Since my other Nether worldbuilding post was received pretty well... I'm back on my bullshit!
This time featuring zoning and biomes of the Neath: Lore below cut
Nether (noun): the formidable hellscape straddling the boundery between the Fragments of the Overworld and Death's Realms.
Derived from Beneath -> Neath -> Neth -> Nether.
The Nether is most easily accessable through outer regions of the nether, regions that are comparatively closed-off, and lacking in biodiversity compared to the Deep Nether where most Neath civilizations are centered.
The Neth is divided into three primary zones, distinguished by altitude and general climates.
The Calfactory Zone: the largest and most icon of the three, the Calfactory zone is blisteringly hot and bone-dry, it's most prominent features are its abundant seas and lakes of magma, and the massive Supermagmas atriums that are common above the magma. In the largest of these atriums, the ceiling may be so high above as to be completely invisible from the ground, obscured by an ever present smog of toxic vapor and minerals formed in the self-generated micro-climates that are generated from the rising heat of the lava that begins to cool at a higher altitude.
In the Basalt Deltas and other biomes around the edges of these lakes, massive pillars of rock and crystals bulwark the more-visible ceiling.
The most common of this zone’s biomes is the Crimson woods, home to hearty thermal-philic fungi and plants that grow on the minerals and vapors of the lakes. Many are carnivorous in their lack of access to water or sunlight, and these forests contain many sub-biomes and ecosystems of flourishing life.
The Wastes are perhaps the most desolate regions of the Neath, irradiated deserts of red-rock, brimstone, and sharp sand. Even the vast majority of nether-folk avoid these deserts due to the leftover radiation that rots and destroys anything that waits too long. The only forms of life are particularly robust lichens and bacteria that are happy to sit by the pools of boiling pools of sulfur and mud and toxic sludge that dot the landscape. Growing within the rocks themselves are colonies of amorphous fungus, called geocorpus molds that get their spores into cracks in the soft netherack and slowly feed on it, a delicacy in nether cuisine.
The Temperate Zone: Cradled in the heights of the Neath’s atriums and sat bellow the roof is the temperate zones, the rising heat of the zone below begins to cool and forming distinct weather patterns in this zone and leaving it, while still sweltering, a cooler though much more humid climate.
The main biome are the luminescent warped-fungal rainforests that collect the high-rising minerals and odd moisture from the lakes. Liquid is actually precent here, though if it’s not safely filtered through the innards of the various plants and fungi, this water is usually aggressively corrosive, and it is best to shelter from the  acidic precipitation to avoid chemical burns. The nether folk and ender local to these rainforests are suited to deal with these conditions and the ender especially do not have trouble with the extreme pH of the water here like they would in the overworld. The zone is lit almost exclusively by the biolumincense of the organisms there and have often been described as false-stars.
In the Deep Nether, the ceiling may give way, allowing one to pass onto the plateaus of the Nether Roof and the yawning void above. The bedrock of the nether roof is jagged and layered in huge slabs, sometimes broken up my mazes of pillar-like structures and shallow, thermal pools of crystal-clear liquid. The kind you don't want to touch of course. fogs may hang low to the ground, but when its clear, or above the fog, the entire universe seems to spill out into the sky. The nether roof was culturally significant and a source of much knowledge and inspiration in the early days, but I'll get more into that in a later post 0.0
The Rime Zone: Plunge deep enough and one might find themselves bellow the lava beds. Here, where the heat can't quite penetrate, the temperatures will drop rapidly to sub-zero.
Namely, the Rime Zone is made up of the soul valleys, flat steppes of cinder and clotted sand, you can imagine it almost with the blindness effect, a fog that pools by your feet, and a heavier darkness hanging from the sky, it feels massive and endless and claustrophobic all at once. Frost collects as crystals on the irradiated, soul-soaked barrens, and the bones of the massive nether wyrms lie fossilized, breaking up the landscape. The sands are also split with patches of crazing on the ground and vents of blue fire that spills out and sets the sand ablaze.
These same wryms can be found sometimes, ancient things that dig through sand and soft rocks and the magma lakes, far and few between and treated with both fear and reverence.
And in the deepest pits of the Neath are the glowing frozen lakes that are colloquially and rightfully called the Gates to Death, glowing blue from beneath their surfaces. Indeed, any further down and you pass into limbo, the edge of Death's Realms.
Extra Notes??:
Soul sand/soil is tread on carefully or not at all, is one form of remnants from the apocolyspe. Like the general radiated rubble present through the Nether, it's a fault of nuclear fallout. Unlike other areas of radiation, its also been infused with the souls of those who didn't survive the joining of worlds.
This infused quality is also precent in Nether Debris, resulting in a material that takes magic particularly well.
Iron cannot be found in dense veins and crystals like gold or quartz in the nether, but it's a pretty rich mineral a lot of netherack, giving it its ruddy coloring.
