hey yo, everyone! this is sky (sh/th, 21+) and i'm here to present you kang jieun, salubri clan whip! she was born and raised through the japan colonization of korea and ended up losing her parents pretty young. thankfully she got adopted by a salubri vampire (that later on became her sire), probably because of the combination of a promise they made probably out of their compulsion + pity for the poor orphan girl that seemed to have too much of a kind heart for the world she was born in; tl;dr basically a soft girl raised in a country in war (little do they know that people pleasing and caring for others is how she copes with ✨trauma✨). discord is available by request and pls drop a little ♡ if you'd like me to pop up in your dms for some plotting 💕

past. (tw: death, terminal illness)

born a little before japan (and the camarilla) imposed their control over korea, but her first memory is when their power was cemented so she feels like a daughter of those times anyway, (TW STARTS) even more so when her parents were revolutionaries and ended up losing their lives when she was around twelve. (TW ENDS)

got adopted by a salubri vampire who knew her parents and ended up promising that they'd look after their daughter if something happened to them.

had a lot of questions about their lifestyle, but never really asked them out loud and instead just went with the flow not only because the only person that she had after her parents were gone, but also because her parents were always telling her about being understanding/accepting of the way people are different from her so she just rolled with it.

surprisingly was kept away from the conflict filled part of her (soon to be) sire's life (thankfully because she hates conflict) because they did promise to her parents they'd protect/look after jieun and throwing her in the middle of the storm wasn't exactly doing that, but then there's a limit to how much she could be sheltered and even though she couldn't fully understand the complex social (and political) scenario around her, she didn't need to be super smart to see how some most people were miserable.

even before turning into a vampire, she felt a little compulsion to help people or at least cheer them up/not add to their already existing misery.

(besides her parents always told her that she was the warmest ray of sunshine in their lives and maybe she wanted to hear those words again even if it they weren't from the people that she wanted to hear them the most.)

ends up being offered immortality when (TW STARTS) she's diagnosed with terminal cancer (TW ENDS), says half joking half serious that she said yes because her sire looked very upset about the idea of her dying, but it was also because she wasn't quite ready to leave them either.

led a very lowkey life as a vampire until she's eventually invited by the camarilla to join their court; ends up accepting it, because even though she was raised mostly in an anti-camarilla environment considering her background, it's exactly because of said background that she joins them. she already lost her parents by trying to oppose them + she likes the sense of peace that has under the camarilla control.

doesn't mean she's necessarily loyal to them; in the end she'll always choose the side that seems to be killing less/that she feels the safest and if that changes from the camarilla to the anarchs or even if it's neither of them, so be it.

personality.

was stupidly naive when younger, but then with now centuries on her back, jieun did grow up to a little more distrustful with people and not to let her guard down that easily, even more because of her clan ban, but it's still not very hard to gain her trust or to have her believe in whatever bullshit someone is spilling.

there are even times that she can sort of tell when the other person is trying to take advantage of her, but then just lets them anyway because she believes that they might have their reasons for it + the bullet point below.

has a very kindhearted nature that comes from mostly overly attaching herself to people because she's scared of being left alone/feeling lonely + the little cliche of it being easier for her to not focus on her own problems when she's focusing on someone else's + her clan's compulsion as the very red cherry on top of the cake.

besides her parents always told her to be kind (and then her sire really doubled down on that), because someday the universe would have that kindness returned to her and holding onto those words also feels like a way to also holding onto her parents/to feel close to them.

holding grudges? being petty? don't know her.

not a very good leader, but a very good follower, very hardworking and diligent. also great listener and gives some decent advice even if not always.

always finishes what she starts kind of person, regardless if at any point it stops being worth of all of her effort and time.

is very much into crochet + an absolute plants mom (yes, she makes little sweaters for her plants 🥹); always carry some crocheted animal keychain around to give people if she senses they're sad/need some help and if that doesn't really at least cheer them up, then well, now she'll have to go through hell and back to help them, i guess 😔

might look like an airhead, but is very much attuned to the people around her and what is happening; the type to remember a comment someone made even if they thought that no one was paying attention to them at that time.

I realized there’s actually quite a bunch of people who are new to Animaniacs and haven’t watched the original. So i’m gonna clear up some questions I saw people having because I’m aware not everyone is gonna watch the original.

