The marriage pact - London bits
Henry Cavill x OC Alice - multi-chapter
< Part 14 | Part 15 London bits | Part 16 >
Tumblr media
Disclaimer: some strong language
Author’s note: It was so much fun to do some actual research on Jersey’s history - even though it is only mentioned very briefly in this chapter.
Word count: 1.265
(Link to my Masterlist)
Dear readers,
One can find and do many things on our Jersey island, its rich soil housing some 107.000 inhabitants. But as it appears, the world has more to offer than multi-horned sheep, lovely beaches and close knitted communities. Today I’m once more writing from the metropolitan city of London, my journey taking me to meet some ex-inhabitants of our beloved Jersey.
In this “Old Faces goes London”, I’ll be visiting a baker who decided to bring his infamous Jersey-rolls to the great City of London, a linguist who strives to keep Jèrriais (our territories unique Norman dialect) alive and I’ll be having a cup of tea with an exporter of Jersey’s very own apple cider. Yum!
And, as time is ticking I will now bid you all adieu. Or, to keep it in the Jèrriais realms;
À bétôt!
Ali
‘Morning.’ Henry pressed a kiss on my cheek while he brushed past me, his hands busy with making toast while I prepped some lunch boxes. It was 6 AM on a Tuesday and, though I was far from awake, I did admit that I felt quite happy being here, in Henry’s Mews kitchen.
In the far corner I could hear Kal hogging down some food after an even more ungodly early doggy walk - from which I thankfully had been spared - and before long the kitchen was filled with lovely scents and we were all enjoying our breakfast.
‘Sleep well?’ I said, keeping my voice down as the walls were rather thin. Henry nodded, cup of coffee hovering beneath his nose, cheeks dimpling with a tender smile. ‘Sure did. Though looks like you are STILL sleeping.’ He laughed. ‘Mmm... I’m very much enjoying this dream, thank you very much. So please, allow me.’
‘Then so I will. So what are you up to today?’ He took a hesitant sip of the far too hot drink, scrunching his nose as he nearly burned his tongue, then decided to put it down, his hands instead moving to cut into the toast, his egg all gooey perfection as it oozed out onto the plate. I could see Kal push his head on Henry’s lap, hoping that his puppy eyes were enough of a persuader to earn himself some bacon. But apparently it was just another part of their morning routine, Henry’s hand near automatically running through the Akita’s fur before returning to his breakfast, no bacon bits shared in the process.
Sweet bears.
‘Going to have an interview with that baker in a little over an hour, then visiting that publisher followed by some work calls. You?’
‘No baker interviews unfortunately,’ He smiled. ‘Just meetings. Meetings, meetings, meetings.’ Henry shrugged, obviously not looking forward to it. ‘Oh..What do you want to do for dinner by the way?’ He inquired.
‘Eh…eat food?’ I grinned, earning an exasperated look from him. ‘Hahah..sorry..but eh..let’s just cook something at home. Shall I cook or..?’
‘Cooking as home is good, sure. And, Ali, honestly..I’m not THAT traditional. Maybe let’s just say that the first person who gets home, cooks? That seems to be more fair.’ He said simply, hogging down onto another huge bite.
‘Very well then, my fair feminist knight.’ I winked, also cutting into my toast, my nose sniffing happily as the savoury scents drifted into my nostrils. Gosh, how nice it was to be with a man that could cook!
Still somewhat catching my breath from hurrying from meeting to meeting, I sat before one man called Charles Dunham, his golden nameplate shining proudly on his paper-filled mahogany desk. From the moment I had gotten into his office, it became clear that the old, fat cheeked man was most eager to get me on board; a good cup of coffee and some cookies were moved onto the last remaining bit of his space on his overcrowded desk and before I could even take my first sip of the welcome drink, the offer was already on the table.
‘Simply said; we adore your stories. And from a business point of view we see great potential. You have a solid fan base, and we recently released a similar storybook for adults that sold like hot buns on the Sunday market,’ He grinned happily, throwing three cubes of sugar in his coffee and mixing it with a freakishly small spoon. ‘So we are more than glad to develop this project with you.’
