Considering the fact that there are many recipes out there, you are left wondering which one is the best one to work with 🌈 . Therefore Today I want to share with you the recipe that has worked for me... 🌹 Icing sugar- 500g ☀ Gelatine powder- 1/2 tablespoon ☀ CMC- 1/2 teaspoon ☀ Boiled cool water- 1/6 cup ☀ Glucose - 1/4 cup 🌈 Sift icing sugar. Measure water,sprinkle gelatin on it, let it soak up. Stir till dissolved. Add glucose, mix. Measure CMC add to icing sugar. Add the liquid gradually into the powder.. Turn unto a flat surface. Knead properly till you get a smooth paste. . ☀ Feel free to use and share. Reposted from @rubycakesnsweets - Let's talk about Buttercream frosting/ icing this beautiful morning. .🍰 Its a type of icing for filling, coating and decorating cakes. It comprises of butter/ margarine/ shortening ( any can serve), icing sugar and flavor (s). . 🍰 There are varieties of buttercream such as the American/ Simple buttercream (commonly known), Meringue based( Italian and Swiss meringue butter cream), French buttercream etc .🍰 To make the Simple buttercream You will need the following: 500g icing sugar 250g Margarine 5ml vanilla flavor 1/4 cup of milk or water . 🍰 Beat the margarine in a bowl till soft. Sift icing sugar to remove lumps. Add the icing sugar gradually into the margarine. Mix well. Add flavor and water or milk to thin it down to the right consistency you need. . 🍰 Done..its ready for use.. Take note : if you are not using immediately store tight lid in the refrigerator. . See the picture above.. Its the Simple buttercream.. Don't just want to lick your screen. .
