I am in no way against this idea. However I think we would do better … acquiring an AC-130U or Ghostrider if you want more guided munitions. But I think the should go with the AC-130U standard setup because it has more options for air to ground including 25mm cannons, 40 mm hi ex grenade launchers, 105 mm cannons, hellfire missiles and griffin A missiles which an be fired from the rear along with other defensive measures. It also has space for sleeping quarters and a microwave. And most importantly, it’s fuel efficient.
