't even need to hold you with her whole body but you'll never say it, the way she bounces on top of you drives you crazy. You are back on the scene now, eager, drunk with a dark, all-consuming desire burning in your veins.
He grips your hips hard, digging his fingers into your thighs, going out and back in you harder, deeper each time, using your cunt as his personal toy, beating on your cervix as if he were to fill it with bruises. And you don't care, welcoming each thrust as if it were the last thing you will ever receive.
Your mouth proceeds alone, bellowing and wailing each moan like an off-key song you can't stop singing, irrepressible, obscene, feverish.
"You're tight for a whore, pet, but don't worry, I'll take care of it." Joel grunts, Tess echoes you, her harsh voice protesting uselessly to let her finish, her legs wrap around Joel's waist claiming him but he is focused on ruining you now with the cruel and unrelenting force he has not reserved for her.
Her nails sink into the skin of your arms, you feel them barely disconcerted by Joel's stabs but a tiny part of your brain knows they will leave more marks on you.Â
There is nothing gentle about it, no attention, no care, just animalistic thrusts that make your body shake like an earthquake.Â
You are less, obviously less, but you are still something.
Tess turns on you, looking into your eyes, lowering a hand to your clit, rubbing it furiously and then colliding it with her own, clit against clit, pressed together in sloppy kissing, hips rocking back and forth, sliding up to the point where Joel joins obscenely with you, seeking on her own the finish Joel has not yet given her by using your body.
âOh fuck, yes,â she screeches, "here we go little slut, give it all to me" biting your skin on the marks Joel left, on your neck, on your tits, sucking your nipples between her lips, unrestrained. She's a wild amazon riding you, untamed, fierce and mean, teeth, tongue and hips demanding no permission and taking from your body what they want.Â
And then again her hand descends between you to rub her clit as her knuckles press against yours, squirting letting out a guttural sound, flooding you, Joel's cock and the sheets.Â
Joel growls at the vision âoh thatâs fucking right, babe, yeah spurt all over me, FUCK, so goodâ
And you lose yourself, your sanity flying out the window with your attempts to escape, you are caged by Tess's body, hammered by Joel's cock, you feel their eyes on you looking fiercely, them calling you their slut again and again, that's all you can do.Â
Tess pulls away from you, Joel holds you firmly by the hips, his face contorts into a grimace, he bites his lower lip as he thrusts himself possessively into you, reaches down and puts a hand around your neck, squeezing your pulse point, smiling cruelly as your air diminishes and your mind becomes rarefied âkeep it up slut, milk meâ and she scolds him âyou can't cum inside herâ.
âFuckâ he snorts "you're right". The grip on your neck loosens and you gasp, panting hard, trying to regain oxygen.
Joel slaps your pussy hard with his hand open, ordering: âon your knees, pet.â
You sit complacently on your lap on the bed, uncertain of what he wants to do. Tess is at your side, sneering.Â
âStick out your tongue for me.â He says harshly, Tess's hand bends your back, making you squat, waiting.Â
âGood kittenâ Joel grunts stroking his cock up and down, the angry red tip aimed at you. You don't realize it in time that long, thick, streaks of cum hit your face, your mouth, slide down your chin. You close your eyes just a moment before you feel his semen hit your eyelashes and run thickly down your cheek.
âMmm now you look just like a proper slutâ Tess giggles wickedly, then pauses "In fact no, we can do better". She grabs you by the arm, drags you naked as a maggot into the bathroom, and gets you on your knees inside the tub. âHold stillâ she barks at you. You close your eyes, trembling, not knowing what to expect, until you feel something warm hit your forehead, run down your face, partially wash the cum off. An acrid, pungent smell makes its way into your nostrils. As soon as it reaches your lips you realize.Â
You open your eyes, clouded by Tess's piss, her degrading gaze penetrating your bones along with Joel's laughter, standing in the bathroom enjoying the show.Â
âNow you're perfect.â

Itâs late, the kind of quiet that comes when the night has softened everything into shadows. You and Tyler are back in the motel room, tangled together in bed like itâs the most natural thing in the world. His arm drapes over you, and youâre curled into his side, your head on his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his breathing. The scent of whiskey lingers between you, mingling with the warmth of his skin, and you can still taste him faintly on your lips. Another night, another round of kisses exchanged under the dim motel lights, like something fragile and fleeting.
He stirs, his hand brushing along your back, and you wonder if heâs on the edge of sleep or just drifting in that space in between like you are. For a moment, youâre tempted to ask him the question thatâs always on the tip of your tongue: What are we doing?
Instead, you stay silent, breathing in sync with him, wondering if he can feel the way your heart skips each time he holds you like this. He shifts, drawing you a little closer, and you catch a glimpse of something in his expressionâsomething soft, maybe even vulnerable. But itâs gone as quickly as it came.
âHey,â he murmurs, his voice low and slightly slurred. âYouâre comfortable, right?â His hand rests at the curve of your hip, fingers grazing your skin in a way that sends a shiver through you.
You nod, managing a quiet, âYeah. Always.â You know heâll pretend he doesnât remember this in the morning, brush it off like itâs nothing, and youâll let him because itâs easier that way. But tonight, you can pretend a little tooâthat these quiet moments mean the same to him as they do to you.
You close your eyes, listening to his heartbeat beneath your ear, wondering how much longer you can keep pretending before youâre forced to admit the truthâto yourself, if not to him.
Then, out of nowhere, he says, âSo⌠I just found out Iâm being inducted into the PBR Hall of Fame.â
You blink, lifting your head from his chest to look at him. A smile lights up your face. âTyler, thatâs amazing! I mean, I knew you were a big deal, but⌠Hall of Fame?â
He chuckles softly, scratching the back of his head with that familiar modesty. âYeah, kinda crazy, huh? Guess all those years getting tossed around finally paid off.â
You laugh, knowing heâs downplaying it. Youâve seen some of those old videos, clips of him taking on bulls with more force and heart than anyone youâd ever met.Â
âNo one deserves it more than you,â you say softly, feeling that familiar warmth in your chest. âIâm so proud of you.â
A faint blush colors his cheeks as he looks away, and then, clearing his throat, he glances back at you.Â
âThanks, means a lot,â he says, his voice softer. Then, after a moment, he adds, âActually⌠I get a plus one to the induction ceremony. I was thinking maybe youâd want to come with me?â
Your heart skips at that. He doesnât even pause to consider anyone else; heâs asking you. For a moment, you feel a surge of excitement that maybe this is more than just a friendly invite. But just as quickly, doubt seeps in. If he had a girlfriend, heâd take her, wouldnât he? A familiar ache settles in your chest, the quiet reminder that maybe this is just about convenience for him.
