My mind is forever tainted, for I seem incapable of imagining a "what if Hector stayed by Isaac's side and CoD was them against Trevor" scenario without including a "they hook up with Trevor together" scenario.

concept based on the “what if?” of “what if Ivan didn’t go back with Till when they ran away and instead ended up with the rebellion?”

note: this is going off of the assumption that they were in their early teens during their escape attempt (~13-14)

While watching Till run back to the garden despite being given a chance at freedom, Ivan comes to the conclusion that nothing he can ever give Till will be enough. If nothing Ivan could ever offer Till would compare to Mizi, and he only annoys Till, then he has no real reason to stay. Ivan believes that Till will be happier without him around bothering him constantly and he will be forced to watch Till be in love with Mizi, as well, so he chooses to leave instead. He thinks of it as a selfish decision, leaving his friends and his beloved behind, but he also thinks that they will be better off without him, so it’s not that hard of a pill to swallow.

After leaving, Ivan kind of just drifts for a while before crossing paths with Hyuna, who he recognizes from the Garden. Hyuna recognizes him too and scoops him up off of the street because he reminds her of Luka and if she can take care of Ivan, and he turns out fine, then maybe that will mean that she didn’t fail Luka (and that she didn’t fail Hyun-Woo, by extension)

Taken under Hyuna’s wing, Ivan grows up into someone a little more crass and brusque than his charming persona in canon- as Para (@shakingparadigm) said, his child self is actually really close to his real self, and his child self is blunt, quiet and stoic- and I think that if Hyuna, Dewey and Isaac were some of the figures he was growing up around as a teenager, he would end up presenting more authentically insofar as he would kind of lean into that more brutally-honest side that we can see when he's a little kid. He might be a little more sarcastic and outright rude but he would still have some of his more playful nature we see in his canon adult self (after all, Hyuna’s definitely easygoing and witty, and she, Dewey and Isaac definitely seem like they enjoy just fooling around and shootin' the shit together)

Ivan becomes the rebellion’s bookkeeper! He would still be able to fight and go on missions himself but he would mostly make sure that the money and the documents are in order, allowing the rebellion to execute more covert missions and stay on budget. I just think he’s more of a strategist/planner than someone on the front lines.

At his canon age of ~22 (I think), the new ALNST contestants are announced and he realizes that Sua, Mizi and Till are part of that group, I think he would probably panic. The human rebellion in and of itself seems like it is focused on dismantling ALNST as an institution anyways so having a mission surrounding the upcoming season makes sense but Ivan initially removes himself from it, because it’s personal and he doesn’t want that kind of attachment to cloud his judgment. Hyuna drags him into it, either right before Round 1 or after Sua dies (I really don’t know if I want to keep Sua dying in or not because as much fun as it would be to have Sua, the whole point of this AU is kind of to have Ivan and Mizi both grow on their own, separate from their partners. Ivan would get to do that pre-ALNST and Mizi would do it afterwards). Ultimately, they save Mizi. She and Ivan have a tearful reunion. Though she isn’t happy with him for making her think he was dead, she forgives him.

Eventually they save Till, too, but that’s actually less important tbh. I mean. Ivan and Till have a reunion and Till is glad to see that Ivan is still alive and that Mizi is still alive and he has to work through his own guilt and Ivan is kind of just . . . tired because he might still be in love with Till but at the same time, he came to terms with the fact that Till would never love him back a long, long time ago and he’s way past hoping for something like that

I'm thinking of writing something with this idea but if anyone has any notes or ideas in regards to this AU please let me know! I have some doodles for it that I'm probably gonna post later today or tomorrow . . . who knows though haha

So I’ve seen a lot of headcanons and fics floating around the Cybird/Ikemen fandom spaces about pregnancy or having children, but I have yet to see any childfree content at all, as @sevenai pointed out in a post they made about ikevamp. As such, I’ve put together a list of childfree headcanons for all the ikevamp men for those of us who want such things.

Napoleon — After the tragedy of his only legitimate son’s premature death during his life, I think it’s perfectly plausible that he would not want to try to produce another child of his own. Besides, the children he teaches with Isaac do more than enough to fill the void and warm his heart. I imagine that, at some point, the topic of children would come up and, when his partner would nervously disclose that she doesn’t actually want to have any of their own, he would feel relief.

Leo — Being in a relationship with anyone at all (especially a human) is already more than enough heartbreak, I don’t think he could handle producing a child of his own that he would then have to watch die someday even though no parent should ever outlive their child.

Mozart — This man is obsessive about cleanliness and absolutely cannot tolerate noise. There’s no way in hell he’s ever having a kid.

Arthur — He had five children in his life and so I feel like, for him, he’s already done that and sufficiently fulfilled that desire, so now he doesn’t feel the need to do it over again in this second life. I think he’d be willing to give it a go if that’s what his partner wanted, but I also think he’d be just as content not to.

Vincent — I get that in ikevamp he’s a sweet boy, but he has a past full of tremendous mental health struggles, and I think he’d be afraid of passing that to any potential children. I also think he would be worried about his ability to care for a child.

Isaac — Dude’s already worried he’s going to snack on Comte’s ferret or something, like being in a relationship with a human is PLENTY for him to worry about. Also, he’s a good person who views himself as a dangerous monster, which means he definitely won’t be having kids any time soon. Plus, like Napoleon, he has their little gaggle that they teach and that is genuinely plenty for him. Yeah, I think he’d be perfectly happy to have his partner tell him that there is no desire for children on their part.

Theo — I think he’d be more apathetic about children, where he doesn’t really have a desire for them but he would be willing to have kids if that’s what his partner wanted. He already has his partner, his bother, and his career, and that is more than enough for him to be happy.

Jean — First off, Jean is 19. Secondly, he hates himself and what he is, like Carlisle from Twilight. Maybe he would’ve wanted kids in life, but there is no way in hell he’d want to create half vampire spawn.

Will — Given that he was always running away from his wife and kids in his life, I think it’s safe to assume he never wanted them, even before he died. I think, given the context of his real marriage with Anne, he would be grateful to discover that his partner doesn’t want to have kids with him and it would be another indicator to him that this relationship is actually a good match.

Comte — I think he has no desire of his own for children and I also think he is hella devoted to whoever he chooses to be in a relationship with and will do anything to make them happy, so even if he did want kids he still would 100% fold to a childfree partner. There’s also that element of tragedy like with Leonardo that we’ll also see with Vlad.