I blinked over the rim of the cup of coffee, hot steam raising up from the porcelain. HOLY DAMN! I let out a soft giggle and smiled. ‘My…alright then. I had expected to have to give you my sales pitch and perhaps a kidney or two. I mean, I even made a whole presentation, but this is far better. Thank you so much for your trust and enthusiasm Mr. Dunham, it truly means the world!’
Mr. Dunham chuckled. ‘And the world better be ready. How about we start editing a first version in the next few months, fine-tune a few things? Oh, and I did have one small question; are these based on actual people?’
‘Some are inspired by a mix of people I know, though all characters are definitely fictional in nature.’
‘Well, perhaps you COULD add a slight reference to Superman, since he’s from the Islands as well. Our readers would surely love that.’
I felt my stomach somersault again. Oh Mr. Dunham..if only you knew.
‘Haha..well. We might have to look into copyrights there, but it sure is true that we, I, adore our homeland hero.’ I winked.
Oh the homeland hero. I did adore him, indeed. In fact I craved him really.
The moment I had gotten back to Jersey I felt like I had left a piece of myself back with Henry. Suddenly the air was bleak and my parents house was not my home anymore, the large but comfortable house feeling like but a shell of what it had been just days earlier. And it got even weirder when I was laying in bed.
Here I was, alone, my hand outstretched to the spot where he would lay if we would sleep together. I even tried to sniff the pillow he had slept on, to see if any of his scent perhaps lingered there.
It didn’t.
It had been a strangely eventful day today. First the very early flight, a sleepy Henry - quite unique to find in the mornings - driving me to the airport. And then the near desperate hugs and kisses we shared, followed by a restless flight. And then I had to quickly drop off my stuff before heading to another doctors appointment. This time for one of a more invasive nature; a number of physical tests had to be performed so I could enlist for a sperm donor. My plan B. Just in case everything failed with Henry.
But, in all honesty, it felt more and more like a doom scenario I was increasingly less comfortable with. Did I want to become a single parent, if all of this failed? Was that really my dream? Or was a child just a result of something greater I truly wanted, something I had pushed away and hidden from my still beating heart. Did I actually want something quite different?
Did I want..eh..love, actually?
As I lay there looking at the ceiling, small glow-in-the-dark stars speckling the otherwise dark surface, I came to the bitter tasting realisation that I had not really taken into account that there was suddenly this extra person who had come into the equation. This person I had wild make-out sessions with on my parents couch, as well finding in him the person who offers a listening ear and who would consolidate me and be there during a doctors appointment.
He cared and was obviously not really wanting to leave. And I, to be even more honest with myself, well, I didn’t want him to leave either. I needed to keep him close and listen to him if I wanted this to last.
Rolling on my side I picked up my phone. 11.30 PM. He’d probably be sleeping now. I bit my lip and decided to text him, even if he’d only read it in the morning.
“I just tried to sniff the pillow but your scent is gone. I miss you😢”
Quite immediately a message returned. A selfie, taken with a flash in the starkness of a dark bedroom. Henry’s face sulkily grabbing onto a pillow. “That makes two. I miss you three!”
I giggled, silly bear, then imitated his picture, taking one myself, his pillow squeezed tightly in my arm, head resting on top. “Sweet dreams bear. I’ll keep your pillow safe.”
And then a little voice chat message came in, his silky deep voice filling my heart with joy; ‘Sweet dreams Ali.’
Oh sweet were my dreams indeed.
If only..if only he were here to share them with me.

TGF Thoughts: 4x05-- The Gang Goes to War
under the cut
This episode starts with Caleb and I don’t totally hate it. This means the writers are doing a good job with him so far. I’m surprised I feel that way considering I loathe the plot he’s here for.
This is the first case heavy episode in ages and I have more thoughts on the fact that somehow the space from 6x19 has become military court than I do on the case. As always, that’s not to say it’s bad (tbh, this case was the exact right blend of simple and captivating it reminded me of old school TGW). It’s just to say I have literally nothing to add.