âAre you sure?â you ask, trying to keep your voice steady, and casual. âI mean, you could take anyone.â
He glances at you with a soft smile, his eyes sincere. âNah. Canât think of anyone better. Youâd come, right?â
The words are on the tip of your tongueâOf course, Iâll go.Â
Instead, you hesitate, just for a second, wondering if this is just a placeholder invitation until he finds someone to fill the spot heâs never openly said he wants to be filled. But you canât bear the thought of missing the moment, so you nod, managing a smile. âYeah, Iâd love to.â
He grins, pulling you back into his chest, and you settle against him, feeling the warmth of his arm around you. But even as you breathe him in, letting the steady beat of his heart calm you, a question begins to take root in your mind. Where do we really stand, Tyler?
Itâs a question you keep to yourself, swallowing it down as you close your eyes and listen to the silence settle around you once again.
* * * * *
The ballroom buzzed with energy and anticipation, and you could sense the excitement radiating from Tyler beside you. The event space was elegantly decorated, with every table set with crystal glasses and gleaming silverware. But you hardly noticed any of it; all your focus was on Tyler. This was his night. And you were honored to be here with him, even if you didnât quite know what that meant for the two of you.
You eventually found your way to your seats near the front of the room, and Tylerâs hand brushed against yours as you sat down. His fingers lingered just a moment, a subtle contact that sent a rush of warmth up your arm.Â
Before you could say anything, the lights dimmed as the emcee took to the stage, announcing the start of the ceremony. The audience fell quiet, and Tylerâs hand was warm on your knee, a comforting weight that made your heart race. You glanced down at his hand, then back up to his face, wondering if he even realized the effect he had on you.
A part of you wanted to reach for his hand again, to close the gap between you both once and for all, but you stayed still, holding your breath as the ceremony began.
As the awards were announced one by one, you couldnât help but steal glances at Tyler. He seemed to sit straighter with each name called, his eyes never leaving the stage. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the emcee announced Tylerâs name, and the room burst into applause. You clapped the loudest, your heart swelling with pride.
You watched as Tyler walked to the stage, his stride steady and confident, shoulders back with that natural charisma he carried wherever he went. When he accepted his award, he stood there with his plaque, his gaze scanning the crowd until it landed on you. The spotlight hit his face, highlighting the small, crooked smile you knew so well. And his eyesâdark, intense, focused on youâseemed to say something unspoken.
You felt your breath catch, frozen under his gaze, and for a second, it was like you were the only two people in the room.
His acceptance speech was simple and heartfelt. He thanked the people who had been there with him through the highs and lows. He spoke of long, hard days, the sacrifices heâd made, and the passion that drove him. But you couldâve sworn that when he mentioned his gratitude for âthe people who kept him grounded,â his eyes found you once again.
As Tyler wrapped up his speech and made his way back to his seat, you barely had a chance to process the pride you felt for him, for everything heâd accomplished. But that brief moment when heâd looked at you on stage lingered in your mind, wrapping around you like a warm embrace. Could it have meant something more?
He sat back down next to you, and you leaned over, unable to keep the smile from your face. âThat was incredible, Ty. Iâm so proud of you.â
He looked at you, a soft chuckle escaping as he rubbed the back of his neck. âThanks. I think I mightâve fumbled a little bit up there.â
âNot even close,â you replied, squeezing his arm. âYou were perfect.â
The atmosphere at the afterparty was more relaxed, a contrast to the formality of the ceremony.
The room buzzes with laughter and clinking glasses, everyone here to celebrate the achievements of legends, past and present. Youâre standing beside Tyler, trying to blend into the background of the roomâs energy. But then, without warning, Tyler reaches for your hand, his fingers brushing yours before intertwining them completely. Itâs such a small gesture, but it sends a rush of warmth through you. He glances at you, his eyes searching yours for a brief moment, almost as if heâs silently asking if this is okay, if youâre okay. You squeeze his hand, hoping heâll understand that, yes, this is more than okay.
âCome on, thereâs someone I want you to meet,â he says, his voice low and soft. He leads you through the crowd toward a man with a broad smile and lines etched deep around his eyesâTylerâs old mentor. Tyler introduces you with a genuine warmth that makes you feel like you belong here, like youâre not just an accessory to his big night but someone he wants by his side.
As they begin chatting, Tylerâs hand drifts to your waist, his fingers pressing lightly into your hip as he pulls you closer, fitting you against his side. You feel a warmth blossom in your chest, and for a moment, the nagging doubts youâd been harboring vanish. His mentor jokes about old times, and Tyler laughs, giving your waist a small squeeze as if to share the moment with you. You let yourself lean into him, letting his warmth melt away the walls youâd tried to build around your heart.
But then, as the conversation comes to a close, he lets go. Just like that, his hand falls from your waist, and he takes a step back, sliding his hands into his pockets, a casual smile on his face. He glances around the room, no longer focused on you, and the sudden distance sends a chill down your spine. Youâre standing side by side, but the connection feels fractured, like a missed beat. He begins walking next to you, his attention now elsewhere, no hand-holding, no gentle touches to keep you close.
Half an hour later youâre standing next to Tyler, trying to stay engaged with the conversation heâs having with an old friend he used to ride with, someone who knows a side of him youâve only heard about in stories. Tylerâs posture is easy, his laugh warm and unguarded in a way that you rarely get to see. You watch him as he reminisces, letting yourself get lost in the sound of his laughter, in the way his eyes light up with a spark of the past. But as they continue to talk, it becomes clear that heâs in his own world, like youâre not even there.
The laughter between them grows, each memory shared drawing them further back into the years before you knew him. You shift your weight, feeling a slight ache in your chest as you realize just how separate you feel from this part of his life. A sense of loneliness creeps in, one you canât shake, and you find yourself glancing toward the bar. Maybe a drink will help dull the sting.
You start to turn, your heart heavy, but just then, you feel Tylerâs hand reach out, his fingers wrapping gently around yours. The touch is so familiar, so comforting, and for a brief second, that hopeful warmth flickers back to life.Â
You glance over your shoulder, catching his eye, a hint of something unreadable there.
âYou okay?â he asks, his voice quieter, as if trying to break through to you despite the noise around.
You swallow, forcing a smile to cover the twinge of sadness thatâs growing in your chest. âYeah,â you say softly, nodding toward the bar. âJust thirsty. Thought Iâd grab a drink.â
He nods, giving your hand a slight squeeze before letting go, turning back to his friend with that easy laugh that now feels like a barrier you canât quite cross. You turn away, your heart sinking as you walk toward the bar, feeling the absence of his hand like a chill creeping over your skin. You canât help but feel a pang of disappointment that settles heavy and cold. Just moments ago, he was intertwining your fingers, holding you close with his hand on your waist, like you were more than just a companion for the night.
How did it change so quickly? How did he go from holding you, grounding you with those intimate touches, to leaving you in this limbo of almost but not quite? You realize that, despite how much he means to you, thereâs a line between you that he doesnât seem ready to cross. And that thought hurts more than you want to admit.
