found an image of the exact barbie i used to own (barbie magic of the pegasus) and i am on a minor mission to find the rest of the dolls that i had as a kid

i had another barbie who was in my mind the SUPERIOR one because she was articulated with joints. i have always been adamant that if im gonna play with a doll it's gotta have proper joints none of this stiff-bendable-wire-hidden-in-the-arm nonsense. this one had brown hair and tan skin.

i also had a ken doll who i cannot find by google searching because all i know is that he had a white shirt with kind of a mesh texture and sporty shorts or swim trunks or somethin

„Jetzt halte doch mal still.“ Leos Stimme zischte in Adams Ohr und klang schon ziemlich verzweifelt. Adam saß auf dem Rand der Badewanne, Leo über ihn gebeugt. Ein Lächeln huschte über Adams Lippen, aber er hielt seinen Kopf still, als Leo sein Kinn mit einer Hand packte und sein Gesicht zu ihm drehte.

„Warum gehen wir da überhaupt hin?“, fragte Adam.

Leo nahm den kleinen, bunten Schminkblock vom Waschbecken und drehte ihn, sodass rot nach oben und lila nach unten zeigte. Mit etwas Druck zog er einen kleinen Regenbogen auf Adams Wange. „Weil Pia uns gefragt hat, ob wir mitkommen wollen“, sagte er und malte noch einen zweiten Regenbogen auf die andere Wange.

Adam richtete sich auf, sodass er sein Gesicht im Spiegel sehen konnte. „Fandest du, ich sah noch nicht schwul genug aus?“, fragte er und sah an sich herunter. Sein nackter Oberkörper wirkte grau durch das Netzshirt, das Leo ihm vor einer halben Stunde in die Hand gedrückt hatte. Adam musste zugeben, dass er ganz schön cool aussah, obwohl er das nie laut zugeben würde. Nicht, dass Leo ihm als nächstes noch ein bauchfreies Shirt mitbringt.

Leo zwinkerte ihm zu. „Schwuler geht immer.“

„Dann halte ich nachher eben einfach deine Hand. Schwuler als das geht’s jawohl kaum.“

Leos Augenbrauen schossen in die Höhe. „Also ich wüsste da ein paar Dinge, die schwuler sind.“

Adam schlug seine Hand auf die Brust. „Mensch, Leo!“, sagte er. „Das können wir doch nicht auf öffentlicher Straße machen.“

„Dann halt später“, meinte Leo und grinste. Er sah Adam für einen Moment einfach nur an und konnte fühlen, wie sein Herz pochte und angenehme Wärme von Kopf bis zu den Zehen verteilte. Er fühlte sich so geliebt. Adams Augen strahlten und Leo würde alles dafür tun, dass er jeden Tag so glücklich aussah. So unbeschwert.

Er ging einen Schritt auf Adam zu und verschränkte seine Hände hinter Adams Kopf. Weil er noch kein Shirt angezogen hatte, spürte er die ungewohnte Textur von Adams Oberteil auf seiner Haut. Er würde lügen, wenn er sagen würde, dass das Shirt alles andere als heiß an Adam aussah. Dann küsste er Adam.

So ein Kuss im Badezimmer der ersten gemeinsamen Wohnung am Tag des lokalen CSDs war schon etwas Besonderes. Mit einem Lächeln lehnte Leo seinen Kopf zurück und strich Adam die Haare aus dem Gesicht.

„Ich liebe dich“, sagte er nach einem kurzen Moment Stille.

Adam lächelte. Er hob seine Hände und platzierte sie an den Seiten von Leos Kopf. Dann kam er näher mit seinem Kopf und drückte seine Wange gegen Leos für ein paar Sekunden. Als er sich wieder zurücklehnte, grinste er vergnügt und sichtlich zufrieden. „Ich dich auch, Leo,“ sagte er, als ob das nicht klar war.

Auf Leos Wange war nun ein schwacher und etwas verwischter Regenbogen.

Nathan Chen:

First off, I'm so mad he didn't change costumes. He was literally in the VERY FIRST EVENT with this same, plain, boring black shirt and pant combo. This program would do SO WELL with something white with red trim, or TURQUOISE, or even if you wanted something plain, the stupid red shirt he wore for his long program at RC (which I hope he doesn't wear tomorrow).

Second, Jesus H Christ that Quad Lutz-Triple Toe had a base value of 17.90, and he did it clean enough to earn 2.0 in GOE. That is literally insane as a first element.

Third, once he works on his Axels he will literally be unstoppable. His PCS have improved so much since last season, and with his arsenal of quads, he can pick and choose which give him the highest points for each program. It will be interesting to see how he does tomorrow considering his 15 point lead over Rippon.