Sorry for this massive rant that no one asked for. If you have questions please feel free to send an ask, I may not have an answer yet but I'll certainly come up with one if I can.
I'm also hoping to do a pass on my headcanons about history and culture in the Nether and then we might start talking about character headcanons since this is also an actual AU.
If you read this far, here's some notes on striders and ghast

The cave was warm compared to the freezing storm out at sea. Yunho gave the all-clear when he jumped from the deck to the sand bank. He made sure the anchor was set so they wouldn’t float away, also giving the grounds around them a once over just in case something else decided to pick the same cave as a place of refuge from the hell-bent storm. Wooyoung shouted about getting dinner started making everyone head for the lower deck, sensing their stomachs empty and in need of Wooyoung’s cooking.
Jongho however stayed on the stern deck, looking out to the waterfall that had an opening in the cave roof, making some rain pour in with a loud trickle. He noticed little lagoon pockets, most of them looked shallow but he knew all too well that they were indefinitely deep, making a cave system right beneath their feet. Some blue glowworms gathered on the wet roof, lighting up the cave, making him suddenly see a shadow out of the corner of his eye. He turns and stood up from his slouched position on the railing, trying to get a better look at the figure in one of the small lagoon pools. Maybe it was something to fear or something that could harm the ship, but he suddenly saw a light mixer of colour painted on a long and elegant tail. He knew exactly what he was looking at and it made his heart skip a beat.
Tumblr media
The sea was calming around your body. It’s quiet and peaceful compared to the world above. You took a large inhale, letting the gills on the side of your neck filter the water inside your system. It was comfortable, familiar. You missed being underwater, but you loved the surface world as well. You missed your tail every day, but not as much as you liked your legs. It was lonely in the sea. Being an outcast from your home because of your special ability. Being a shifter. A rare form of Siren, a mermaid crossbreed. In other words, an abomination. Something that shouldn’t exist, but I guess your parents didn’t get the memo about that.
You navigate the ocean with ease following the scent of the destiny―the ship Yeosang was aboard―. The smell of wet dark spruce, a hint of honey and chard coal, the scent you loved whenever you stood on the deck of the beautiful vessel. You look up to the break where the water meets the opened air, seeing rain dancing on the face of the big blue. It’s getting heavier, you thought, worried the boys might be in trouble, but when you spot teal blue light bubbles, you knew there is a cave system nearby. Maybe they took their ship into a cave?
Swimming through the small crevasse you try your best not to get your large tail suck. But luckily you were just able to wiggle yourself through. You see thousands of lights from glowworms in your blurred view. The surface. Your hands are the first to exit the water feeling the warm air on your cold fingertips. You close your eyes cutting through the water's face before taking a sharp breath of oxygen in, feeling your lung fill with air as your gills close and seal up against your skin from the loss of water around them.
You open your eyes, looking around the large structure, rubbing your eyes in order to clear your vision. A skip in your heart makes your worried nerves finally calm down, seeing the ship sitting out of the storm. Safe. Placing your arms on either side of the lagoon pocket trying to pull yourself up and after a small attempt you got up, twisting your body so your butt could sit on the ledge. You look around the large hollowed rock structure, suddenly grazing on a figure heading in your direction.
“Shit.” You flopped your tail out of the water, placing a hand on your chest before whispering an enchantment allowing you to shift from your tail to your human legs. You prepared to try and explain to whoever was heading your way why you were naked in a cave but before any excuses come to mind a sigh left your lungs as you spot who it was. “Jongho…”
“Hey there Honey. I thought it was you.” His soft voice and kind smile made your heart flutter. He knelled down to your sitting form not dropping his graze from your face. Such a gentleman. He opens a satchel that rests on the side of his hip, pulling out some clothes for you to dress in. He spoke of keeping clothing for you in the past once you told him about you being a shifter. You found it sweet that he and Yeosang were wanting to care for you so much. You always felt love with their protection.
You take the long shirt from the kind male, smiling with a small thank you leaving your lips. Pulling the cloth over your head to take notice that he finally dropped his view, looking at all of you now that you are covered. He let out a gulp as if he wanted to say something. But he couldn’t seem to find the right words.
“You okay Jong?” You tried to get up so you could stand with him but your legs wobbled and your knees buckled making you fall forward. Luckily Jongho caught you.
“Careful honey. Don’t want ya hurtin’ yourself.” He chuckled wrapping his arms around your soft waist, his fingers diving into your plump skin with care. His face was suddenly inches from yours, feeling his heart rate spike from the distance. Time froze as his red eyes glowed while they gaze into your teal ones. You lent in closer, hoping he would seal his lips against yours but he pulls away instead.
“Why are you here Sweetheart?” he whispers, making you let out a huff while rolling your eyes slightly.
