PLOT: Monsters in this world use musical instruments in fight and play individual music genre. Take Toriel for example. She use flute and classic music. When she playing on this instrument everybody who hear her music will be attacked (or happens something else that suits her magic). And when monsters singing lyrics along music, their attacks become intensifies. But not everyone can do that. Therefore those who can attack with lyrics are revered.

Frisk is child who cannot use magic. They met Flowey, who don't remember anything about past and they start adventure together. Frisk helps to Flowey remembering something about his life. Flowey helps to Frisk by protecting them from monsters and helping with attacks. They use a capella music in attacks.

A capella - music is a performance by a singer or a singing group without instrumental accompaniment

Dream job: Kinda doing it as an artist, but I’d also LOVE to work in art and historical artifact restoration and conservation. I was all set to do a degree in it when the Conservation Centre in Liverpool (which is my nearest) closed down and the World Museum Liverpool likewise withdrew it’s apprenticeship program in that field, so it stuffed up that plan. I’m still looking for unis etc that offer it but have yet to find one. But I’ve enrolled on the volunteer program in the museum to get a foot in the door- but Covid buggered that up. So I’m looking into a degree in Museum Studies which’ll help greatly, and possibly doing what I always planned to do post-grad Fine Art, Art History- a Masters in Art History

Dream trip: Iceland, all over Italy but especially Rome, Venice and Florence, New Zealand, Paris (again), Norway, India, Thailand...really just about anywhere in the world

Entering the music industry

Here it is! The first one shot of undermusic!! I hope you like it! This first one shot is just to introduce a bit of the world and characters. If you guys like it, I’ll write more in the future.

This was it, her first step towards a professional music career. The big building in front of her looked menacing yet full of hope for young Frisk.

Gaster Music Industries was one of the biggest record companies at the moment, and she was about to do her first interview with none other than the big man, or well, skeleton, himself.

 She had become famous with a viral music cover she did in her ebbott.com channel, and was thrilled when the email asking for an interview popped up in her mail.

She looked at the shiny glass doors of the building and took a deep breath. Filled with determination, she entered.

 Inside, a big bunny monster gave her a friendly smile from the front desk.

“Hello sweetie, do you have an appointment?”

“Hi. Yeah, I have a meeting with mister W.D. Gaster at 11...” she answered in a shy voice and looking at her fidgeting hands.

“At 11? You are really early dear, that isn’t until at least 40 minutes. You can wait over there on that lounge area until I call you”

“Thank you” she said quickly and sat down.

 Sans was late. He knew it but didn’t really care. After last night’s gig at Grillby’s, a couple of rounds of shots that his fans insisted to buy him and dancing till they closed, he had barely gotten three hours of sleep before his brother Papyrus called asking where he was. 

It’s not like it really mattered, he always did his job at the end, and was able to get a couple of hits a month. Even if he was always napping in the studio.

Just as he was getting into the building, his phone started buzzing with a video call.

“Yellow?” He said when he picked it up

“SANS, WHERE ARE YOU? YOU WHERE SUPPOSED TO BE HERE 15 MINUTES AGO FOR THE MEETING”

“Almost there bro, just have to go up the lift. I’ll be up in a minute, but you know that meetings aren’t my up of tea”

“SANS THAT WAS TERRIBLE, EVEN FOR YOU”

“Yeah yeah, meet you in a sec, bro”

Rising his eye sockets from his phone, looked around the lobby of the building, and decided he would grab a coffee first before the meeting, when a cute little lady sitting in one of the sofas got his interest.

“Hello there miss” he said when he approached.

Frisk jumped startled when the deep voice from the monster in front of her. She stared blankly at him, not knowing how to react.

“Hey, don’t you know how to greet a new pal?” He asked with a smile “come on, shake my hand. I don’t bite.”

She stood up to timidly shake his hand, but he instead kissed the back of hers with a bow.

“The name’s Sans, Sans the skeleton.”

