2026
Since that night in your apartment, you and Yoongi have been texting back and forth again, solidifying your established connection. Yet, amid this closeness, you couldn't help but grapple with the confusion of your feelings. You enjoyed your interactions with him, but a nagging fear lingered at the back of your mind—that perhaps Yoongi was just caught up in the situation, still playing the role of Minho to your Minseo. You worried that one day he might realize he could stop pretending and leave you behind.
Months after the episodes aired, you both continued to receive comments from fans asking for a continuation of their story. The photo shoot and interview sessions that you and Yoongi did only fueled the fire even more, your undeniable chemistry was once again evident to the public.
One day, as you hung out in your apartment, another newfound routine you had established with Yoongi, you broached the topic. The two of you were sitting comfortably on your couch, each momentarily preoccupied with something else but still enjoying each other's company, a welcome break from your busy schedules.
Your agent sent a message, reminding you to give your decision about the production company's offer to proceed with the sequel of that drama. You had presumed some time ago that your manager might have some superpower, and she proved it once again with the timing of the text as if she knew you were hanging out with Yoongi on that unsuspecting Thursday night.
You sighed, breaking the comfortable silence that had settled between you. "You know, Yoongi, the production company is nagging me about a possible sequel for Minseo and Minho," you said, your voice tinged with both annoyance and uncertainty.
Yoongi leaned back against the sofa, deep in thought, pausing from his tinkering on the laptop he had brought with him. He had claimed that working in your company boosted his productivity, and you tried hard to suppress the butterflies threatening to burst from your stomach ever since.
"I've heard about it too, and I can understand why they'd want more," he said, his voice measured.
The unspoken "but" hung in the air, a shared hesitation between you both.
You continued, "This might come as a surprise, but I don't think we should do it. To me, Minseo and Minho's story isn't meant to be explored further. There's beauty in letting the audience imagine what's next for those two."
Yoongi nodded thoughtfully. "Sometimes, leaving things to the imagination can be more powerful."
"Besides, our schedules are going to be crazy this year. You're busy preparing for the group's comeback, and I have other projects lined up as well." You shot him a warm smile, your eyes filled with understanding. "And ultimately, I know it's not something you truly want to do."
Yoongi sent you a grateful smile and decided to open up a bit more. "Honestly, I've got so much on my plate with the group's comeback. And, well, I've been working on some solo stuff too.”
Your curiosity got the best of you as you prodded further, "Solo stuff? That sounds exciting. Are you planning something big?"
He nodded, a glint of excitement in his eyes. "Yeah, I thought it was about time to work on new songs and concepts."
"Is Agust D making a comeback too then?" you asked hopefully, your admiration for his solo work no longer a well-kept secret.
Yoongi chuckled softly, surprised by your enthusiastic response. "Why? Have you heard of him?"
"Heard of him? Yoongi!" you exclaimed, your frustration mixed with embarrassment. "I'll have you know that I was at your final show!" you quickly added.
Yoongi's eyebrow raised in surprise. "Really? Are you a fan, then?"
Your cheeks turned a shade of red as you struggled to find the right words. "I, uh... I mean, I've enjoyed your music, okay?" You buried your head in one of your throw pillows, feeling like a teenager admitting her feelings to a crush.
He chuckled, a warm and amused sound that filled the room. "Hey! In all the time we've known each other, I haven't heard you mention this. At all."
Peeking out from behind the pillow, your cheeks still flushed, you admitted, "Well, it's not something I go around telling everyone, you know? Besides, you never asked!"
Yoongi raised an eyebrow, his mischievous eyes locked onto yours. "So tell me, which song do you like best?"
"One song?" You whimpered, feeling a touch overwhelmed. Your brain quickly reviewed your choices, from his first mixtape to his solo album. "You can't ask me to pick just one favourite!"
He grinned, clearly enjoying your dilemma. "Come on, it can't be that hard. Just one."
You pretended to ponder for a moment, although your heart had already made the decision. "Alright, if I really have to choose one, then... " With a heavy heart, you finally revealed your pick, feeling guilty about slighting his other songs by only choosing one.
His grin widened, satisfied with your choice and your dramatic expression. "Good taste," he teased, making you blush even more.

As you sat in your script reading session for your upcoming shoot, news broke from a notorious media outlet. The headline screamed, "Suga Spotted Leaving Restaurant with Mystery Woman." Your heart sank, and a wave of sadness washed over you. You quickly put your phone away, not wanting to deal with the emotional turmoil while having to run through the script with the rest of the cast and crew.
The session ran for a few hours, and unbeknownst to you, your silenced phone had been going off nonstop. Messages and calls were coming in rapid succession. When the session finally finished, your manager met you with an exasperated look as you entered the car heading to your agency office.
Your manager called your name, irritation clear in her voice. “Do you have something to tell me?”
You furrowed your eyebrows as you leaned against the backseat of the car. “What are you talking about?”
“The article,” she said.
Your mind wandered to the headline you saw earlier. She shouldn’t be concerned about that. Was there anything else? Apparently, your continued silence was her breaking point.
“At which point were you planning to tell me about your shenanigans with one Min Yoongi of BTS?” she said in frustration.
