After Abel's design was leaked, I finally dug this out of my forgotten files and decided to finish it.

This is just my personal take on Cain and Abel for an AU I’d like to write someday.

Anyway, more about Adam and Eve's most famous children.

Cain, the firstborn and the family’s problem child. With a bad temper and a long history of reckless decisions made in the heat of the moment, he lost his parents’ and siblings’ trust a long time ago.

It’s not that he means to hurt anyone on purpose, but ever since he realized how different he was from his siblings, he’s struggled to find his place and truly feel like part of the family.

Weird fact: For some reason, Cain seems to age a little more slowly than his siblings.

Abel, the golden boy of the family. he is favored by his parents for his strong, reliable character. As the second oldest child, he’s the one who looks after his younger sisters and keeps Cain in check whenever their parents are out. He can get a bit bossy at times, but he always tries to be the kind of big brother his sisters can rely on.

Even though he plays along with his parents, Abel has his own doubts about their origins and doesn’t fully believe their stories about angels.

Fun fact: Abel is the most powerful human soul after his parents.

You mentioned in your swap AU that Eve is still a good mother despite taking Adam’s place- does that mean that swap Adam still has some of his OG traits and not so great parenting ways?

Yep. he still had that favoritism still going on. He still cussed like a sailor but he does it in such a loving way that you wouldn’t notice the insult

This how I imagine Cain, Abel, and Seth looking and acting.

Cain: Cain is the one who looks and acts the most like Adam. I know that many people like to make Cain short, but I always imagine him tall like almost as tall as Adam. He has Adam’s hair and eye color obviously. The Mark of Cain looks like a very detailed tattoo of the tree bearing the Forbidden Fruit on his back. I can see him getting a lot of piercings when he dies and becomes a Sinner. I imagine his hair being a little shorter than Adam’s hairstyle and being ripped because of working as a farmer and later becoming an assassin in Hell (I have headcanon that Cain became an assassin in Hell that called himself The Nomad).

Abel: I see Abel looking more like Eve, he has short slightly messy silvery blonde hair and silver eyes. He also has Eve’s personality being very friendly, outgoing, and kind of flirty. The only reason why he didn’t become the first soul in Heaven was because he stayed behind on Earth as a spirit to watch over his parents and when Adam died, he went to join him in Heaven making him the second human to enter Heaven. Abel quickly realized that Cain killing him was an accident and instantly forgave him. His height is somewhere between Lucifer’s height and Charlie’s height which made him the shortest of the three brothers. Being a shepard who had to guard the flock against predators made him rather muscular too, though not as muscular as Adam and Cain.

Seth: Seth is a perfect blend of Adam and Eve, he has Adam’s brown hair, but Eve’s silver eyes. Seth is the most studious of the three brothers and has a more lean muscular build. Seth is the same height as Charlie. He likes having his hair long and pulled back into a ponytail. I have a headcanon that when Seth entered Heaven he took an interest in combining Heaven’s angelic magic and advancing technology on Earth and ended up designing Adam’s Exorcist mask and that is why Adam is able to eat with his mask on. Seth is usually more quiet and reserved, but when he sees someone he cares about being hurt by someone, he will unleash his anger on that person which is dangerous because he became quite adept at wielding angelic magic.

Adam and Eve how did Charlie and your kids get along at first? Specially Cain

Eve: They actually get along quite well with Charlie, I think it is because she is very friendly.

Adam: Interestingly Charlie and Abel are alike in many ways, very kind and they try to see the best in most people. In fact it was Cain who noticed that Charlie and Abel were a lot alike in personality.

Like, you're so good at researching and understanding things, and you always have the most interesting things to say for stuff like concepts, analysis or even just simple takes on things. And you're only 22 y/o !!!! My brain totally shut down when reading cringefail's darling explanation on why she's majoring in criminal psychology and omggg all the philosophical and super smart brain talk you have your characters doing with yanderes like chrollo !!!

Is it the books?!? I really must know if you have any tips on just like... becoming smart(???)

awww thank you anon 😭😭 i feel undeserving of such high praise but i appreciate it anyway.

i've never personally considered myself all that intelligent before (war flashbacks to my unholy high school GPA....) if anything, there are a lot of things in the world that fascinate me and i loooove learning. i'm willing to sit down and dedicate hours to studying just about anything. except math. i will always consider math my nemesis. 😡

i'm not entirely sure how i ended up this way... i like thinking about why things are the way they are. that leads you down a bunch of rabbit holes. by the time i emerge from said rabbit hole i have a bunch of random knowledge i can bother people within a ten feet radius about.

i guess just be curious about everything?? it's a beautiful world we live in, full of mystery and intrigue. like why did the dancing plagues happen. wtf is ball lightning. it's crazy out there. there's so much to discover and we get to live in the information age. find some weird niche subject and go ham.