“The storm… I wanted to….” You felt a lump in your throat overthinking basically setting you up for failure but yet here you are. Wanting to make sure he was safe. That they were all safe. Jongho gave a small kiss on your forehead, closing his eyes for a moment, taking in your scent that has lingering hints of sea salt.
“I get it…” His lips trail down from your forehead, the crease of your eye, cheeks, jaw and neck. You took a sharp inhale, letting your fingers slip into his belt loops to pull him closer to you. He placed open mouth kisses down your neck until he finds the right spot making you groan softly. A hunger was brewing in his gut, letting his fangs graze your jugular.
“Are you going to bite me, sir?” You teased suddenly feeling your head starting to spin. He just chuckled in response, licking a long strip up your neck before letting his fangs pierce your flesh. You let out a gasp, hands flying to his chest, scrunching the fabric of his blouse. Your blood trickles into his mouth letting him taste the sweet iron twang on his tongue. You felt lightheaded, trying your hardest to keep your body upright. He finally breaks his fangs from your skin. He watched the blood spill out of your neck, dripping down to your collarbone. Fuck, you are so beautiful when covered in blood.
“Baby…” He went to speak but you wasted no time in pushing him against the large flat rocks that lay beside the lagoon pools, making him lean back with a widen stance of his legs. You grinned while you watched him wipe your blood off his chin. You drop to your knees stalking over to your lover. He watched you with a sly smirk, feeling his cock twitch at your excitement. You really got horny from him drinking from you? Yes… You pull down his briefs and took his cock out quickly. Wasting no time in giving him a lick from his base to tip, flicking your tongue on his slit. Jongho let out a soft moan from your action. You lick him like that for a moment, getting him wet and sloppy. You wrap your hands around him and started jacking him off at full-speed. The filthy sounds of him getting wet and you pumping him echoes in the one side of the cave. The feeling made him close his eyes for a moment to just get lost in the pleasure before they popped open when you swallowed him.
“Honey─” He gasps, his hands flying to your head instinctively. His fingers curl as he felt your head move up and down at a quickened pace. He hums deep in his chest making you dig your nails into his thick thighs before pulling off him with a pop.
“Jongho please,” you moaned. “Can you please..use me.” You pressed kisses all over his cock, occasionally licking it from base to tip. Jongho cursed under his breath and took a hold of your head with both hands. You hum excitedly while he sighed deeply, looking at you as you open your mouth as your permission.
“Damn,” he whispers and with one more low curse, he slid himself in your mouth. Your throat muscles immediately hugged his hard cock tightly, and he felt them moving as you swallowed. He groans, hips moving back and forth slowly at first, giving you some time to adjust, but after a small tap on his thigh that he could translate as a go-ahead he picked up his pace. Soon, he was fucking your throat at a pace that could count as fast,
“You want me to use you, huh?” He rasped. His breath was coming out in pants. You swallowed and hummed around him. “Alright, baby, here it comes.” He tightened his hold on your head and thrusts in. He could feel you struggle a little, throat muscles spazaming and after a couple more seconds of having you there, he pulls your head off, and you gasps wetly and loudly. Your face was a mess, but holy shit did it turn on Jongho more than he ever got before…
“You look so ruined, Fuuck,” he curses. You moan and bent your head to take him in your mouth again, making him thrust in and out of you a couple more times before keeping himself buried there for a moment. He felt you gag softly, nails digging into his thighs, but he didn’t pull out, didn’t move, he just kept your head on his cock. The gagging intensified a bit, the spasms of your muscles following. Just when you dug your nails painfully deep, he pulls out. The gasp you let out was louder than the first one.
“Sir, shit,” you whispered. Your voice, horses and your face was painted with tears. Jongho clenched his jaw and buried himself deep in your throat making you moan when he did. Immediately, you start to swallow around him as you snake a hand to grasp his balls. He gasps when he felt the tight grip you had on them, doubling over, but not pulling out this time for a breather. You fondle his balls, holding them tightly, pulling on them and swallowed around his cock. You heard a strong thud before Jongho let out a punch sound and a choked moan, and he came down your throat. When he finally pulled out, he watches a string of saliva follow, connecting your mouth and his dick together.
“Holy shit,” he pants, breathless. You just smile making his heart flutter. “You’re gonna be the death of me.” he laid down on his back, letting the cold rock cool his body temperature.
“You love me.” You giggle using the lagoon water to wash your face and neck, letting the salty water tend to your wound.
“Of course I do.” He replies.

When It Rains || Din Djarin
Tumblr media
Word Count: 1.2k
Summary: Exhausted after a long hunt, reader and Din get caught in a rainstorm
Notes: no warnings, just fluff! Inaccurate planet and travel references.
After weeks of traveling the dust planet of Tatooine, you were beginning to wonder if you would ever feel clean again.