Your eyes popped open in shock, your head quickly turning to look at her in surprise.
"Don't look so surprised. This is exactly what would happen if you decide to date anyone without telling me and the agency. Well, it's just magnified since it's him," she said as she handed you her tab, with the browser open to the article you saw the headline of earlier.
As you read through the piece, your anxiety heightened. It detailed how Yoongi had been photographed leaving a low-key restaurant some time ago. You continued scrolling, your heart pounding in your chest.
Then, your shock was palpable as you came across the photo. It was indeed Yoongi, leaving the restaurant, and the woman by his side was unmistakably you. Your friend's burger joint, the one you had insisted he try, was the backdrop for the photograph.
You clearly remembered that night. You and Yoongi were hanging out late in your new apartment when he mentioned craving a burger. You quickly convinced him to try out the burger joint that your friend had recently opened nearby. Seeing your enthusiasm, Yoongi quickly agreed with a teasing smile. It was late, in the middle of the week, unlikely that the restaurant would have many customers, but you still called ahead and asked your friend for a private table in the back of the restaurant, more for Yoongi's privacy than your own.
You and Yoongi had walked there and later back to your apartment, ditching your car, thinking that no one would pay attention to two people in baggy hoodies, sweatpants, face masks, and beanies strolling through your quaint neighbourhood.
Amidst your walk back, Yoongi had playfully proposed a bet, centered around Bagel's reaction to the enticing scent of meat grease that clung to both of you. As his confident owner, you felt affronted by the challenge. After all, who knew your fur baby better than you? So, with a smirk, you swiftly accepted Yoongi's bet.
As you entered the apartment, Bagel's reaction was decidedly different from what you expected. Despite your confidence in your pet-owning abilities, Bagel inexplicably favoured Yoongi's choice of bet. It was sheer dumb luck that won Yoongi the bet, and he couldn't help but grin triumphantly.
As the winner, he reserved the right to choose your next dinner destination. He quickly explained that he enjoyed the culinary adventure you had embarked on together, surprised that you, a former model with a notorious diet plan, had such a deep appreciation for food. You laughed along to his answer, appreciating the thoughtfulness behind his choice.
However, despite the laughter, a nagging feeling tugged at you. There was an air of nervousness in Yoongi's demeanour as he explained, a hint of hesitation in his voice and a subtle stutter that you couldn't quite ignore. It was as though he was hiding something, leaving you with a sense of curiosity and intrigue about what he might be keeping from you.
He has yet to exercise his right. Both of your schedules had been crazy, and you hadn’t hung out in the last two weeks. Just last night, he finally confirmed that he’ll come over to hang out tonight.
A wave of guilt and regret washed over you. You shouldn't have insisted on going to that restaurant.
“Manager-nim.” You whispered. “What do I do…?”
Your manager sighed, “Thankfully, you had the presence of mind to put on a disguise, and it's clear that fans haven’t discovered your new address yet,” referring to the fact that you had just moved to this new neighbourhood the week before that photograph was taken. “You’re not named in the article, but it's evident that the masses are inclined to think it’s you.”
You had no words to say, still clearly in shock.
Unfazed by your silence, your manager continued, “Now, you need to tell me what’s going on with you and him. We’re in touch with Big Hit, and both upper managements are prepared to release a joint statement for the two of you if necessary.”
“But...” You hesitated. “We’re not even dating.”
She frowned, her tone laced with concern. "Are you sure? If you're not dating now, do you think you might be soon?"
You weren't entirely sure. You knew you'd developed feelings for him, and you certainly enjoyed spending time together. But beyond that, Yoongi hadn't indicated his feelings clearly. At least, that's how it felt to you.
“I’ll cancel your meetings for the rest of the day,” your manager decided. “Please take some time to figure this out and let me know by tomorrow morning. We’ll have to release a statement by tomorrow night, at the very least.”
Numbly, you nodded. She had the driver direct the car to your home, and they left you alone with your thoughts.
You made your way to the couch, letting out a deep sigh. In the comfort of your home, the buzz of your phone in your purse finally caught your attention. Retrieving your phone, you found a flurry of messages from your manager, your best friend, and Yoongi himself.
You quickly sent a message to your best friend, asking him to give you some time to sort things out before you could tell him anything. You pondered how to break the news to him – the fact that you'd known Yoongi for a long time and had been hanging out with him after your drama shooting. You knew your best friend would recognize the woman spotted with Yoongi as you; he'd been shipping you two since the day your first drama episode with Yoongi aired.
With that message sent, you turned your attention to Yoongi's messages. His messages were a mix of concern and curiosity. He had sent a flurry of messages in the span of a few hours, along with phone calls too.
Yoongi: Hey, I saw the article. Are you okay? Yoongi: Why aren't you answering your phone? Yoongi: I tried calling, but you didn't pick up. Yoongi: We should talk about this. Yoongi: Oh, you're in the script reading session. Sorry. Yoongi: I hope it's going well! Yoongi: I know you've been wanting to play this type of character. Yoongi: Don't worry, they won't publish more articles. Yoongi: Big Hit is prepared to take legal measures. Yoongi: Just... text me back when you see this. Yoongi: Can I still come over tonight?
