qr code tips:
make a page of qr codes dedicated to just solid colors. when spread and rotated on the floor, they will make a carpet to match anything you need (also great for cushions, pillows, bedspreads, etc.)
you can spread qr codes on the roof and use them as curtain fabrics
place a few custom small spotlights or paper wall lamps to add a tint of color. use the one-color qr code method from above on the paper wall lamp
use simple qr codes (solid colors, small florals, etc.) as tile rugs to place under things like dressers to add dimension or a pop of color
add dimension with qr code steps, porches, planks, stepping stones, etc. remember that clovers can be placed on top of qr code rugs to add overgrowth and more dimension
other helpful tips:
try rotating items towards a wall, especially those you can place other items on top of. for example, the deluxe washer makes a great orange metal stand when backwards. also, try placing a backwards (or not) dresser behind a bed to create a built-in headboard/shelf
use panels, partitions and screens to ‘break up’ space in rooms. add tall plants or other objects in front of any gaps these items create next to walls
when taking pictures, the happy home camera gives the best angles. you can even pull it out past the room’s boundaries for a fuller room view. however, you’ll have to hold it there while simultaneously taking a picture
see which items can be staggered to create dimension. a great example is the plant partition which looks great behind most dressers with items displayed on top
even if you don’t decorate all rooms, if you’re planning on taking pictures, it is great to have multiple rooms simply for the doors. you can change these doors to add aesthetic and realness to your rooms
