hey there, the name’s den/sun! i’m a filipino artist with too many ideas and too little sleep! i mainly post and draw ace attorney, haikyuu, and disco elysium with the occasional dungeon meshi drawing.

old answer: i use clip studio paint ex! as of 06/24/2023: i use clip studio paint pro v3 for illustrations and clip studio paint v1 ex for animatics

what brush do you use?

old answer: i mainly use the gasa gaya line pen for sketching and the t-pen for both sketching and inking as of 09/22/2023: i use the koya pen for sketching and inking and the gasa gaya line pen for inking occasionally. as of 12/19/2023: i use the a pen that feels like a pencil (鉛筆を感じる液だまりペン) with the pen pressure opacity turned on for sketching (i also use it for inking occasionally). i don’t ink that much right now but i still also use the gasa gaya line pen for it. as of 03/07/2024: i use both the a pen that feels like a pencil (鉛筆を感じる液だまりペン) and calish ink for both sketching and inking. as of 07/08/2024: i use the dry ink brush on clip studio paint.

do you do commissions?

- Firstly, transfem Riddle has my heart so there's that.

- She and Cater have to work together to dye her hair every time it needs touch ups. It's a huge pain in the ass but she likes how it looks and Cater is fine helping.

- Has acne and uses those cute lil star and heart cut-out patches to cover it.

- She LOVES bright colours and has way too much fun prepping for the tea parties. Owns a ton of weird and neat lil earrings that she likes to mix and match.

- Also has ADHD. I feel like that's obvious lol.

- Twisted from the White Rabbit, and a super creative name I know... I don't have a ton of explanation here other than I thought it would look neat.

- She's autistic too and gets extremely anxious whenever she's late or someone else is late (Adeuce constantly give her heart attacks because of this).

- She's also a part of the track and field club!

- Last girl and she's based on Lock from The Nightmare Before Christmas movie. Spoiler, she is one of three triples, I assigned them to different houses, and they have an older sister based on the Boogeyman.

- It's been a hot second since I've seen this movie so I can't remember much about the kiddos' characterisations but my dad said Lock was the brains of the of operation so she gets book smarts.

- Also, her name is a silly little joke on 'loch-ness' because I was too lazy to try and find something else.

Annabelle Pham was born in San Jose, California and raised in an Asian immigrant household in South San Francisco. Growing up working class, her parents encouraged her to pursue her education while also helping raise her sickly younger brother, RJ. Playing softball and being a bit of a rebel, despite her shortcomings, Annabelle had the opportunity to attend an Ivy league college on a partial scholarship, which she rejected after her father's restaurant was vandalized and robbed.

Rather than use the money for school, she pushed her family to use it to repair their restaurant. Annabelle would choose to attend a 2 year college in a CTE program since it was more affordable, working part time in her family's restaurant while she searched for new employment.

While job searching, she became curious about the recruiters office in her neighborhood, and next thing she knew, she was in the army (much to her mother and father's disappointment.)

At some point, then Private Annabelle "Kit" Pham would meet CIA Station Chief Kate Laswell while fighting alongside SAC/SOG officer Alex Keller. Impressed by the young woman's resolve and improvisation, Laswell would choose Anna as one of the three women she'd first suggest to join Taskforce 141 to John Price.

While hiding from enemy forces who'd kidnapped her in a foreign city, Annabelle's quick thinking kept her alive while her teammates were delayed on their rescue.

Anna got her callsign "Gremlin" from her unpredictable and unhinged behavior thanks to her fellow Sergeant Kyle "Gaz" Garrick. Hiding in walls, crawling in vents and ambushing enemies easily thanks to her small stature and the old fashioned element of surprise.

Smart, resourceful and good with her hands, she's a loyal friend and a cautious person whose instincts are good if they aren't clouded by her own feelings. Anna is a hopeless romantic who wears her heart on her sleeve, which can be a good and a bad thing...Especially when a certain Commander seeks to exploit it.

Cheating Intuition: Just because he is smart does not mean he is too smart. Sometimes in written exams when he finds something very hard, he finds a way to cheat successfully without even noticing including spelling bees and trivia contests. However, most of his cheating style does not mean sabotaging rivals. Yet...

Military Combat: Tiger has never been and has no interest in military school. But when a hobo rescued him from female criminal gang who attacked him first as he was going about to go home. The hobo told Tiger that if he is interested in training military fighting styles to defend himself. However, one condition for him as payment is that all the hobo needs is just fast food. Because it was too tiring for a hobo to train him all the time and he needed the food. So, every time Tiger buys fast food for the hobo, he makes a deal to train.

Enhanced Concealment: Sometimes the trouble may come to him. When he is completely wanted by police, teachers, or prefects. Tiger can hide anywhere he go.

Lock picking: In his elementary years he stole a portable game console from a bully that the teacher confiscated. As for revenge, he managed to not just steal the confiscated game console but all the rest of the items too.

Weapons/Items: 

Guttersnipe (Custom-made expandable slingshot): An expandable ACME-made slingshot with a custom-painted cyberpunk theme that can fit like a pocket knife. It also has an attachable scope that was used to be part of a sniper rifle. This weapon is mostly nonlethal but can be lethal depending on which ammo.