You sighed, realizing that he must have been worried sick about you. While you needed some time to sort out your feelings, you understood the urgency of the situation. Figuring out that you'd have a few hours before Yoongi would be free, you quickly replied, confirming that he could come over anytime, as your other meetings had been cancelled for the day.
To your surprise, not even an hour later, there was a knock on your door. You approached it cautiously, peering through the peephole to confirm the visitor's identity. It was indeed Yoongi, but he was heavily disguised, making you double-take to ensure it was not some creepy stalker trying to impersonate him.
Yoongi entered, looking both relieved and apologetic. "Sorry for being a bit late," he said, his voice slightly muffled by his ensemble. "I had to dodge the frenzy of fans and paparazzi waiting at the front of the agency building." He let out a frustrated sigh, clearly not a fan of the situation.
You gave a subtle nod, and without a word, the two of you slipped into an established routine, a comforting habit that had naturally developed whenever Yoongi visited.
First, as always, Yoongi switched his shoes for his pair of slippers. The comfortable black ones he had bought and stored at your apartment.
Then, he'd head to the kitchen to get a glass of water. He’d always use the mug he had brought for himself—a simple white mug adorned with a repeating pattern of his faces, clearly merchandise from somewhere.
Next, he claimed his spot on the couch, the one near a labelled box where his various chargers were neatly stored. On one of his first visits, he had adorably bemoaned your choice of gadgets, complaining that he'd have to bring his own set of chargers to your place. And so, he did that the next time he was over.
Lastly, you'd bring him snacks from your pantry. He had stocked some of his and your favourite snacks there after discovering your lack of inventory. As you were picking your choice for the night, you noticed that you'd need to restock some of his favourites, which he had finished during his last visit.
As you closed the pantry door, you froze in disbelief. When had this become a routine? The realization hit you like a tidal wave, and you couldn't help but feel astonished by how seamlessly he had integrated himself into your life, forming a comfortable routine without you even realizing it.
When you place the snacks on the coffee table, Yoongi already sheds his disguise. Now completely at ease in his simple white t-shirt and ripped jeans. As you both settled on the couch, there was a brief silence in the room. You could feel the weight of the situation hanging in the air.
Finally, Yoongi broke the silence. "I'm really sorry about all this."
You looked at him, noticing the sincerity in his eyes. Despite the new chaos surrounding your lives, you could still see the familiar warmth in his gaze. "I'm the one who should be apologizing, Yoongi. I insisted we go out that night."
He shook his head. "No, it's not your fault," Yoongi replied firmly. "If anyone should apologize, it's me. I was the one recognized in that photo, not you. If you had gone out with someone else that night, none of this would have happened."
You were taken aback by Yoongi's response, his words filled with self-blame. As he let out a deep sigh, his frustration was palpable, and it tugged at your heartstrings.
"It shouldn't be like this,” Yoongi muttered under his breath before saying his next words clearly at you, "I- I hate that I can't even take you out for an impromptu meal without it turning into a potential scandal."
You reached out and placed a reassuring hand on his arm, giving it a gentle squeeze. "It's okay, Yoongi. We just need to be patient and let things settle down. Maybe... maybe we should stop hanging out until then?"
"Do you really want that?" Yoongi asked solemnly.
As Yoongi looked at you with a serious expression, you couldn't help but hesitate for a moment. The thought of not seeing him for an extended period tugged at your heart. But you also knew that it might be the best course of action for both of your careers and peace of mind.
You replied, your voice tinged with reluctance, "I don't want that, Yoongi, but I also don't want to keep causing trouble for you or us. Maybe it's for the best, at least for a little while."
Yoongi let out a huff, his gaze dropping to the snacks on the coffee table. "See... I- fuck. This is exactly why I've been stopping myself. You deserve better... You deserve someone who can express his feelings and take you out on dates freely."
You were stunned by his words, unsure if he really meant what you thought he meant.
"What are you saying, Yoongi?" Your voice quivered with a mix of emotions.
"Do you really not know?" He whispered into the night, his voice filled with longing. "Have I not been obvious enough for you?"
You were speechless, your mind racing as you tried to process his confession.
"Clearly, I haven't been," he muttered under his breath. He turned to you and took your hands in his, prompting you to hitch your breath at the intimate gesture.
In the dimly lit room, with the weight of Yoongi's words hanging heavily in the air, you found yourself caught in a moment of vulnerability. His fingers gently caressed the back of your hand, sending shivers down your spine.
"Yoongi, I..." You began, struggling to find the right words, "I didn't want to assume anything."
He heaved another deep sigh before looking into your eyes with a mixture of longing and sincerity. He whispered your name softly, as if he had been keeping himself from saying this for a long time, "I care about you."
Your heart raced as you searched his eyes for any sign that this wasn't just a spur-of-the-moment confession. But what you found was a depth of emotion that mirrored your own.
"I had a plan," he let a curse slip from his lips again, "I didn't want to rush you or make things more complicated, especially with our careers and everything. But when I saw that article, I knew I needed you to know how I feel."
The sincerity in his voice and the tenderness of his touch made your heart swell with emotion. You were deeply moved by his confession and the fact that he had planned something special before the chaos of the article had intervened.
