you may have noticed there are no prompts for July and August! this is because Adashi Month takes place during these months and I didn’t want to steal any focus from their event.

hey everyone! it's been a while since the last update post. I hope everyone is doing well.

while I have not had the time to read many fics, I have been working on an official adashi central carrd. so far it includes a full library, a list of content creators and information about the year of adashi event. it's very much a work in progress but I'm proud of how it's looking so far! major thanks to my friends for helping with the carrd design and testing things.

if you have any adashi-centric social media accounts that you would like to be added to the aforementioned list of content creators, let me know! it can be your ao3, tumblr blog, twitter, anything as long as adashi is a main focus.

we also recently reached 100 followers here on tumblr! that's so incredible, I hope this account is helping you find some great adashi fics. please let me know if there's anything that would make the experience better.

Trust exercises can be a great way to test the trust between two individuals. But Adam can't bring himself to fall into Shiro’s open arms.

The trust fall - the easiest and simplest exercise - person a, facing away from them, must fall into the open arms of person b. It shows the strength of the trust between the two individuals but also the trust person a has in person b.

“Adam… Adam we’re dating.” Shiro frowned, glancing up from his paperwork. He wasn’t entirely sure if this was a joke or if his boyfriend was actually unaware of their relationship for the past three months. Adam sat on the couch, looking completely blown away by the turn of events.

“We’re dating?” He repeated and groaned “We're dating! Takashi you couldn’t have told me that sooner? I’ve had a hot boyfriend and didn’t know?” He threw up his hands “Do my parents know?!” He asked. Shiro frowned. He thought they did – but then again he thought Adam had known too.

“I… Have no idea? Did you think straight guys normally make-out with other guys?”

“Don’t blame me for your lack of communication skills!”

Shiro shifts in his spot in the gray bean bag chair and his stomach moves with him. Uneasiness unfurls in his gut as Adam clicks on the stereo and begins to play Lofi Hip Hop – Chill Beats to Relax and Study To, but as the music streams into the air like the dust floating in the light cascading through the window, Shiro knows the feeling isn’t because of Adam, or their procrastination.

Checking his phone, he tries and fails to hold back a groan as he sees the date on the top of his screen, along with his own annoying reminders.

“What’s up?” Adam asks from across the room. He’s standing by his desk, glaring down at the humming printer as it spits out the pieces of paper that are supposed to save both of their lives. He glances over at Shiro, eyebrow raised. “Don’t tell me you have to go.”

A short laugh bubbles out of his chest and he shakes his head. “Yeah, no. I told Gramps we’re on the brink of a breakthrough.” He rolls his eyes at himself. “He’s excited to see how far we’ve come with the project.”

Having a crush on your best friend isn't easy. Like, at all.

in January this had the idea for a year-long adashi creative event. at the start of each month, four prompts would be posted and creatives could pick one (or more!) to make a piece of fan fiction, art, a mood board, edit, anything creative!