The Romana: A Roman candle with a theme that looks like a Roman pillar that shoots firework balls if you press the shoot button like a magic wizard wand. It even gives extra damage when you swing and it has refillable Roman candle ammo.

Fireworks: Fireworks he uses are either homemade, store-bought or even secretly bought. Tiger can use more than 74 types of fireworks.

a. One small memory of mine that reminds me of warmth is when I read a book. Just recently, I started reading a new book and it's a Filipino book. Haven't read one in my native language for quite some time. The book is composed of short stories by common people inspired with real life happenings. I see lots of social issues discussed and other stuff that are prominent in my country's culture and practice. The warmth in this memory reminds me of appreciating the small things I have in life, the luxuries that have become a commonality to me that I don't as often realize how lucky I am to have these privileges. I'm not really sure if it classifies as warmth but it strengthened the ideology I already have of these things.

b. My favorite colors are pink and white. I've always liked white since it seems so clean and fresh to me. Also, when wearing outfits, white fits with everything. As for the color pink, this is something I grew to love on as I became more in touch with my femininity and it's a really pretty color tbh. Haha.

c. I think the emoji I would assign to you is this: 🌙. I chose the moon because you seem peaceful and at the same time you hold a level of depth that makes people drawn to you.

Ahhh short stories... Sometimes, you'll realise that short paragraphs can hit you more than long stories do. I think it's because of how short and simple those sentences are, which brings out the severity and resonance within us. Pink and white!! ‘CELEBRATING A LITTLE SUCCESSES’

I don't know how to start this, but I am Ace Gallarde, 5-foot ang 7 inches tall., 16 years old, born on July 23, 2006. I am just a simple Filipino citizen and a senior high school student. I don't know how I am going to describe myself because I don't know him that much. People see me as a serious and quiet guy, but that's going too far when I am with the people that I am comfortable with. In our family, we are seven; I have three brothers and a sister; we live a simple life; we eat 2-3 times a day; and we have a decent place to live. I am the type of person who likes to cook and go to peaceful places. I used to do cycling and use my pedal like a wind during the pandemic and go to the places using your own strength, but when face-to-face classes started, and that's one of the reasons why I gave up cycling, I stopped riding my bicycle to focus on my study. Besides that, my main hobby as of now is going to the gym and lifting as much as I can to forget all the problems for 2 hours straight. Going to the gym and destroying your body every day is not good for everyone's health, but for me, when I go to the gym, all the voices in my head suddenly disappear, and all I feel is serenity. It is a place where I think I belong.

How are you? A common question of the people I haven’t seen for a long time, but I always respond and say I’m ok, but the truth is I’m having the biggest battle against myself every day, a battle where you’re the only one who can solve it. Everything happens for a reason. Life puts us down only so we can get back up for the better things. Live life, forgive and forget, and let go of the past. Don’t destroy a new day thinking about the bad things that happened yesterday or in the past. In the past few years, a lot has happened. These past few months, I challenged myself to stay out of my comfort zone, and I started doing the things that my future self will be proud of. It takes time, but things will get better because the beginning is always the hardest. I’ve started to train my body and mind. I started going to the gym and putting my body into pain for about 1-2 hours a day. Not only will the gym train your body, but it will also train your mind to be consistent. It is hard, but it does get easier every day. But I have to do it every day. That is the hardest part. I don’t care who is doing better than me because I am doing better than I was last year. These past months, I started doing the things that I don’t want to do. It is not going to be fun for me because doing the things I don’t want to do every single time makes me uncomfortable. It is hard, but I need to fight the laziness. But it is ok because doing the things that make you uncomfortable leads to growth, and growth leads to improvement. I believe all these things will have a lifetime benefit for me, and I believe that one day I will be at the place where I always wanted to be. Furthermore, the weakness I discovered about myself was that I am afraid of failure, but as of now I am more afraid of not even trying. While the strength that I discovered about myself is that I can now accept failures because accepting failures means giving myself another opportunity to improve and be better,

Dear my future self, I promise that I will make you proud no matter what happens. Keep doing exactly what you have been doing, I know you have been switching back and forth from your old self to your new self, please don’t give up and be strong. I don't want you to get impatient. Southeast Asian Games 2023

The 2023 Southeast Asian Games, also known as the 32nd SEA Games, is scheduled to be held in Cambodia. It is a multi-sport event that brings together athletes from countries in Southeast Asia to compete in various sports. The exact dates and list of sports for the 2023 SEA Games have been announced on May 5-17 2023 and will be held in Phnom Penh Cambodia, it is expected to include many popular sports such as athletics, swimming, football, and basketball, as well as traditional Southeast Asian sports. The announcement was made at the Southeast Asian Games Federation Council meeting in Singapore, in conjunction with the 2015 Southeast Asian Games, by the President of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, Thong Khon.