A soft smile graced your lips as you replied, "Yoongi, I care about you too, maybe even more than I should."
He responded with a genuine smile, one filled with warmth and kindness—the same smile that had captured your attention and perhaps even your heart when you first saw it years ago.
Leaning in closer, his forehead gently resting against yours, he spoke softly, "Then maybe we should give us a chance. We can be discreet, take it slow, and see where it leads."
It was an enticing proposition, one that filled you with excitement. As you gazed into Yoongi's eyes, you couldn't deny the connection that had been silently growing between you.
"I'd like that," you replied, a small smile gracing your lips.
In that intimate moment, the world outside seemed to fade away. It was just the two of you, finally acknowledging the feelings that had been quietly blossoming. The kiss that followed was gentle, a promise of something new and uncertain, yet undeniably exciting.

when milan's teahouse started airing, i remember how cute and fresh she was. she was super adorable and endearing. she was always pretty, but in a way that makes you want to take care of her. so i was shocked when i saw her in dex's fridge interview! even if her personality hasn't changed and she made me laugh my ass out, i was truly stunned by how beautiful she is now? their stylist should give her actress makeup more often, because her visuals are striking. to be honest, i will miss the next door neighbor maknae sister aura that she had but i also want more of this 22 years old milan visuals!
[ + / - ] keke she was seriously a genius on the show! from her face to her wittiness, she was perfect! i agree that her visuals really peaked in that episode [ + / - ] nova is honestly a blessing for the eyes. i think milan going for a more mature image makes sense though; during fd6 she was in the maknae line, but in nova she's in the unnie line. minseo, nabi and skye are all younger than her, i think it was about time that she shown a bit more maturity in her image to reflect that! [ + / - ] did she get buccal fat removal surgery and nose fillers? it only takes a bit of money to get prettier 🙄

Minseo had been pleasantly surprised when she saw the gaming stations set up in the venue. She had expected to be able to participate in party games created from Nintendo themes, but the option to be able to play the games in groups throughout the party was much more fun. She wondered how the company pulled that off, but she expected no less from the event coordinator. Her excitement grew when she saw two open spots in the Animal Crossing section, reaching for Gyuri's hand and practically skipping to the station before someone else took over.
"You're going to have to pull me away in half an hour. I seriously can play for hours..." She warns Gyuri, nudging the actress on the side with a bright smile tugging on her lips. She reaches for the console, immediately snooping through the last person's bag to find a decent amount of materials and recipes untouched. "Should we check if we have any visitors on the island?" She suggests, running in circles around Gyuri's villager. "Or get better cloth–Matching clothes! I might need to sell some flowers for money."

FUTURE DREAMS 6: CHALLENGERS TEAM INTERVIEW POST TYPE: SOLO
"are you okay?” the director asks milan and the trainee is quick to reply an enthusiastic “yes!”
the question isn’t out place however; anybody who knows milan a bit can notice how tense she seems. she doesn’t have a bad posture per say, but at this very moment, it seems like rods has replaced her spine and shoulders. this is, after all, her first ever interview for future dreams. just a couple of days prior, she had taken part in a press conference where she had been asked questions, however, she did have time to prepare for this occasion and wasn’t alone either. this is completely different from the press conference.
“let’s begin then” the director announces. milan takes a deep breath and nods. the camera is already rolling, it’s just a question of counting down and clapping the slate.
“you seemed quite enchanted to see the challengers team, aren’t you worried about their addition to the competition?”
milan has let out a soft giggle at the reminder of her reaction when the curtain opened and revealed the other girls. not only had she been delighted to see some familiar faces among the girls, like minseo, but their performance had been draw dropping. of course she gaped and looked at them in awe. “they looked so cool, i was mesmerized! i couldn’t help thinking ‘indeed, this is tv!’” she explains, getting animated and little more relaxed. “the lyrics and their performances really represent well their team name!” this challenge might be against them, milan doesn’t feel any sense of threat or worry over it. she doesn’t believe that her chances of debuting are high, so more girls simply reaffirm this belief or hers rather than feel like a threat to her possible chances of reaching the finale. however, she’s not about to say this out loud. “coming here, i know things wouldn’t be easy, so having more girls inside the competition feels like part of the challenge. also, i did feel like 7 people for a competition was a small number. maybe part of me expected something like that!” she explains.
“after hearing about the two upcoming challenges, how do you feel?”
“curious...?” she replies, a bit unsure. “i mean; i’m curious about the acting challenge. it’s likely going to be difficult to have to improv on the spot, but i think it’s going to be fun.” milan might not be an actress, she has been diligently practicing during her time in legacy and especially in the last few months. and if acting fails, she can always rely on her wits and go full comedy mode. “as for the debut song challenge, ‘eleven’ is such a great song and i’ve sunbaenim are amazing performers, i hope we can do it justice. not only that, we’ve seen today how strong the other team is... i think we’re going to have to work very hard to impress against them, even with a song like ‘eleven”.
