Sikap kontraproduktif.
Ternyata manusia memang tempatnya mengeluh, tempatnya ketidaktahuan ya.
April
Ternyata dalam bab ber-Qur’an pun, aku gagal mencapai target. Aku tertinggal jauh.
Kebanyakan alasan. Kebanyakan bermalas-malasan. Jaga lah, capek lah, badan sakit lah.
Tapi Allah kasih rezeki berupa Ramadhan.
Tapi aku gagal menaikkan berat badan. Haha (naik sih, tapi turun lagi)
Tapi alhamdulillah, memenuhi syarat. Walau ujian sambil merasakan macam-macam gejala efek samping obat.
Juli
Gagal mengumpulkan berkas LPDP sebelum deadline.
September
Gagal rasanya ketika sempat ditegur konsulen karena scientific poster ku perlu berulang kali revisi.
Pengalaman pertama mengirimkan case report
Lalu kelelahan setelah lomba.
Huhu.
Ketika mini project, aku berkali-kali gagal menganalisis data. Bahkan beberapa jam menjelang presentasi, aku baru menyadari kesalahan krusial yang membuatku mengulang seluruh pekerjaanku haha. Panik.
Guru kami berkata: untuk Al-Qur’an, jangan pernah takut bermimpi
Maka aku coba kembali, tertatih-tatih sekali pun.
Allahummarhamna bil Qur’an..
..Sepertinya masih banyak. Kegagalan-kegagalanku.
-h.a.
Kalau kamu juga berbagi kegagalanmu, sertakan #perjalanankegagalan ya, siapa tau kita saling menemukan bahwa kita semua memang hanya manusia biasa

Tony Gustavsson and Why He Could Win the World Cup
There are hundreds of complaints against Tony Gustavsson, the Matildas manager, most of them coming in the form of angry Instagram comments or snide Twitter posts. Comments read things such as, "his lack of tactical knowledge will crush us in the world cup", or, "he isn't experimenting, he's a national embarrassment." These are harsh, of course, but when looking at the results of many of the games played by his Matildas side in the past 18 months, you have to see that these look credible. However, in the fits of rage after losing an 'easy' friendly, people may forget he has already made history with the Matildas.
Gustavsson led the Matildas to a fourth place Olympic finish. That is remarkable, not because it is surprising, but just because even under the 'successful' tenure of former coach, Alen Stajcic, they never achieved such a high finish. Although the Matildas made history, one has to think they could potentially have gotten Olympic Gold or Silver. For years, the Matildas have had it's stars carrying the squad, but under Gustavsson, it seems the squad could achieve more cohesion.
Unfortunately for Gustavsson, he could not transfer this success over into the months following. Losing to the Republic of Ireland was embarrassing, being smashed by the Spain was miserable, and nearly losing to New Zealand was horrific. Within these painful results, there were signs of hope.; a fantastic win on home soil over Brazil, one of the Matildas' biggest rivals; a well-fought tie with the USA, and of course a smashing victory over Indonesia. The latter seemed to be starting up a victorious Asian Cup campaign, where Australia flopped out in the quarterfinals. Overall, not a great confidence booster for the next World Cup hosts.
But it should be. In all of these results, one thing is constant: the experimentation and introduction of younger inexperienced players into the admittedly shallow Matildas team. Australia has never had a deep squad, especially not the level of top tier countries such as England, Spain, or the USA. Many fans of nations such as those have to hope their favorite players won't be dropped from the squad, whereas Matildas fans have to hope the players who are brought in aren't terrible. Under Alen Stajcic, the Matildas were more successful than they ever have been, but only with a core squad formed around players like Kerr, De Vanna, Kellond-Knight, and Van Egmond. Gustavsson is building squad depth and giving the Matildas' stars a deserved rest. While no one can replace these superstars, having decent backups is SO important. Sam Kerr is one of a kind, but players like Princess Ibini-Isei and Remy Siemsen will push her to work even harder for her spot. Ellie Carpenter seems like a sure starter, but now with a torn ACL, Charli Grant has stepped up magnificently. Gustavsson has brought in Courtney Nevin to replace either of the rocks in center back, with some extra youthful speed. Lydia Williams has some massive competitors with Micah and Arnold. Hayley Raso has Cortnee Vine sprinting to steal her spot. This competition makes the starters work harder, as well as having a back up option, which is a major factor to winning a tournament.