Lucca’s off to visit Bianca. She is still extremely uncomfortable with very wealthy people.
Oh, a mention of babysitting! Kind of sad I’m surprised.
I forgot to mention that this ep is on the shorter side, almost network length. Woo!
Lucca describes her life as “I have a toddler. I’m trying to make partner.” Remember how last season either Lucca or Rosalyn (or MAIA hhahahahhahahaahahhahaahahahhahahahaahahhaahhaah) were going to be made partner and that plot just vanished?
Lucca says that of work, family, fitness, friends, and sleep, the three she’s chosen are work, family, and sleep. I believe it. Though we’ve seen Lucca exercise probably more than most TGF characters? But that was before she had a baby.
If you leave your phone on while you’re on a plane and someone places a voice call would your phone actually ring?
Marissa TOTALLY has a crush on Caleb.
Oh, a Francesca mention AND a mention of Lucca and Marissa being friends?! The continuity fairy likes me today!!!!!!!!
Caleb threatens to quit (I think he knows he wouldn’t be taken up on that offer) unless Mr. Firth lets him take a month for this case. Come on, Caleb. This is TV lawyering. This case will take two costume changes and you know it! Months are a thing for real lawyers.
Diane and Adrian aren’t in their offices, so when Firth finds a partner to assist on the military case (I do not understand why this is a thing he is doing in the first place, but alright), it’s Liz. How conveniently awkward!
(Adrian just isn’t in this episode-- he is apparently at a conference in New York-- and Diane is barely in it, and I’m fine with that. LET LIZ AND LUCCA SHINE!)
(Liz and Lucca are my faves, if that wasn’t obvious.)
Awkward awkward awkward, fucking your boss is very awkward. I hate everything about this plot in theory and yet somehow like Liz, Caleb, and maybe even the idea of Liz and Caleb, but every time I think about the boss/employee dynamic my only thought is: NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Liz’s divorce! Continuity fairy has blessed me again!
I do really like Caleb.
I somehow almost turned that last thought into a rant about Maia and I’m not gonna do that to y’all in this Maia-free season.
Rich people are getting away with more shit in Julius’s court. He’s resigned to it, until he meets his alter-ego from the play again. I get that they want to use this device to show why he’d change his mind so suddenly but omfg please don’t remind me of the last episode.
My first thought was “maybe that long ass episode was even longer and this is a cut scene” but Julius seems to be wearing a different tie in this scene than he was before. Oof.
JUDGE KUHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Judge Kuhn. I think I said this last week but it isn’t often we get truly good, considered characters who want the best and actually take fair steps to see it happen. Judge Kuhn is great.
And so is the actress playing her. Her expression as the seat shrinks-- which is some Kingsian bullshit-- makes the joke work.
This episode relies a lot on that device Jane the Virgin loved where back to back scenes will be linked by a theme or a word. In this case, Julius and Liz/Caleb are both dealing with continuances. Yay for structure, even a simple case related structure!
“A sofa would have blown up here”... I can’t, y’all. “A conference table would have blown up here”. Is this a joke about coronavirus or a real need for more graphics or both? I lean towards it being a joke, but before I say that lemme play these credits side by side with last week’s…
Okay so there are differences. Last week there was an aerial view of a wine bottle exploding while this week there’s a second one in the background. They replaced an exploding coffee set with the sofa text. There are some other differences too. But not enough to convince me they didn’t have footage they could have used. So I think it’s a joke.
Welcome back, season two Diane. I missed you, ya weirdo!
(But like actually Diane is staring out the window at a bird, not doing anything or responding to questions. Why so weird?!)
Now that Diane isn’t hunting down answers on 618, she has “nothing to do.” Oh, suddenly no one in the world is in need of pro-bono assistance? Sure!
Continuity on the SWATting, too!
AND A WILL REFERENCE.This episode may be nothing special but it sure is endearing.
Diane explains that Judge Kuhn is tough but fair and Will ended up liking her. That’s a pretty good summary.
