1,3,4,5,6,13,14,19,20,24 for the inquisitor meme? 👀🔍
Oh, thanks. :’)
Uhh, I’ll try and split these up between Accalia and Evelyn. Odds for Evelyn, Evens for Accalia.
1. What is your Inquisitor’s name & race?
Evelyn Trevelyan, human female!
3. What do they look like? (add screenshots, drawings, descriptions!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(this lovely icon comes from a drawing made by @artesiant)
4. How did they feel about being called “The Herald of Andraste”?
Oh, man, Accalia is so uncomfortable. It leaves her skin crawling because she doesn’t believe in the Maker, but she, like Evelyn, believes in the stuff Andraste did; she doesn’t believe she’s a higher being now, though. So being told that she’s the Herald for this dead woman who’s supposedly the bride of this almighty God is like, really nerve wracking and Accalia would much prefer her Creators.
5. What are their religious beliefs, if they have any?
None, lmao.Evelyn’s just like fuck religion.
6/ What is their opinion on the Mage/Templar war?
It terrifies the shit out of Accalia even though she wasn’t a part of it when it broke out. Even though she wasn’t the most experienced mage, she was still safe in her clan, away from templars. And then, when she’s dubbed the Herald of Andraste, she finds out more information about the war, only vaguely knowing about it beforehand. She finds that it was inevitable but its scale is larger than it should be and all the innocents caught in it don’t deserve to have this be a part of their lives. Dealing with the templars scares the hell out of her because she knows of their abilities, and she’s scared about how that could be her downfall. And at the same time, the apostates scare her because they are likely to be far more skilled in magic than she is.
All-in-all, Accalia thinks that the war was going to happen no matter what, but both sides are at fault for bringing it to this scale and endangering the lives on countless innocents.
13. How do they feel about the Chantry?
Initially, Evelyn had no problem with it until she questioned her belief. That’s when she began reading from outside sources, finding out the different interpretations of certain things. And as she grew older, she just moved farther and father away from the reach of the Chantry, mentally. Because even though she didn’t agree with the Chantry’s teachings, she was still living with her family, therefore she still had her close ties to it. However, Evelyn tried to use those close ties to her benefit, all while still maintaining her disbelief and her opinions.
14. Which demon is most frightening to them?
Fear. That demon will literally make Accalia unable to fight by playing off her nightmares and fears; it’ll toy with her concerns and insecurities, making her overly-thought-out scenarios seemingly come to life thus definitely eliciting the response it wants from her.
19. Did they use the templars or the mages to close the breach?
Evelyn used the aid of the templars!
20. What was their court approval like at the winter palace? did they have any fun at all?
(Since I haven’t hit that quest with Accalia, I’ll be answering for Evelyn.)
Evelyn actually came out with full approval! Being a noble helped give her a good start and have knowledge of how the Game worked. She pulled strings in her favor and knew what to say to remain coy.
Overall, Evelyn found the whole thing to be tiring. She didn’t get to have as much fun as she wanted thanks to Florianne’s bullshit and politics in general. After the whole ordeal, she was just so fucking exhausted but glad that it was over. Her only dance was the one with Florianne and looking back at it now makes her stomach turn because she was the mastermind behind everything.
But then Cullen came in and invited her to dance, which Evelyn found pleasantly ironic since he unintentionally turned her down on instinct because “templars don’t dance”. They shared a lovely dance together on the balcony, away from the peering eyes of the Orlesian court.
24. What is their opinion on blood magic? Would they ever use it, if given the chance?
Like most things, it frightens Accalia. She thinks it’s sickening to an extent, but that’s possibly because her knowledge of it was only from her Keeper. When she learns more about it, it becomes somewhat intriguing to her? She considers blood magic to be a blade; it can be used for good (using it to defend and save others) or for bad (using it to harm and/or kill people).
She might even try to figure out if there’s a way for blood magic to be used in helping people who may be bleeding internally or just losing a lot of blood.
If given the chance, Accalia would consider it; she’d be like Merrill, using her own blood and being revolted by the thought of using the blood of someone unwilling to be a part of it.

ooohhhhh, Poison for Accalia?
OC Ask Meme
Poison: Vices/bad habits? What are they? How do they affect your OC?
Shyness would definitely be one of Accalia’s vices. Obviously, this affects Accalia in the sense that she has a hard time opening up to people, or even meeting people in general.
A bad habit of hers would be senselessly beating herself up over little failures. It hinders any progress she makes but also gives her incentive to do better the next time.
She also gets overwhelmed quite easily! Poor girl can’t handle too many people trying to address her at once. It’ll get to the point where she just blocks people out instinctively as her mind goes into panic mode and she essentially becomes unaware of her surroundings.
She loses control over what she’s doing or saying and in most cases, it winds up with her either going totally silent and becoming unresponsive or trying to get away from people in some way and being unaware of what she does or says to those who continue to try and press her.