The arid land was completely unnavigable, mystified by a dry heat and the endless expanse of tow-colored dunes that marked your journey. The debilitation of exhaustion and sweat made time slip away without notice, and your two-week expedition turned into three, then four. By the time you had caught up to your bounty, the grit of Tatooine sand felt permanently embedded into your calloused hands and cracked lips.
Din was in a similar sun-baked state, and although he’d deny that the weight of his beskar added to his heated agony, the drag of his feet was sign enough that he had grown tired of the dusty, desert planet.
--
You were practically buzzing with newfound energy as Din loaded the bounty onto the Razor Crest. Relief and eagerness bloomed in your chest as you entered the coordinates into the ship’s navigational system, wondering what awaited the two of you at your next destination. The hunt almost never took this long, and the thought of another day spent under the Tatooine suns made you restless for something new.
“Where to?” Din’s tired voice fills the cockpit as he collapses into the seat beside you.
After years of hunting across the galaxies, locations had become easier to recognize than the names of planets or distant star systems; the places you’d traveled had blurred into an endless pool of information that you didn’t have the energy to sort through.
You rattle off the coordinates listlessly, hoping that your companion doesn’t ask much more of you and your fatigued mind.
“Sarka,” he replies, voice crackling softly through his modulator.
“You’ve been there before? What’s it like?”
He pauses for a moment, tilting his head in consideration. “It’s not a desert.”
You hum gratefully, settling back into your seat and closing your eyes as Din takes over the ship’s navigation. “Good enough for me.”
-
When you finally crack your eyes open, you’re greeted with the sight of lush, vibrant foliage swallowing the Razor Crest as Din lands the ship with his usual quiet professionalism.
Heavy, overcast clouds are gathered above the tree line, warning of impending weather much different than that of the Tatooine desert, and thunder rumbles softly above the noise of the Crest’s engine.
Trees billow and flatten under the force of the ship’s landing, and as you peer down at the woodlands, you can almost imagine the feeling of dark, foreign soil under your feet.
You stretch your arms in front of you with a sigh, the lingering weight of fatigue burdening your muscles as you clamber out of your seat.
Before Din ever unloads a bounty from the ship, he likes to familiarize himself with the terrain and prepare for the possibilities of navigating foreign lands. It isn’t often that the Mandalorian is caught off guard, and the odd circumstances of this hunt won’t change his steadfast routine.
Din rises with slow, drawn-out movements, the only indication that he felt the same stiff ache that pulled at your limbs.
He gives a curt nod before leading you from the cockpit and through the ship’s quiet passageway. The only sounds to be heard were the clink of Mandalorian beskar and the soft whir of the Crest’s outer hatch lowering to the ground.
The stark grey panels of the ship’s entryway open to reveal green as far as the eye can see. You rock on the balls of your feet eagerly, fighting the urge to run past the Mandalorian and embrace the lively scene before you.
“Go ahead,” Din says from behind his helmet, amusement evident in his filtered voice.
You grin widely and descend the ramp ahead of your counterpart, gear clunking with each bounding step towards the ground.
Din follows at a careful pace, surveying the area for any sign of threat. Once he’s sure that the only movement around you is the long grass stirring in the wind, his hand relaxes from his blaster and he turns to you with a hidden smile.
“It’s beautiful,” you call out to him, voice muffled by the boorish thunder that cracks through the air.
His response is lost to the sudden patter of rain beating against the ship’s metal exterior. The sound drowns out your joyous laughter as your head tips backwards to welcome the falling water against your skin. Rain trickles over your face and past your parted lips and Din is left speechless by your open display of rejoice.
He can barely hear his own thoughts over the sound of heavy rain against his helmet, but he doesn’t seem to mind as he descends the ship’s ramp to stand by your side.
Drops of water ricochet off his armored shoulders and create small rivulets down the front of his chest plate, washing away the layer of Tatooine dust that still lingered on the metal. His head tips up towards the sky in silent admiration, mirroring you as he considers what the rain might feel like against his face.
Oblivious to your companion’s musings, you shriek happily and praise maker for the weather, cupping your hands in the air to gather the falling rain. Din watches in fascination as the remnants of the Tatooine desert are washed away, leaving you fresh-faced and delighted by the sudden deluge.
“What do you think?” You ask after a moment, realizing that Din had likely never experienced the rain as you had.
Without a word, his hand comes up to your cheek, holding your face in admiration before tenderly wiping the streaks of rain from beneath your lashes. Din’s thumb lingers for a moment, and you wonder if he can feel the water seeping through the thin material of his gloves.
You grab his hand in yours and pull it back from your face, eyeing him cautiously as you peel the now-damp glove away, revealing a small glimpse of the man behind the beskar.
Rain drips into his open palm and his shoulders tense as if he’s expecting a harsher touch. You can’t see Din’s face, but you can imagine his expression as water pools in his hand and runs down his wrist, disappearing into the sleeve of his tunic.
“It’s warm,” he marvels, gentle voice contrasting his formidable appearance.
