For as long as I can remember music has always been there for me, through the ups and downs, I've always found some sort of peace playing my favorite melodies at extensive volumes. Like some say "life is like a movie," well I'm the guy that takes that phrase in the most literal aspect, and the music I listen to is my daily soundtrack. In other words, my love for the combination of melodic instrumentation has molded me into the artist and man I am today.

Ace Jetzon reached out to me on tumblr, as an artist trying to get some more promo and fans, i’m always up for hearing new music and writing new posts, keeping my blog open for all genres and music-themed posts, so I thought, yeah, let’s give him a chance, also feeling low-key honoured someone had wanted me to help them.

Firstly, this genre of music isn’t really for me, the hip/hop rap vibe, I enjoy it on occasions, but not often. Although I’m not into it, I can tell talent from a mile away, and boy this is talent!!!! I honestly think Ace needs more recognition. I enjoyed listening to his soundcloud, and probably will do soon, his songs have a really cool “chilled out” type of vibe to them, and somehow helped me focus on my work??? I hate the fact his talent is being hidden, it NEEDS to be bought out and shown to the world. If you’re reading this now, no matter what music you like / dislike, go check him out, get your friends to check him out, and get their friends to check him out too.

I enjoyed this so much, I can see myself adding it to some playlists and continue on listening to him after today. Please, always keep open-minded to music genres you aren’t keen on, because you never know what amazing talent you’ll discover. Ace seems like a great guy, and hopefully if you're in the Atlanta (USA) area, you’ll be seeing more of him soon, and maybe even across america after a while, and soon into other territories. Baby steps with big progress. Now I want to keep this short and sweets so I think it’s time I leave. As much as I’m lowkey in love with his songs, I’m also kind of speechless and don't have much to write about, so go find out for yourself why i’m so shocked, enjoy his music and support him. I want to be seeing more of him in the future.

“When The Sun Goes Down” by The Jetzons cut from episode 8

Where did Darren’s dance come from at the high school party? Was that improvised? It was largely improvised. They also had a dance instructor there. We were so excited about that moment and that reveal. It was Ryan’s idea to have “Whip It,” which is such a specific beat and not the easiest thing to dance to. Darren just had a ball with it. In my original cut, it ended with him and Annaleigh Ashford on the dance floor and her falling into a full split.

We shot three different endings to this episode, and one of them was the two of them. But one of my favorite scenes to shoot was them by that fire, and you see that fire of their initial romance and coming together.

Two Lazy Weeks in the Making… (somewhere at the beginning of August 2017)

(Edit: Okay, the title sounds more dramatic than the actual bulk of this post but lets get into the ramblings of a madman who talks about nothing whilst trying to make it sound interesting. I’m also going to have to do a lot of writing as I want to catch up with all the post I’ve missed… which is a lot. Off we go into the post then)

Hello again, I’m back! Not that I really left. I’ve been over on Twitch and Twitter mainly. So I’ve got lots of plans for social media stuff and am keeping myself busy. I know this shouldn’t be a diary type thing. Those can be boring. Especially mine seen as nothing much really happens in my life… honest!

I will be starting an Instagram account this week… yay! Please feel free to follow me on all my different accounts. It sounds like it’s all me me me (meme, har har) but I promise you it will all be entertaining… like a train wreck is entertaining. Tune in to watch a fully grown man go slowly insane. (Edit: That’s a laugh)

I’ve said before that: “Waldowski” is a character of mine and he is. However, my own personality seems to be… “shining” through in his work… or my work I suppose.

(12/8/17 (Edit: English style date)):

Right, so I wrote the top part a few days ago (Thurs 10/8/17 I think) and now I’m coming back to this. I’m going back to my old schedule and goals and adding a few things. When I do Twitch streams, which should be everyday. TWITCH STREAM ERRYDAY *AIRHORNS* I may do longer than an hour. I just bought Assassin’s Creed Origins too so stay tuned for that, exciting stuff! (Edit: I literally just bought it because I forgot to enter the discount code. What a mess!)

I was watching a vid earlier about Michael Jackson’s involvement in creating the music for Sonic 3. It was very interesting and I have heard about this before. The whole thing is pretty much confirmed now but it’s interesting to follow all the theories and research that’s been done into this. I won’t reiterate what’s already been said but I will link the recent vid on the subject. There are links in there too so hopefully I haven’t sent you into a research, insomniac inducing frenzy of a pit of information where you’re just holding a steaming cup of coffee with straggly hair and bloodshot eyes just looking for your next fix on that Michael Jackson/Sega music conspiracy… and breathe. Sorry for that long sentence, I got carried away.