Dazai — He’s either actively suicidal or very recently got better and definitely does not feel like he has the capacity to care for a child. Also, someone who hates themselves so much they’d choose to become a vampire solely so they could live long enough to kill their infant self is definitely not going to want to reproduce. Like Isaac, he sees himself as dangerous and I don’t think he would trust himself with something like having kids and I think that being in a relationship is already massively stressful for him.

Sebastian — He has a terminal illness, so there could be concern about passing whatever it is to any future children. He also probably would just not want to have to subject children to dealing with his inevitable, premature death. Even without all that, like if he can get magically cured by Faust or something, I don’t really see him actively wanting to have children, like I think he’d be more of a “travel the world with your partner in a delightfully comfortable DINK arrangement” kind of guy.

Vlad  — Yeah I think he’d 100% just be a “whatever you want” guy who values his partner above all else, including potential people who don’t exist yet.

Faust  — He’s kinda weird with kids tbh in a way that reminds me of myself — uncomfortable but kind of nice and gives in easily to whatever they want — which makes me think he doesn’t really like them and doesn’t really want them. I could see him kind of wanting to reproduce with a human as an experiment, but I really don’t see him genuinely desiring to have children.

Charles  — I get the vibe that he’ll be a very possessive yandere once he’s in a relationship and won’t want to share his partner with anyone at all, including potential children of their own. He actually gives me the impression that even if his partner came to him and shared that they genuinely wanted to have children with him, he might insist they not because of this trait of his.

So I've been rewatching Castlevania and while it is already widely appreciated that Isaac's character arc is one of the best television, I noticed something beautiful that links his character arc to Dracula and Lisa.

Isaac fulfils the hope that Lisa had for Dracula in a way that Dracula never could.

Lisa wanted to change how Dracula saw the world and believed that he could do great good for humanity if he came to see it differently, which is why she told him to walk the earth as a man. However, he never did. Perhaps if he had had more time, if she hadn't died, this may have evolved but perhaps it was also his vampire nature that meant he couldn't see humanity the same way she did. Dracula never became a better person - I think at best he suppressed his contempt for humanity and his violent desires for Lisa's sake.

Isaac begins from the same point as Dracula in the depths of his madness: he despises humanity and believes the world would be better without it. He is actually worse than Dracula was when Lisa met him.

When Dracula saves Isaac, sending him out into the desert, he forces him to walk the earth - as a man - where in doing so he meets the various people who will shift his perspective and change him fundamentally. He literally completes the physical, emotional and spiritual journey that Lisa wanted Dracula to experience.

In the end, Isaac may not have had the vast knowledge and experience of ages but he takes his great power as a forgemaster - powers that we see largely exploited for evil (although all the forgemasters we meet bring into question the inherent immorality of the act - Isaac and his humanised night beasts, Hector and his pets, Miranda living a normal life in a town (although maybe her past was shady who knows)) - and actively chooses to use it for good. He says that he has come to see that 'Dracula did not run things well, even before his wife died'. He intends to do better - to make things better than they were before Lisa first knocked on Dracula's door for help.

Could I request the vampires of your choice reacting to the fledgingly presenting cute and adorable only to end up seeing that they are absolutely terrifying in the end. Like, they cause even the bravest of kindred to feel terror. Just cute but spooky 👻

LaCroix- Listen if there's two things he loves most in this world (after himself, of course) it's decadence and surprise attacks. You're like a dream come true! He can basically use you as decor for his office, and sick you on people. It might be a bit more strained if your flavor of cute is something more along the lines of bright colors or like scene or something. That doesn't match the curtains. However, loves the Lolita look(strictly the fashion, not the questionable stuff).

Imalia- Similar to LaCroix, except since she was in the fashion industry, she likes seeing the outfits/make up/general looks you come up with. Gets so caught up in the dress up game, that she forgets how much of a threat you are. The other Nos don't, and she has no problem telling them she'll send you after them as a scare tactic. Sees you as "my style buddy that bites people sometimes."

Skelter- It wasn't that he totally hated you, but like with how innocent you looked he thought that you were going to be a constant problem they would have to look after. When Nines reminded him that the Anarchs could use all the help they could get, Skelter was still hesitant... for two minutes. When a full grown biker walked away from you sobbing, he knew you could take most people down. Still worried that your cute nature will give the wrong impression about the group as a whole.

Isaac- You actually kinda embarrass him. Not that he cares about your personality or style; he's been in Hollywood long enough to have seen plenty varieties on both those things. What he had also been for a long time was a baron. That meant he was able to clock peoples' personalities; that included yours. However, not everyone else was that astute, so all many people saw was their feared leader nervous about a rabbit in human(kindred, I guess) form.

Andrie- Look, I know I choose him a lot for these things, but I think it's hilarious in this case. Especially if you dress in what's considered a cutesy style too. Like, you have the dark, foreboding, creature of the night and right next to him is like, Hatsune Miku or something. Like, it's a terrible situation for the victims either way, but the last thing they see is 👹🦄

"You've got to be fucking kidding me." Y/n muttered under her breath, ready to up and leave.

She stood up, standing in front of Isaac, her neck craning to meet his eyes.

Her eyes pleaded for Isaac to look up and meet them, and for him to understand.

Y/n hated herself for reacting as she was; she hated being human and having sensitive moments. Though she could not stop it.

He finally met eyes with his girlfriend, a flash of regret washed over his face, but only for a split second, "I’m sorry."

There was pity in Isaac’s eyes and she didn’t want to see it. She didn’t want to look at the man that had turned her world upside down. Those eyes once held a breathtaking adoration and now they merely gazed at her as though they had never met.

It had happened so fast- yet she couldn’t say she didn’t see it coming. Not with his youtube career and being so taxing with all the attention coming in.

He was a different person to her- he was a person she did not like. His YouTube persona seemed to have leaked into his real self and he became cocky. Unaware of his girlfriends feelings.

Even when him and the boys decided to move into each other he didn’t take her into consideration- in fact he didn’t even consider to tell her until the move was already being made.

She felt like he was choosing his career over her. She’d been pushed aside.

"Fuck you, Isaac." She held back a sob, willing herself not to cry

The following weeks and even months Isaac was his usual self while Y/n spent most of her time avoiding him.

It was hard to avoid someone when you lived in the same house, however.

One day Y/n was in the over, grabbing a quick snack before she started to stream, when the guys had gotten back home from the gym - including Isaac

Y/n crossed her arms as Isaac peered over the shoulders of Nick to peek at her, striding into the kitchen

"hey, what's up." His eyes wandered her for a quick second before turning to the opened fridge, a smile on his face the whole time.

