      ‘Welcome home.’ Never had those two most wanted words to hear, especially in today’s world, had been the opposite. Unwanted. They sounded quite foreboding at the moment. Perhaps it was due to the decaying sight of what was once a city full of life, with it’s minor shares of criminal activity. Now, it’s the home to the walking dead. Where it all begun -- the fall of humanity. 

She should know better, than to return because a bullshit story a traitor had tipped her off with. Unfortunately, she didn’t have a choice. The numbers on her brand new wristwatch continued to tick down. 

However, a fragment of light in the back of her head did beckon her. It told her that her peace could be here, as well. You know how some things are to be found in places you’d most least expect to find them. Something her father used to tell her. No, used to remind her. It only made so much sense right now. It’s no doubt, that he -- the traitor -- was intentionally sending her there to die. But they don’t know something that only Alice does, about herself. 

And so with that reminder of her own strength, she begun to climb over the small pile of rubble that had somehow formed in the middle of the highway. Through the entrance to Raccoon City. She easily ignored the decaying bodies hanging from the highway signs above by their necks. 

No time to wonder, and mourn. No time nor place to give a proper burial. 

Even with the debris scattered throughout her path, she easily recognized the shortcuts back towards the only one place she dreaded to return to. The Parks mansion.

New gear, clothes fresh, mask the newest and latest technology that this second iteration of Umbrella had to offer.  As well as some... Other modifications.  It was like wearing new skin-- Like every aged and weathered bone had been replaced with steel.  Death felt-- He felt invincible.  Fingers curl, popping his joints into proper place, rolling his shoulder and neck.  H.U.N.K. felt like he did twenty years ago.  No.  

He felt better.  

So naturally, his first reaction is to want to flex these newfound muscles. He only trusted one subordinate to give him a proper test. “We’re sparring, VECTOR.  All gear, no guns.”  He wasn’t asking, he was telling his subordinate what was happening, it was an order.

Not gonna lie. I wake up every day since RE8 came out and I have to stop myself from resurrecting @activecamouflage-blog , @triplestrain , and @withgoodwil .

Maybe I'll add my sons to the multi when I stop only talking about it and do it.

Then I look at old posts and get angry because I'm reminded of deception from someone I thought was a friend.

Fiiiiiiiiiigure, I should give an update.

Holidays are over and I’m starting to get back into my normal mental space AND starting to get back in a normal work schedule... SO... I’m probably going to be slooooooowly making my way back here off and on. Admittedly a lot of my time has been over at @activecamouflage @withgoodwil and @triplestrain ... but I do miss Corey and a few people here so... gonna try and juggle my time as I can. <3

...shout out to @stalkingthestars and @urobouros for being wonderful and helping me through everything. u-u <3 They are both precious baes.