Okay I’m back writing this again on 13/8/17. I’m going to finish this post tonight! I’m watching Key and Peele again. Those guys are funny, anyway, what I’m doing is writing out four pages by hand with my brilliant Parker fountain pen… okay… I think I’ve really lost it. I’m coming back out of retirement (secret link of more Key and Peele I didn’t post on twitter) (Edit: I put it in the Research section below too. Also, thanks to Philip DeFranco for the idea of a secret link. What fun!)

More plans are a: “Let’s Read” YouTube channel called: “Waldowski Reads”. I still have to get a few things to set that up first. It will be much like a let’s play channel but with me trying to read a book… funny, eh?

This kinda reminds me of when I’d do work at University. I’d have to set goals, plan things, etc… I have been doing this but falling behind lately. In any case none of that matters now. I’ve gotta move on and get on with actually doing stuff.

So, everything’s planned out for a little while for me. Anything happening out there? (apart from all the bad news of course. I already know about that stuff) I genuinely mean it too with following me on social media. I try to talk to as many people as I can nowadays.

Blergh, how did I do this before? A few months ago I’d bang out 1,000 words like it was nothing.

Oh my God, I totally forgot, Na Wri Mo (Edit: Almost, but it’s Na NO Wri Mo because it happens in November) is happening soon. Ugh, I’d always wanted to try it for years. What I’m worried about is one whether what I write will be any good, if I stick to it (quitting will feel like a massive failure for me) and if I’ll take it seriously (nothing should, I suppose) (Edit: Kinda gave up on the numbering of reasons, didn’t I ?) but I’ve had a tendency to let things travel into the realm of ridiculousness before… hmn, maybe that’s a good thing? It might turn out silly and fun for once. I’m not putting “The Vague Chronicles” in there either. Maybe the characters can crossover, I dunno.

It’s pretty much 12:00am as I write this. I’m gonna get it finished before I sleep anyway. So it’s four sides of handwritten A4 pages… did I already write that?

In any case, I keep liking vids on YouTube but they don’t stay liked (random I know but what else can I write… look at this shit. How the fuck is my Na Wri Mo (Edit: Pleb) project going to look? I don’t even have a plan Jesus Christ. Also yes I’m swearing… I’ve been drinking a little bit too. I’m not an example of how life should be lived… this is just an account of how I’m living mine)

Shit, I’m supposed to disappear. Well, at least in novel writing I am. Writing is about the characters not me, at least that what I’ve been told. I’ve also been told: “Write what you know”.

Back again. Been distracted by life. In… anyway what I was saying was ugh… it doesn’t matter I’m not supposed to be in the story, my characters are… but why do I become them sometimes? I have to… that’s the point.

Damn, look at this, I’m letting myself get distracted at every turn. It’s 4:04 in the morning and I haven’t finished. I’ll have to type all this up tomorrow. Hello me! Weird right? You’re typing this up and I’m talking to you. (Edit: … yes very… I hope I get back to the point, whatever it was)

So, seriously. I dunno. This pen is kinda cool, right? Tired AndwewsiesTM. This will go up on Tumblr. I know I’m irrelevant at the moment. So drunk WHO CARES ABOUT THAT!? Nevermobf.

So, Assassin’s Creed Origins is coming soon… in October. Hopefully I’ll be ready to do a let’s play/stream hey I might even do an unboxing. It’s a collector’s edition with a figure and other stuff too. I’ll do it like the vid I’m showing someone now. Wink wink. (Edit: It was just me reading the handwritten version out… HUSHIES) She gets to see the handwritten stuff. This is her day after all! The best fan/troll anyone could ever hope for.

Gosh my writing is getting bad, so drunk. I’m okay of course. Oh! So there’s like four things I think I have to link in this “blog”. Um, the Michael Jackson Sonic 3 vid, the music from the Jetzons associated with that, the Key and Peele vid, oh and finally the AC Origins pic.

Week beginning 30/01/2017:

This week I finished my project proposal, as well as creating my timeplan for the next weeks. A time plan is going to help me keep on track, and stop my blog from fading away. It will also help me to keep creating and updating my blog, to keep it fresh and readable to anyone, anywhere, anytime.

Target for the next week:

-keep blogs in mind whiles online and using social media, deeper my thoughts whiles on social media and blogs, to analysis my other competitors and get ideas.  

Week beginning 06/02/2017:

For the duration of this week I have been researching some music blogs online, all of the same level as mine and higher, this was to get me some inspiration for theme, name, layout and content. Every blog was different and unique, although included bits and pieces that i’d like to try and include in mine.

Targets for the next week;

-start thinking of blog names and themes i’d like to try out.