“so you have more apprehensions about the debut song challenge. speaking of which, two of your peers are in charge of doing the lyrics distribution, is there any position in particular that you want?”
it would be a lie to say that there aren’t parts of the song that appeal to milan, yet she’s reluctant to voice her desire out loud. she shifts uncomfortably in her chair, breaking eye contact with the interviewer for a second, as she measures her words. “i don’t expect to have a lot of lines or any adlibs.” she begins frankly, knowing very well that she isn’t there yet in her training. “i really like leeseo’s sunbaenim parts, but i’m not as good as a singer or dancer as her, so it would be wrong of me to aim for that. in the end, even if i have only end up with a few lines,” and admittedly, that would ease a certain amount of pressure off her shoulders, “i just want a part that i can pull of well.” she finishes. this isn’t a lie; she wants something that she can pull off, to help elevate the performance with her contribution rather than the opposite.
with this, the interview comes to and end, and after bowing to the staff, milan quickly exists the room to join the rest of the contestants.

2025
It was nearing the end of the year when you opened the new script book — the surprise felt like a bolt from the blue when you read what was written on the first page.
Your latest drama role proved to be the breakthrough you had strived for, earning you the title of scene-stealer. You had received constant praise as the drama progressed, but an episode in the middle of the session marked a turning point. In that episode, your character delivered an emotional monologue, a truly defining moment. You had poured your heart and soul into that specific scene, and it had paid off. As it turned out, your standout performance had not only won over the viewers but also the show's creators.
In the final episode of the drama, your character would move on from the leading male character and meet a new love interest. Initially, it had been an implied development, with the leading male character mentioning it in passing, providing your character with closure at the end of the series. However, due to your recent fame, the production company wanted to capitalize on the buzz surrounding your character, leading to the creation of a new subplot for you in the drama's narrative.
Your new storyline was substantial, requiring an additional few days of shooting long after the original ending scene had been filmed. The crew had to rush to edit the new plot into the last two episodes too, making each episode a few minutes longer than the original. To add more buzz to the already high-profile drama, this scene had an added element of surprise for its viewers — a cameo.
You had heard from your agency that your new on-screen partner was not an actor by profession. However, when you received the news of this new addition, the production company was still finalizing the negotiations. So, when you first saw the script over the weekend when that prominent episode aired, you noticed that the name of your on-screen partner was conspicuously absent.
Then, just a few days before the shoot, your heart skipped a beat as you scanned the latest version of the script, complete with the assembled cast and crew. There it was, his name right after yours on the page. You were listed as Park Minseo, and he was there… he was there as Kim Minho, a new character that had been specially crafted for yours.
Min Yoongi as Kim Minho.
It was a twist of fate you hadn't seen coming.
Yoongi had been with you the moment you received the news of being cast in this drama, during his time of service at the shelter. Caught in the surreal moment of landing your first significant role, you had hugged him tightly after he congratulated you. As the initial shock wore off, you both awkwardly shuffled on your feet. Yoongi cleared his throat to break the silence and offered to buy you dinner at your go-to restaurant to celebrate. It was a place you both frequented when your tasks at the shelter left you both famished.
However, several months had passed since your last meeting with Yoongi at his farewell from the shelter. After his official discharge, he had been actively preparing for the group's comeback, and you had been focused on your career as well. You occasionally exchanged texts with him, discussing various topics or sharing random pictures throughout the week. In fact, your most recent text exchange with him had been his compliment on your performance when you delivered that powerful monologue.
As you read through the lines of the new script, you couldn't help but wonder if this was just a coincidence or if it was something more. The thought of reuniting with him, this time on a film set, filled you with a mix of excitement and curiosity. It was as though destiny had once again brought you together, this time in the world of acting, where your paths were destined to cross once more.
You opened your phone to text him. His clipped reply came a few hours later, making you nervous. Against your best judgment, you had continued to text him, the whirlwind of excitement affecting you.
You: Hey, Yoongi. I just received the updated script. You: What a coincidence, huh? Yoongi: Yeah You: I know this isn't your usual thing You: But I'm really looking forward to working together. Yoongi: Sure You: Also, I was thinking You: The producers and our agencies didn't know that we knew each other when they agreed on this project You: Let's keep it that way? Yoongi: Good idea You: Perfect. Thanks, Yoongi
---
The day of the shoot arrived, and right from the start, it was evident that Yoongi was having a tough time. He hadn't hidden the fact that he preferred to focus on his music and disliked anything unrelated to it. It was clear that this cameo was not something he had willingly chosen; he was only doing it because his agency had pressured him.
Initially, the role had been intended for his bandmate Seokjin, who wanted to explore acting before their official group comeback. This cameo was the perfect opportunity for him, both in terms of schedule and the role itself. Seokjin, renowned for his devastatingly handsome looks, saw this small part in your romance drama as a chance to showcase his acting skills. The filming schedule was packed into a week, and he wasn't required to be involved in any promotional activities, ensuring it wouldn't interfere with his preparations for the upcoming group comeback.
However, at the last minute, Seokjin had to withdraw from the opportunity due to a sudden injury. While it wasn't a severe injury, it did require him to stay off his feet for the next few weeks, making him unable to participate in the shoot. This created a pressing need for a replacement, as the production company insisted that Big Hit fulfil their contractual obligations and generate the expected buzz. They weren't specific about which member should fill the role.
