Top three ships: ehhh,,, my ships change a lot? But I guess I could say that my top three favorite ships could be Voxman (Lord Boxman x Professor Venomous, OK K.O.!: Let’s Be Heroes), Rajawn (Raj x Shawn, Craig of the Creek; has barely any content but they’re pretty freakin’ adorable in the canon), and Frock (Master Frown x Brock, Unikitty!). I love cartoons, and shipping happens to be one of the ways I like to express my love for it, so I tend to multiship and change interest in ships as my love for certain characters or cartoons shift. I should make a list for this lmao,,,

Word count: 1001

summary: Kara, Luther, and Alice have finally started to live a peaceful life in Canada. With the revolution for androids ending successfully, they have a chance for a fresh start. But when someone from their past shows up unexpectedly, Kara isn’t sure how to feel about it.

A/N: I really am excited to participate in this and I hope you(acpcaddict) enjoyed this, though it wasn’t my best work.

Kara smiled as Luther and Rose played with Alice on the playground.

They had only been in Ontario for a few weeks after the Battle of Detroit, as the media had been calling it. Kara, Luther, and Alice had gone with Rose to her brothers to finally be a family, like they had wanted for a while.

The next fall, Kara was planning on enrolling Alice into a nearby school. She was very, very excited about this, seeing as after Todd’s wife had left he had stopped sending her to school. And Luther was looking for a job with a construction company so that they could eventually move out. Even though Rose constantly assured them it was no trouble, they still felt like they were imposing.

Kara shook her head, clearing her thoughts as Rose walked up to her. “Kara, I was wondering if I could take Alice home, it’s starting to get late and I don’t want her staying up all night.”

Kara chuckled a little. Alice was cared for by more people then she knew what to do with. “Of course Rose. I’m going to take a little walk. I won’t be long.”

Rose nodded and went back to Luther and Alice. Alice came running over and hugged Kara. “Bye Mom.”

“See you soon Alice.” Kara said smiling, watching as they left.

Kara walked by the water, almost mesmerized by the reflection of the sun setting on the water. She had taken a lot of these walks since coming to canada, it calmed her. Since she had been repaired, she hadn’t had a chance of peace and rest. It was hard to get used to. 

Kara was about to head home when she heard a voice.

“Hello Kara.”

Chills ran down her spine as she turned to look at the origin of the voice. 

Connor.

“Take me if you have to but leave Alice alone!” Kara blurted out. She was sure if her LED was still there it would be a strong red.

“What?” He looked confused for a moment. “No, I’m not here to take you in.”

Now it was Kara’s turn to be confused. “Then why are you here? Aren’t you the deviant hunter? The last time I saw you-”

“I’ve deviated.” He interrupted her. Now that the initial shock had somewhat subsided, she noticed Connor did seem different. He no longer had his tie and his LED was gone.

“What...” Kara hesitated and took a deep breath. She was still resisting the urge to run off. “What are you doing here then?”

“I...” He seemed uncertain. “I wanted to apologize.”

Kara remained silent.

“And to give this to the child,” He pulled out the stuffed fox Alice had from before they had run away.

Kara sucked in a breath.

When she didn’t say anything, Connor took this as a sign to go on. “A few days after Markus won the revolution, I didn’t have much to do. I couldn’t exactly go back and do what I had before. So, I decided to make amends. Markus has been busy with the treaty and I haven’t had much luck with the other deviants I’ve...encountered. 

“But I was able to find Todd Williams house where this was and asked Markus if he knew where you had been heading.” He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “I realize this most likely made you uncomfortable and this was very unexpected. I just wanted to apologize and give this to you for the girl. So, I’m sorry, about everything.”

He handed the fox to her and started to walk away. “Goodbye.”

Kara looked down at the fox and without really thinking called out. “Wait. You came all the way here. Would you like to go on a walk? I was planning on going home soon anyway.”

Connor looked at her a moment and a small smile appeared on his face. “That sounds nice.”

It didn’t take too long for them to get to Rose’s brother’s house. But they talked an awful lot on the way there. 