The Matildas have a shot at winning the World Cup on home soil with Tony Gustavsson. They will come into the tournament as underdogs if they keep churning out similar results, which they can use to their advantage to exploit other teams' weak spots. They'll come into the World Cup with an actual bench, something they didn't even have at the Olympics, which is a credit to Tony Gustavsson and Tony Gustavsson only. They'll come into these games with stars that burn bright, but also with a constellation of players that will solidify the team into cohesion. Last but not least, if anything is certain, it's that they will want to prove the world wrong, and kick ass for their home country.

Rainbow stats: 157 signed up for Louis’ Walls Tour so far - more rainbows needed in Asia, the Americas & Italy!
Amazing success for Walls the album, SO many copies sold! Makes us so excited for Louis’ tour that’s coming closer and closer now. We had 43 registered participants during the promo tour in 2019 and it’s looking good for the rainbows in the UK and Europe during the upcoming 2020 Walls Tour, but the Americas and Asia could use a few more, as could the recently announced new dates in Italy, Ukraine and Scarborough.
So far we’ve got 89  102  119 129 157 in total, but we’d really like to see at least 17 13 12 11 more - one (or more :-) ) for each venue that’s not yet covered and where it’s safe to express our views - so please consider joining us and getting the number up! You can sign up here
And if you’re going to a venue where there’s already participants: the more the merrier! Join something really special and become part of this incredible history.  You can find other participants on our map, as always,  accessible here
Below are the stats - venues where we really want participants marked in bold - those where we’d love to see them, but know expressing support to LGBTQ+ rights may hold risks in italics (learn more here)

Louis Tomlinson returns with his joyous new single, 'We Made It'.
'We Made It' is an ode to teen dreams and young love, which fuses both the euphoric indie influences of Louis's teen years with more contemporary electronic pop sounds.
The track is inspired by stolen nights out in Manchester in the early days of One Direction.
“Any time off I had, I’d go to Manchester for nights out with my mates. It made me realise I didn’t live in the real world anymore and I missed it. I loved being normal, reckless and stupid. It was the best escape.
"We’d stay up all night, talking about our dreams and what we thought would happen to us. That age is such an exciting time. You’ve no idea what the future holds, but you have so much potential. Where is my life headed? Who knows?"
“The chorus of We Made It is also about me and the fans. Between us, it has taken a lot to get here. I’ve had to work really hard, had to learn about so much about myself. I feel as though only when I get out to tour, to sing these songs directly to the fans, will I have cemented the start of my solo career.”
Today, Louis also debuted the music video for 'We Made It', directed by Charlie Lightening (Paul McCartney and Liam Gallagher). The clip is a continuation from his ‘Kill My Mind’ video released in September.
Alongside the release of the single, Louis announced today a Wold Tour for 2020 that will visit London, Glasgow, Doncaster and Manchester, alongside Europe, UAE, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, the USA and Canada. The full tour dates are below. To purchase tickets and for more information for the tour, please visit https://www.louis-tomlinson.com/.
Yesterday Louis revealed that his debut solo album 'Walls' will be released on January 31st 2020. The album is available to pre-order now.
Ask Louis why he only recently felt ready to record a solo album and is only now itching to be back on stage and he’ll tell you straight – the songs. His run of hits in 2017, including hugely successful collaborations with Bebe Rexha and Steve Aoki, were in retrospect a mere dipping of toes in the water. Temperature tested he made some decisions – Louis wanted to be an artist who had his own sound and something to say. Chasing chart positions and radio play had to take a back seat to making music that meant something to him and, in turn, to those all-important fans.
“There was definitely a process of understanding where I sit musically,” says Louis. “I have my own tastes and, to a certain extent, they are fighting against the musical tide. “When I grew up, pop meant Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, The Killers and Amy Winehouse. Times change, obviously. Currently pop is very urban and street, which is not what I relate to. Sure, I could make those sort of songs, but they wouldn’t feel like me. The puzzle was how to please both myself and the fans.”
Also yesterday, Louis premiered the first episode of his new YouTube video series. Watch it below.
Louis recently headlined the Coca-Cola music festival in Madrid to an audience of 25,000 people. Earlier this year, Louis picked up the Best Song Award at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards for his recent single 'Two Of Us', which has so far hit 40 million streams on Spotify, with YouTube views at 23 million. In 2018 Louis won an iHeart Award for 'Best Solo Breakout', and an EMA Award for 'Best UK & Ireland Act' in 2017. He was ranked No.5 on Billboard’s emerging artists of 2018 and has over 60 million combined followers on social media.
As a member of One Direction, Louis has sold over 100 million records. Overall Louis’s solo music has garnered over a BILLION streams.
“I feel like a new artist now. It’s taken a while for me to be comfortable on my own, to learn to trust my gut and make sure I get what I want. I feel the most confident I’ve ever been, both as a songwriter and a singer, and the most mature.