“I-I’m Frisk”

“Frisk, uh? So, what’s a little thing like ya doing in-“

Suddenly, a buzzing from his pocket interrupted the monster. Pulling out his phone, he let out a sigh when he saw who the caller was.

“’Sup bro”

“BROTHER, WHERE ARE YOU? BUNNY TOLD ME YOU WHERE ALREADY IN THE BUILDING, THE MEETING IS ABOUT TO START”

Sans looked at the young girl in front of him, he smiled at winked at her while putting a finger in front of his teeth to tell her to be quiet.

“Bro? So..y can.. ot .ear.. you. ..O recept..on ..ere. ..All you …ater”

“SANS, IF THIS ANOTHER ONES OF YOUR JOKES I SWEAR-“

The skeleton hung up before his brother could finish shouting, and looked at Frisk, who was staring back with a surprised expression on her face.

“I swear, sometimes he’s like a general, a Napoleon Bone-a-part, if you will.” He said putting the phone back in his pocket.

Frisk giggled “Would that make you Alexander the late?” she giggled again at her own pun while Sans let out a big laugh, more relaxed now that the tension in the air was gone.

“I have to admit kid, that was humerus”

His smiled before he continued “Well, where was I? Oh yeah, what are you here for then, kid?”

“I have an interview with Mister Gaster”

“Oh, so you’re the one from the viral video, people say you sound pretty good. What was it about?”

“It was an acapella cover of a song. My channel is mainly about music covers. I do have a few original songs in the making, but nothing too good yet”

“Can’t wait to hear those” He looked at the time on his phone, “At what time is your interview?”

“It’s at 11, but I was so nervous I came very early”

Suddenly, her nerves came back again, a familiar knot formed in her stomach and she felt her knees weak. She started fiddling with the hem of her sleeve and looking around.

Feeling the tension, Sans rubbed the back his skull.

“Hey listen, I don’t care much about music covers, but, my brother, he is a big fan of music channels in ebott.com. It would really make his day to meet an internet celebrity, what do you say? I’ll make sure you get to your interview on time.”

“I’m not sure, my interview is very soon, and I don’t want to be late.” said Frisk

“Let’s just go to his studio, is on the way to W.D.’s office anyway” he said starting to go to the elevators’ doors. “It’ll be a moment, and then ill’t take ya myself to the big guy’s office”

After a few moments of consideration, Frisk quickly ran to where the skeleton was, just as the doors of one of the elevators where opening. She started fidgeting with the hem of her jumper.

Before she realized, they were stepping out of the elevator into a corridor with a few door, and a faint sound of music came from out of one of them.

“Weird, why is he practicing when we are supposed to be in a meeting?” Sans said to himself in a surprised tone “Guess we should go without knocking, he won’t hear us over the music”

Just before opening the door, he turned back to Frisk and said with a smile “It’s going to be just a few minutes, and then we’ll leave”

“And kid, don’t worry about your interview, I’m sure it’s gonna tibia okay” he added when he saw how nervous she was.

Bio: Sans started going back Tricks thanks to  paps. They didn't find out they were genderfluid until Their late teens. Even though they still call papyrus brothers, they are only Best childhood friend. They care for each other like siblings would.  Tricks sing Acapella style usually. Unless it’s  genocide, Rock music plays. When They sing acapella their gaster blasters appear and sing backup vocals and beat. They have their soul in their right eye instead of their chest due to   Fresh is their dad. They have a hard time understand emotions to the point they might glitch out. They try their best to work on their vocals but gets frustrated because they think their voice sounds too young and they can't write any good lyrics. You know how to control it more than I do, at least." The sweet moment is over instantly as he hears Red fall in the kitchen. "RED LEAVE MY DESERTS ALONE! Once you do he's hugging you tightly, giving you mountains of praise. --> Stretch: he walks behind you quietly once you stop. He breaks the moment of silence by breaking out singing Back in Black by ACDC- A human cd Undyne gave him. You turn to find him rocking the air guitar as he sings, and he's actually really good. You can't help but sing along, and he smiles at you as you sing together.
