For Ruggie and Jamil, I have a whole bunch of different headcanons depending on the situations.

First their GloMas interaction gave me life. I found it so perfect, just the two of them finally letting their inner gremlins take over without worrying about their image. It was PERFECT !

I also love that their Signature Spells have the same "manipulation" base, but Ruggie is about the body while Jamil is about the mind. (I usually love adding Jade to the mix with his ability to force the truth out of others. I call the three of them the "Manipulation Gang". I'd love to see the three of them actually gang up some day.)

Jamil and Ruggie also have the same servants-to-spoiled-rich-kids background. I feel like they'd have the most terrible gossip while washing clothes or something. I just can't really imagine them not be friends of sorts. Just pestering about the latest wild nonsense their master has been up to, wondering if they should exchange their burdens (pre chap 6, Jamil would never agree after that) and just generally let the worst of them show to the other coz they don't mind.

In the context of the N2 Squad, Ruggie would definitely be a needed push for Jamil. The kind of "Please just date him, Leona’s mood is only getting worse and I'm tired and if I hear 'im moan about you once more I'm gonna murder you both" or something like that. Ruggie knows the inner workings of Leona, knows the inner workings of Jamil too from their laundry-gossip, and while I can imagine him strive in chaos he would immediately go complain to either Leona or Jamil if their turning around each other made his job harder. After the N2 Squad starts dating though, I can def imagine Ruggie try to profit off being friends with Jamil to get favors from Leona (and maybe Vil too coz why not?)

(Also Ruggie is def Jamil's first fan when it comes to cooking and always tries to have him give him spares from a previous party or whatever.)

not getting anymore results for raiment.nyc sweaters on depop or mercari, the other ones were presumably sold but its also partly because...... theres now a brand called raiment FASHION based in nyc that sells completely different types of clothes! it seems to be generic or "vintage" style womens clothes of all sorts, cant tell if its a dropship deal or some sorta sketchy thing, idrc since it's not the brand that once ran raiment.nyc on instagram (i havent checked the raiment.nyc website again because i assume it still leads to phishing type scams and im not willing to test it out lol)

kori.world (from where i ordered my scam sweater) does still exist, still selling that like modern street fashion baggy sweaters and jeans type stuff, i just checked their instagram and the comments are all complaining abt orders not arriving lol. i think my order ended up taking a month? im not personally too fussy about delivery times so long as its nothing urgent, but then i had the plethora of other problems that came with the sweater regardless.

just for fun, heres a screenshot of weston koury wearing the all over CAT version of this sweater (idk anything about weston but i know a couple friends who like him lol) note that the cat one was sold in black and orange, which is what i got for the bear sweater, even tho the bear one meant to be black and yellow.

this was from 2020, which is when phil would have bought the sweater. i remember someone commenting on one of my posts that this koriworld did exist alongside raiment.nyc, which i guess tracks and honestly makes me think raiment.nyc may have also always been scammy dropshipping? tho from previous research, raiment.nyc sold those sweaters for $130 USD which doesnt necessarily mean that its legit just bc its priced higher, but idk! the comments on early ig posts seem favorable, but less so as the company or whomever had gone dark.

other things: phil's sweater from The Glue Incident video is also from raiment.nyc! this is probably easily findable on phanoutfits lmao but i figured it out from a third party shop review website that seemed to be connected to raiment at one point

yes ive heard about that....... im answering your ask late oops haah but i hope the situations a Bit better..... the toxic parts of this fandom give me a headache but my usual motto is to stay off twitter, touch grass, ignore people, and then hold onto my own viewpoints unless proven wrong alsjdflsdj but like. yeah this fandom is a bit tough to stay in when it comes to certain circles (for example the amount of people low quality shitposting / ranting about the fandom or whatever on rezero ao3 atm in the past days/weeks is. mm. interesting). not my first time being in larger fandoms that make you sometimes feel like youre fighting in the trenches (you could name off a few big fandoms notorious for being toxic that date back to like 2016 and odds are ive been in a couple lajdlf) but yeah seeing people complain about liliana and capella's designs and then overly fixate on emilia's boobs when these three characters have more to bring to the table than just that and theres lots and lots of good things to say about the s3 trailer and their designs..... mm. yeah. im squinting hard at a few of the things ive heard on that. but anyway!!

like the new designs are an Improvement. In General. like ok, as a boob haver myself ("boob haver" is the funniest phrase to me alsdjfls but it is true nonetheless, i am one) i do not give a shit about emilias larger boobs like ok?? her boobs are bigger?? she is still my fav ever and sometimes it just happens when youre still a growing teen/young adult and emilias back to her more revealing main outfit when she wore a different outfit in s2 so the difference in chest size is really not that much. but liliana and capella? those are Improved designs. i think ive talked abt the treatment of underage characters / characters who appear underage on my blog before (and i definitely couldve worded myself better then but i stand behind the fact that some of the stuff otsuka and tappei do regarding this in rezero is just Unnecessary).