“Not always,” you chime in, not missing the way Din leans in to hear your voice over the rain. “Just like the people – it’s different everywhere you go.”
He nods thoughtfully, flexing his fingers in your hold, seemingly entranced by the sight of his bare skin against yours.
A moment passes before you remember your foreign surroundings and pull away from the Mandalorian. “We should grab the bounty before the rain gets too heavy.”
“Not yet.” Din’s voice is almost urgent as he pulls you back into him, helmet tipped low to meet your confused gaze.
“Five more minutes?” He asks softly, tenderly, like his request was something entirely unthinkable.
His grip on your hand tightens and you think you’d be content to waste the entire day here if Din asked. A smile creeps onto your face and you nod contently.
“Five more minutes.”

If people could visit a place in any of your WIPs, which one would you recommend they go to and experience for themselves? Which characters will help them tour the place, and which characters would they see doing something memorable doing the tour? What kind of souvenir should people go home with?
I LOVE THIS QUESTION??? thank you satoh for this!! this will be so fun :)))
let’s get straight into it because it’s a multi-parter.

✈️ A Travel Guide into my WIPs ✈️
༺ My Recommendations ༻
ToV:
Okay so for ToV, the Belt of Domains or the Hollow Tree Forests would be an absolutely MESMERIZING destination to go.
The Belt of Domains because quite literally, they are (mostly) abandoned dragon dens filled with reactive and sentient geographical magic (the walls are alive and want to devour you). And if they aren’t abandoned… Well, wouldn’t it be a treat to find out who occupies those grim quarters? 😌
And then the Hollow Tree Forests! The place with the stream that Alan almost drowned in after blowing up the entire section of the forest. Whoopsies!
I’ll add an excerpt from Throne of Vengeance, Volume 1 which has a description of the forest.
The trees were tall and thunderous, with trunks as thick as boulders and as wide as five adult bodies standing shoulder to shoulder. Networks of branches overhung from above, with some trees carrying sweeping vines that grazed the forest floor and were decorated in blooming varieties of bioluminescent flowers; while others carried their leaves up above as a canopy that selectively leaked green-hued light upon the grey rocks. Thickets of roots ran along the forest floor like the earth’s veins, with patches of fungi and other mysterious-looking plants of fluffy, spiky, swaying textures and mannerisms filling the pockets of spaces between each vessel. [...] When the snow settled yet again and my stomach had yet again emptied itself of acid, we found ourselves standing in a farther region of the woodlands, where in place of grass, cracks of sparkling periwinkle stone ran along the woodland floor, and the mix of deciduous and evergreen trees from the nether regions slowly gave way for an entirely different species all together. I tried my best to wrack my brain of their identity, but as far as I was concerned, none of my studies seemed to explore this mystic variety. Their trunks were silver and metallic, wrapping around each other in knotted twists. When the branches shook with the wind, a chiming melody sounded in place of the flutter of leaves. And in place of leaves, clusters of twinkling, berry-like bunches congregated over the skyline. When light filtered through the berries, it refracted into the inverse of its colour palette—a curious case indeed. Sprouting from the twinkling colourful clusters, thin fibres fell towards the forest ground. Those fibres only fell where patches of clay-coloured moss spread, and never on the periwinkle geodes. Every so often, a spark would bolt through the fibres, crackling through its length like lightning before disappearing entirely. - Throne of Vengeance, Volume 1 [PREORDER HERE]
LotF Series:
For LotF series, I’ll have to say the Mountains of Ividor, or the Dragon Territories. Specifically, the edge of Soil-Celfifa (Soi’l-Cel’Fifa is the proper name but lol), which is the desert of white sand where hurricanes of sandstorms blind anyone who tries to leave the desert. Beyond that point is a rainforest that leads to the Pools of Time and the tomb of a very specific goddess 👀
We made two more brief stops within the forest and one in an endless plain of blood-red sand fields. The desert, Morreial said, stretched for kilometers beyond the horizon, far past anything he or the girls had ever been able to venture. Queerly, it was named Soil’Cel-Fifa. He also mentioned two curious things. One, that at the bordered edges of the barren plains, the sand suddenly shifted to a celestial white colour and blew near constant sandstorms that blinded a person upon entry. It was the primary reason that their travels did not extend beyond its borders. The second was the origin of its name. As it translated in Galka, Soil’Cel-Fifa meant ‘Land of the Crescent Moon,’ named after the two crescent moon goddesses, ‘Fi’ and ‘Fa’. Morreial pointed up to the sky while he rested on a sand dune and provided me the luxury to appreciate the bronzed goddesses’ presence in the lilac skies. - Throne of Vengeance, Volume 1 [PREORDER HERE]
TIS:
For TIS? That’s hard as balls bro. Inkarnyus has such INTERESTING destinations, I don’t even know.