Youâre leaning against the bar, lost in thought, when a voice breaks through the noise, smooth and warm. âHey there. You look like you could use some company.â
You glance up to find a guy with a charming grin and a relaxed confidence thatâs instantly disarming. He extends a hand. âEli Vastbinder,â he says. âI donât think weâve met.â
For a moment, youâre taken off guard, but you shake his hand and introduce yourself, motioning to where Tylerâs standing in the distance. âIâm here with Tyler Owens.â
At the mention of Tylerâs name, a flicker of somethingâmaybe disappointment, maybe surpriseâcrosses Eliâs face before he recovers his smile. âOwens, huh? How do you know the Tornado Wrangler?â
You canât help but laugh at the nickname, feeling some of the tension ease as you explain. âWe work together. I help him run his YouTube channel.â
Eliâs gaze shifts from Tyler back to you, a curious glint in his eye as if heâs sizing up the situation. He doesnât linger on it for long, though, before flashing you a daring smile. âSo, just coworkers, huh? In that case, you wouldnât mind if I bought you a drink?â
The question lingers, sparking a twist of hesitation in your chest. You glance over at Tyler, hoping for some kind of sign, some acknowledgment of what youâre feeling. Your eyes meet his, and he offers you a casual smile before turning his attention back to his friend. The moment leaves you coldâanother reminder of all the times heâs pulled you close, only to leave you feeling as if youâre just out of reach.
You turn back to Eli, a decision settling in your mind. Tyler isnât claiming you. He never has. And heâs had five years to do so.
You give Eli a small smile. âSure, why not?â
Eliâs grin widens as he orders your drink, leaning in just slightly as he asks about your work with Tyler. Heâs charming, effortlessly making you feel seen and appreciated. Thereâs a warm intensity in his gaze, like heâs genuinely interested in hearing about your life, in learning the pieces of you that Tyler seems to take for granted. You laugh at his jokes, leaning in as he tells stories about the crazy things heâs seen on the road. Every so often, his hand brushes yours, sending a little thrill through youâlike something you havenât allowed yourself to feel in far too long.
It doesnât take long for you to feel the weight lifting from your shoulders. Thereâs no ambiguity with Eli; his attention is clear, unburdened by mixed signals or unspoken boundaries. Itâs refreshing, exciting, even, to be the center of someoneâs focus without second-guessing their intentions.
You glance over at Tyler once more, but heâs still wrapped up in conversation, seemingly unaware of the ache youâve carried alone. A part of you wants him to notice, to see whatâs happening, to finally feel the urgency youâve held onto for years. But thereâs another part of you thatâs finished waiting.
As you turn back to Eli, you find yourself smiling, the kind of smile that feels like letting go.
Youâre laughing at something Eli just said, a relaxed warmth in your chest thatâs been missing around Tyler lately, when you feel a familiar presence behind you. You glance back, and there he isâTyler, wearing that easy smile thatâs disarmed you a hundred times before. He leans close, his hand slipping around your waist, fingers warm and possessive against your hip. âHey there, darlinâ,â he greets, the pet name rolling off his tongue as naturally as the smirk tugging at his lips.
But Tyler doesnât stop there. His gaze shifts to Eli, assessing him for a beat, and then extends a hand. âI see youâve met my date,â he says, voice casual but with a certain edge, like a claim staked.
You freeze, glancing up at him, surprised and confused by his sudden assertiveness. Eliâs expression mirrors your ownâslightly perplexed, eyebrows lifting as he takes Tylerâs hand and shakes it firmly. His eyes flicker back to you, questioning. âDate? I thought you two were just coworkers,â he remarks, eyes shifting meaningfully to Tylerâs hand, still resting on your hip.
Before you can answer, Tyler lets out a dismissive scoff, as if the notion of you two being âjust coworkersâ is absurd. âCoworkers?â he echoes, his hand tightening just a fraction. âYeah, weâre a little closer than that.â He shoots a look at you thatâs both playful and possessive.
You feel your blood simmer, heat rising in your chest at the presumption in his tone. As if youâre some claim he can lay when itâs convenient, without any real commitment. You step out of his grip, your voice firm as you say, âWe are just coworkers.â The words come out sharper than you intend, but you donât soften them.
Tylerâs smile falters, his brow furrowing, but youâve already turned away, excusing yourself quickly to Eli before slipping out toward the exit.
Humiliation washes over you, prickling your skin as you push through the crowd, needing fresh air, needing space. You had been enjoying a perfectly nice conversation with Eli, feeling appreciated and even flattered, until Tyler decided to swoop in and turn the moment into something possessive and confusing.
As you reach the hallway, you feel a sharp sting behind your eyes. Tears blur your vision, and you blink them back, furious with yourself for letting Tyler get to you like this. Youâre tiredâtired of being in his orbit only when he wants you to be, of being treated as something more only when it suits him. Because heaven forbid another guy notices you.
The hallway is quiet, save for the soft murmur of voices drifting from the ballroom as you stand there, waiting for the elevator. The moment stretches, tense and thick, when you hear his footsteps behind you, his voice calling your name.
You donât turn around. âTyler⌠donât.â The plea is barely above a whisper, but he ignores it, closing the distance between you, his face etched with frustration.
âWhat was he doing back there?â he asks, motioning down the hall toward the ballroom, his tone hard, possessive. âFlirting with you like he has a chance?â
Your heart twists painfully at his words. His tone says it allâlike he assumes youâre his, like itâs obvious. Like you should know.
But youâre done with the assumptions. The words spill out before you can stop them, thick with months, years, of unspoken hurt. âAnd why would you care, Tyler?â Your voice cracks, and you feel the first tear slip down your cheek, quickly followed by another. âItâs not like weâre together, right? You said it yourselfâweâll never be anything more than friends. Weâre justâŚâ You falter, searching for the right words, but the truth tumbles out, raw and painful. âWeâre just really close, and we make out sometimes. Nothing more.â
The weight of it hangs in the air, and you can see the impact of your words in the way his face falls, his expression softening, regretful.Â
âHey,â he murmurs, reaching out, but you shake your head, a mix of anger and sadness bubbling to the surface.
âNo, Tyler.â You step back, keeping the space between you. âIâm done. Iâm done with this⌠with you.â Your voice shakes, but the conviction is there, clear and sharp. âIâm done not being good enough. Done being yours only when you want someone on your arm or in your bed. I canât keep doing this.â You wipe a tear from your cheek, gathering whatever strength you have left. âIâm done with everything. Our friendship. The channel. All of it.â
The elevator dings, and the doors slide open with a quiet chime. You glance back at him one last time, taking in the hurt and confusion in his eyes.Â
âGo back to the party, Tyler. Itâs your night. You deserve it.â
You step into the elevator, pressing the button as the doors start to close. The last thing you see before they shut is him standing there, looking lost and completely, utterly alone.