Fuel protests gripping more than 90 countries (BBC) High costs of living are driving people to protest in the streets against crippling prices. The BBC has mapped all reported demonstrations over fuel since January 2021, revealing a huge increase in protests this year. By analysing data on demonstrations worldwide, collected by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (Acled), the BBC has established that between January and September this year people in more than 90 countries and territories took to the streets over the price or availability of fuel. A third were countries which had no protests at all over fuel in 2021. For example, Spain had none in 2021, but saw 335 individual rallies just in March this year. In Indonesia there have been more than 600 protests over petrol so far this year compared to just 19 in 2021. In Italy, there were over 200 in the first eight months of 2022 compared to just two last year. And in Ecuador, there were over 1,000 protests over fuel in the month of June alone.
AP-NORC poll: Many remain critical of state of US democracy (AP) Many Americans remain pessimistic about the state of U.S. democracy and the way elected officials are chosen—nearly two years after a divisive presidential election spurred false claims of widespread fraud and a violent attack on the U.S. Capitol. Only about half of Americans have high confidence that votes in the upcoming midterm elections will be counted accurately, according to a new poll by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, though that’s an improvement from about 4 in 10 saying that just before the 2020 presidential election. Just 9% of U.S. adults think democracy is working “extremely” or “very well,” while 52% say it’s not working well.
Baby Formula Supply and Demand (WSJ) Many U.S. households are still struggling to find baby formula, almost a year since supplies thinned on store shelves and eight months after a nationwide recall. Adults in roughly one-third of households with infant children who typically use formula had trouble obtaining it last month, according to a recent survey by the U.S. Census Bureau. Nearly one in five of affected households has less than a week of formula on hand, the survey showed. The survey offers one of the most detailed views yet into the nationwide formula shortage, and comes as lawmakers are taking steps to address ongoing supply issues.
UK inflation accelerates to 40-year-high amid food cost rise (AP) U.K. inflation accelerated to a 40-year high in September as the soaring cost of food squeezed household budgets. The consumer price index rose 10.1%, compared with 9.9% the previous month, the Office for National Statistics said Wednesday. The new data shows inflation returned to the July peak and is once again at the highest since early 1982. The increase was driven by food prices, which leapt by 14.5% from a year earlier, the biggest jump since 1980, the ONS said. Russia’s war in Ukraine has boosted food and energy prices around the world, with shipments of oil, grain and cooking oil disrupted.
French protests pile pressure on Macron (NYT) France’s mass strikes for higher wages, which first began in major oil refineries, have since grown to encompass other industries including nuclear plant workers, nurses, and railway staff. The French Education Ministry reported that almost 10 percent of all high school educators participated in Tuesday’s strikes.
Russia’s demographic decline (Bloomberg) Vladimir Putin spent years racing against Russia’s looming demographic clock, only to order an invasion of Ukraine that augurs another historic decline for his country. Besides Russian casualties mounting to potentially tens of thousands, a draft of several hundred thousand more and an even bigger flight of men seeking to avoid fighting have derailed Putin’s goal of stabilizing Russia’s population. Crippling disruptions from the war are converging with a 30-year-old demographic crisis for “a perfect storm.”
Putin escalates war with martial law as he faces threats (AP) Russian President Vladimir Putin doubled down Wednesday on his faltering invasion of Ukraine with a declaration of martial law in four illegally annexed regions and preparations within Russia for draconian new restrictions and crackdowns. Putin’s drastic efforts to tighten his grip on Ukrainians and Russians follow a series of embarrassing setbacks: stinging battlefield defeats, sabotage and troubles with his troop mobilization. His new measures may lead to a tougher crackdown on dissent in Russia: dispersal of antiwar protests and the jailing of people making statements or providing information about the fighting that differs from the official line.
Russia leaves more of Ukraine without power in new strikes (AP) Russian missile strikes and shelling of energy utilities left more Ukrainian villages, towns and parts of two cities without power on Wednesday, authorities said, further squeezing Ukraine and threatening misery for millions in winter. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy again urged Ukrainians to make “a very conscious” effort to save power, speaking ahead of another night where power substations and other infrastructure were pounded. A nearly two-week barrage of Russian attacks with missiles, self-destructing explosive drones and other weaponry on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure have opened a new phase in Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war and further tested the resilience Ukrainians have shown since Moscow invaded.