"I should get going, see you later, guys." She cleared her throat, collecting her things and exiting the room.

Y/n had not even acknowledged his existence; he could tell she was actively ignoring him, yet that didn't stop him from acting as if he had no clue as to why she would be angry with him whenever they crossed paths. Every time he would enter a room, she would abruptly leave-- it made encounters in the house awkward. He could tell she was staring him down; eyes narrowed with annoyance, yet every time he would look at her, she averted her gaze and acted as if she wasn’t watching him.

Did it hurt? Maybe, but he wasn’t about to let her know that it was getting to him.

She knew deep down that she shouldn’t be upset about his abrasiveness. He didn’t owe her anything; they hadn’t even spoken since their breakup.

He knew she wanted nothing to do with her, but he didn't want to accept it.

Eventually, Isaac got sick of her leaving every time he so as much as breathed near her, chasing her out of the living room and up the stairs, "Come back, babe."

She cringed at his nonchalant tone, shaking her head, quickly picking up her pace and pretending she hadn’t heard anything.

This kept up until she reached her roome, only to finally turn around to face the boy, a look of relief washed over him before his usual camera ready look came back and grabbing her wrist.

"Do not fucking touch me!" She shoved him and watched as he stumbled back

"I thought I could trust you, Isaac. You looked me in my fucking eyes and basically told me to go fuck myself." She exhaled, blinking back tears and avoiding eye contact with him.

With a shit eating grin he composed himself, "I miss you."

"keep up this fucking act and I'll never speak to you again." She was agitated by his little act, no one was around - no cameras were on, She wasn’t one of the boys- so he had no reason to keep it up.

"I wanna get back together." For a second Y/n thought she heard his act break, genuine regret for betraying her.

"Tell me you love me." She felt her throat run dry, lip quivering as she looked up at the boy, keeping up her stern look.

He cocked an eyebrow, "what?"

"Tell me you love me." She repeated, not breaking eye contact with him.

They've never told each other that before, it was always implied, though, so they felt no need to. Of course she loved him, but she needed to know he was serious about them.

"I'm sorry for whatever I did to you." He apologized, rubbing his face nervously.

Of course he wouldn't say it; he had a newfound ego too big for his own good.

"I hope it was worth it, then." She sighed, turning on her heel and without another word sliding into her room, leaving Isaac alone with his pride-- although he didn't feel very prideful right then.

Y/n was relieved to find out Isaac wasn't home when she had got back, having promised she'd help prepare dinner; the boys couldn't get enough of her cooking.

The house was empty, though, and that's when she received a text from Larry telling her they were running a little late.

It didn't bother her, she'd simply begin without them.

She sighed deeply as she collected ingredients, allowing her tense shoulders to relax just slightly. She wasted no time and began preparing the meal.

She heard the door being thrown open, and in came Isaac saying something obnoxiously loud. He felt himself freeze under her gaze. She felt like a deer in headlights.

The two of them just stared at each other for longer than necessary.

She turned her back to him again. She'd learned to just ignore his existence instead of removing herself from whatever room he was in.

"Y/n," He started, his accent completely dropped, "I'm sorry."

She kept her back to him, showing no sign she was listening, but he had caught her interest.

"I'm done with all this bullshit, I promise." He pleaded and she believed him for a second-- just a second.

An awkward silence settled between them. Neither wanted to be the first to move, yet neither made a move to leave. There was a couple of seconds of this that seemed to drag on before y/n cleared her throat and straightened up.

"Why? Not because you give a shit about how I felt about anything, right?" She spoke confidently, working away at cutting up some vegetables.

"No-"

She cut him off, "I don't care nor want your bullshit excuses." A sigh left her lips.

"Because I love you."

“Wh-what?” She questioned, more taken aback than actually confused.

"I love you, y/n. I never stopped since starting all this YouTube shit and I don't wanna die before I could tell you that." He repeated, taking the few steps from the door to where she stood

Y/n suddenly felt hyper-aware of every nerve of her body as she finally faced him, unable to talk.

She wasted no time leaning forward to capture a kiss from him. It was everything he had fantasized about since their break off; her lips were soft, and her skin smelt of strawberries.

Their arms wrapped around each other and he lifted her up onto the counter, her legs wrapping around his waist and letting the contents clash as they fell against the counter and the floor.

He pulled away from her, taking in all her features that he wasn't able to admire before. He changed since the beginning of all this, but she did too- and he didn't know she could get any prettier.

She let her hands slide down his neck and then wrapped her arms around her shoulders, "I love you, Isaac."

"You guys friends again?" Tanner spoke from the door, Larry and Nick close behind.

"We're at peace- for now." She smiled, scrunching her nose at Isaac, which he thought was the cutest thing ever. "For now?" He questioned, but she was already gone into the kitchen.

"what do you mean for now?" He chased after her, earning a laugh y/n as they shared a look.

Another reason the "wonderful in a vacuum" scene of Lenore choosing to look at Hector in her last seconds of her life doesn't hit as it should, is that the show didn't do what it could have to build up this moment. And I'm not just talking about how Lenore never loved Hector in the first place so her final moment of caring feels mocking.

In S3E6, she says this:

Hector: Daylight can be nice, too. Lenore: I'll take your word for it. Hector: You don't remember daylight? Lenore: Never much cared for it. I was always a night person. Hector: You might be missing something, you know. Only coming out at night. Lenore: Oh, I don't think so. Just look. I can't see how the sun would improve this view.

Now, this is not a bad moment. First of all, it's all part of Lenore's manipulations to make Hector accept to work for them ("Look at this lovely view! Surely you'll want to stay here, won't you?"), and it's a good strategy because while Hector is a human and not afraid of the sun, he's already accustomed to living among creatures of the night. Plus, her preference for the night fits her and her attempted aesthetic of "sad winter princess". And, of course, I doubt they had planned her suicide by sunlight when they wrote S3.

But in S4, the topic never comes up again, when it could have quite nicely. Since Lenore spends the whole season feeling sorry for herself, repeating the information "Carmilla's plan makes me feel useless", for a change she could have snuck in something like this:

"You know, it's funny. I haven't seen the sun in two hundred years. I almost forgot how it looks like... How it would feel for the sunlight to hit my skin without it blistering. The moon has its beauty, of course, but..."