could designs like emilia's still be improved on in other ways? yeah 100%, just in the sense that there could probably be changed a bit to fit her slightly more timid and soft spoken personality. or you could take different directions on it in general if you wanted. ive seen some great redesigns of her main outfit!! though her main outfit in of itself is pretty nice to look at imo and its iconic and well-known for a reason. im of the personal opinion that i wish it was a little less revealing in the same vein that her s2 main outfit was (i like that outfit a lot!!) but its still a really solid design overall.

i had some faith after seeing the anime designers fix up typhoon's original design to be More Appropriate, and i love how the essence of liliana and capella's designs were kept the same. like its not just that theyre a little less revealing (and even then, theyre both still showing a lot of skin!!! which is good!!! i like the improvement while keeping the main stuff the same), but stuff like liliana's pants aren't transparent (probably to make it easier to animate?) and the yellow/orange gradient in capella's hair looks great!! they also both look more like grown women which is a bonus. unless youre Weird about this shit which is unfortunately a small percentage of the rezero community. like you cant win with those sort of people ig, bc capella's boobs are bigger too ljasdlfj youd think that win more people over.

also i appreciate capella's sports bra bc unlike elsa's outfit it Actually looks like it's supporting her chest. if youre someone with boobs and you dont have a flat chest, youre gonna need support when being active or itll Hurt. and elsa Does Not have proper chest support okay. ill forever wince remembering elsa's design in that sense HAH....

anyway but i digress. i got no clue what to do with toxic people in fandoms despite spending a lot of time lurking in large fandoms with loud toxic people haah.... its hard to do much about it especially with increasingly declining media literacy rates everywhere.... the notorious misogyny/homophobia/etc that can happen sometimes in anime communities.... that sort of thing. i kinda just avoid it when it comes to rezero in specific, or briefly talk about it on here, or rant about it to myself in my head or chat with pals about it in private if it really frustrates me that much!! and id say im a pretty patient person hah... im not frustrated often. and the fandom is not all weird people of course and i can attest to that as ive chatted with a lot of people here... ive also seen a lot of people leave due to the fandom's Issues which is. totally fair tbh.

and i think rezero is often a "baby's first fandom" so to speak... i dont mean that in a bad way of course but its more like its the first exposure to fandom and fandom etiquette and fic etiquette and that sort of thing when it comes to english circles. or at least its a pattern ive noticed, so my theory is that that occasionally that combines with toxic fans and then you get a few people complaining about the community and how bad our fics are on rezero ao3 ig lajdlfjsdlf. which is false by the way :<< and an annoying misuse of ao3 as a free creative archive :<<

but ultimately i hope the rezero character designer's alright (and honestly theyve done super super great work - like the anime Did Not need to give emilia a bajillion outfits and go above and beyond with improving liliana, capella, giving the suwens and their hometown a whole unique aesthetic, etc). and also while i have stuff to criticize with otsuka and tappei... and the toxic parts of the fandom hah... i still enjoy rezero apart from that and the uproar with the designs has not chipped away at me too much!! ive been in this fandom long enough i guess lmao i just roll with punches at this point T^T but i also just try to look on the bright side a lot in general so ;-;;;

so i got leaked... not by my own account, a friend told me. and im actually on a jjk hiatus since july ish. which means i dont consume any jjk stuff nor do i draw them.

but the leak my friend told me is just something i cant ignore, so for the first time i drew something (the latest shoko related drawings)

even when i got leaked early and drew something early i still try to post it after official release, which.. after months of not thinking abt jjk i misremembered as being minggu malem (the night of sat to sun) but its actually malem minggu, (the night of sun to mon) its a language thing and im generally bad at remembering

Also I am assuming Giblets had a wife before hand? Something something timeline I think Giblets had Krimothy before Mux but maybe not?? And idk where the Krubis incident fits in w/ this either.

Unless they met + dated way way back as a little fling at the start of their careers or in college or something. but then it's not as funny. There'd be the awkward ex situation then but what really intrigues me is the G3 and every Muxxalon employee looking on in horror as these two start holdin hands and being mushy as all hell

I'm assuming the breaking point would be Mux trying to take credit for something Giblets did or Giblets overstepping in his... Gibletness. Somehow. And then she'd feel disrespected by it. Or maybe their horoscopes said they'd break up.

Giblets is a whole can of worms. Because he's smart academically but near socially incapable and prone to spiraling into these. Fucked up self serving actions that ruin lives and shit. He has the mentality of a fucking Fargo character. So I feel it'd probably be his fault the most in the end

ig if there's anything heartwarming about this it would be that since Giblets doesn't mention Mux during that little speech they ended on good enough terms or were able to reconcile down the line to some extent? At the very least he felt sure she would not try to kill him.