- In the lore, the Warners were created in 1930 by a man who went insane after being forced to overwork (He’s in a mental hospital now, or maybe dead in the reboot? idk). The Warners were around for a while, they were very insane but they gained a few shorts of their own. Unfortunaly, the execs thought the shorts didn’t make any sense and never released the shorts. The Warners ended up being, in their eyes, more harm than good, so they captured them and locked them away in the water tower never to be released, so they were basically sent away to die for existing. (Also some famous people that met the Warners seemed to enjoy their presence and found them funny, but they also didn’t do anything when they were loked up sooo)

- The Warners actually broke out a couple times when the tower needed cleaning, but they were relocked right away. The WB studios always denied their existence. They eventually broke out in 1993 and weren’t relocked again (no idea what happened after the original show and before the reboot).

- The Warners never had any parents, the writers never gave them one. Even though they are relatively good on their own, there are multiple sketches on the original show were they’re literally looking for someone to adopt them, like, from normal people to literally the grim reaper. They do technically have parents in the movie, they’re still orphans in it though and the movie isn’t really canon.

- Nonbinary Wakko is just a (really cool) headcanon based on the comics, we all would like it to be canon but deep down we know it was just for a punchline :”) So please don’t think the show is queerbaiting or something like that pls they never even talked about it (some of the artist working on the reboot seem to like it tho, but they don’t decide that stuff). 

- Yakko is 14, Wakko is 11 and Dot is 10 or 9

its been a busy fuckin week for this mod my ladz!!! i thought i would just give an end of week run down how everything is going, everything added so far and my to do list! also discord!!! and patreon!!! but i’ll talk abt that after this!! a general run down if u dnt know what this wip mod is:

The Royalty Mod gives your sims the opportunity to being the reigning Monarch of your game. They have the chance to become a Beloved Ruler or a Despised Tyrant (and will be treated as such!) They will be completely in control of a custom tax system, will the be benevolent and keep the taxes low or be greedy and fill their coffers with their subject’s simoleans? Be careful though, your actions will affect your citizens and their views of you! Your Monarch will be the most important piece of the puzzle, as they will be able to give titles to family and friends... or even a random street vendor. Having your Monarch bestow titles such as Crown Royals, Royal Partners, Servants, Court Wizards and more, keeps you out of CAS and IN your game! No more stopping and starting your gameplay!

A general overview of everything included so far:

Monarch: - A custom Heir system: Your Monarch can choose anyone bestowed with the title of Crown Royal or Royal Partner to become the next in line to the throne! And if they decide they made a mistake, the Heir can be disowned :((( sad lyfe As soon as the Monarch passes away, the Heir will automatically claim the throne! - If your Monarch dies before they get a chance to name an heir, then any Crown Royal or Royal Partner can vie for the throne. Whoever the people choose (gets to reputation level 6 - very good) first, will become the next Monarch! - Teens and up can become the Monarch, (lookin at u edward the 6th) - Custom tax system! Raise taxes to get more money instantly and in your weekly tax collection, but incur the ire of your subjects! Lower taxes and you will lose money and earn less each week but your subjects will love you! - Your Monarch will draw a crowd wherever they go! Even with no fame points they’ll attract a mass of adoring onlookers. (But no paparazzi for my historical players) - Make world-wide decrees - Listen to your subjects pressing concerns by telling your Trusted Advisor that you will hold a hearing, get that gud gud karma!! - Make anyone a Crown Royal! - Make the land celebrate your own birthday with a new Monarch’s Birthday tradition, with custom goals to be met! - Don’t walk like the rest of these peasants, make sure to enable your royal stride to royally stand out from the crowd. Not enough? Enable your regal glow to really drive home that you’re better than everyone else! - Royal greetings! - Allow your subjects to commence Sunday trading on a lot with the Market lot trait! Townies will come and man the stalls every sunday 9-3 and the royal family can peruse and purchase to their hearts content! -probably more that im forgetting!!!

Heirs, Crown Royals & Royal Partners: - Titles are bestowed by the monarch, crown royals & heirs can be titled at birth and Royal Partners can be titled after marriage! - Both can be named as Heir, and both can vie for the throne if the Monarch dies unexpectedly! - Your Monarch can make anyone a Crown Royal, so if you gameplayed that your Monarch adopted a poor orphan kid, then they can have a shot at the throne too! - All have multiple different social and skill modifiers, so they can make new friends fast and be better at everything than them! - Also all have their own socials - ALSO all can be completely banished from the royal family - u can defo marry into the royal family if u wanted, and make ur peasant family the next gen of royals ;))) - loads more but im so tired

Trusted Advisor: - Your Monarch will choose their trusted advisor! they advice! u on stuff! so choose wisely! - everything about taxes, beginning situations, domestic affair (and planning to add LOADS more) goes thru ur advisor, just like it does in real life and by real life i mean i think i just made that up - way more 2 come bros

I need a thread where Talia is just chilling at a bar with someone, getting drunk, laugh about stupid shit, play dumb games and make bets like ‘I bet I can shoot more rakks than you even when I am drunk!” or stuff like that. I just want her to have a good time and do stupid shit for a change. 