One, this could be a genuine bonding moment between Lenore and Hector. As I pointed out, she only strikes casual conversations with him in S3 for the sake of manipulating him: once she's "solved his problem", she mostly vents about her personal issues, and the only natural, mutually respectful conversation they have is the one about strength and power just before her suicide, which is far too late. Maybe they could talk about what they miss, what they'd like to see... with the added irony that Hector is trapped in that castle so he can't do anything he would like to do, and it's all Lenore's fault to boot. Maybe Hector's lack of concrete answer would not only hint at hidden resentment, but it could foreshadow how he actually didn't think far ahead because he's secretly waiting for Isaac to come and kill him, or that his only plan for the future is to destroy the Council, which he's keeping under wraps; but it would also be nice if he had a dream, like going to see the ocean again. hector in s4 sorely lacks a personality that is not his depressing love for lenore and i would love to fix it

Two, it could be symbolic of Lenore regretting her vampire nature, or perhaps even foreshadowing her flirting with the idea of killing herself if Carmilla's plan comes to fruition, since another criticism is that Lenore decides to kill herself with the same consideration one chooses which dress to wear for the day. Lenore, as her basic concept, wants to be the bridge between humankind and vampirekind, and there are hints of this, such as her makeup that make her look like a living human being (contrast her with Carmilla, who looks like a corpse), her declaration that she enjoys eating food equating it to living a good life, and her insistence to use diplomacy in a culture that thrives on war and conquest, which gives her the reputation of being soft and weak. So, it would make sense for her to, at one point, drop her mask and admit that she misses the human pleasure of the sunlight, maybe even expressing subtle envy that Hector can experience it; the Lenore in S3 was a bundle of lies carefully woven to lower Hector's guard, but now she is fully sincere and open, showing her heart to the one person who would listen to her. It would be cute and sad at the same time if she asked him to describe him what the sun feels like, and Hector gave a wishy-washy answer, because he has never cared about it - or rather, his own humanity, paralleling Lenore in yet another aspect.

Of course, during the same time Hector is taking advantage of Lenore's inability to stand in the daylight to study on his own and plot behind her back, so the scene would be even more tragic. Hector is already benefiting from his own humanity to cause Lenore's downfall.

And three, her final choice would have more weight. Not only, with the added context, Lenore's grief would be more easy to interpret as "no matter how hard I try, I'm a cursed creature doomed to live in misery and spread misery, I'm tired of living in the night" and not "weh i refuse to live in a cage :< sorry hector idc about you i refuse to live if i don't have a shred of power", but also, well. Lenore wanted to see the sun. She has found the courage to see the sun, knowing that it will nor reconnect her with her lost humanity, but it will only lead to her death. And then... at the last moment... she renounces it. Sure, the sun is pretty, much like the moon... but neither of them, in the end, can compare to Hector, who is one of a kind, who, unlike the sun, cared about her. Now it works, after more buildup.

(also it would be much nicer if Lenore melted like Dracula, instead of turning into pretty dust. Show her as the monster she never accepted herself to be.)

Now, this only fix only a fraction of the infinite and immense issues I have with Lenector in S4. It needs to be reworked from the foundations, and I focused too much on Lenore when the source of my anger is everything surrounding Hector and the sanification of Lenore's actions. But look at how easy it is to build a much more organic chemistry, when you don't waste precious screentime on dick jokes and rape apologism! The building blocks are all here! I'm just so profoundly sad when I see the botched attempt of a good story and it wouldn't have taken much effort to improve it, just respect for your own writing.

Gentlemen Don't Kiss and Tell (Sterek Ficlet)

Scott made Isaac go with him for the refill of drinks and snacks. Derek took one look at their retreating backs, slipped out from behind Stiles, and got up without much of a comment. Lydia shrugged and called a toilet break.

That left Allison and Stiles as the only two - coincidentally human - pack members holding up the fort, which was rather fitting because the sheer number of pillows and blankets on the floor of Derek's loft could certainly make up a pillow fort. Stiles was half tempted to make the suggestion, or even just a joke about it, just to see Derek's face.

But then again, Derek had agreed to half them all come over for a pack night, and that had taken quite a bit of convincing. Maybe Stiles shouldn't tease him too much, at least for tonight. He took a last sip of his non-alcoholic-Derek-it's-fine drink and settled into the warmth that the sourwolf had left behind.

"So, uhm," Allison said in silence, and when Stiles looked over at her, it almost seemed like she was blushing. Well, this would be interesting. Or terrifying. Those tended to overlap a lot these days, seriously.

"I'm worried where this is going," Stiles told her, and when she gave him a stern look, he added: "Go on, go on."

Stiles certainly could not point any fingers regarding the broaching of odd or embarrassing topics. His brain-to-mouth filter was not actually as nonexistent as he liked to pretend it was, but it was far too funny to catch his friends off guard to stop.

"You and Derek," Allison eventually prompted. "You..."

She made a rather crude hand movement that had Stiles snort. So this was what her line of questioning was about. Oh, well.

"We fuck, yes," he said candidly. "But listen. If this is a sex question, you really shouldn't ask me. Especially because I don't want to know what you and Scott are up to."

Stiles made an exaggerated gagging noise and snatched another pillow to settle in more comfortably against the rather hard edge of the couch table they had pushed back a little. Ow. What was taking them all so long?

Allison raised her eyebrows at him, clearly unimpressed with his attitude.

"Thanks," she said a little sourly.

"You're most welcome," Stiles told her. "And now, quickly ask whatever you're about to ask before I change my mind."

She didn't quite huff at that comment and appeared to choose her words very carefully before she spoke again.

"Does werewolf anatomy... change things?" Allison asked, and for a long moment, Stiles's mind blanked because he didn't even understand the question entirely. His mind latched onto something else instead.

"Wait, does that mean you haven't-"

"I thought you didn't want to know?"

"Not in specific terms!"

"We haven't. You guys have, now, back to my question," Allison quickly summarized the whole situation. Her patience was running thin.

It was then that Stiles caught up.

"Are you asking me if Derek has a knot ?"

Allison blushed a furious red and spluttered. It was so unlike her that Stiles couldn't help the gasping laughter that had him struggle to breathe. It was perhaps a little mean, but he honestly didn't mean to.

"Oh god," he hiccuped and really wanted to stop laughing, but he really couldn't.

"What so funny?" Scott asked with a curious look as he reappeared behind Allison. To her credit, she didn't even jump at his sudden appearance. It took a while to get used to these werewolves, but you eventually just did.

"Nothing really," Allison said, delivering it with enough of an eye roll to be believable. As they settled back down, Stiles slowly calmed himself. It helped that Derek finally grabbed him by the back of his neck when Stiles drew in a few breaths rather painfully, dragged him into his chest, and told him, "Breath, you're making yourself sick."