Actually I do know, lmao I lied. Albridor, The Royain Colonies, the Sunken Kingdoms, the Isles of Ingyar, the Imperial Gardens, or Cilvecia (obviously).
I'll do brief descriptions of each as they appear in my outlines since I don't have excerpts for this series yet.
The Royian Colonies: Floating islands of different realms concentrated with homogenous populations of specific supernaturals. The islands are surrounded by a iridescent forcefield called the 'Time-Stealer', which punishes trespassers by 'stealing their time' (making them age faster). It's really hard to travel to the colonies as an outsider for this reason, but once you're in, you're greeting by planets with crystalline rings in the sky, and halos of rainbows that twinkle amongst the clouds, with electric blue water and flora of vivid, hallucinogenic pastels to warp your sense of reality and bend it into the vision of the native supernatural. 100% would go just for the shrooms-esque feeling LMAO
Sarceria in Albridor: Albridor, famed as the wealthiest kingdom in all of Inkarnyus, divides its kingdom by the 'inlands' and the 'outlands' based on which side of the lake they are on. Sarceria is the name of the inlands of Albridor, located on the palatial island exclusive to only the upper class of Albridor. Its tall, diamond-brick palaces gleam as bright as snowflakes, and the paved streets are perfect for carriage rides through the peaceful ton of nobility. The forests that surround Sarceria are a marvel to be wondered, with species of birds, reptiles, and monkeys never seen outside of its woodlands. Topped with a beautiful view of the lake, Sarceria is a site to see and adore... so long as you can ignore the begging on the other side of the river.
The Sunken Kingdoms: The underwater kingdoms in Inkarnyus, spread across all the oceans and inhabited by the different mermaid races. From the mazes of aquatic flora to the serpentine beasts that lurk beneath, or the sea-crystals that form phosphorescent frost over the coral reefs that build their palace walls-- the Sunken Kingdoms are one of the coveted wonders of Inkarnyus' world. Just make sure you don't become anchored to those ocean floors.
The Isles of Ingyar: Shielded by high walls and tough soldiers to patrol their skies, no one knows what hides within the mysterious Isles. All those who live within those walls are not allowed to leave. Not with their memories, that is. And all those who try to enter will be bound to stay forever. Take the gamble, win forever.
The Imperial Gardens: Homeland of the One, Empress of Inkarnyus, the Imperial Gardens it the greenhouse for all wonderous beauty. The fertile soil beneath your feet smells like petrichor, and leaves footprints of new fungi every place you step. Mysterious fragrances of musk and sea salt tinge the orchards of fluttering white blossoms, and the strange, whispering flowers of the open-field meadows are surrounded by beds of murmuring rocks, all warning you to run away...
Cilvecia: Previously known as the kingdom of Liyana, the kingdom of secrets is bordered by a magical wall, shielded from all intruders with lightning strikes that zap a person brain dead upon contact.
From the Unenchanted Forest inhabited by your typical monsters and bordered by quicksand that likes to migrate to wherever their next victim tries to hide to the communal graveyard for all those soldiers (and their families, who should not have been causalities of a battlefield, yet nevertheless found themselves victims to the attacks) who lost their lives trying to win over the unconquerable nation.
Then, the farmlands of Hirza, where crows perch atop the barn of the wealthy Verena Family, crowing at every hour to hide the shrieks within. Or the historical city of temples and architecture-- Berna-- home of the scummiest of politicians and the most mesmerizing of art (for a nation that cut off the feet of all their most talented artists). Oh! I should mention the antithesis of the Unenchanted Forest, the Enchanted Forest: just as deceptive in name as the charming singers that lure you in.
And we can't forget about the Moors of Ghouls, where the trees become hosts for all the dead buried underneath their roots.
But let's move onto the bay Porsa: the hub of oversea trade and forbidden voyaging into the swampy seas of the south. The Mystical Waterfalls with shadows too big for water that shallow. Gumor-- the city protected by natural borders of uneven terrain and rocky bedsides, home of the prestigious Arcos Academy. And, of course, the Arcos Estate, where a certain massacre still bloodies the walls.
And perhaps, but most definently not least... Tyeer. The capital of Cilvecia and the decorated province of the Queen's palace. The city of secrets. The city of gossip. The city of technology. The city of scandal. And most of all-- the city with a bloodlusty queen with a desire for war and conquership.
Cilvecia is the place to be! Why wouldn't you want to visit those deathly gallows? After all, how bad can it be?
༺ Who are the tour guides? ༻
ToV:
Morreial has canonically been Alan’s tour guide when he was taking him travelling in Volume 1, but I feel like a better guide would be Alan himself or Cara. Both of them are nerds, Alan in a Mensus way (textbook smart and super knowledgeable on the history and technical facts about geography and whatnot), but Cara has actually explored more of Elayza than people realize. Apart from growing up in the forests, she was also the only person to swim the full length of the River of Time, and she basically lived underwater in the Pools of Time as a kid. I wouldn’t be surprised if a part of this girl’s lore was that she managed to cross past the sandstorms in Soil-Celfifa and just didn’t tell anyone. It seems like her.