Unfortunately, with the younger members of the band still fulfilling their military enlistment, and Hoseok facing scheduling conflicts with the shoot, the agency had no choice but to press Yoongi into taking Seokjin's place. The oldest member had also personally appealed to Yoongi, expressing his guilt over the abrupt cancellation and his trust in Yoongi’s skill.
Yoongi's discomfort was evident from the start. He was awkward with acting with a partner, much less of the opposite sex, having only ever acted for music videos with his crew. The shoot was taking longer than it was supposed to, and the results were far from satisfactory.
Yoongi’s obvious negative attitude, coupled with his lack of motivation, quickly soured your mood. You knew he could act; you'd seen his acting in music videos. You damn well knew that Min Yoongi was a professional, and he usually didn't let his feelings affect his work. But your frustration grew within you as once again the director called cut, dissatisfied with what he was seeing on the screen.
When the director finally called for a break, you couldn't contain it any longer and confronted Yoongi, who was still standing beside you. “What the hell is wrong with you?”
Yoongi was surprised by your outburst of anger, he’s so used to seeing your gentle nature in all the time he had known you. Feeling the weight of the impending argument, Yoongi glanced warily at the bustling film set, where crew members hurried about their tasks. He realized that this was not the place for such a confrontation. With a tense expression, he nodded toward a nearby door, signalling for you to follow him to a more private location.
You followed him through the door, and it led to a quiet, dimly lit hallway away from the prying eyes of the crew. The distant sounds of equipment and voices faded as you continued your heated exchange.
"You know that this is incredibly important to me!" Your voice quivered as you looked down on the ground, not willing to let him know how much it affected you. "I've worked so hard to get to this point, and you're ruining it."
"I'm not an actor. I'm a musician." He finally retorted, his voice defensive. "I hate acting in front of people."
"I know this is just one of those unhappy obligations attached to your music career, Yoongi." Your voice was more hushed but no less intense when you spoke again. "But this is my dream."
Yoongi's gaze remained fixed on the floor, his frustration evident. He scratched his head, a nervous habit that betrayed his inner turmoil.
"I didn't sign up for this drama, alright?" He muttered, his voice tinged with resignation. "I didn't want to do it in the first place."
You took a step closer and finally looked up at him, eyes locked with his. As tears welled up in your eyes, you wiped at them angrily with the back of your hand. Your voice quivered as you spoke, your words a plea as much as an accusation.
"You know I've fought tooth and nail to get here," you choked out, "and I can't believe you're just treating this, treating me, like a burden."
You couldn't bear to be in that room any longer. Without a word, you stormed out, your emotions raw and unchecked. It was a rare display of frustration from someone who often appeared cool and composed on the outside.
The filming location was vast, and you wandered, unknowingly, to a secluded spot far from the set. You found solace in the quiet, away from the chaos of the shoot, and took a moment to collect your thoughts.
Meanwhile, Yoongi was left grappling with the situation. His reclusive nature often kept him from expressing his emotions openly. However, those who knew him well understood that he had a tender side, particularly when it came to people he cared about, and you were undoubtedly one of them. He realized the gravity of the argument and how he had let his discomfort with acting get the best of him.
Desperate to make amends, Yoongi began searching for you. He was not one to express his emotion with words, but he was determined to show you how sorry he was. As he wandered through the filming location, his anxiety grew, and he realized how much he needed to find you and make things right.
Finally, he stumbled upon you in that secluded spot. There you were, still visibly upset, but the solitude had given you a chance to collect yourself. When he saw you, a mix of relief and guilt washed over him.
Yoongi approached you cautiously, his cool and aloof exterior momentarily crumbling as he softly called out your name.
You turned to see him standing there, his usual shyness momentarily overshadowed by the urgency of the moment. The atmosphere was thick with unspoken emotions as you looked into each other's eyes, both knowing that this was a turning point in your relationship, and that apologies alone wouldn't mend what had been broken.
Yoongi hesitated for a moment, his gaze shifting to the floor as he gathered his thoughts. He clenched and unclenched his fists, a physical manifestation of the inner turmoil he was experiencing.
He began softly by calling your name again, his voice barely above a whisper, "I'm... I'm really sorry for how I acted back there." His words were sincere, his voice wavering as he admitted his fears and insecurities. "I know it was wrong, and I let my nerves get the best of me." His eyes finally met yours, filled with a mixture of regret and hope. "I'm just... I'm so nervous, and I'm afraid of failing, of disappointing people, disappointing you."
Your heart softened as you listened to his heartfelt apology. In this private, secluded spot, it felt as though it was just the two of you, sharing a moment of honesty and vulnerability.
"Yoongi," you responded gently, taking a step closer to him. "It's okay. We all have moments of doubt and fear."
As you spoke, you reached out and placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder, offering comfort and understanding.
"But you don't have to be perfect," you continued, your voice filled with empathy, "and you don't have to pretend to be someone you're not."
Your touch on his shoulder was warm and comforting, and it seemed to ease some of the tension that had been lingering between you.
"All you need to do," you whispered, your fingers gently squeezing his shoulder, "is try your best and trust me."
Yoongi's shoulders began to relax as he absorbed your words, his eyes reflecting a growing sense of understanding.