There was more laughter for the rest of the night, but eventually, it got so late that Derek didn't even have to play the 'I might not be the alpha, but I can definitely still throw you out' card.

After their friends had left and Stiles had taken a quick shower, he settled on the bed and scrolled through a few notifications on his phone. The bed dipped when Derek joined him, seemingly satisfied with the state of the loft.

"So," Derek prompted when Stiles looked up. "What was that about earlier?"

Stiles grinned and then leaned in close for a kiss that Derek quickly yielded for. They kept trading kisses that weren't really meant to led anywhere. It was kind of sweet to just cosy up together like this.

Derek let himself be manoeuvred to sit more firmly on the bed when Stiles pushed a little at him and finally straddled his thighs. After they parted, Derek gave him a considering look. And an eyebrow, of course, there was that raised eyebrow.

"Was it that kind of question then?" he asked, and Stiles couldn't help but run a thumb over his blood-flushed lower lip. He almost started laughing again when he thought about Allison's face.

"She wanted to know if your dick has a knot," Stiles told him with a shrug and watched Derek's lips drag up in a grin. He shook his head a little.

"And what did you tell her?"

Stiles shrugged. "Well, you know, the literature says that it's not a concern for anyone who isn't born a wolf-"

Derek directed him back into a kiss with a hand at the side of his neck and shut Stiles up very effectively.

You're right. I was the monster in his eyes, as much as he was to me. I hurt him, I turned my back on him and destroyed his life. By the time I realized that the matter was more complicated than what I thought... it was too late. Isaac deserved better.

But not from me. I was not the right person to make him happy.

Isaac loved with an unmatched passion. And with that passion, he chose to love Dracula more than himself, and he chose to follow him in his insanity. I couldn't follow them, and he wouldn't listen to me.

Was I selfish? Undoubtedly. But I can't blame myself for the human instinct of self-preservation. I wanted to live, and I wanted to live as a human being, free of constraints, not a pawn in a senseless slaughter.

Should have I died too, in the name of a friendship built on shared misery?

Isaac died because, ultimately, he didn't care about living, and he didn't care about freedom. He loved a monster, and he became one, and he died like one.

I could blame Dracula, who was cruel enough to take in two children in need and twist them to suit his purposes. I, myself, am taking care of children who were abandoned by the world, and the mere thought of doing to them what Dracula did to us makes me shudder. But he's dead, too, and I used to respect the man inside him too much to dismiss him as a mere spawn of Hell. I've seen what resentment can do to you, and I reject it.

I choose to remember Isaac as the kind boy who welcomed me in the castle and befriended me without thinking twice. That's all I can say in the matter.

Do you like dead space? The dead space franchise?? Do you want to hear about dead space?

Last year they released a remake for the first game! Anyway my favorite game from the series would have to be dead space 2, I love the new necromorphs and the added lore to unitology and the whole thing with convergence actually being a thing. In the first game released 2008 convergence actually wasn’t a thing yet. All we knew was the marker, the necromorphs, and unitology. Which is honestly why I like dead space 2 so much. I mean also the advanced suit which is literally the coolest fucking suit EVER. Anyway, did you know that the original dead space game was actually gonna be way different? As it is now it’s a survival sci-fi horror where you play as Isaac Clarke, an engineer who is trying to make sure the entire ship (USG Ishimura) doesn’t go under since everyone is either dead or now a necromorph. More importantly he is actually looking for his girlfriend who was a nurse on the ship. How the game was originally going to be was actually how Callisto protocol is. In other words, it was going to be that you were a prisoner, but some sort of infection is going around and turning people into horrible monsters that go and kill everyone else. I’m really glad they decided to not go with that idea, because the whole thing with unitology and convergence with the added PAIN of Nicole (Isaac’s girlfriend) really makes for a great game. Callisto protocol kinda fell flat for me, the weapons were kinda lame and the fighting was a bit jank but the designs were pretty cool. Nothing will ever beat necromorphs though. My favorite of the single body necromorphs would probably be the unitologist slasher, the puker, or the stalker. The unitologist slasher in specific areas doing the unitology hand symbol thing and the fact that their faces are completely obliterated is kind of poetic given what unitology is (it’s the belief that death, conversion to necromorphs, and convergence into a sentient meat planet essentially is the final steps of evolution for humanity when in all reality it is just the brethren moons way of reproducing). I like pukers because of how severely messed up they are, their faces are hollow and their flesh is melted due to the acid they hold their lungs. It’s twisted and malformed and the designs for the legs are absolutely so cool. Stalkers im biased for because I loved dinosaurs, I loved xenomorphs, I mean it’s a human contorted into basically a raptor and it screams at you and looks awesome ITS COOL! But god Isaac Clarke is such a great character. Like I said he’s just an engineer who in the end of it all wants to find and save his girlfriend because he was the one who encouraged her to take the job on the ishimura. Spoiler warning in case anyone was actually reading this and wanting to play the games. Anyway Nicole is dead, even before you start playing she was already dead and Isaac knew that. He received her last transmission, all she could really say is everything was falling apart and how scared she was, but she ultimately decided it was better if she did it herself instead of being turned into a necromorph. Isaac watched Nicole die, the one person in his life that was there for him, that tried to help him, that stayed with him and he loved her soooooooo much, so seeing that transmission kind of just broke him. He pushed it out of his head and refused to believe it. And it just gets so much worse because the marker, the thing that created necromorphs, is capable of creating hallucinations and delusions for people making them more susceptible to being killed, killing, or helping the marker reach the convergence event in order to create a brethren moon. Throughout the game Isaac experiences hallucinations, they get worse and worse until he finally finds what he thinks is Nicole and because he jsut wants her alive and well he chooses to believe it, in the end healing the marker get exactly what it wanted.