I think it was messy for a while though. Custody over Goimpy Schoimpy Peanut Rendezvous 2000 was a bitch. Everyone was relieved when they actually started being cool w/ each other again or at least decided to leave each other alone.

for that scene with the script (when renge becomes their manager initially) in the manga and anime are actually different. in the anime, Kao and Hika are complaining about how Kao is the pitcher as you pointed out, but in the manga, as I mentioned earlier, they complain about how they were drenched in the rain, and then afterwards, Haruhi, Mori, and Hani were teasing the script, (sorry for repeating this… gahhh ;; that while it seems Hikaru is the one that leads, it’s the more mature Kaoru that drives the action, and then they were like “we work that way,” and “so what’s the diff?” just to clear that up :) but like i said, i do get why ppl do make Kao the princess and everything, but still, they’re not all about that metaphor (in the manga, there was none of that metaphor anyways) and it sounds personal, but for me it’s hard not to get peeved bc Kao is like that on occasions, and he’s not all delicate and uwu like how people make him out to be (and for the fanarts, trust me, they do exist) but sometimes i just wish people would make them cross dress together (they always have, together in the manga especially) like as alices, the witch, in their childhood, for the lobelia girls and everything. doesn’t help the fact that Kao’s hair is slightly longer post canon… ;; like, there’s so much hikakao content, but nowhere near as enough as kaohika… again, i’m so srry for prolonging this (this was an excuse to vent lol), just am glad to see someone with a similar way of thinking <3 i hope it wouldn’t be bother if we could talk more abt the twins on occasions? like dynamics, plot ideas n stuff?

I don't personally like changing Character's races, so I don't really do it myself, but when people do it, it's A. Not my business B. It's not a big deal, C. If you dont like it you can just ignore it and also changing characters skin tone isn't that big a deal (I do that because they all have no skintone variation and ACTUAL PRSK STUFF CHANGES THEIR SKINTONES SO ITS ALREADY INCONSISTENT IN CANON)

Also, PRSK characters dont have confirmed races. I guess you could say they're already poc, but I don't see asian people caring too much? I mean, it's just not a big deal to anyone, I guess, especially if a hc is half Japanese half something else

Is it just not a big deal?! I like plenty of art with changed races despite me personally not wanting to do it or anything, so why is it a big deal to people. Just ignore it if you don't like it.

Why do people comment on it? Maybe they think it's wrong, but the characters' races aren't even confirmed, and in the ANIMATION, Tsukasa has darker skin than in game.

Plus, the reason people change some characters to poc is because of lack of representation. People can come back when representation is no longer an issue, but I get the feeling that's not going to be any time soon. Even in Japanese media, the lack of skin tone variation makes no sense since people in Japan can have dark skin. I mean theres no OBLIGATION for representation, but fans can make it themselves.

The skin tone and races of most characters don't play a part in their story or character so people can do what they want.

Plus, the way you draw them all you do is just make the skin darker- its not like you're going "I HATE LIGHT SKIN" or something 😭😭😭

SO REAL like i dont get what prompts people to be SO upset over it they cant just ignore it???? also im not that consistent with skin tones either tbf, i just have a general idea of how light/dark i want someone to be and the rest is dependant on how the skin tone works with other colours on the drawing [i think its especially noticeable with how i draw the shinonomes, an and kasa] but like??:?:!?: idk i dont even have any solid hcs for their races or nationality i literally just go with the vibes when i pick what skin tone to use for a character... and tsukasa wasnt even meant to be dark skinned at first just tan but like. man . idk just something abt the fact that THIS is what people chose to complain about really pisses me off especially because even if i draw someone with a light skin tones theres STILL people saying "why did you draw them SO DARK!?!???" and its how i drew nene theyre complaining abt.... be SO FOR REAL i dont even give her a TAN you are acting DELUSIONAL . that of an insane person quite frankly. a pef chapter is the worst bc it ltierally goes like:

write the chapter while alm is making edits concurrently whenever i ask to make sure it obth a) makes sense w/whats been written adn b) Sounds Good also > finish writing it and start on my own personal edits > get alm to do their own last edits > fix up things > send to stella (hi) who does edits > do more edits > send to abble for proofreading > FIX THINGS....... and between each of htese three ppl im using doing my own edits as well. i have a disease

for the writing part specifically tho its usually like. write whatevers sexiest while jumping around and then fill in the rest w/as little as i can (this is not a joke) (if its not interesting to me why would it be interesting to the reader)

He’d stared at it a long time, his throat weird and tight. He could hear it in her voice, the lilting cadence of it, and he’d been wanting to talk to her for what felt like an eternity, but since Vertumnalia she’d been running all over the colony without a single break, looking more and more haggard every time he saw her. A part of him had wanted to text her back. It would’ve been so easy, a quick little sure and then he could’ve gone back to his bunk, crawled into bed and lain there for days until the suns began to rise again, until he could walk once more by her side and listened, aching, to her laugh.