Diane spots the woman who she dreamed was Weinstein’s lawyer in a meeting, drawing dots. Guess that’s one of the drawbacks of having windows everywhere. She chases her up the stairs to STRL and asks if they know each other because, and I quote, “I had a dream and you were in it. You were Weinstein’s lawyer.” HOW FUCKING WEIRD ARE YOU TRYING TO BE, DIANE? Are you microdosing again?! (This feels so season two.)
Props to this lady (do we know her name? Has it been said on the show) for taking that weird-ass comment in stride and joking she probably didn’t do very well. She needs a favor-- she has a case in front of Judge Cain and wants Diane to sit with her.
Diane asks about the dots. Apparently this lady draws-- and counts!-- dots. Hundreds of thousands of them. During meetings. Because it’s calming and nothing matters. See?! Season two!
Lucca does get a little bit of work to do on vacation-- Bianca wants to buy the resort.
Case stuff happens.
Someone explain to me what the fuck this bright neon lighting in the office late at night is all about. Why is it so bright?! Why do the colors change!? Am I just supposed to accept this?! I suppose it’s no weirder than a woman who draws dots instead of taking notes-- and admits to it-- but WHAT IS HAPPENING?!
I know there is supposed to be some sort of parallel between the case having an element about disobeying your superior and the Liz/Caleb dynamic, but as you will recall, I hate everything about the boss/employee plot AND find it incredibly boring so if you would like to see analysis of that parallel… I’m not your gal.
Oh look I can see the office bathroom of Willicia sexytimes in Liz’s office
My god this lighting is distracting.
It sounds to me like Caleb is in the legal field for idealistic reasons. I can’t get a sense of if wanting the country to stay the same is liberal or conservative or admirable or misguided but it’s definitely something. (I have a feeling he means “stay the same” as in “return to 2016” though.)
Since she has not been in the military, Liz worries out loud that she hasn’t lived much of a life. This leads to flirting and intimacy and another hookup. Bleh.
Creeper from Kurt’s office comes to visit Julius and compliments him while basically telling him to keep quiet and be corrupt. He promises Julius the chance to move up the ladder and implies Julius should rule in favor of some rich donor.
Julius, who, like all characters on this show and maybe just people in general, does NOT like being told what to do, promptly does the opposite. And he feels really, really, really good about doing the right thing.
Case stuff happens.
Lucca now gets invited to play poker with a bunch of millionaires and celebrities. Lucca is highly uncomfortable. The names of the celebs are bleeped which is… not as clever as I think it was meant to be.
Also I’d be uncomfortable in this situation too. I’m just ready for this plotline to go somewhere beyond “Lucca is uncomfortable with rich people”.
Recapping goes fast when most of the show is case stuff.
In another throwback, Diane (lit by the weird lighting) is watching what looks like a parody of SNL allowing 45 to host? Or maybe it’s just some unfunny bit that goes on too long? Odd target for a parody at this point in time.
Whatever the point, it prompts Diane to start drawing dots of her own.
Lucca’s luck at the poker game is fantastic. Bianca encourages Lucca to keep her winnings-- she wouldn’t give back a stuffed animal or goldfish won with someone else’s money at a carnival, would she?
Case stuff, now involving 45, happens. This is a missing season two episode, I swear.
Wow lol those establishing shots and stock footage do NOT convince me that Lucca lives in Chicago. Nor do they convince me that anyone involved with the show has visited Chicago.
Case stuff happens!
Another Lucca and Marissa scene! Lucca asks what to do about her poker winnings. Marissa says Lucca should keep the money because Bianca doesn’t need it-- get Bianca a gift if she feels guilty.
Diane sits next to the seemingly nameless lawyer and they compare their dots. Unfortunately for Diane, the case she’s decided to sit in on as a favor? It’s another case in front of Julius, and it also gets 618’d. How convenient for the plot! When Julius doesn’t go for it, Diane is intrigued and reenergized. She boldly goes to Julius’s chambers to suggest trading info about 618.
No matter how many times I write “618” in the context of Memo 618 I still think 618 = Loser Edit.
Case stuff happens! It’s good for Caleb and Liz!