I just want a plot where Claptrap meets Talia and annoys the shit out of her, eventually forcing her to join the Crimson Raiders at some point, jumping between being needy and bossy. Just like in the beginning of BL2 or BL3. This would 100% turn into comedy gold. 

Since I am working on more verses, I am also about to add one where Talia is just an orphan running around Pandora like a lost puppy. What if she starts to follow someone around after they helped her or something and it would eventually end in Talia being adopted by that person? Uhm…YEAH?!? 

I will also add an Elpis-Verse in the future where Talia is basically stranded on the moon. I would dig a thread with someone helping her to survive there and teaching her how things work on Elpis. This would include Talia freaking out about not being able to breathe without an ozkit, her being super stoked about the fact that there are fricking laser guns and so on.

I would literally die for a thread with Talia’s Cursed-Child-Verse where someone captures her to deliver her to Alvis to get her bounty and it turns into the person dragging Talia around Pandora, which would result in a lot of bitching and fighting. Maybe turning this into a ‘enemies become friends’ situation? YES! Maybe even turning this into some kind of ‘enemies become lovers’ situation? YESSSS!!!!

How was their first kiss? - Hmm… likely quite pleasurable/painful for Saint, and confusingly sweet and alarming for Cardia.

The guest list wouldn’t be/wasn’t huge, but otherwise everything and anything. 

Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - No one wasn’t invited. In canon, even the apostles were invited. 

Sex:

Who is on top? - At first, Saint, absolutely. Although he would be open to playing either role if Cardia wanted later on. 

Who is the one to instigate things? - OMG. Saint for a long time. He would truly be delighted when Cardia instigates sex, though. For her to desire him and to show him that she wants and needs him would be an incredible aphrodisiac for him.

Children:

How many children will they have naturally? - This is an interesting question. Neither of them are exactly human, so it is a question as to whether they’d be physically capable of having children. I am pretty sure Cardia couldn’t normally, but perhaps with help it is possible. In any case, I’m leaning towards none, because I don’t think that’s the life they will lead. But if they did, it would only be one. Most likely a girl who would look eerily like Cantarella. 

How many children will they adopt? - It would not impossible for them to take in an orphan somewhere on their travels. 

Who gets stuck with the most diapers? - Probably Cardia. But he would do his part if called on. 

Who is the stricter parent? - Pretty equal. 

Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? - Cardia. Saint has a poorly developed sense of what is dangerous.

Who is the more loved parent? - Probably Saint. He’d be the “cooler” parent. 

Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings?: both. 

Who cried the most at graduation? - Saint!! 

Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? - These two? Both equally. 

Cooking:

Who does the most cooking? - Saint, but once Cardia learns, they share pretty equally. Saint likes to eat out, though. 

Who is the most picky in their food choice? - Probably Saint. He’s developed a more refined palate. 

Who does the grocery shopping? - Both together most of the time, but Cardia will volunteer. 

How often do they bake desserts? - Pretty frequently. Cardia is fond of chocolate. Saint is an excellent baker. 

Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - Either. But I think they would both enjoy a fresh salad. 

Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - Saint, unless he lost track of time. 

Who is more likely to suggest going out? - Definitely Saint. 

Who is more likely to burn the house down accidently while cooking? - It’d have to be Cardia, but I think she’d be pretty cautious, so neither. 

Chores:

Who cleans the room? - Probably Cardia because she’ll volunteer. 

Who is really against chores? - neither. They are both fine with chores. 

Who cleans up after the pets? - whoever notices the mess. 

Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? - neither . 

Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - Cardia. She wants to make sure everything is perfect. 

Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? - Cardia. 

Misc:

Who takes the longer showers/baths? - Saint. But once Cardia gets used to taking baths, she really enjoys them… and more often than not they take them together! Saint LOVES to bathe with Cardia. 

Who takes the dog out for a walk? - Cardia. 

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? -  Pretty much every major holiday. Saint loves to decorate for Christmas. 

What are their goals for the relationship? - Just to know simple happiness. 

Who is most likely to sleep till noon? - Cardia. But it is very rare. 

Who plays the most pranks? - Saint!! He is ever the mischievous trickster.