Convergence events are triggered by the markers when there is enough biomass. So these brethren moons, are moon sized living beings. They literally farm species. I’m dead space lore, the asteroid that hit the earth and killed the dinosaurs was the red marker. It was designed to take out the dinosaurs as the brethren moons know what they need in a species in order to reproduce a new moon. The marker sends out signals to the species, encouraging growth in intellect, and also creating the internal greed leading to over using the environment and being forced to find new ways to get materials such as going to the stars. This influence is key not only to create an intelligent species but for small cues in their genes to be easily triggered when they have reached their peak. This is when a necromorph outbreak will begin to occur. First, people have to be near the marker. It produces energy signals that are highly desired as it looks to be free energy, so obviously this draws attention and leads to people studying the marker extensively. Then it starts to hit those genetic cues. It depends on the person, but most will exhibit signs of heightened stress and anxiety, hallucinations as well. People who are unable to hold the knowledge of how to create more markers are driven insane, often times becoming extremely hostile as they hallucinate others to be monsters or believe that others are trying to harm them in some other way. It begins with a body, the marker also has something similar to a viral bacteria that it used to create the first few necromorphs. Once there is a dead body in proximity, it takes a bit of time but eventually it can “reanimate” it (necromorphs are NOT alive, they are simple a collection of muscles being moved around, they can’t be killed but dismemberment can stop them) the first few necromorphs are always slashers. They have large blades and strong legs, they can quickly crawl through vents and are quick and good at killing. Once there’s enough slashers around to protect the marker it moves on to creating infectors, those are severely mutilated human corpses, but their main purpose is to speed up the infection. They have a long proboscis that is designed to stab through human skulls and inject the bacteria. With infectors, the switch from human to necromorph only takes seconds. This allows for other forms of necromorphs to be created. It depends on a number of things for what determines what type of necromorph will come from a human, but the marker uses the materials to the best of its abilities. People with somethingike acid reflux may be more prone to becoming a puker, people who have been cut in half or just have a much stronger upper body may become a leaper (leg less torsos that can crawl and jump extreme distances) if the infection is along far enough the marker may begin to attack in other ways, such as creating wheezers (oo wee ooo) that cough up poisonous gasses to kill off any remain in survivors passively. Sometimes a corpse just becomes part of the corruption, which is often seen as meaty growth along the walls and floor of any areas. In the ishimura it blocks door ways, slows people down, grows tentacle like things that can grab and drag people down. It can also work a bit like the wheezers by relaeasing the poisonous gasses but it works much slower than the wheezers do, much more passive stuff. The most dangerous thing the corruption can do is create wall guardians. Humans can be absorbed into the corruption and have a stationary necromorph that can prevent survivors from traversing as easily. They are extremely dangerous and hard to kill without proper weapons. As mentioned necromorphs are dead, all you can do is dismember them to make it so they are unable to attack you so it’s not just an easy one and done shot.

Brethren moons are so super cool. They are the signs of previously powerful species, they are the reason we are alone. They harvest and kill in order to create life for themselves. A brethren moon requires an intelligent species in order to become what it is. They are hyper intelligent hive minds that are all connected. They share the same abilities of the markers but scaled to like times 100. In dead space, there is a level of intelligence that shows itself as the ability to read others minds, or if cultivated act as a hive mind. Every human has the ability to be born with it but it is rare and again one human could have that ability but it is such a low level it will likely never be noticed unless convergence occurs. Isaac Clarke does not have this ability, but he does have the other form of intelligence that makes him much more dangerous and thus more desired by the brethren moons. He is able to withstand the marker signal better than others (that doesn’t mean he can fully withstand it but yknow) which means he is able to have the instructions for HWO to create more markers implanted in his head. But that also means he can defeat the markers plans (if we are going by dead space 3 non dlc ending that means he can also defeat brethren moons but I don’t like dead space 3 very much so im not counting it) the entire idea is built around levels of intelligence, and there’s so many different levels of it. Humans as a whole are smart, but everyone has different intelligences in different areas and I’ve always been really interested in stuff like that

His fav outfit is the one he usually wears ! He loves the super baggy white or black t-shirt + sweatpants combo and that's the majority of his wardrobe LMAO

• Pico :

Pico fucking loooves the sweater he gets halfway through S2, its like, his biggest comfort item but his fav outfit is something i have yet to draw. Black turtleneck (or tank top) + cardigan that's way too big for him + ripped black jeans. I don't think he cares about shoes JDJDHD

He rarely puts a lot of thought in what he wears/what he looks like, but this is one of the few things that he feels really fucking nice while wearing it !! He only uses it when he's trying to feel cool/fancy

Gf likes playing dress up when she goes shopping (and she then proceeds to leave without buying anything) and sometimes Pico and Bf go with her, and that's how he got them :D

Gf's fav outfit is pretty much just her usual look but add a leather jacket + some fun looking earrings and maybe different heels !

Fun fact: that's what she was wearing when her and Bf first met in swim slowly :]

GIGGLINGGGG I'm probably only gonna do Bf for this one bc I'm still unsure about the other 2... BUT THIS IS SOMETHING I THOUGHT A LOT ABOUT

This is another thing that I still have to draw jdhdgd But Bee actually gets tattoos after he's been together with Gf and Pico for a while. He has two bugs on his ribcage: a stag beetle for Gf and a moth for Pico !!!

I still gotta think about a more natural reason why chooses these djdhdh but they represent some pretty important things about the way i characterize them in S2

I chose a beetle for Gf (bc theyre cool and biasedjfhd) bc they have a strong exoskeleton that protects + shapes them. This reminds me a lot of her issues in S2 and how she had to build strong walls to survive the environment she was raised in + and how that extends to her shapeshifting. This results in her appearing to be put together when she's not and the moment she leaves her parents house to live with Bf and Pico all these do is make her feel trapped/isolated from them. She has to go on a really long path to break them + get used to the way things are now.

I think it's kinda obvious why i picked a moth for Pico djhdhd he's constantly chasing warm/comfort/safety no matter how much he tries to convince himself that he doesn't deserve good things. I love him. The yearner. He's constantly throwing himself in dumb situations and then being like. Idk why i did that!!! It's because he's so lonely and keeps isolating himself. It's because he's desesperate for human connection

Lyanni and Adrian meeting was a very uncomfortable time for both of them.

Basically, Lyanni had slighted her people's temples by digging a little too deep into their secrets and because their word is law, she was turned from the heiress of a fallen noble house into a slave destined for the mines, or worse.

Adrian, having just won a rather brutal war for Lyanni's people, was offered a choice of slaves to choose a servant from, and she was the only one he could save without destroying a delicate political balance integral to his job, despite abhorring the entire concept with his very being.

The first thing they ever agreed on was to pretend that that whole ordeal had never happened, that their official relationship according to the documents didn't exist and that they were just housemates. And of course, that blossomed into friendship and finally into a romance of some exceptional blindness all round.

Adrian Castellan and Dima Leznitsky (Children of the Wolves):

Dima was Adrian's boyfriend before he left Callisto, and they actually met while trying to do the exact same thing.

Adrian and his siblings had tried -and rather catastrophically failed- to secure a trade deal with another clan, resulting in him booking it through the lower parts of Hab-tower 6 while being chased by another clan's warriors and eventually pulling the old "slip into the same booth as someone at a restaurant and act like you belong there" trick.