MALCOLM GETS MENTIONED BY NAME! CONTINUITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Caleb and Liz continue the tradition of using meals as code for sex and now I have to watch them kiss. Pass.
Lucca gets Bianca a gift of a goldfish and a giant stuffed bear (a reference to their earlier convo about carnivals). Cute, but I still don’t quite get where this plot is going.
There’s a “Skye and Moon” logo on the plane. I wonder if that is the name of Bianca’s cosmetics empire.
Oh, it’s over. This episode was perfectly fine. Nothing challenging, nothing innovative, but a solid and enjoyable outing closer in length to the average TGW ep than the average TGF one. After last week’s long-ass episode, this is really all I wanted/needed.

SolidS Unit Song Series COLOR -BLACK-
Soliradi Special Mini mini Edition (ver. BLACK)
Tumblr media
Drama || Translation index
Tsubasa: Hello, everyone, good day! SolidS fans from all over the country, it’s the time you’ve been waiting for!
Dai: We are delivering to all of you this live broadcast-style radio…
Rikka: … SolidS radio, also known as Soliradi…
Tsubasa: Special mini mini edition… it’s~ sta~rting~!!
Hello to all the listeners! Yahoo~ how are you in this fine day? I’m the main personality, Okui Tsubasa from SolidS!
Dai: Hello. I’m Murase Dai. Hope we have a good time.
Shiki: I’m SolidS’ producer and leader Takamura Shiki. Good to see you.
Rikka: I’m Sera Rikka. And the four of us together make SolidS!
Shiki: Yeah.
Tsubasa: Ugh! Okay, so let’s start with the introduction of the program. Let’s see… today I leave it to you, Shiki!
Shiki: Understood. In Soliradi, the members of SolidS become radio personalities and deliver this in public recordings and live broadcasts. It’s a heart-throbbing radio. Please make your hearts throb as much as you want.
Tsubasa: What the hell is that?!
Rikka: If we add a bit, the messages and questions are actually received from listeners beforehand, and our leader Shiki chose them. Thank you for all the messages. If your message didn’t get chosen, I’m sorry! I’d be very happy if you send one again.
Dai: While replying, we want to get you more interested about us. That’s the objective of Soliradi, right?
Shiki: Exactly. Well, just take it easy while listening.
Tsubasa: In the end you didn’t explain a single thing.
Shiki: I’m saving energy for later.
Tsubasa: You don’t need to do that!! You absolutely don’t need to do that. Ahh, we’re going off rails. Okay, let’s just try doing it then! The first one is… this! Ehh, here… We got this from handle name: Seiran-san. Thank you very much! “Hello! Sorry for the sudden question, but do SolidS members have a driving license? Do you all go out together sometimes?”
I see I see… Seiran-san, thank you! I do have a license. I got it immediately at the end of my third year of high school.
Shiki: Ah, you’re that type of guy, the one that drives his father’s luxury car around.
Tsubasa: Uhhh, this looks like you’ll have prejudices against me now but… isn’t a guy in third year of high school having his own car even weirder?
Rikka: *whispers* But he won’t deny the “luxury car” part…
Dai: *whispers* Actually, I saw him driving an expensive-looking car… Tsubasa’s a rich kid, after all.
Tsubasa: You there~? Why are you talking about so sneakily? Please answer to the question~
Rikka: Ah, yes! I have a license for automatic only, but in paper state.
Shiki: I have a license for manual cars. And other than that, I used to drive around the fields with my parent’s tractor. Heh, I WILL... BECOME THE LAND!!!!
Dai: Wasn’t that just helping with field work…? Ah, I don’t have a license. I want it, though.
Shiki: Do your best. When you get a temporary license, I’ll help you practice.
Dai: I’m kind of scared… You have the aura of a demon instructor.
Shiki: Hm? That’s not it. Probably. “There! A deer is jumping out! Avoid it!” Or things like that. I only give advice.
Tsubasa: I don’t think there are many deer that jump out on the road?!
Shiki: Moron. Don’t underestimate Mother Nature. If you’ve stepped at least once into Nagano, you’ll perfectly find deer or even bears.
