Got around to reading the Archie Online comic, and I have a question: How would Jaune have fared during the Mecha Sally arc?

Like Sonic did, he would be freaked out at seeing Sally being roboticized. Though, since this is Jaune's first time seeing a living being turned into a robot is a horrific experience, especially since it's Sally Acorn. Like everyone else involved, it's a demoralizing experience and it adds to a list of worse if we're putting Grimm into the equation.

His mental state would be worse than his canon self and Sonic's during the time, and it would bring back memories of the Fall of Beacon. He would practically shut down emotionally, flinging himself into danger, even to the point of nearly getting his Aura broken. That's how Jaune would react to the whole situation.

NSFW reasons aside, there's also the knight x princess trope; though Sally isn't your typical princess and Jaune's a endearing goof.

How about a bit of a reverse: How would Sally fair if Jaune was robotosized instead of her?

Similar to Sonic being turned into Mecha Sonic during the Mecha Madness Storyline, Sally would be emotionally distraught. But, the first priority is the safety of others. Making plans and tactics to stop 'Mecha Jaune', though is thrown for a loop to learn that Eggman has found a way to make use of Jaune's semblance.

So, difficult times all around.