Not to mention, Cara also toured the entire Non-Mage World to conduct research on the different supernaturals that lived amongst humans. She’d be a fantastic tour guide.
LotF:
Evan has canonically visited every single corner of Elayza because this bitch is a wanderer, LOL.
Real talk though— post-SoC? Evan would be the ideal tour guide. Pre-SoC? Faer or Qatya. Qatya more than Faer, to be honest. Qatya is a Seeker, so her job is to quite literally explore and create maps of Soilaila beyond the borders. All the uncharted territory if he’d field of expertise. Meanwhile, Faer is a Huntress, so she finds herself following animals into unexplored regions in her pursuit.
TIS:
Naliya would be a phenomenal tour guide for Cilvecia specifically. But for the full range of Inkarnyus? Blaire Wynnen is the logical response.
Realistically though? No one is boarding that tour bus if Blaire is the driver LMAO. Not because she’d drive the bus off the cliff, but because the cost for the fare would be an irredeemable price.
So, with that in mind, second candidate would be Selven Sarcony or Amanda Marine. Both of them work as La’des for the Cilvecian espionage agency (LESA), so they have a general feel for all the kingdoms in Inkarnyus.
For Albridor specifically, you’d want rather King James Marxian as your tour guide, or Ashley Valencia. It might be hard to book the King of the kingdom for a personal tour of his lands, but it would be the safest tour you’d go on. Ashley is the Chief Diplomat for the Albridorian Embassy in Cilvecia, so you’d also be safe with her. The key to touring Albridor is doing it with a Cupid as an escort. You’re never leaving that rose-coloured dystopia without their hand to hold on the way out.
༺ With OC would do something memorable on the tour? ༻
ToV:
Alan blew up a part of the Hollow Tree Forests, and then proceeded to drown in the stream’s currents. He also got visions from the sun god, Yozar, and nearly got cannibalized by a tree. And in the Belt of Domains, he unintentionally invited dragons into a certain domain and entered a 1v1 with said dragon.
Does that answer the question?
(Before you wonder why I didn't mention Caramel, it's because she actually becomes quite... well-mannered? while travelling)
LotF:
Fawn would probably be the spectacle, to be honest. Fawn or Evan. Those two siblings are a bit of a “theatre kid on drugs” kinda vibe.
Fawn would probably bring the trees “to life” and have them start slowly following everyone during the tour as an ominous presence before someone notices, and then proceed to chase them down full force until the person pisses themselves screaming and crying. LMAOOO
Evan would… I dunno… blow up the mountain? 🤡
(it’s funny because it’s canon)
Qatya would probably just introduce you to her military friends and then teach how to climb trees to go ziplining through the Soilailan Appalachians.
Faer would give you her weapon and teach you how to secure your first quarry.
TIS:
Ashley would take you clubbing in Albridor until 5am. You’ll be batshit drunk on Albridorian wine and some sort of questionable substance that was probably laced with something that makes you start to hallucinate your sleep paralysis demon and its clones in the sky. She’ll hold your hair up and laugh at you while you puke your guts out. And then, she’ll tuck you into bed at her apartment, without any memory of all the questionable and terrifying things she goaded you to do while drunk.
King James would just take you on a carriage ride to the docks of Albridor, where you’d go on a boat ride with the swans and watch the way the water sparkles like glacier water in the pale winter sunlight under the Albridorian sun.
Naliya would lure you into the Enchanted forests of Cilvecia and ask you if you can hear the sirens sing.
And Blaire would uncover all the secrets of where she’s touring you. Of course, not without a price.
༺ Souvenirs! What are they? ༻
ToV:
Morreial canonically advised Alan to take a flower studded vine, a pinecone, and a patch of electric moss from the Hollow Tree Forests. But Alan would tell you to select your favourite flower and watch how it glows when you touch it, and then place it in the dark.
Cara would give you the most interesting souvenir— a scale from one of the dragons of old, who used to occupy the Belt of Domains.
What you SHOULD take home is a book from Naila’s library, or a slice of qhwam se meera during the Festival of Magic. Or a mask for the masquerade and a fashionable outfit to top it off! Or a blessing coin for the altars from the palace temples.
LotF:
Evan would give you the most goated souvenir ever. He’d take you to the Ividorian beaches and help you find a piece of sea glass that reflects the colour of your Aura back to you.
Qatya and Faer would be too focused on their tasks to remember to give you a souvenir at all. Unless you count the meat of your prey.
What you SHOULD take home, however, is quite literally anything that glows. Especially if it’s a gemstone. The gems of Soilaila are the twinkles of the gods’ eyes.
TIS:
King James would get you a wedding contract LOL (i’m being serious).