Tsubasa: For real…? Man, Nagano is always amazing…
Shiki: Hm. Spiritual Nagano. I’m a brave warrior from there.
Tsubasa: Ah… U-um. Yeah. Dai-chan, Dai-chan? Let’s leave the spiritual guy aside, leave it to me! Tsubasa onii-san will teach this little driving beginner veeeery nicely and attentively!
Dai: No thanks. If you keep teasing me and interrupting me I won’t be able to focus on driving.
Tsubasa: Ehh, I’ll only give you a hand!
Rikka: Mine’s only on paper, so I can’t guide anyone… so if it’s come to this… Ah! How about Haiduki-san?
Dai: Ah!
Shiki: That’s true. He’s good at driving. He kind of… looks like a shady instructor.
Tsubasa: Hey, Shiki! Just because you got called a demon instructor doesn’t mean you have to drag Fumi-chan down!
Shiki: Among the managers, I recommend Procella’s Kurotsuki more than Haiduki. As an ex-SP, he’s received special training, so he can do from drift runs to one-wheel runs, and to make the enemy’s car spin with a ramming attack. He can do anything.
Rikka: Let’s have Haiduki-san teach you, okay, Dai?
Dai: I’ll do that. Ah, by the way, about going out together, we do that with Haiduki-san’s car.
Tsubasa: Right. If I remember correctly, in Tsukipro, the talents can’t grab the handle without getting permission, right?
Rikka: Yep, it’s an image business after all. If someone caused an accident it would be terrible, and getting hurt is scary, too.
Dai: Safe driving is the best.
Shiki: Next, from Tachibana. “Until a while ago, mood maker-type people with bright hair and personality were my type, but lately I’m attracted to calm people with dark hair. Did I become an adult?” From Tsubasa to me, huh. It’s the proof you became an adult. It’s the proof your ability to judge people has developed.
Tsubasa: Hey!!!!
Shiki: I’m the type who is quite funny.
Rikka: The fact you’re saying that yourself is quite funny, yes. Eh, next. From Ichijiku-san. “To Rikka-san. Do you prefer having your hair tied up? Or down?” Hmm, let’s see. I usually change my hairstyle according to my clothing, so I like both. I like this length, where I can arrange it to match my clothes.
Dai: You do change your hairstyle every time we have a new outfit. I actually look forward to it, “what kind of hairstyle will he appear with today?”
Tsubasa: Ah, I get it! Me too.
Shiki: Me too.
Rikka: *laughs* I’m glad the members also look forward to it.
Dai: Ah, I’m next. Eh, from Momousagi-san. “What’s the most delicious sweets you’ve eaten recently?” Uh… small croissants sold by weight.
Tsubasa: Ahhh, I get the feeling you eat those often. Those have many flavours, right?
Dai: They also have small scones and pies, and you can buy them by gram. That’s why, I change what I buy that day depending on my mood. All of them are delicious.
Tsubasa: Ooh~ buy them for me next time too <3
Dai: I’ll show you the shop so go buy them yourself.
Tsubasa: Ehh? Stingy.
Shiki: Heh. You’re answering so normally, but your fondness for sweet things is now well-known among the listeners.
Dai: Ah!
Rikka: You didn’t need to say that, Shiki.
Shiki: I don’t think you need to be too conscious about that, Dai. It’s not anything to be embarrassed about.
Dai: Eh… Okay.
Tsubasa: *laughs* Okay, let’s go on! Eh, here, from Kiu-san. Thank you~ “To the wonderful male idols from the adult and sexy unit SolidS, good evening! Here’s a question for you all, which side menu do you order to eat with your ramen? By the way, I’m full just with ramen.”
Shiki: As an adult and sexy man, I order one dish of roasted pork filled, and shochu with tonic as a snack.
Tsubasa: As an adult and sexy man… a something-don small bowl of rice.
Rikka: As an adult and sexy man… Gyoza I guess?
Dai: Ugh… you all… what are you doing so excitedly… uh… I guess a small bowl of rice too. When I eat ramen, it makes me want to eat rice too.