The Philippines was originally scheduled to host the game, but was pushed forward to 2019 after Brunei withdrew to host the event. This is the first time that Cambodia hosts the games, as the 3rd Southeast Asian Peninsular Games in 1965 was canceled due to the political situations in the country at the time. The event was planned to feature 40 sports. The final number is 37 sports. All 11 members of the Southeast Asian Games Federation (SEAGF) are expected to take part in the 2023 SEA GAMES. There's are the list of all the participating and delegates: Brunei (65), Cambodia (896) hosts, East Timor (90), Indonesia (599), Laos (576), Malaysia (677), Myanmar (341), Philippines (860), Singapore (558), Thailand (846), and last is the Vietnam (702).

Allyssa Valdez was tapped as the Philippines flag bearer during the opening ceremony of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games last Friday at the 60,000 seat Morodok Techo Stadium in Phnom Penh Cambodia. Valdez will lead an all-female Philipiine delegation during the parade of nations. The POC President Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino said that Allyssa best fits our goal of an almost all female delegation in the opening ceremony. “She’s not only the face of the Philippines volleyball but Philippines sports as well”. Carrying the country’s colors is nothing new for Valdez, who was also the flag bearer back in the 2015 Games held in Singapore. “It’s such an honor to be the flag bearer for

this year’s SEA games. It’s a big responsibility but I'm grateful for the trust given to me once again” said Valdez, the captain of the Philippines women’s volleyball team.

There are some of the players in the Philippines who win with a gold, silver, and bronze medal: Ej Obiena wins third straight gold, he clenched his third gold in the men’s pole vault at the SEA GAMES with a new meet record of 5.65m. He beat the previous record of 5.46m he set in Vietnam last year. Xiandi Chua delivers Philippines swimming first gold medal, Xiandi won the country’s first swimming gold in record breaking fashion after the women’s 200m backstroke (2:13.20). Chua broke the SEA GAMES record and best teammate Chloe Isleta record as the Philippine swim team won a silver medal (2:16.19). Filipino mixed martial arts veteran Robin Catalan reigned supreme in the kun bokator men’s 50 kg category, defeating Indonesia's Ada Permana in the gold medal fight. The 32-year-old Catalan beat Cambodia’s Sovan Nang by narrow decision to beat Permana in the semifinals score (58-52, 18-13, 22-28) for gold.

Carlos Yulo once again proved his leadership in Southeast Asian gymnastics, completing the men’s individual all-around triple with a total score of 84. Thanh Tung Le and Phuong Thanh Dinh of Vietnam took silver and bronze with overall scores of 80.45 and 78.15 respectively. Meanwhile, Vietnam beat the Philippines in the men’s team event for the second consecutive year with a gold medal total of 313 points. The five member Filipino crew of Yulo , Juancho Miguel Besana, Ivan Cruz, Jan Gwynn Timbang and Justine Ace de Leon took home the silver again with a combined score of 305.25.

The Philippines men’s volleyball team beat Singapore 25-23 ,23- 25, 25-22, 25-23 at the crucial moment to finish fifth in the group stage. Jade Disquitado and Fil-Am Steve Rotter had the biggest hits, but it was Javi Sumagai’s rejection at the net that sealed the Filipino’s fate. Singapore's straight set win on Saturday paved the way for the Philippines, who are winless in pool, to enter the classification stage. The Philippines men’s volleyball team bows out at 5th. Ariana Evangelista added another gold medal to her illustrious Filipino career by finishing second in the women’s mountain bike race at

the prestigious Angkor Wat. The Ilogga rider was behind Indonesia Dara Latifah and ahead of Thailand Warinthorn Phetpraphan Evangelista also won a bronze medal as part of the mixed team relay in the cross-country mountain bike event.

The karate quartet of Junna Tsukii, Jamie Lim, Remon Misu and Arianne Brito won the silver medal for the Philippines in women’s kumite after losing 2-0 to Vietnam in the final. Vietnam wins with 9 points in yuko, successful mid or advanced punches are worth one point per punch. Thi Huong Dinh, Thi My Tan Hoang, Thi Ngoan and Thi Thuong Truong gave the Vietnamese another gold medal. The Philippines retained the title of triathlon king in the region after dominating the event for the fifth time in a row. Fernando Casares won the men’s title for the second straight time in the swim bike-run event with a time of 58:33.5, securing a dominance behind Nikko Huelgas (2015, 2017) and John Leerams Chicano (2019) to retain the country’s laurels. Andrew Kim Remolino (59:55.5) also won bronze for his country behind Indonesia silver medalist Rashif Amira Yachen (58:47.7)

[The World Tour comes to Asia, and like with the previous stops in Europe and North America, it’s not as if the Creature Codex hasn’t already done a lot of Asian monsters. So I am going to be mixing it up between familiar mythoi (yokai, Filipino mythology, The Guideways Through Mountains and Seas) with some less familiar ones. Like the lore of Balochistan, one of the provinces of Pakistan. The Mum of Quetta is a local bogeyman with roots in the late 19th century, when Quetta became a site of British imperial attention. A quettamum is a particularly bestial offshoot of lamias. They are sometimes mistaken for sphinxes, which they closely resemble. Indeed, some sages believe that quettamums are hybrids of sphinxes and lamiae, although the quettamums deny this violently. Quettamums are cruel hunters, lurking around the margins of settlements in order to catch and eat children, their favorite food.