Kara talked about how she met Alice, and what Todd had been doing to her. How they ran away and ended up finding Ralph in that house. What happened at Zlatko’s house, luther, rose, and eventually how they made it to Canada.

In turn Connor told her of the other deviant cases he had been assigned to work with alongside a lieutenant Hank Anderson. That with each case he began to feel more and more like he was alive. Connor quietly told her about how he’s still worried Cyberlife might take over him and hurt others again.

Then they made it to the door and they turned to each other to say goodnight.

“I know that you weren’t expecting me.” Connor began. “But I had a very pleasant evening with you. I’m grateful I had the chance to apologize to you.”

“Connor, it’s ok. You’re forgiven.” Kara reassured him and it looked like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

“Thank you Kara.” He said. “I believe this is the appropriate time to say goodbye.”

“I suppose it is.” And yet neither of them moved.

Connor leaned in slightly, but stopped hesitently. After a moment Kara closed the gap and shut her eyes as they kissed.

It wasn’t particularly heated or intense but rather was gentle and slow. Several seconds later, they parted, both wearing small smiles.

“I have very little experience in this field, but that was nice.” Connor said.

“Yes, yes it was.” Kara responded. “But what do we do now?”

“I’m not sure. But maybe we can figure it out in the morning.” Connor suggested.

Kara nodded and grabbed his hand, opening the door and pulling him into the house, up the stairs, quietly past alice's room, and into Kara’s own.

They may not have known what was going to happen, but they knew they didn’t need to talk about it right that second. They had other things to do.

Lipstick or chapstick: I’m getting déjà vu. Have I answered this type of tagging thing before? But uhh, lipstick, ‘cause I never remember chapstick exists even if my lips are sandpaper dry.

3 Favorite foods: Uh... mother’s lasagne recipe, my friend’s chicken+rice+veggie+coconut thingy and umm... barbequed mushrooms filled with blue cheese. Yum.

Song stuck in my head: Nothing atm. I get more annoying audio ads stuck in my head... Working at the mall an’ all.

Last Movie I Saw: Asterix & Obelix: Misson Cleopatra. Love its comedy. It’s so... me.

How many blankets do you sleep in: One. I sleep in the same blanket no matter what season. It’s kinda like fluffy socks... Doesn’t matter if it’s +30C or -30C, always need dem fluffy socks on. If it gets too hot like this summer, I just sleep with my feet poking out beneath the blanket and with a table fan blowing in my face. xD

Dream Trip: Iceland. Ooooor alternatively doing that tourist geisha thingy in Kyoto would be cool, too. The one where they dress you up and put authentic geiko makeup and stuff and have a photoshoot. Would be cool. Otherwise I’m not too interested in Japan, just Kyoto.

Anything you want: I want... to feel like I’m not wasting away my existance and contribute something to the society and not be just a leech. Sure, I work and pay my taxes like a good citizen, but dat ain’t enuff, yo. I wanna find a job where I can feel I’m good at it, feel confident in myself and my abilities, and that I wanna give it my all every day. Basically the opposite of what I’m doing atm. =u=;

Dream Trip: It’s impossible to choose! A road trip in South America? Or maybe China, Japan and South Korea?

Anything you want: I’ve always writed and I’m currently on a Fantasy novel I’ve spent hours working on for 4 or 5 years now. If one day I can get edited, my life would be complete.

But if I can’t, I’m not against a little cheque of 522647472352 € to go on a road trip and never come back.

What Do I Post: Ha, well just stuff I find funny and some au ideas every now and then. I only saw this because I’m posting some writing right now. I just have to you know write it. 

Do I get asks: Nope! Not often at least but I enjoy the ones I do get. 

URL Meaning: Oh I watched this anime called Gunslinger Girl when I was younger I liked the music for it so much that it stuck with me. Plus it was pretty good but the manga is weird as fuck but I kept it because the music meant a lot to me. 

Average hours of sleep: Maybe five but I need more sleep.

Nationality: Who know’s. African American for the most part but a good majority of my dads family were gypsies so he says we’re mixed with a lot of things.
