My father loved apricots and plums, so he planted 2 apricot trees in the front yard and a couple plums trees in back with more than a couple different grafted varieties. Then there were all the other fruit and citrus trees. I ate green fruit, ripe fruit, rotting fruit, sulphur dried fruit and dried fruit without sulphur, various (mixed) fruit jams, etc. I didn’t realize then how lucky I was, but bits of that lucky childhood often come back , like while tasting this Abrikoos Rabarber Lambik from Oude Geuzestekerij De Oude Cam, which wasn’t overpoweringly fruity, rather a lambic with fruit; luckily not a tart bomb as I’ve tasted from De Cam in the past, but one that was nicely balanced. No complaints here.
