"Volbeat, the Firefly Pokemon. Volbeats tail is primarily used for communication, glowing like a lightbulb. These lights are also used for impressing Illumise. However, from personal experience, Volbeat with the Prankster Ability seem to use their Tail Glows less to communicate with others and to charm Illumise, and more to cause mischief and mess for those around them. In a comforting note, these Volbeat seem to have a less interest in passing this ability and nature down to offspring, lessening the chances of these Volbeat becoming more common."

"....my Volbeat is one of these ones. Thanks Ikki." A flat tone of voice, it seemed to have caused trouble in his home.

"Oh? A sale you say? I would like to hear what that would be before i purchase if that's quite alright with you." Seraphina says, in a bit of a feigned excited tone. If it made sense, logically this girl would probably 'discount' it by just a hundred Poke or so. It made the most sense with how the deals are processed. She didn't need that many anyways.

Seraphina has to pause for a moment. So this random girl she just met is offering to give her tera shards for a price huh? Those had to be sought out from various means…..

“Except for Ground huh? Makes sense…..well, how much are you charging? I certainly want to know your prices before we make any decisions.”

This girl did feel kinda shady, but if she was in the business to sell things like Tera Shards, she probably could tell Seraphina had money just judging by her appearance and Shiny Glaceon. What a bother.

“Alright! I’m selling them for ₽8500 apiece, but you get a discount if you buy them in bulk.”

Considering their rarity that price seemed like a steal, but there was a catch. Tera Shards were only useful in bulk, after all, so by stating their individual price first and then suggesting a discount Mindy made them seem cheaper than they actually were.

It was an one-two punch of a plan. First she annoyed the hell out of people with her Gholdengo and Meowscarada, then she conveniently offered the solution to deal with them.

“Is that price alright with you?”

Miss Phina, how do you feel about your family's legacy?

“…..my family’s legacy is very important to them, like, very important. I’ve been training to become a strong trainer like them since I was a child. How do you think I feel about it?” She responded simply, it was pretty vague if you took her answer outright, but her tone of voice definitely showed her contempt for this whole ‘Legacy’.

Of course, she couldn’t outright say that though, could she?

My family actually knew Chairman Rose really well, I've met him before, because my parents are members of the minor league, but he always had a sleazy air about him. He didn't really seem to care much at all for the minor league gyms, hell, that much was obvious when you hardly see them broadcasted. When I began my adventure through the Galar Gym Circuit though, I only had one encounter with him prior to that whole 'Darkest Day' bullshit." "It wasn't anything special though, and that's the issue. He didn't really seem to see me as an actually competitor in the league. Like he already had his eyes set on whoever was gonna be champion or whatever. If I'll be honest, that, along with Team Yell's stupid blocking stuff made me really struggle with my journey.....I was really doubting myself if I could be an actual challenge to the others in the league. After all, he was basically the head of the League Committee, even Champion Leon was under his thumb! So...." "...."

"I hate him, the 'Darkest Day' fiasco at the finals of the Galar Cup was so crazy and dangerous, I'm lucky I had strong enough Pokemon to help protect myself and others who were around. And of course my family was there...not to support me, since I didn't complete my League Challenge quick enough...wait, sorry. That's pretty off topic isn't it? He's a scumbag, and I hope he's rotting in jail."

💭 for Harou about Calem

'Tall man! Tall friend! I can't wait for our rematch, and then we can tend to each others wounds again! It'll be a fun time!'

Harou had been waiting for this moment, as he hung from the signpost, by his legs upside down, he had heard that Calem's old 'friend' had been coming to visit and give his congratulations, and well, he had to admit with the duos previous history, Harou wanted to see what this guy was like for himself! He could see that this Haruki guy was coming down the road, towards where his boyfriends home was, and got himself ready. It shouldn't be that hard to talk to someone like this? Well, no more time for him to think, as his target walked towards him and greeted him with a compliment, Harou, like the gymnast he was meant to be, threw himself back on top of the signpost, sitting relatively comfortably, as he said.

"Thanks! I've practiced...never seen you around here though, what ya up to???" Harou questioned smoothly, as he jumped off the signpost, landing on the ground with no issue as he then looked up to Haruki, curiosity on his face.

Haruki was casually strolling through the streets of Coumarine, enormous pile of cotton candy in hand, to meet up with a friend that had recently fucking beaten the league and become champion, apparently, and catch up on their long list of new achievements.

Damn, how does stuff like that just happen? He swears half of his friend circle consists of champions and Elite 4 people, that’s a lot of talented people he just happens to know. Maybe he should put that on his resume!

It was then that he noticed something unusual. What’s with that pink thing just casually hanging from a signpost? When he gets a closer look he realizes that it’s no pink thing, it’s a whole-ass person just kinda perched there!

“Oh wow, you’ve got really good balance!”
