I dreamt my catholic religion teacher made us all tattoo an entire paragraph from the Lucas Evangelion onto our arm and I just did it without question.
#yapping#she‘s my favorite teacher but I hate doing groupwork in that course more than I already hate it#cus it‘s full of evil engineering dudes#Istg I used to hate groupwork back in the day too but it reached another level since fuckass ChatGPT was invented#like I do not use it it goes against every Fiber of my being#but when I do groupwork everyone just hands in ChatGPT shit and I literally just do their part myself bcs it‘s quicker than trying to fix#the nonsense that ai is spewing at me#yes we love having ethical consurns only in places where it affects us (aka art) but then deflect completely when it comes to using it#academically bcs it‘s convenient#IT‘S NOT#their brains are melting#they cant do a comprehension task#and ChatGPT cant do it neither#they literally get ChatGPT to reduce the notes I make to help them understand??? and like#it cannot be that you won‘t even try to understand it bcs if you actually engaged with the material and just language in general#you would not struggle to understand stuff like that#like critical thinking is a skill that is important for every single aspect of their lives#and when I see how they think about politics#how little they care about history#I am not suprised that even with a base amount of empathy they end up harming us all through their ignorance