Week beginning 13/02/2017:

This week I reached out to a music blog called “one unique” asking for some tips - got offered a guest blog post spot on her website. I also starting to research “what makes a good blog” to get some starting tips, and help me come closer to creating my blog.

Targets for the next week;

-start planning together a theme.

-map out some general ideas to paper.

Week beginning 20/02/2017:

This week I created my blog, creating my name, theme, and overall “look”. It took some time getting used to tumblr, and having to play around with features to get my blog how I wanted to, although i’m still figuring it out, the basic pages and layout is complete and ready for me to get posting.

Targets for the next week:

-make a list of things to review for the following 2 - 3 months

-get a draft for my first post done.

Week beginning 27/02/2017:

This week I made my first blog post. Creating a “welcome to my blog” as a starter and then posting my review of All time low’s new single (Dirty Laundry).  I also posted some photos from The HUNNA gig back in January (both of these posted on the 28th). On the 1st of march I posted my March playlist, from my spotify account, just some of the songs that i’m currently enjoying and listening to frequently. On the second of march i posted photos from Two Door Cinema Club gig back in February. And lastly for this week I wrote a post about Elyar, an artist previously known as Elyar Fox, who has suddenly come back after a 2-3 year break from the music industry.

Whiles posting these I also promoted myself on twitter to gain some readers, and hopefully start building a back-support for my blog.

To my surprise, Elyar replied to my blog post via twitter (this also helped with readers). To promote myself even more I followed tumblrs with similar interests in which i’ll be writing about to get people interested in my blog.

Week beginning 06/03/2017:

This week I uploaded three times. Ed Sheeran's new album (posted on 08/03/2017), A review of a Couch Live gig (posted 11/03/2017) And I also posted photos from an All time low concert 10/03/2017 (posted 11/03/2017) . During this week I also continued to promote myself on twitter. I also created an email address for my blog, and a twitter and instagram, however i’m not keen on this idea and haven’t used them much.

Targets for the next week:

Upload at least 2 times

Continue to promote my page.

Find out what platforms I enjoy the most and start focusing on that.

Week beginning 13/03/2017:

This week I managed to upload two times on my blog. First was an All Time Low gig review  (posted 16/03/2017) and the second was a High tyde gig review (posted 19/03/2017). As well as other weeks i've been promoting myself on twitter often, and have been trying to gain more readers.

This week I also tried out my new social media accounts although i’m not a huge fan of it. I prefer using my own accounts, this is also easier as I already have followers, and my friends can then see it and be supportive. I think for the minute these accounts will be hidden away, although not deleted as I might try them again in the future.

Continue to promote my new uploads on social media

Week beginning 20/03/2017:

This week something amazing happened. A guy called Ace Jetzon reached out to me on tumblr messages on 23rd march and asked me to review his work. Which for me is great considering my blog hasn’t been up for a month yet. Obviously I agreed, we exchanged some emails and I wrote about him on my blog as part of a new segment I called “It's time for a talk” where I basically just talk about things I like / dislike about artists, new things they’ve released and their past e.t.c. although apart from that I had three uploads, the first being high tyde photos from their gig I had previously reviewed (posted 20/03/2017), second one being a “it’s time for a talk” on artist Matt Wills, where I wrote about his new single “Emily” and touring with Bastille, as well as some previous times since i’ve supported him (uploaded 23/03/2017) and the final upload being my “it’s time for a talk” on Ace Jetzon (posted 26/03/2017).

As well as this I continued to tweet about my blog and new uploads, with having a reply from Matt Wills about his “It’s time for a talk” helping me with more readers.

Week beginning 27/03/2017:

This week I managed to upload two posts, One was my All Time Low photos from their gig on the 31/03/2017 (uploaded 01/04/2017). And my second post was my april playlist (also uploaded on 01/04/2017). Like always I would post on twitter to let people know there was new posts, and in hope to get some followers or readers.

Whiles posting about my April playlist, a band on the playlist “indigo husk” retweeted and Favourited my tweet, as well as a member from another band “high tyde” favourited it.

Week beginning 03/04/2017:

This week I had two uploads, the first one being my All Time Low gig review (uploaded 05/04/2017) and the second one being another “It’s time for a talk” about Elyar (uploaded 08/04/2017) - who i’ve previously wrote about last month. To my surprise Elyar responded about my post via Direct message on Twitter. Again I continued to promote my blog via twitter, As well as adding in my blog link to my instagram bio, for friends to view it.

I also started to look at my blog in the future and had to make a decision whether to keep it or ditch it.

My targets for the future:

Stay true to my blog, write about things that excite me and keep it my own.

Be positive and open to improvements

Continue to post and promote

Plan ahead, keep on-track of targets / blog posts and grow as a blog.