"Imagine it's just you and me there," you added, your voice filled with encouragement, "just like when we used to take long walks with the shelter dogs."
You offered him an encouraging smile, your gaze unwavering.
"Forget about everyone else," you urged softly, "and just look at me."
At that moment, it felt as though the world outside had faded away, leaving just the two of you in a shared understanding. The walls of pride and frustration had crumbled, replaced by a renewed sense of connection and trust.
---
The tension among the crew was palpable when you resumed the shoot. They had witnessed some of your arguments earlier and were frustrated by the lack of chemistry in the previous takes before the break.
But as it turned out, the confrontation was exactly what you both needed.
As you and Yoongi stood amidst the bustling crew and equipment, his eyes were solely focused on you. His gaze was intense, and you, the professional actress, had faltered on the first take, shuddering under the weight of his gaze.
Taking a deep breath, you centered yourself before the camera rolled for the second take. This time, you were ready to meet his gaze head-on.
The director was left speechless by the intense chemistry between you two. Yoongi seemed to be in perfect sync with you, making the first scene incredibly believable. The director offered a few minor suggestions for improvement, but even without his corrections, your acting was already spot on.
The final cut of that first scene signalled the end of your first day of shooting. You and Yoongi had a brief discussion with the director, taking notes on what needed to be adjusted for the next shoot tomorrow.
The director immediately left to call the production company, his mind buzzing with the possibility of a sequel, specifically centered around you and Yoongi.
You turned to face Yoongi, who stood beside you, wearing a genuine smile that expressed your gratitude for his effort. It hadn't been easy for him, and you knew it.
---
Little did you know, it wasn't hard for him. Your words from your fight kept ringing in his head on each day of the shoot.
Each time, he focused solely on you, and everyone else on the set quickly disappeared from his mind. He discovered that it wasn't much like acting at all. Minho's smiles as he looked at Minseo were genuinely Yoongi's own. The way he would steal glances at you when he thought no one was looking, or the subtle, tender touches that he initiated during your scenes, were all manifestations of his own desires.
He didn't even realize that some of his actions weren't in the script; he was too immersed in you to remember. You were surprised the first time it happened, but you quickly improvised on your own to enhance your scenes, making them even more heartfelt and authentic. These small, genuine gestures only added to the palpable chemistry between your characters.
The days on set became a delightful dance of unspoken connection, with each take bringing you closer, both as actors and as something more.
---
Your subplot wrapped up on a heartwarming note. Minseo, your character, who had been hurt by the lead male character, initially hesitated to accept Minho's, Yoongi's character, confession. There were some emotional twists, but eventually, Minseo decided to let their love story unfold, one step at a time. The subplot concluded in a touching moment where Minho tenderly kissed the back of Minseo's hand.
You shivered when you felt Yoongi's lips on your skin. It was electrifying.
However, after the shoot ended, you bolted, leaving Yoongi confused and a bit hurt. You haven't initiated contact ever since. He gave you space, not wanting to push you further but curious about your sudden retreat from his life.
As expected, when the last two episodes aired, your and Yoongi's names made the biggest buzz, even eclipsing the main couple’s. You were elated, with tons of fans expressing their awe at your chemistry and praising your acting. The hashtag #minmincouple, a play on your characters' names, trended for days, with fans demanding more – more episodes, a new season, or even just a one-episode special.
You hadn't anticipated this level of attention. You knew that Yoongi's name carried a lot of weight, but you didn't expect the sheer amount of attention you received. Naturally, along with the praise came hateful comments that flooded your social media accounts. Internet trolls and toxic fans attacked you for your on-screen chemistry.
The buzz around your pairing led to a snowball effect. Your agency was flooded with new project offers and joint projects with Yoongi. At the behest of both agencies and the production company, you and Yoongi had to do a photo shoot and the accompanying interview as post-aired promotions.
Meanwhile, amidst the chaos of newfound fame, the hateful comments that had taken refuge in your social media accounts, and your potentially unwelcome blossoming feelings, you and Yoongi hadn't spoken since the last day of the shoot. He had tried reaching out, but you, apprehensive about your own feelings, chose not to respond to his texts.
The evening you received the message from your manager, confirming the upcoming photoshoot and interview with Yoongi, a message notification popped up, and you were startled to see Yoongi's name on the screen.
Yoongi: Hey, thanks for guiding me throughout the shoot. I'm glad to experience this with you. Yoongi: Hey, are you okay? *new unread message* Yoongi: Hey, can we talk about the interview?
Your heart wavered at the sight of his message. It had been a while since you'd heard from him. Seeing his earlier messages again triggered a whirlwind of emotions. His first text was sent on the night of your last shoot, a bittersweet reminder of the intense moments you had shared on set. The second message came when the hate towards you started flooding the gossip columns. You had left both messages unanswered, unsure of how to respond at the time.
This time, you took a deep breath and decided to reply.
You: Hey, Yoongi. Sure, are you free to talk now? I can call. Yoongi: Can I come over? We could talk in person if you're comfortable with it.
You hesitated for a moment, torn between wanting to see him and the uncertainty of your own feelings. But you decided to take a chance.
You: Sure, you can come over. I could use some company.