The person whose booth he slipped into turned out to be Dima Leznitsky, who was actually doing something similar to hide from a Solar Homeguard search party and to figure out what he was going to do next, which is how Dima ended up living with clan Castellan for a few months and him and Adrian becoming more involved in that sense.

Jason Haliday and Helga Ravenscar (The Tempest Prince):

I distinctly remember them meeting because Jason called Helga out for purposefully intimidating some of the younger kids that trained with them only to proceed to getting his ass beat in a duel for the next... 4, 4½ hours?

Yeeeaah, he became a magos for a reason, man's can't fight worth toffee...

It was a bit of a trainsmash, but after ironing out some kinks from both their sides, they became inseparable and a long adventure later, share the surname 'Snowsong'.

Alex Haliday and Isaac Blackwell (The tempest Prince):

Unfortunately, Alex isn't the POV character of the first few books, so there's only really snippets of their meeting (although I want to actually change this in my second draft to have multiple POVs including this scene.

Anyways, Alex and Isaac met because of the inter-city blood games, where both of them had had a sibling representing their respective city in the unascended category (basically: regular humans beating the shit out of each other, not hunters yet) and we're supporting them

They had a somewhat cute scene with Alex trying to give Isaac his number and learning very quickly that Allyria doesn't have any cell coverage, but they did hit it off and made plans to meet up again, which did work out after the chaos that was the war of transcendance.

Lyanni and Adrian:

Lyanni early in the book might've felt a bit uncomfortable, but would've brushed it off. Later in the book she would definitely go full passive-aggressive or aggro mode, and I think she actually has a line in the book where she says something along the lines of "Excuse you, b****," to someone who was flirting with Adrian in a very obvious manner.

Adrian's just fucken oblivious, but if he did manage to notice he'd handle it in classic Adrian fashion: sauntering up to Lyanni and asking a seemingly casual question while putting emphasis on referring to her as 'My love' or something along those lines. Something he just doesn't usually do, but that would signal to the other person to back off. If he missed his opportunity, he'd feel a bit jealous but wouldn't really show it.

Adrian and Dima:

Imma be honest, these two were more so a case of a very passionate and hastily made decision backfiring than anything else.

Even younger Adrian is just oblivious to these things, but considering what Dima ended up doing to Adrian and his people, I don't think he would've cared enough to feel anything about it.

Jason and Helga:

See, early Jason and Helga would just ignore this to try and not cause a scene.

By the time they start dating, they're both comfortable in their relationship to have decided to make a game out of this.

I'm going to use an example where Jason is getting flirted with and Helga watches this happen, but it works the same the other way around as well.

In this example, Jason will play really, really stupid to the interested party's flirtations, trying to throw them off and make them uncomfortable as they try to be ever less subtle to get their point across. In comes Helga, acting like a totally unknown individual who's also interested.

The goal is to see how badly they can get the other person to embarrass themselves in an attempt to flirt before giving up, and it's actually a common enough occurrence (thanks to people trying to use them for status and power) that this is how they pass the time at social functions

Alex and Isaac:

Alex has a bit of a confidence issue thanks to his power making a lot of people afraid of him or deem him as 'subhuman' (even though only the children are fully human in the hunter cities in any case), and so he'd sulk about it quite badly, but he'd just back off: believing that Isaac deserves better than him in any case.

Isaac on the other hand, is rearing to start some shit. Hallowsteel knocks out sensation for about an hour and having a prosthetic arm lined with the stuff he's not afraid to give someone temporary full body paralysis for trying to flirt with his man. In fact, one of the biggest things Alex lectures him on is to 'stop stunning people, goddamnit'

Ooh, this one's a challenge, partially because I have a headache and don't completely understand it -the wording is kinda weird. Uhhh the first one that comes to mind is that I'm choosing to believe that all the overblotters are actually related to the great seven. Like, it's already confirmed for Malleus and Idia, and they described the beastmen as having specific animal dna yeah? So if Leona has lion dna and is from the royal family of the savannah where the king of beasts ruled, that could imply a blood relation to Scar. Kalim said he has relatives in the royal family, which implies he could be a distant descendant himself, and the Vipers have been serving his family time out of mind, so it's not a long shot that they could be the same family Jafar was from. Azul's species and appearance is really unusual among mermen, and also exactly like the sea witch, and he comes from a line of mages including a grandma who was described as having a similar role in their town to Ursula. So like, why not? I have no direct linkup to make with Riddle and Vil, but it's not unusual for royal families to have a bunch of offshoots well into the modern era, so it's definitely plausible. 乁⁠(⁠ ⁠•⁠_⁠•⁠ ⁠)⁠ㄏ

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

Oof it's so hard to pick just one character from each story, but let's see. I'm watching castlevania at the moment, and there's so many good characters, but it's season 3 and Isaac is really stealing the show, so, Isaac. I really love the growth throughout this season, the way he grows, and the reason for changing. I'm enamored by the idea of him setting out for revenge with enough hate to condemn all humankind, and being met with little acts of human kindness along the way until he's inspired to look at himself as something worth valuing who deserves to want things, and by the time he reaches his target, he's run out of hate and replaced it with a will to live. Not to mention his personality, which is hard to break down into highlights, he's just a good and interesting character, I adore him. Crowley from good omens, moreso the book than the show. When I first read it back when I was like, 10 or so? I think? It was one of my first encounters with a character who was slated to be the badguy categorically, would always be perceived as the badguy because of what he is, and isn't trying to fight it, but is just a compassionate person anyway. It meant the world to me at the time and is still really important, he was a childhood hero to me and supportive fixation. Aaand kinda obscure pull but Miles from the Miles Vorkosigan saga by Lois McMaster Bujold. I haven't read since I was a kid, but I remember him being a fun complex action adventure gremlin, and the series itself was really engaging with a lot of social concepts that I hadn't been exposed to before in stories, including the first time I'd ever heard about a trans man! And Miles himself was a protagonist dedicated to defending the marginalized, rather than the trope of hero who vanquishes the strange and scary. I had a massive crush on him for a while there.