He hadn’t. Instead he’d set the bomb just like he’d promised, kneeling alone in the hiding hole the two of them had once passed their days together in. The place they’d once sat with their knees knocking, complaining about the colony and talking excitedly about aliens, the place that had once been their only escape from everyone else. The place he was going to turn to ash. The place he’d never see again.

vent post. fandom neg, not abt any specific situation, feel free to ignore and scroll past

i get so tired of the overprotection the fandom has regarding characters and actions sometimes it feels too annoying to bear seeing stuff anywhere anymore. i understand when its done with the purpose to avoid miscaracterization from people who dont watch them and try to paint anything they do as the completly opposite or even false stuff at all also ofc its natural to have a bias towards your favorite, you like them and want people to understad them. but its tiring as fuck seeing posts like "how dare x character say something about y like that" when y character did something that bothered x and its normal they react like that, or "the situation between a b c and d is so sad bc no one takes into account a's feelings about this and how much they went thru" when 'a' never communicated properly what they go thru neither b c or d interacts in their pov the moment things happened, being impossible to know what happened without metagaming, or "h never gave any reason to distrust j about this" when they dont need to, even if its a tragic situation, characters will simply choose if they want to trust someone or not.

and the "trust" part is also something that makes me very pissed bc ppl act like any minor misstep someone makes is a "break of [characters] trust" and that they should isolate bc theyre oh so sad and no one cares about them and life is tragedy for them. when the people on the server are literally friends in real life and not always theyre gonna be full time roleplaying so ofc theyre gonna want to spend time with people regardless if their characters have beef with each other. i get you want to engage with the themes that are presented with a character and the story in general and discuss the analysis behing it but not everything is to be taken 100% seriously in need of deep discussions or long threads, sometimes things can change in the blink of an eye if the cc wants to, bc thats their character and their playstyle and they can do whatever they want with it. and i say this as a person with favorite characters, favorite themes i like to engage and discuss abt them, and that wants others to understand their actions and how their trajectory in the story is non-linear. but im also aware i dont need to excuse everything they do to make them seem like they're never wrong in any situation and theyre in fact the one who suffered most and people who are reacting negatively or having their own opinions abt them are, in fact, wrong and never understood the character as a person. not everything is abt your main pov and you have to be aware of this (tho its fine to joke like "they did nothing wrong!!!!" i myself do that, just be self aware). even if i dont like the way a character reacted to something my favorite has done/said (because its normal to be upset abt these things) or i think its unfair, its literally not on me to say what that character does or has to do and only them can choose what to do abt it, because after all this is a medium of semi improv roleplay, its not a fictional world with fleshed out characters with a start and an end. the ccs will say or do things they dont actually mean to say or do in character sometimes, and without counting the language barrier factor. anyway, ppl are free to complain abt stuff thats their blog and their own opinions and they can keep doing whatever. however ill be blocking posts and blogs that annoy me to no end regarding this situation in specific and then enjoying what my mutuals are posting or talking abt. i just wanted to put this vent out here bc thats something ive been bothered with for a long time and i cant vent this properly nowhere else lol.

some very important notes on karma we've learned now:

-his like for reading is a bit more canonized, it was generally inferred i think idr if it was ever in his profile or not but apparently him and alma have a bunch of books at home (he mentioned alma specifically was the one who kept bringing home books i think??) and im guessing because he had a lot of spare time he picked up reading

-while almas not good at sewing, karma seems to be fine with it (almas real as hell for that btw i also make one of my little brain nuggets sew for me mainly just bc i need the help LOL)

-as i mentioned previous, he does seem to be a VERY sore loser, whether or not hes actually competitive or not is up in the air because we havent seen him in a competition or anything but he sure as hell did not like losing

-i REALLY gotta reread it to be a bit more thorough abt it bc this is one of those things that need nuance i feel but hes the type to carry promises out to the end/seriously hear peoples wishes out, he makes a comment abt it when emmas shocked over karma still agreeing to explore the park with her

-i dont think this is really new but hes a very straight forward guy and tells emma "if you want it, just buy it" while buying her a crepe she was rambling about and complaining she considers other people way too much when she talked about getting a gift for mymelo (he also says this when her and mymelo are exploring an area telling her to watch herself first before worrying about others). he also kept buying stuff for her even when she was trying to get him to stop/offering to pay instead