China’s “reunification with Taiwan” (Bloomberg) China has made a decision to seize Taiwan on a “much faster timeline” than previously thought, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said yesterday, shortly after China’s leader reiterated his intent to take the island by force if necessary. “There has been a change in the approach from Beijing toward Taiwan in recent years,” Blinken said in an event at Stanford University in California. The remarks from America’s top diplomat on Monday come as China holds its twice-a-decade Communist party congress, and shortly after Chinese President Xi Jinping used a widely-watched speech on Sunday to say the “wheels of history are rolling on towards China’s reunification” with Taiwan. While peaceful means were preferable, Xi added, “we reserve the option of taking all measures necessary.”
Seoul Gets Squeezed Between the U.S. and China (NYT) Do Geum-yeon, 86, has lived in this valley in South Korea all her life. During the Korean War in the 1950s, her village was so peaceful that she remembers refugees taking shelter in its humble homes and quiet hills. These days, though, Ms. Do spends much of her time protesting an unwanted guest: an American military base that is expanding on a nearby hilltop. “Now, if there is war, our village will become the first target because of that machine up there,” she said impatiently. The “machine” Ms. Do was referring to is the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system, a powerful radar and missile-interceptor battery. Five years ago, it was brought to this hamlet about 135 miles southeast of Seoul by the United States, infuriating China and prompting it to unleash economic retaliation. Washington and Seoul said the weapons system was crucial in their defense against North Korean aggression. China argued that the United States was using North Korea as an excuse to expand its military presence in the region and make implicit threats toward its most formidable competitor. Villagers like Ms. Do and their supporters, including labor activists, have tended to agree. Now, the Thaad system, located in an area once known for its melon patches, has become a symbol of the broader challenges facing South Korea as it tries to strike a balance between China, the country’s largest trading partner, and the United States, its main security ally.
Retired U.S. generals, admirals take top jobs with Saudi crown prince (Washington Post) More than 500 retired U.S. military personnel—including scores of generals and admirals—have taken lucrative jobs since 2015 working for foreign governments, mostly in countries known for human rights abuses and political repression, according to a Washington Post investigation. In Saudi Arabia, for example, 15 retired U.S. generals and admirals have worked as paid consultants for the Defense Ministry since 2016. The ministry is led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the kingdom’s de facto ruler, who U.S. intelligence agencies say approved the 2018 killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, a Washington Post contributing columnist, as part of a brutal crackdown on dissent. All the while, the gulf countries’ security forces have continued to commit human rights abuses at home and beyond their borders. With shared intelligence, aerial refueling and other support from the U.S. government and contractors, Saudi Arabia and the UAE have intervened in Yemen’s civil war to disastrous effect, triggering a global humanitarian crisis and killing thousands of civilians, according to United Nations investigators. We know that oil money talks, but how loud? According to documents, U.S. military “talent” total salaries in the six to seven figure range, far more than the top salaries in the actual U.S. military. There, four-star generals (the top of the pay scale) earn just $203,698 a year. In Qatar, a firm owned by six ex-Pentagon officials scored a $23.6 million defense contract. In Azerbaijan, one ex-U.S. Air Force general charged a rate of $5,000 a day. During court battles for the information, the military moved to redact pay information, stating that its release would subject ex-service members to “embarrassment and harassment” and “unfairly harm their public reputation.”
Ethiopia’s Brutal War Takes Worrying Turn (Foreign Policy) Ethiopian and Eritrean forces have captured Shire, a strategic city in Ethiopia’s Tigray region, in a sharp military escalation that has fueled fears of a deteriorating humanitarian crisis and sent thousands of panicked civilians racing to escape the city this past weekend. With Shire, Ethiopian government troops are in a stronger position to take major cities nearby—and are one step closer to the Tigrayan capital of Mekelle. The seizure of the city—which has a population of 100,000 locals and 60,000 displaced people—signals a worrying turn in a brutal, nearly two-year-long war that has killed an estimated half a million people and left millions more facing potential famine. “We really don’t know what the fate of these hundreds of thousands of people is,” said Cameron Hudson, a senior associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. “Are they going to be forcibly displaced? Are they going to be killed? Are they going to be ethnically cleansed from this area?”
At any age, a healthy diet can extend your life (Washington Post) No matter how old you are, or how much junk food you consume, it’s never too late to start undoing the damage caused by a poor diet. That’s the message from scientists who study how our food choices affect our life spans and our risk of developing diseases. They have found that people can gain sizable health benefits at any age by cutting back on highly processed foods loaded with salt, sugar and other additives and replacing them with more nutritious foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, beans, lentils, seafood and whole grains. The earlier you start, the better. Following a healthy diet from a young age leads to the greatest gains in life expectancy. But even people who wait until middle age or later to improve their eating habits still can add years to their lives.