Rikka: Okay, so next… From Shida-san. “In lives and live broadcasts, who is most likely to forget the lyrics or go out of tune? Also, please tell me how everyone tries to cover up when they get the lyrics or choreography wrong.”
Tsubasa: Eh! We don’t make mistakes! We’re pros after all.
Rikka: We won’t make mistakes! And won’t forget! Right?
Dai: We won’t forget.
Shiki: You guys. Don’t look away while saying it. Say it looking at my eyes.
Tsubasa: Nghhh but… It’s your fault for making those songs! When there’s rap, that already means a lot of words! Also your word choice, Tokugawa Nikkou Toushouguu! I strangely only remember that!
Shiki: Isn’t it just fine!!! I like it!!! Tokugawa Nikkou Toushouguu. Your mouth feels funny when you say it.
Rikka: Tokugawa Nikkou Toushouguu. Tokugawa Nikkou Toushouguu. Aaaah!
Dai: Tokugawa Nikkou Toushouguu. Tokugawa Nikkou Toushouguu. Hm, I think I get it.
Shiki: For now, before getting angry at me, please practice properly.
Rikka: Of course we will do our best, but there are times when even you make mistakes, right? I remember it, okay?
Shiki: That wasn’t a mistake. It was an improvisation result of the mood.
Tsubasa: Not fair!!!! Composers are not fair!!!!
Dai: I have the feeling Shiki is the one who forgets the choreography the most.
Shiki: When I’m focused on singing, I forget about my arms and legs no matter what. I guess it’s better than knowing it perfectly but ignoring it completely when I get excited, like Tsubasa. Apologize to the illumination and production staffs that move the lights to chase you.
Tsubasa: But you know… lives are living creatures! Of course I’d like to get excited in that moment! Ah I got it, next time I’ll say “Light! Follow me!”
Dai: I don’t think that’s a solution…
Rikka: It is very like Tsubasa, though. Hmm… It’s the perfect moment, so I’ll ask: what if by any chance, you forget completely during the performance, or your mind goes blank, what would be best to do? Of course, I’ll prepare so that it doesn’t happen, but… we’re human, after all. There’s the “what if”, and since I can’t normally ask this, I want to use this opportunity.
Dai: Ah, me too, I want to know.
Shiki: Hm. In times like that, the basic is to cover it up with fan service. Waving your hand, saying “Are you having fuuuun”, and they have fun. And it gets through.
Tsubasa: He stated it!!
Shiki: You can also go get involved with someone close to you. The tactics of putting your shoulder around him and act like you’re super good friends, while desperately trying to pull out the lyrics from your brain.
Tsubasa: You did this last time…! Okay, next time Shiki tries to get close to me, I’ll run away as fast as I can.
Shiki: Wait.
Dai: Question! That’s something you cultivated from your experience in your idol age, after all?
Shiki: Hm? Yeah, exactly. As an idol, you do a lot of lives. You accumulate experience points. For now, the worst thing you can do is to freeze and think “oh, damn”. Fans also suspect that something has happened.
Rikka: I see… To move around and not to freeze… that’s important, right?
Shiki: That’s what it is. Of course, the best thing is not to forget, and not to make mistakes, to begin with. Yeah!
Tsubasa & Rikka & Dai: We’ll work on that.
Tsubasa: And, with this, it’s already time up! I think we got to answer quite a lot this time too?
Dai: Right. I have the feeling we’ve revealed a lot of things. Won’t we get scolded for this?
Shiki: I want to believe it’s fine. *whispers* It’s fine, right?
Tsubasa: Don’t ask the other side of the booth!

TL notes:
god Shiki gets better worse with every soliradi... stop this man
The “Tokugawa Nikkou Toushouguu” is part of chronoah’s lyrics. The actual line in the lyrics is “Talk-Got-What-Nick-Auto-Show-Good“, yes it’s fake english, yes it doesn’t make any sense, it’s just because it sounds like that. Don’t ask me, ask John-san (?)
Next up is a very important drama CD!!! Also the first appearence of QUELL!! Look forward to it~
Thanks for reading!!