Back in the quiet solitude of the hotel room, you feel the emotions from the hallway encounter with Tyler crash over you. Itâs almost overwhelming, but you shake your head, determined to focus on the immediate task. You kick off your heels and reach for the zipper at the back of your dress, letting it slide down as the gown falls in a pool around your feet. You step out of it, scooping it up to drape over the chair, and head to your bag, ready to change and leave before you can overthink it.
Digging through your clothes, you pull out the first shirt, but frustration prickles at you when you realize itâs one of Tylerâs. With an annoyed huff, you toss it on the bed. You dig deeper, pulling out another⌠his again. Why didnât I pack more of my own clothes? you think bitterly, remembering that his shirts have been your usual comfort, your routine.
Finally, you find one of your own t-shirts and pull it on, then slide into a pair of jeans. You run a hand over your face, taking a deep breath to keep yourself from falling apart, and open your suitcase, methodically folding the rest of your things and stowing them away. As you pack, a plan begins to form, each step sounding clearer in your mind. Youâll finish packing, get a car downstairs to a nearby hotel for the night, and fly back tomorrow. It might be an awkward plane ride home, but youâll put in headphones, turn away, and then⌠youâll walk away from Tyler James Owens for good.
With your bag nearly ready, you look around the room one last time, eyes falling on the small pile of his things on the bed. His shirts, the ones youâve wrapped yourself in so many times, now just reminders of all the blurred lines that never became anything real. You turn away, inhaling deeply to steady yourself, willing the resolve to carry you through whatever comes next.
You reach for the handle of your suitcase, ready to walk out of Tylerâs life for good, when the hotel room door opens behind you. Your heart races, and for a second you want to pretend you donât notice him there, but when you turn, his expression says heâs already figured out exactly whatâs happening. His eyes drop to the half-packed suitcase, then back to your face. His look of confusion shifts into something desperate.
âPlease,â he says, his voice softer than youâve ever heard it, almost raw. âPlease, stay. We can talk about this. Just⌠donât leave. Not like this.â
You shake your head, fighting the tears that are already building again. âTyler, Iâm done,â you say, your voice trembling. âYou donât want me, but you donât want anyone else to have me, either. You keep me close enough to feel like thereâs something between us, but itâs never anything more. Itâs just not fair anymore.â
You curse under your breath, blinking hard as the tears spill over. You donât want him to see you like thisâvulnerable, broken, hurt. Swallowing back a sob, you start to walk past him, head held high even as you feel yourself shattering. Just as your hand reaches for the door, he says it. Those three words youâve been waiting for, holding onto, for what feels like forever.
âI love you.â
It stops you cold, and you stand there, hand frozen on the doorknob, not sure if you actually heard him or if itâs just some desperate wish in your mind. But then he speaks again.
âI love you,â he repeats, his voice steady, almost pleading. âAnd if you love meâif you can still love meâthen Iâm asking you to stay and just⌠hear me out. But if youâre done with me, really done, and Iâve already lost you⌠then go.â
The silence hangs between you, thick and charged. You turn slowly, meeting his gaze, and thereâs a look in his eyes youâve never seen before. Vulnerability, sincerity, something real and unguarded. Heâs finally opened himself up, given you the one thing youâve been longing to hear, but the choice to stay or leave is yours.
Your chest tightens as you search his face, feeling the weight of all the years, the almosts, the near-misses, the longing. He stands there, his hands clenched at his sides, waiting, as if heâs holding his breath.
âYou⌠really love me?â you whisper, the words barely audible.
âYes,â he breathes, stepping toward you, his gaze never leaving yours. âIâve loved you for a long time. I just⌠didnât know how to show it, and I was afraid if I did, youâd walk away. But losing you⌠thatâs the one thing Iâm really afraid of.â
You take a shaky breath, looking into his eyes, feeling every bit of his honesty, and for the first time, heâs offering you everything, without conditions, without holding back. The pain and hurt are still there, but as he waits, the tears in his own eyes now, you feel something else rising to the surfaceâa glimmer of hope.
The words are out before you can stop them.
âI love you too,â you whisper.
Tyler steps forward, his eyes searching yours as if trying to understand the storm inside you. He reaches up, hesitantly at first, as though unsure if youâll pull away. But when you donât, his hands gently cup your face, his touch warm and grounding. His thumbs swipe at the tears still streaking down your cheeks, wiping them away as if he can erase all the pain heâs caused with one simple gesture.
âIâm sorry,â he says, his voice thick with regret. âIâm so sorry. For not telling you sooner, for not making a move sooner⌠for making you feel like you donât matter. For making you cry. You deserve so much more than that.â
Youâre frozen, his words sinking deep into the cracks of your heart that you didnât even know were there. His thumb brushes along your cheekbone, a silent apology that speaks louder than anything else could.
He takes a deep breath, his voice low but sincere. âI know Iâve messed up, but Iâm asking⌠can you give me another chance? To do it right this time? To take you on a real date, to buy you flowers, to tell the world that youâre mine⌠to be proud to have you by my side. I want to do this right, with you. Will you give me one more chance?â
The weight of his words hangs between you, and you feel the walls youâve built around your heart begin to crack. Heâs standing there, fully exposed, offering you everything heâs held back for so long. The room feels smaller, the air thicker as you look into his eyes, where you see nothing but vulnerability and hope.
You swallow hard, emotions warring inside you. Youâve wanted thisâwanted himâto say it, to fight for you. And now that he is, youâre not sure whether to run or to stay. But as you stand there, feeling the sincerity in his touch and his words, something shifts. The hurt, the confusion, the lonelinessâit all starts to unravel, replaced by a flicker of something new: hope.
You take a breath, your voice barely more than a whisper, but clear enough for him to hear. âLast chance, Owens.â
A smile tugs at the corner of his lips, but itâs softer, more relieved than triumphant. He doesnât say anything else for a moment. Instead, he just pulls you into his arms, wrapping you in a hug thatâs full of promise, the kind that says heâs never letting you go. And for the first time in a long while, you let yourself believe him.
You stand there, still in his arms, the weight of his words sinking in. The tension that had built up over the last few daysâhell, the last few yearsâseems to fade away in that moment. Tylerâs hands are warm on your back, his arms strong around you as if heâs holding on, not just to you, but to everything that was between you two. His breath is steady, the pulse in his chest calming yours. He doesnât let go, not yet. You donât want him to.
For a long moment, neither of you speaks. Thereâs no need to. Words were said, the hurt was aired out, and now, the only thing left is the silence between youâa silence that feels like the promise of something better, something real.
He pulls back just enough to look into your eyes, his gaze soft, full of regret and hope. His thumb brushes against your cheek, wiping away the last of your tears. "I meant every word," he says quietly, his voice steady but raw. "Thank you for giving me this chance."
You nod, feeling something inside you shift, finally able to let go of the heaviness that had been pulling at you for far too long. You offer him a small smile, your fingers brushing his lightly as you give him a gentle squeeze.
