Omg im. Posting a full piece of art again?!?!!! And i tried sum with the game mechanics! I did some research and i got to the conclussion that... Blakc locks fitted Kimi just perfectly. And they wont be easy to break.

“ sure thing kid! What’s the matter? ” Kimi hummed as he smiled, placing down the paper work he was holding. He didnt seem to be off for paternity as hes supposted to, now that he has a newborn son with him. Which is... Weird. He should be resting after all hes been out through, and yet he was still there, suprisingly standing. His smile was gentle and his head tilted softly as he leaned back against his desk.

“ don’t be scared, i dont bite ” he said playfully, as to ease up the tension that was present in the air between the 2 of them.

Aaand before i make myself think i mischaracterised my fav characters again, i'll point out that Agent Smith doesn't really do Agent Walker's paperwork all by himself. He actually gives most of it to his department's employees. Why is he like this.

...another thing i forgot to point out in the last post prequeling this one, Agent Walker's videogames got confiscated and won't be returned until he finishes his current paperwork!! (They found out he was making his employees do his paperwork. like Agent Smith over here...)

another one from last year lol every now and then I try to push past the typical expressions that I do when I draw. I've always enjoyed looking at frames of cartoon characters making some ridiculous face because I know SOMEBODY had to sit down and draw that face, so I try to mimic/capture the same feel when I do these.

Jay Walker sounds like a name straight out of ace attorney

My working title for the platonic Edgeworth & Gumshoe fic is "You Never Forget." My explanation might get a little long because I wrote a lot of notes about this one!

It starts off with Edgeworth working on a case in his office, waiting for Gumshoe to bring him files from Criminal Affairs.

As Edgeworth is trying to piece together a case, an earthquake hits and he passes out (despite his best efforts not to. There's even a moment where he sees an image of Gregory before he faints.)

Gumshoe knows Edgeworth doesn't do well with earthquakes, so he rushes through the hallway to try and reach him as fast as possible.

Gumshoe finds Edgeworth unconscious and helps to wake him up and take care of him in the aftermath of his panic attack.

Edgeworth expresses his gratitude in a roundabout way, but he gets there in the end.

Edgeworth goes on to mention how he could never forget DL-6 or completely move on from it, and Gumshoe says he understands, because he could never forget his first time in court either.

Edgeworth is curious about this first time in court, and Gumshoe tells him a story he hasn't told many people: about the time he took to the witness stand when he was only 12 years old.

Gumshoe had seen the drive-by shooting of Uncle Jay (full name Jay Walker), his close family friend and mentor who taught him all about gadgets.

Edgeworth recognizes they have something in common: they each lost someone important to them in a case that would change their lives forever.

The two of them resolve to solve as many cases as they can going forward, in hopes of granting closure to other survivors left behind (just like them.)

Someday I hope I will have the time, energy and focus to actually make this into a proper fic, because I still think about it quite a lot! It gives me a good cozy feeling to have these two reach an understanding like this.

I really, really like that. As someone who also witnessed the killing of someone close to me, I really like how you've made it into something the two of them can bond over. I won't get any more personal than that, I just wanted to express my appreciation for your story.

The title is something else I appreciate, too. Both of their traumatic events happened so, so long ago, and yet sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday. Even when you've healed from it, you never forget.

Cole Laedee-Wilson - oldest son of Manfred von Karma. Museum director. Married Wendy Laedee-Wilson. Has a daughter, Lillian, and a son, Peter. Estranged from his father and has little to no contact with his younger, half-sister, Franziska. Was more or less disowned by Manfred for refusing to take after him and practice law. Had some minimal contact with his father after the birth of each of his children, but otherwise, hasn’t spoken to him in years.

Wendy Laedee-Wilson - Cole’s wife. Museum curator. Has two children, Lillian (daughter) and Peter (son).

Duana (pun on 2nd) von Karma nee Kaiser - Manfred’s second wife, Franziska’s mom. Deceased. Was also an attorney. Died due to complications from childbirth. Franziska greatly resembles her.