Adam Rippon:

AHHHH I'm so excited he is in second. And even though he is nowhere near Chen, HE DIDN'T HAVE QUADS, and he is still a respectable 2 points ahead of Sergei Voronov. Personally, I would have made the burgundy mesh a brighter red to match the first song, but it still fits him and his style perfectly.

People are real butt hurt over him not having quads, but his Triple Flip-Triple Toe was very clean and precise. His choreography, steps and spins are top notch and match his music choice and rationality perfectly. Also in Men's, he has one of THE best laybacks. His PCS almost matched Nathan Chen's, and I can definitely see it; very different stylistically, but man the performance aspect was at the same level. Which, makes sense since they both work with Raphe.

Sergei Voronov:

Good for him that he is still accomplishing this much and skating this well at 30. But this skate was definitely not what it was in Japan, and the scores show that. If he skates without the energy he had in Japan or makes any mistakes tomorrow, he might not only continue to stay under Rippon and Chen, but he might even lose his GPF eligibility if he slips past 5th or scores too low.

His jumps are still strong and clean, but his movements aren't finished and his choreography today looked like a skater half his age. His music had so many opportunities for Sergei to make it his own, but he didn't and it wasn't fun to watch. For his sake, I hope he does better tomorrow.

Yan Han:

Is it bad that with this costume, his hair/skin and the music combo that all I can think of is that he looks like Edward from twilight?

His Axel was probably the best out of all of the Short Programs and was times perfectly. Even though he fell on his quad, if is obvious with his huge improvement in musicality, performance and consistency that he deserved that 4th place score. Honestly, his coach and choreographer better have been paid a LOT because they did a phenomenal job with the composition of this program.

Daniel Samohin:

These Israeli skaters are really turning into dark horses this season, and I mean that in a great way. They are succeeding and surpassing most everyone's expectations. Love this music choice, and I'm very impressed by his strong spins.

I also would have loved if both Daniel and Nathan had combined their costumes and switched because I feel they would have fit each others programs better. Also, he is cute but I couldn't stop laughing at him being a fuckboy in the kiss and cry -- flexing and plugging his instagram, I'm dead.

Boyang Jin:

I was a little shocked that he scored so low, because originally I thought he was one of the only skaters in this field who could have been a threat to Nathan Chen. However his popped Axel, and the bobbled Triple Toe put him in a bad place.

Originally, I really liked this music he was skating to, but now I am so unimpressed by it. It does not fit his skating at all, his emotionless expression left me uncomfortable, and I had to literally make myself turn back to watch it because I would get distracted and stop. It's just a very strange mix of music that doesn't really fit figure skating and definitely doesn't fit Boyang well. He will literally have to score a new personal best tomorrow if he wants to make the GPF.

Ross Miner:

I had never seen him skate before tonight but I was very pleasantly surprised. Cool and unique program music and composition wise. Great step sequence and use of the music. Nice jumps besides his popped Axel. Good job for him especially since this was his only GP event.

Knierims:

I really enjoy their dynamic and they have great interviews. Very sleek and fitting costumes for this music, even though I am already sick of all the Moulin Rouge shows this year. I hope Alexa gets that jump down in time for nationals, because their throws are phenomenal. They are very strong and have had a great season so far, and I would love to see them take the US pairs spot. It will definitely be a tight race.

Duhamel/Radford:

Still love her short hair. Very fitting to her style of skating, and Duhamel did wonderfully even while not being given the best platform in this program with some minor errors by Radford. Overall. It was very strong but nothing too special. (Which is always an issue for me with pairs)

Yu/Zhang:

I know it's a rather normal thing with pairs and ice dancing, but I do not like it when there is a 12 year difference in partners. (Which is why theoretically at the Junior level, there could be a 13 year old skating with a 21 year old) I am also so tired of all these Swan shows. Like I get that it is a classic, but we shouldn't have 4-5 different Swan shows just from GP medalists this season. Yu is gorgeous, and very graceful, flexible and nimble. They have great lines on their lifts together, but I would love to see a bit more expression, emotion and chemistry between them.

Savchenko/Massot:

This was probably my favorite pairs skate of the night: it was first and precise and so different from any of the other pieces. Their One handed lift was perfect, and well appreciated by the audience. Also, Aliona is so amazing to be skating so well at this level. while looking so phenomenal at the age of 33. Specifically she was my favorite sister to watch in pairs from the short program.

Okay so thats about it for tonight. I'm legit scared for tomorrow. Not only do we have the Ladies Short and the Short Dance, BUT we find out which pairs skaters AND WHICH MEN ARE GOING TO THE GPF.