He exhales slowly, the tension in his shoulders easing. âHeyâŚâ His voice is quieter now, almost like he's considering his next words carefully. "How about we skip the rest of the party downstairs? We can grab some pizza, put on a movie, just... relax in here."
You glance at him, surprised by the suggestion, but something about the simplicity of it feels perfect. You nod, the corners of your mouth lifting into a genuine smile. âYeah. That sounds perfect.â
Tylerâs eyes light up, a grin spreading across his face. âGood. Go ahead and get comfortable. Iâll order the pizza. Whatever you want.â
You feel a sudden sense of relief wash over you. Itâs not just the break from the chaos of the night, but the quiet, intimate comfort of knowing that itâs just the two of you, no expectations, no pressure.Â
Tyler watches you for a moment, his smile softening as he watches you dig through your suitcase for something comfortable. You pull out a pair of sweatpants, replacing your jeans, and as you move to crawl onto the bed, heâs already a step ahead of you.
Before you can sit down, he reaches for the bottom of your t-shirt, pulling it up over your head. You freeze, giving him a confused look, about to protest. "Tyler, Iâm really not in the moodâ"
He cuts you off with a soft laugh, shaking his head. "Not like that," he says, his voice teasing but warm. "Trust me, Iâm not asking for anything like that."
Your brow furrows slightly in confusion, but Tyler doesnât give you a chance to dwell on it. Instead, he reaches down into your suitcase and pulls out one of the t-shirts you had tossed aside earlierâone of his shirts. He holds it out to you with a playful glint in his eyes. âHere,â he says, âput this one on instead.â
You take the shirt from him, still a little baffled. âWhatâs wrong with my other shirt?â
Tyler grins, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. He steps closer, leaning down slightly as if heâs about to let you in on a secret.Â
âBecause itâs not your boyfriendâs,â he says, his voice low and almost teasing. âIf youâre gonna be my girl, you wear my shirt to bed.â
A smile tugs at your lips, and you canât help but feel a flutter in your chest. Itâs the little things like thisâthe small gestures, the inside jokes, the way heâs already making you feel like you belongâthat make the tension from earlier seem a little less heavy.
You slip the shirt on, and Tyler's eyes soften when he sees you in it, the way it fits just right, the way it looks like it belongs on you. You glance up at him as you finish adjusting it, your voice quieter now, full of warmth. âThis better for you, boyfriend?â
"Yes." He grins, clearly pleased with himself. "I think you look pretty damn perfect in it."
You laugh softly, and for a moment, the weight of everything that had happened earlier melts away, leaving you with nothing but the quiet comfort of his presence. You sit down on the bed, pulling the blankets up and patting the spot beside you. "So, pizza and movies?"
Tyler nods, settling in beside you, having traded his tuxedo for sweatpants and a t-shirt. His hand finds its way to yours as he lets out a contented sigh. "Sounds like the perfect way to spend the night."
And for the first time in a long while, it feels like things are exactly where they need to be.

Tails of Joy â ě ě´íŹ
genre: fluff summary: "Let's give that puppy a loving home" warnings: mentions abandonment, est relationship, thats all i can think of pairing: nonidol!jake x fem!reader wc: 740 a/n: repost from my old blog
I couldn't believe my luck when I stumbled upon the cutest puppy I had ever seen. I was walking through the park, enjoying the warm sun and the soft breeze when I saw it. The little ball of fur was running around, chasing and wagging its tiny tail. I couldn't help but stop and admire the puppy, my heart melting at the sight of it.
I had always been a dog lover, But ever since I moved to the city for work, I had never found the time or the space to have a dog of my own. But now, standing in front of this adorable puppy, I couldn't resist the urge to bring it home. As I knelt down to pet the puppy, Iâd noticed a collar around its neck. There was a tag with a phone number on it, indicating that the puppy belonged to someone. I hesitated for a moment, torn between wanting to take the puppy home and doing the right thing by finding its owner. But the puppy seemed to have made up its mind, as it jumped into my lap and started licking my face. I couldn't help but laugh, my heart bursting with joy at the playful puppy's affection. I took out my phone and called the number on the tag, hoping that the owner would understand my attachment to the puppy and allow me to keep it. But to my disappointment, the owner explained that they were unable to keep the puppy and were looking to give it away. My heart sank at the thought of this adorable puppy being abandoned. I knew I had to do something to save it from that fate. And then I had an idea. I could convince my boyfriend, Jake, to adopt the puppy with me. Jake had always been open to the idea of having a pet, but with our busy schedules, we had never seriously considered it. But I was determined to change that. I hesitated as I dialed Jakeâs number, knowing that this conversation could change everything. When he picked up, I took a deep breath and launched into my explanation.
"Hey babe, I wanted to talk to you about something important," I started. Iâd went on to share the story of the abandoned puppy I had found that morning, my voice softening as I described its sad eyes and wagging tail.
"I know we lead busy lives," I continued, but, imagine coming back home to a furry friend wagging its tail, excited to see us."
Jake listened quietly, mulling over the idea of adding a pet to their lives. He expressed his concerns about their schedules and the responsibility that came with having a dog.
I persisted, her tone gentle but determined. "Yes, it will require some adjustments, but together, we can make it work."
After a thoughtful pause, Jake finally relented. "Okay, let's do it. Let's give that puppy a loving home." A smile spread across my face, knowing that this decision would bring a new chapter of love and adventure into our lives. I couldn't contain my excitement as I rushed to the shelter to officially adopt the puppy. I couldn't believe that my dream of having a dog was finally coming true. And as I walked out of the shelter with the puppy in my arms, I knew that I had made the right decision. As we settled into our new routine with the puppy, Jake and I realized just how much love and joy a dog could bring into their lives. The puppy, now named Leila, quickly became a beloved member of our small family. Her playful antics and unwavering loyalty warmed our hearts every day. Jake and I couldn't imagine our lives without Leila now. We took her on long walks in the park, played with her in our apartment, and even took her on road trips. And through it all, Leila was there, wagging her tail and showering us with unconditional love. Looking back, I couldn't believe that I had almost missed out on the chance to adopt Leila. I was grateful that I had followed my heart and convinced Jake to give the puppy a chance. For now, our apartment was no longer small, but filled with love, laughter, and the pitter-patter of tiny paws. And I knew that I had made the best decision of my life by bringing Leila into our home.

Summary: Benedict takes up fencing, not knowing who his opponent is as he remains quiet. Each time he is defeated by his partner. During the balls a girl keeps following him and trying to make something clear. With his mind still on winning a match, he makes a deal to buy his partner a drink if he wins. If only he knew his opponent was the girl who kept trying to hint it at him during balls.
Benedict hurried towards the door as it caught Violetâs attention. Making her stop mid-way, gawking at her son. â âUhm Benedict⌠where are you going?â â She wanted to know. Benedict stopped, moving a bit back. â âOut.â â he replied as if it was the most casual thing. â âNow, it is almost calling hour.â â Violet responded.