Look at him <3 Discovering his home absolutely destroyed for the first time <3 Not quite realising his dear Lord is dead yet... because the shock is just too great... and then this bat flies to him and it's a sign of hope. You can see it in his eyes, "if this bat is here then it means i'm not alone yet, it means He is still-" and then the next panel the bat dies :) And so does all his hope. Rage blooming inside him to cover the grief. :) This page is the last moment of Isaac's sanity before it starts sliping away <3 (in this version of the events, at least)

Leon:

Favorite thing about him: This man has left his whole life behind to go save his betrothed. He turned his back on the church he has served for years and thought probably very highly of, because they'd rather fight other humans than monsters. And he was having none of this shit <3 He just left them, even gave them back their sword, and that's very sexy of him. He has morals, and he will follow them no matter what. <3

Least favorite thing about him: His 3D model >:( Especially HIS HAIR

Favorite line: "I see. Give him this message: You have become a cursed being and I will never forgive you. This whip and my kinsmen will destroy you someday. From this day on, the Belmont Clan will hunt the night." Ah, yes. The lines who closed the game... but started the whole franchise <3 The very moment Leon put his curse on his clan. <3 ("you wretched fool" is second place btw)

BrOTP: Matheon (mostly because of the things that happened only in my HEAD and some extremely rare fanarts), before Mathias betrays him, that is.

Favorite thing about him: Part of me wanna say his design (Pretty and tall porcelain gothic boy wearing FUR <3), but really, I think my favorite thing about him is that he's the man Dracula used to be. He's a glimpse of Dracula before he goes apeshit. He's the origin of it all. The Dark Lord before he becomes the Dark Lord. And I love to think about the contrasts beetween the two (even if lots of headcanon have to be involved). Especially when putting his and (any of) Dracula's design back to back <3 They're so different. And yet the same. <3 Or... are they...?

Least favorite thing about him: He doesn't get nearly enough screentime, especially with the big role he has in this game AND the whole franchise, as Dracula's origins story. >:l

Favorite line: "Then come with me. I will give you eternity, too." my man doesn't have much lines and his first ones are pretty cliché, but I like this little detail of him wanting to keep his dear friend by his side <3 (Though I also like how he talks about Elisabetha and shits on God lmao, he's so not okay)

Unpopular opinion: He's not stupid (he just took stupid decisions <3) and he's a good and interesting character/concept. Sure the game doesn't give us much about him, but enough to let us make our own interpretations and headcanons.

If every FGG could choose to turn into any other species other than their own what would they choose?

That's a good question. I had to think about this for a while...I'm excluding beasts here, because I think I already answered a similar question about what animals they would be. I'm assuming you mean other peoples only.

Evan: A heavyweight species, probably an ogre. Bigger and stronger is always better, in his opinion. But I think he would also worry about his werewolf form, Bigbad, who would also become bigger and stronger...

Lukas: Dude has magic-envy and a bit of an affinity towards elves, so probably an elf.

Glenvar: Maybe a dworf, because if people are going to call him one anyway, he may as well have the perks that go with it, like super strength and night-vision. Alternatively, he'd choose centaur for their height, strength, and speed.

Alaine: Human. I mean, she's already a human, but she would choose to shake off her mermaid's curse and be an unafflicted human. Sure the curse offers her some perks, but the downsides are just too many for her.

Jeimos: Jeimos likes being an elf. I don't think they would want to change that. All they want to change is their sex, as they find being female-sexed too burdensome.

Isaac: Isaac hopes he is human, but he doesn't know for sure...

Linde: Sirene or maenad, because she's envious of their natural beauty.

Balthazaar: Gnome, so he could live a simpler life away from society and magic all his problems away. Or so he thinks...

Skel: Elf. Not just an elf, but a female elf. More specifically, an elven princess...basically what I'm saying is, he wants to be Jasenia. He has always envied her, and this envy has grown into a creepy obsession with time. Honestly though, he hates being a goblin so much that I think he'd accept damn near anything else...

Javaan: Javaan has lamented being a centaur a few times throughout the series, explaining that non-centaur women are afraid of him and he has to make an extra effort to be appear non-threatening to make friends. He compensates by having great charisma, but I think putting on this extra charm all the time wears him out. He might want to be a smaller species instead. Not something easily pushed over like a human or elf, but maybe a roshava. Roshava are strong, but they're not as threatening as ogres, cecaelia, or gorgons. It would be the best of both worlds for him...not to mention he's already used to having six limbs!

Elska: I don't think Elska would change her species. She's already used to being a centaur and she hates change.

Mr. Ocean: Definitely a human. For one, it would allow him to explore and understand Terria better. But also, he just thinks they're neat! He developed a fascination with humans from a young age and it never really faded. Actually becoming one would answer a lot of questions he's too afraid to ask.

Zeffer: He's willing to become literally anything if it just takes his vampirism away...

Zacry: Zacry has said that it cannot want for anything, being a machine and all. But I think it does wonder, and it probably wonders what it would feel like to be a person from time to time. Its computer-brain calculates through predictive scenarios, but it can't find a concrete answer until it experiences this for itself. Any species will do.

What if Isaac and Julia weren't related by blood. They were just two lost kids viewed as "cursed" (Isaac because of his hair, eyes and affinity with creatures of the night, and Julia because she was the daughter of a witch and inherited her powers) who found each other and decided "You know what, let's stay together. You and I against the world."

But where Isaac hated humanity and wanted nothing but to go by Dracula's side, Julia just wanted to live in peace. She followed Isaac because "omg big bro figure who accepted me and took me in when i needed it the most...", but she didn't share his beliefs.

Then she left the castle to live not too far to stay as closer as she could to her brother, that she felt she was losing little by little... and Hector arrived and Isaac was all like "yoooooo another cursed child, let's stay together, you and i and Lord Dracula against the world !!" but then... you know how it ended. :)

Anyway i'm just really weak for the idea of Isaac and Julia's bond having nothing to do with "blood". They just both needed a family, and they found one in each other. <3 (also smol Isaac seeing baby Julia and immediately feeling the need to protect ??)

Isaac having big bro instincts towards any "cursed" child is a balm for my soul 🥺 but it never ends well whyyyyyy why can't my boys be happy for once

I also personally headcanon that Isaac gives little value to blood bonds, because they're out of his control/choice, while he highly appreciates bonds he chooses to make. This is where his full worshipping for Dracula comes from: it doesn't matter how much he suffers, Isaac chose Dracula, he's a God of his own and not one imposed, and that's what makes him so special and irreplaceable.

(it's kinda funny how both Julia and Hector abandoned Isaac because he was just too much of a Dracula simp. baby be simpin' ever since before actually meeting the guy. it's his real curse 😔)

I guess that in this scenario it would make more sense for Julia to be so similar to Rosaly? Maybe they're sisters? But Rosaly didn't inherit an ounce of magical powers, so while she was sent to study in a monastery and she became the Perfectly Normal Daughter to dote on, Julia was abandoned/mistreated and then she ran away?