A short while later, there was a knock at your door. You opened it to find Yoongi standing there, looking genuinely concerned. The sight of him made your heart skip a beat.
"Hey," he said softly as you let him enter your apartment.
You offered a faint smile. "Hey." You led him to your living room, where the cosy sofa sat in front of your TV.
Yoongi began the conversation by offering a heartfelt apology, "I'm really sorry you're receiving a lot of hate because of me. You’ve been amazing in the drama, it’s not fair."
Frowning slightly, you replied, "Hey, it's not your fault, Yoongi. Some 'fans' can get like this, I knew what I was getting into."
Yoongi sighed, "I wish there was more I could do. But I wanted to let you know you're not alone. I’m here if you want to talk about it."
You smiled warmly, touched by his sincerity. "Thank you, Yoongi. That means a lot to me."
For the next few hours, the two of you talked about everything – the drama, your skyrocketing fame, the upcoming photoshoot and interview, and even the updates on your lives since you last saw each other. The conversation flowed effortlessly, and it felt like no time had passed since you last spoke. Yoongi, bless his heart, didn’t bring up the fact that you didn’t reply to his earlier messages.
As the night grew late, Yoongi made a confession, "I've missed talking to you, you know? It's been strange not having you around."
You looked at him, your heart pounding. "Yeah, I've missed you too."

The more Eunhye elaborated on her response, the more Minseo was drawn in with every nugget of information she received and this moment only displayed how magnetic her mentor's personality truly was. Her mind reminded of her the one time she had to give a speech and bombed. Eunhye made it look so easy, came off so natural that she wanted to learn how to be like her. To her, the conversation felt like she wasn't only speaking to her, but rather a sea of trainees that would kill to be in her position. Her question received an enthusiastic nod from her, silently wonder if Eunhye had read her diary, but how did the company get a hold of her diary?
With her humorous intrusion aside, she felt relieved that someone as talented as Eunhye had self-doubts similar to hers when she had joined the company. Even so, those doubts were still perched on her shoulders, weighing her down throughout her years of training and she had packed them in her luggage to take it to the competition with her. "I don't think I've said this before and I shouldn't be confessing to this either, but I was really adamant that I wanted to be an actress and that is the reason why I become a trainee." She felt silly confessing to this not only on camera, but to Eunhye as well and knowing that her acting will be judged for the unforeseeable future. Would viewers make fun of her and dangle it over her head for years to come?
She knew that she had been one of the weakest trainees that joined during her acceptance year, but she had really put all her eggs in one basket. She knew that she wouldn't regret it. "I really hadn't expected to fall in love with singing until my first month as a trainee and every other skill took a backseat. To this day, I'm still shock that I can stand on stage and sing. Sometimes, it doesn't feel like me, but someone else that takes over..." Her voice trails off with a soft chuckle, finding herself tempted to glance at the camera for a split second and hoping that the editors would take pity on her and not insert that in. "Thank you for your thoughtful response. I will take it into account moving forward and I'll even share it with the rest of the trainees that think similarly to me."
"You should really think of holding a LGCx Talk for all of us." Minseo jokingly suggests, clapping her hands together when she figures out what she wants to ask her mentor next. "Ah, this is very important! My mind becomes fuzzy when learning choreography for the first time. Do you know those old school televisions that have that staticky noise when there is no signal? That's my mind when I have to learn something new and I freeze. Do you have any suggestions on how I should stop finding choreography intimidating?"
being on camera was something eunhye was a natural at, but hearing minseo's words left her feeling flattered. as she accepted each compliment from minseo with a smile and “thank you. you’re super pretty too!”, eunhye could already imagine the editors keeping a counter of how many times the two have exchanged such words. but as much as she would like their meeting to be like this, she knows that at the end of the day she was here to give minseo as much insightful advice as she could possibly give.
leaning a bit closer towards minseo to express her interest and attention towards the conversation, she let out an airy laugh once she heard something that caught her attention. “oh, of course!” eunhye reacted too confidently in her answer, but the question itself reminded her of the first three years as a trainee and how that was such a recurring theme for her. “i mean, it’s hard not to feel that sense of doubt especially when you’re surrounded by so many talented people, don’t you agree?” eunhye leaned back, quickly trying to recall some sort of event in her life that was worth revealing to minseo and the public. “but i really felt that when i was a trainee. i remembered during my first week, i entered the practice room with so much confidence thinking, ‘if i got accepted by legacy, that must mean i’m talented!’ only to be hit with reality when the first workshop i had taken that day was a singing workshop, my weakest skill back then!” she lets minseo imagine the scenario a bit before continuing on with her story, “and over time, the doubt would linger as i tried different workshops… dancing, rapping, acting, modeling…”
returning to the question, eunhye summarized, “but i’d say those years gave me a sense of awareness of the skills i lacked and i took that time to keep practicing on them even when my doubts said otherwise. i realized at one point that the best way for me to cope with the doubts is to always make sure i’m doing at least one skill or task that i’m confident in as a reminder that i am special. so i guess that would be my advice to that… make sure to do something that you are confident in frequently and gradually it’ll become easier to perform confidently because you already know the feeling and how to channel it. but honestly, i think you will achieve that faster than i have.”