âI⌠I have other obligations.â â Benedict answered already checking the clock in the hallway. â âBut your sisterâŚâ â Violet reminded him again. â âWill be fine without me, she has plenty of hawks circling around her.â â he called out heading for the door.
Before Violet could scold him, he had left. Calling over one of the carriages. Violet sighed loud, entering the drawing room to wait for any suitors to announce themselves to Francesca. Benedict hopped into the carriage as it rode off.
The carriage stopped in front of a mansion. White stone walls with pillars on each side. A man was standing outside having a smoke. Not even trying to hide it. His eyes focused on Benedict when he got out. â âIâll be damned Bridgerton is that you?â Â - the man called out, dropping his cigarette on the ground.
Sniffing it out with his heel before coming over. Benedict looked surprised at the acquaintance when he neared. â âJohn Fidleton is that you?â â he asked. John shook his hand firm with a pat on against his shoulder. â âHere for fencing too?â â John wanted to know, leading him closer to the mansion.
Benedict chuckled out a laugh with a shrug. John laughed patting him hard on the back. â âA man of many talents.â â John joked leading him inside the mansion. â âTo be honest I just needed an escape from the house.â â Benedict teased with a smirk. John laughed loud patting him even harder on his back.
Benedict nearly stumbled forwards, coughing as the air felt being punched out of his lungs. â âYou were always the funny one.â â John teased with a poke in his cheek. Benedict chuckled softly, rubbing his cheek. John leaded him to the training room. A grant ballroom now occupied with other obligations then dance. Many men were already suited up and warming up.
John slapped Benedict hard on his back. â âGet yourself ready.â â he shoved Benedict towards a door. Benedict left the room to change. With the helmet under his arm, he returned. He observed and watched some already parring. The sound of their fencing foil clattering against each other.
The instructor entered as everyone lined up. The instructor paused to give Benedict a quick bored glance. â âYou new?â â he asked making Benedict nod, adding a bow afterwards. The instructor motioned with his head for him to join the line. Benedict hurried over, coming to stand beside John.
The instructor clapped his hands together after his speech, making everyone form a pair. Benedict turned to look at John to partner up, but John had already left to meet another chap. Laughing loud. It made Benedict look uncomfortable around as he didnât knew anyone else. The instructor clapped loud, calling for his attention.
He then pointed at a person fully suited up. Benedict bowed to his instructor, making his way over. He approached you, holding his hand out to you. â âBenedict Bridgerton, at your service.â â he introduced himself. You stared down at his hand. As a reply you bowed, not shaking his hand. Benedict cleared his throat a bit ashamed, bowing afterwards.
âI look forward to fence with you.â â he started loosening up his shoulder. You tapped with your fencing foil on the helmet under his arm. â âOh right.â â Benedict answered, moving the helmet up. â âYou arenât much of a talker are you?â â he questioned as you turned round to take your stand. Benedict put his helmet on, taking a stand as well.
If only he knew. You breathed loud into the helmet taking a moment to compose yourself. Waiting for Benedict to make the first move. Benedict launched forwards as you easily blocked his attack with a swift swing of your fencing foil. One hand behind your back as you needed to use little effort for it. With your fencing foil, you touched his chest with the tip of it.
Benedict looking with surprise down at his chest. You removed the fencing foil from him, taking a step back again. Benedict taking a stand once more. Again he set his foot forwards, launching at you. Turning just a quarter, you let your fencing foil block his. Letting it swing round to unbalance him.
Benedict tensed his jaw, regaining his balance and attacking once more. His efforts were little as your agility and speed blocked his strike before it could come even near you. The tip of your fencing foil again touching his chest.
Benedict groaned loud as you took another stand. You let your gaze go down to his feet, seeing his footwork wasnât steady. Knowing he was about to strike, you deflected his strike. Making your fencing foil circle around his till it got flung out of his hands. Up in the air, Benedict watched with grand eyes.
You shoved him back with your fencing foil as he stumbled to the ground. With your free hand, you caught his fencing foil taking a deep bow at him. Benedict groaned loud at his defeat. Benedict got back up as you offered him his fencing foil.
He took it annoyed barely giving you a glance. He took another stand. With each defeat, the urge of overthrowing you grew. Giving up, he took of his helmet and went back to the changing rooms. Not even throwing you a glance over his shoulder.
Benedict rubbed his neck to ease his muscles making Anthony glance at him. Benedict cleared his throat, lowering his hand. â âHas he been handling you roughly again?â â Anthony questioned. Benedict sighed loud. â âNow I regret ever telling you.â â he mumbled out. Anthony came to face him, grabbing him by his vest.
âYou better land that win on this gentleman for the sake of our family name.â â Anthony told him firmly. â âItâs just practice.â â Benedict replied with a roll of his eyes. Anthony dusted off Benedictâs shoulders. â âNo excuse, I just know he is laughing in your face.â â Anthony finished looking suspiciously over his shoulder.
Benedict pushed his brotherâs hands off him. â âActually he hasnât been taunting. Just quiet.â â Benedict reassured him that his opponent wasnât mocking him at all. Rather always remaining calm and not giving him much interaction.
âBeside the point.â â Anthony muttered out, bringing up a polite smile when some ladies walked past them. Kate appeared leaning her arm on Anthonyâs shoulder. â âAre you taunting your brothers again?â â she asked her husband with a mischievous scowl. â âWha⌠no!â â Anthony answered making Kate smile.
Benedict bowed his head to her as she scrunched her nose with a smile in return to him. Kate kept shushing her husband, pulling him away from Benedict. Throwing him a wink over her shoulder as she led him away. Alone, Benedict took a deep exhale.
Getting in motion, he needed a drink. Brushing past ladies and lords to reach the beverages. He got handed a lemonade, turning around to watch the crowd. From the corner of his eye, he saw someone approach. Coming to stand at his side.
âMr. Bridgerton.â â you said with a curtsy. Benedict nearly chocked on his drink, sputtering in his glass. Lemonade splashing up in his face. Lowering his glass, he wiped his face clean. Standing face to face with a girl. Hands folded in front of her, a dazzle in her eyes. â âI uhm⌠yes Eloise!â â he called out making an escape for it.
Out of sight, he exhaled loud, undoing his tie a bit around his neck. Puffing loud as he had avoided another eager girl. You blinked surprised at his departure. Taking your glass of lemonade, you went after him. You noticed him standing alone as it made you hum thoughtfully. Hinting he had been deliberately avoiding you.
Knowing you couldnât face him head on, you decided to sneak up on him to join his side. Slowly you shuffled closer to him from the side. Trying to make it as casual as ever that you were sneaking up to him.