Dragon age companion ask: 4, 15, 23, 20, and 8 for whoever.
Aahhh! Thank you, Anon! I’ve been busy lately so I’m glad I have time to sit down and answer this!
My Inquisitor as a Companion Questions
Tumblr media
Inquisitor: Accalia Lavellan
4. What would their romance route look like? Would they be romancable?
This has been answered before! Here’s the answer!
8. What kind of Inquisitor would drive them to leave the Inquisition/confront them about their actions (what gets their approval low? what does that scene look like)?
Oh, man. Definitely anything regarding hurting innocents and enabling templars. Mistreatment of innocent mages and/or elves will definitely ruffle her feathers.
When the Inquisitor tries talking to her, the scene would start with Accalia pacing back and forth in the vault library and when the Inquisitor approaches her, Accalia stops and turns to them.
“You.”
“Me?”
“Yes, you. I-- I have something to tell you -- a bone to pick with you, even!”
“Let’s hear it, then.”
“Accalia, what is this about?”
“I don’t have time for this.”
“You..! You hurt people... and I get that some people need to be hurt, but you’re hurting people that don’t deserve it! Are you eyes working properly? Do you see something I don’t? A reason to hurt innocents? Or are you just what every mage fears?”
“And what’s that?”
“I can explain.”
“Pick your next words wisely.”
“...Don’t be an abomination. Please.”
If Romanced: “You... really think of me that way?” “I don’t want to, but that’s what happening..!”
If Inquisitor is a Mage: “If anyone is going to be considered an abomination, it should be someone with little to no control over their magic. Someone like you.” This brings major disapproval and if it puts her disapproval past the threshold that makes her leave, she’ll leave after this scene. Otherwise, she’ll stay and respond with, “...I’m sorry.”
“I’m sorry you see me that way. I’ll try to get my act together.” “Thank you.”
“I’m not sure what you’re talking about. I see nothing wrong with my actions.” “That’s what I was afraid of...”
“(threateningly) You’ve made a terrible mistake, Accalia.” Accalia looks visibly scared. “...I see.” Accalia would then leave the Inquisition permanently.
15. Without the influence of their decisions for the Inquisition, which of the companions do they get along with? Which ones do they bicker with?
Accalia would get along with Solas and Blackwall, but things might be strained between her and Sera, and she would not work well with Vivienne; in fact, Vivienne intimidates the hell out of her.
Cassandra would definitely scare the poor girl as well. Accalia might get along with Bull after she warms up to him!
Things would be relatively neutral with Dorian and Varric while Cole tries to help her and reassure her a lot.
#20 and #23 skipped as I have yet to play anything in the Jaws of Hakkon and Trespasser DLCs!

Hello, I am here to talk about Dragon Age OCs, BUT I'M TOO SHY TO DO IT! Tell me a random fact about one of yours, and I'll tell you a random fact about one of mine! :D
Accalia Lavellan is a very shy individual. Being Inquisitor, being the one at the top, is a living nightmare for her, especially with so many people seeing her. They see an elf, an apostate, who only shows half her face to the public, for she’s too insecure to show the other half, the scarred half. It’s not something you really expect from someone at the top of the Inquisition. :’)

6 and 9 for Evelyn, 13 and 20 for Tristin, 12 and 16 for Accalia, 1 and 23 for Asala. Hope it's not too much! :D
I can’t believe I accidentally refreshed the page and lost all that I wrote, I’m fucking screaming.
What’s my Inquisitor like as a companion?
Write some of their party banter (in reaction to major events, scenery dialogue, or just shitting around. Askers can specify for which character/event, or leave it up to the writer).
Sera and Evelyn banter regarding an Inquisitor romancing Evelyn:
Sera: You’re not that bitchy, y’know.Evelyn: What?Sera: Yeah! You look like you’d be a megabitch but I’ve seen you.Evelyn: Oh?Sera: You and the Inquisitor, being all mushy-gushy. It’s cute. And gross.Inquisitor: “Mushy-gushy” fits that description.
At Halamshiral, during Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts:
Evelyn: Hmm…Inquisitor: Something on your mind?Evelyn: Just wondering if I’ll see someone here.Inquisitor: Oh?Evelyn: A relative. She always did enjoy parties. If she is here and she sees me, I may be in need of your assistance. Inquisitor: And just what do you mean by my “assistance”?Evelyn: My… darling relative is an avid cheek-pincher…Inquisitor: Say no more.
Where in Skyhold would they be found? (e.g. Cole is in the tavern rafters, Leliana in the top of the tower, Varric in the throne room, etc.)
Evelyn would definitely be found in the Skyhold garden, possibly somewhere around the well or the gazebo.
If the Herald didn’t have them tag along to prep the trebuchets, what would they do during the battle for Haven? (bonus: would they join in on the impromptu Dawn Will Come choir practice in the camp?)
While Tristin wouldn’t have been prepping the trebuchets, he would have been attacking from a distance or helping people seek shelter in the Chantry. He uses his magic to cauterize open wounds.
And he really wouldn’t join in on the singing. He understands the sentiment, but it’s not something he’d join in on.
Do they believe the Herald of Andraste is really the Herald of Andraste?
It’s really hard for Accalia to decide! She doesn’t worship the Maker or Andraste, per se, but she still believes that they exist. If something like the Creators exist, why wouldn’t Andraste or the Maker exist? She wants to be believe the Herald was sent by Andraste, but at the same time, she believes that it was just fate or chance.
What would the Fear Demon say to them in the Fade to try and discourage them?
“There is no point, little elf. You will give in to the demons, lose what miniscule control you had over your magic, and destroy all of those who were foolish enough to trust you.”
If not for the Conclave, what would drive your character to join the Inquisition?
Asala would join the Inquisition because she wants to help and being a mercenary only does so much. She wants to help make a difference and put her skills to better use.
