This is my own design of what I think the bone carver looked like at the battle with Hybern (acowar) described as illyrian in appearance with an ivory scimitar, I gave him long hair and pale skin to resemble his twin sister, the stryga⚔️

I commissioned the incredible @krem-does-stuff for day 2 of @azrisweek and I'm utterly obsessed with how this turned out. It’s favorite tropes day and naturally the enemies-to-lovers perfection is what draws many people to the Azris ship in the first place.

This gorgeous, jaw-dropping art is based on the “they’re enemies but oh no they have to work together” section of the classic ETL arc.

The title of the art is one of the tags I created for my fic What Lies Inside (this commission is inspired by chapter 5 for those who know it.)

Azriel Appreciation Week: Belonging

Rhys said to Azriel, "If I had not met a shadowsinger, I would not have known that it is the family you make, not the one you are born into, that matters. I would not have known what it is to truly hope, even when the world tells you to despair.” -ACOWAR Chapter 69

For this piece, we really wanted to capture a young Azriel finally finding a place where he belongs. A mother figure to love him as her own, brothers who tease him lovingly not cruelly, a family he chose for himself, and a place to call home. One of the sweetest parts of this piece is the quiet joy and tenderness in Azriel's expression as he looks on his found family.

We can not thank aurithemoon enough for bringing this piece to life for us. She captured everything that we were envisioning in a way only she can. It is such a pleasure and honor to work with someone so talented, so accomplished, and so kind 💙

This is my first Lucien portrait and I love it so much! I wanted to portray Lucien in the way that I see him and I got inspired by that scene in ACOWAR where he sees Elain and his breathing stops when she faces him.