âMr. Bridgerton.â â you repeated to get his attention. He turned his head with a loud and visible sigh. He already started to get in motion as you wouldnât let him leave so easily. â âMr. Bridgerton!â â you called out heading after him. â âJust go back to your mama!â â Benedict responded looking over his shoulder.
Too occupied with him, you nearly bumped into someone. You spun around, avoiding him ending in fencing stand. Looking up, you just had to see if he had seen it. Benedictâs eyes were still on you, but quickly looked away once he saw you had managed it. Brushing you off, you watched him leave. You hoped it wouldâve been a perfect hint for him to connect that you were his fencing partner.
Sighing loud, you turned the other direction. No more attempts. Benedict returned to his siblings, needing to shake the feeling off. â âThose debutants keep getting eagerly each year.â â he complained to Eloise. She snorted loud. â âPoor you.â â she teased with pouted lips. It made Benedict give her a little shove. Colin laughing loud.
Benedict entered the mansion once more, heading for the gardens. A match outdoors due to the good weather. Bowing his head to John further up ahead. He then walked straight up to his fencing partner. You pointed with your fencing foil at his helmet to put it on.
Benedict held his finger up to you. â âHow about a deal first?â â he asked teasingly. You gestured for him to continue. â âIf I land a win, youâll have to reveal yourself. Show me who you are and Iâll buy you a drink on top of that.â â Benedict proposed.
âWhat do you say, deal?â â he wanted to know, opening his hands all smug. You nodded accepting his offer. Benedict smiled putting his helmet on. Each taking a stand to begin. No matter what he did, he kept being hit by you. Losing in every way. Making him groan time and time again, but he was persistent.
Benedict kept practising with Anthony in the yard at home. Anthony yelling at him to keep an eye on his footwork. Whatever the cost, he wanted to win the deal. Days past with practices and balls. At practise he kept losing and at each ball, he kept being followed by a lady out of so many.
It started to irritate him as he disliked debutants and their eager mamaâs. He started to portray his frustrations into his fencing. Anthony directing him to channel it more clearer. Frustrationâs couldnât cloud his judgement. Day in and out, he practised with Anthony and kept losing to his opponent at fencing classes. Hoping he would lance a win soon enough. Eager to know the gentleman that was outstanding in fencing.
Anthony had given Benedict a pep talk in the morning. Now entering the mansion once more, he wasnât sure what the outcome would be, but was eager to keep trying. He came facing you once more with a bow. You curled up a smile from behind your helmet. Benedict waited for you to do anything first as it made you quirk your eyebrow up.
You made your way at him as he deflected it. Trying to tap your chest for a point. You spun around with ease, striking at him. Benedict let his fencing foil clash with yours. Coming nearly face to face. Panting loud in his helmet as he narrowed his eyes to try and see any features through the helmet. You shoved him back as he stumbled.
He regained his balance, blocking another strike of you. Glancing down, you noticed his footwork had improved. He was getting better, just how you liked it. You always like a challenge as most of the otherâs wouldnât want to fence with you anymore because they always lost. Benedict was persistent, wanting to win from you.
You noticed the slightest slip-up with him, striking him down. He looked down at the tip on his chest, sighing loud. â âAgain!â â he called out coming in position again. Benedict and you kept fencing even when everyone else had given up and returned home.
The instructor asked if you wanted to leave as well. Benedict wouldnât asking if they could stay a bit longer. Sure that he would land his win today. The instructor accepted, retiring to his study. Now you had the entire ballroom for your own. For fencing was a dance in her own style. â âAgain.â â Benedict repeated getting up once more.
You nodded, taking a stand once more. Your fencing foils clashed opposite from each other. Benedict and you nose to nose. Both panting loud in the helmet. Benedict moved his hand up to push the fencing foils upwards. It made you stumble a bit backwards as Benedict struck.
You immediately blocked it out of breath. Moving back as he went forwards. He tried to aim for your chest as you deflected his touch. He kept coming at you as you were impressed by his dedication. Dancing back and forth with him. Benedict struck at you as you deflected it.
He quickly repositioned his hand, to hit your chest while you werenât looking. A hard touch on your chest, made you widen your eyes. Looking down at your chest to see his tip clear on your chest. Benedicts eyes widened as well. His scream of joy echoing into the ballroom as he sunk to his knees in victory.
You had to give it to him, clapping. Benedict removed his helmet, panting loud. â âI think we have a deal good sir.â â he said with a smirk. You nodded offering him your fencing foil as he took it. Taking a step back to watch with eagerness who the gentleman was that he had been fencing with for months now.
You exhaled deep as you brought your hands up to your helmet. Unsure how he would react. A deal was a deal so you werenât going to chicken out of it. Slowly you removed your helmet as Benedictâs eyes widened seeing gentle lips. He dropped the fencing coils, clattering to the ground at the sight of a girl. Not just any girl, but the girl he had been brushing off at every ball.
âHow about that drink?â -Â you said with a teasing smile. Benedict was speechless. Utterly speechless that his opponent had been a girl this entire time. It made you a bit shy as he wasnât responding. He was normally always so full with words and now he couldnât even utter one.
âA lemonade is just fine.â â you replied to cut the silence, knowing he used to think you were a man. He couldnât give you any alcohol so a lemonade would be just fine. â âOr should I return to my mama?â - Â Benedict apologized before taking his leave. Letting your shoulders slouch, you felt like you had just lost your fencing partner. Unsure if you could ever come back.
You didnât come to the next fencing practise. Just not feeling it. Yet dismissing a ball was out of the question for your parents. Now you stood by the windows looking bored. Bored with the people, you turned around to look outside. Pulling your nose up at the sudden presence at your side.
Turning your head, you were surprised to see that it was Benedict. â âAs promised.â â he said offering you a glass of lemonade. You looked down at the glass, hesitant to accept it. â âI⌠I didnât catch your name the other day.â â he asked as you took the glass from him. â âWell you never staid to hear it.â â you responded looking away to take a sip.
Benedict chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his head. He was still waiting for an answer with eagerness. â âY/n Y/l/n.â â you answered making him curl up a smile. â âI didnât see you at fencing practise, miss Y/n.â â he continued to conversate with you. â âOh, I didnât know you were looking for me.â â you replied.
Benedict plucked the drink from you, handing it to a man not far from him. â âHow about a dance miss Y/n?â â he asked offering you his hand. You kept staring at his hand wanting him to sweat just that little extra. Benedict moved his head closer to you. Almost cheek to cheek to whisper in your ear.
âItâs like fencing.â â he whispered to you. It made you bashful at how close he was. Clearing your throat, you composed yourself. â âI suppose I can grant you one dance.â â you replied unbothered, laying your hand in his. Benedict smiled all giddy, guiding you towards the dancers. Letting go of your hand as you came standing in front of him.
âDoes this require a deal as well?â â you teased him looking all smug. The music began as Benedict took you by your waist, pulling you up to his chest. â âOnly your attention.â â he responded. â âI can do that.â â you answered with a smirk. Benedict touched your chin with his knuckles before leading you into the dance.

Nurturing November: Day 9: Interactions with Setting
Throughout this month, Iâll be sharing character-building exercises that I have completed that will bring out my ocsâ more tender sides. This can be anything from snippets to oc questions to character analysis.
In a hidden section of the North Crater, Bianca has manifested a small, storybook-like cabin as a retreat with her reality-bending powers since Sephiroth told her to practice honing her powers for the coming fight for the Planet. Biancaâs imagination built the cabin, and it almost feels enchanted. The cabin feels like something straight out of a fairy tale â quaint and timeless. Deep in the icy wilderness â a forest that she has also created â in the North Crater, the house has a rustic charm, low light, and a faint smell of cedar. Snow drifts against the windows. The cabin will become almost a secluded haven, as it is cut off from the rest of the North Crater. Tucked away in the distant corners, against the jagged walls, lies a cave. This is where Biancaâs body will regenerate after the ultimate battle against Cloud and his companions during the Meteorfall event. For Bianca, this is a place where she can offer Sephiroth a moment of normalcy and comfort.
The cabinâs interior reflects Biancaâs care and attention to detail. There is a well-worn leather couch that is draped in thick, festive, woolen blankets and a small table beside it that often has a silver serving tray with mugs of hot cocoa, complete with a hint of cinnamon and whip cream with chocolate sprinkles. While they drink their hot chocolate, he will usually read to her before the roaring fireplace. She created this place to hold these simpler moments, to show that they are more than just villains trying to take over the Planet / Omniverse and can exist without the weight of their usual personas. Sephirothâs edges seem to soften only slightly, and he accepts her in a way that feels meaningful, even if vulnerable. He allows himself to be coaxed into these small, quiet traditions â drinking hot cocoa, having romantic getaways, and just existing with his loved one. He gives in because he was deprived of any kind of warm relationships as a child, both under Hojoâs control during his experiments. Later, as a 1st Class SOLDIER, he only allowed two or three people close to him. In this setting, even his stoic demeanor relaxes, as heâs just content to sit close to her.
Bianca treasures these snowed-in moments for the same reason Sephiroth does, as there were few people she allowed in fearing betrayal. Here, they could find something genuine and lasting. For her, creating this cabin is an act of love, a way to nurture the quiet side of their relationship. His presence fills the space, adding weight and warmth to it, transforming it into a sanctuary for both of them. And while they may share a few words beyond his reading to her, his mere acceptance of care speaks volumes. He lets her see him not as the One-Winged Angel, but simply as Sephiroth. This gesture is Sephirothâs own way of reciprocating her affection, a subtle acknowledgeable that her effects and love have become his refuge amidst their grand destiny. Itâs a silent promise of what will await her in the Promised Land.

(OOC - Update #16)
Just in advance, my replies are coming out slower right now as I've had a really rough week. Please know that I'm not ignoring anyone, I'm just having a hard time right now and I'm sending out replies (DMs & RPs) when I can. âĄ
Hi, everyone - I'm back! Thank you so much for your continued patience and support âĄ
I'm really glad that I have so many people that enjoy writing with me and my version of Loki (and, hopefully going forward, my other muses as well!). I hope that you're all doing well; I've been trying to get back to the messages I had just before I went on hiatus, so if I missed anyone, I'm really sorry about that. >w<
I'm checking on the threads I have going, so please feel free to let me know if you're no longer interested in our thread or want to start new ones. I'll be going through my thread tracker again soon and posting that back up; the only reason it was taken down was so that I could redo my blog, which means I also have to change the thread links and such for the thread tracker. Hopefully, that will be added again soon and I'll make another update when I've rearranged some other things.
Below is a to-do list and changes that were already made (in case anyone is interested).
To-Do List, Daily:
* = main priority
* Respond to Tumblr messages (in progress; slow due to getting RP replies out & personal life at the moment)
To-Do List, General:
* Set up reminders for replies (in progress; looking for a good system that works for me)
* Redo tag directory, including new tags & hopefully reducing some of the tags I use (not started)
* Add muse info to Carrd (in progress, but slow; already completed Loki & my OC Adrian, and Tony Stark needs a few more adjustments before he's added; the goal is to add at least one muse for each fandom, that way I have a playable character in each one until I can finish all of their files)
Add FAQ to Carrd (not started; hopefully easy to do)
Create graphics for muses, including icon borders for replies, starter calls, etc. (in progress, but slow)
Create separate header promo (not started)
Work on GIFs project (in progress, but slow; need to rework some of the GIFs I posted using my previous watermark)
Already Done:
Checked in on old threads with partners
New promo has been added to my pinned posted
New reply icon borders for Loki & Adrian (OC)
Pinned post has been revamped (new information, cut and re-organized info, etc.)
Navigation has been fixed (links were still set for my previous blog name)
Carrd was designed & published
Pulled old threads from Drafts to get replies out
Scheduled out several responses to starters/asks || update was posted after they were already published

Watched the gundam ending, itâs good đ
#gundam#the witch from mercury#adding this for the tag that will come after#the witch from mercury spoilers#i just wish they showed part of the wedding#i love that Suletta got scars on her face from the permet gundam stuff thoughďżź#and her being permanently disabled from it all but still being able to live out a happy life is a good way to handle it I think#like how often do we ever see disabled characters get to be happy despite their disabilities in media#it also ties really well with the whole gund-arm medical tech thing#overall very satisfying for me personally even if the climactic events felt a little cluttered and confusing to me

(Tents fingers) So I've had a very indulgent Lethal Company OC concept on the mind for a while, and now that I've drawn it, of course it's spiraled into a 80+ panel comic HILJKFD
Employee names are tentative right now, but they go by Cap'n, Kid (shortie, actual name is Scoot), Skeets (tall one, short for Skeeter) and Mav (wide one, goes by that or Maverick). Genders are also tentative, but I'm warming up to the idea of them all being women with Kid being the only boy!
Value keys for the comic are under the cut, along with some story beats/thumbnails and the uncensored version of Cap'n's injuries from the attack! (It's sketchy, but it is drawn gore so be warned!)
#artists on tumblr#lethal company#lethal company oc#eyeless dog#lethal company eyeless dog#blind dog#werecreature#wereeyeless dog#<- needs a better name#wereblind dog#<- also bad. what else am I suppose to do man? hIKLJFD#eyeless weredog#<- infinitely better name. friend mentioned it. adding it to the tags now.#my draws#sfw#blood cw#honestly after I did the 'Cap'n circling the ship' visual I was like 'OKAY time to wrap this up. I got to exactly where I wanted to get to.#also you have to imagine Mav with Pearl's voice from SU. It was an accident however that is currently their voice claim.#I'm saying 'the names are tentative!' but we all know that's a lie. Ratman's name was tentative too....... I hate coming up with names hILK#capn tag