Ashley would get you a felony charge.
Blaire would earn you a scar and tell you to call it “her special souvenir”.
Naliya would give you nightmares.
Selven would give you a crush (on him. man’s is charming as balls and for WHAT).
Amanda would be the onLY normal person and probably buy you a necklace from the mines of Denelot, or a werewolf tooth and badge from the Royian packs. Or a Seal of Resistance from the Royian Colonies. Or a mermaid’s shell from the Sunken Kingdom.
In terms of what they should go home with? Nothing. Taking anything out of its mother-nation in Inkarnyus is a sure fire way of putting a target on your back.

Mirage Dance (Prompt 2 - Horizon)
Tumblr media
Memories from time spent with The Twelve prove themselves hazy, although whether they are more or less so than any other memory, the Warrior of Light cannot tell, such is the life they’ve lived.
In the Heaven of Fire, they recall the maze of the Endless City in the distance, its spires holding up a crimson horizon. The smell of dust and baked clay. Nald’thal’s dominion is wondrous to behold, but for the Warrior it is easily eclipsed by Azeyma - their patron deity - appearing before them, resplendent in red and gold.
The words Azeyma speaks reside no louder than a whisper, for it is the goddess’s gentle, radiating warmth that stays with the Warrior far more than the praise of martial prowess. It is the touch of Azeyma’s hand as she cups the side of their face, her long fingers sifting through their locks, like finding gold amidst sand. The goddess marvels aloud at her devotee’s hair in all its fiery shades.
Azeyma alights on the ground as gently as a feather to walk beside them. The Warrior only notices later that her feet remain an ilm above the tiled roads, cushioned by the thinnest layer of flames. Fire walker. Sun bringer.
There is a building - a dome - filled with windchimes. Breezes moving through the dome’s apertures send the crystal chimes tinkling, sparkling. Their facets throw the light along the walls in ever-shifting mosaics. Something about supplications, and prayers, as another windchime manifests from the aether before their eyes.
The Warden welcomes the Warrior’s questions. She does not always provide answers. Go forth and seek.
A flutter of colorful silks through an archway. Passage through a garden of roses, each bloom bending toward their namesake as she drifts past them. The Warrior can smell their sweet hues even as they move to the courtyard adjacent, a space bigger than an Ishgardian nobleman’s manse and dotted with reflecting pools fed by statues holding amphorae from which water endlessly pours.
The Warrior is offered ambrosia and a bath and a clean change of clothes and a promise that they will be returned to the mortal world come the morrow. As Azeyma disappears into an adjacent archway, humming, The Warrior is reminded, abruptly, of Feo Ul–exuberance, confidence, and fire. And when, washed and dressed, the Warrior calls out to Azeyma, like Feo Ul she is quick to reappear. Out they go, back into that sprawling courtyard and its colonnades atop a hill overlooking The Endless City.
As the sun’s light smolders to embers, figures filter from the labyrinthine streets and ascend the hill. The Warrior sees them as vibrations in the air, wobbling shapes and contours that sometimes, from the corner of their eye, almost - almost - become coherent enough to have recognizable features. They are heat mirages that do not dissipate when night at last falls.
It’s impossible to tell whether the time of day reflected that of Etheirys or is simply the whims of the gods themselves - but the Warrior remembers the cool, deepening twilight of the evening, the winking of the stars. The constellations - as above in the sky, so below in the reflecting pools - are familiar, but blur amid the rising smoke of the decorative braziers.
There is music, and dancing, and more food pressed into their hands. The Warrior finally retreats from the crowd to a stone bench. They break open a pomegranate and drag their teeth over it, nibble on the uprooted seeds and observe.
The crowd of mirage and shadow whirls in circles, stamping their feet and clapping their hands in dance, the phantom jewelry on wrists and ankles and draped across necks chiming. Voices, incomprehensible even with the Echo, raise to the skies in joyful trills. Something primordial that sends a not-unpleasant ripple of gooseflesh along the Warrior’s arms.
Azeyma is the bonfire they carouse around. She scoops and rises, twirls and sways, her bronze wreath gleaming and her hair lashing her face. The phoenix-plumage fans in her hands are a natural extension of her dance. She stamps her heels to the rhythm of music, sends small dust devils pirouetting from the stones. Like her element, she is mesmerizing to watch, and yet too radiant to behold for more than a few moments at a time.
Far away, someone else also sits among the long dead, in the lonely greens and blues of a phantom Amaurot, waiting for an end that will never come. Was Hythlodaeus’s shade still there even after his creator and inspiration both had gone on to the aetherial sea? The Warrior doesn’t know, but they think Hythlodaeus would like it here. He would be able to see these mirage-like bodies for the colors of their souls, and perhaps know their stories.
For these shades too feel like new old friends, lingering on the edge of memory as if from a past life. The Warrior is separated from the people before them by death or forgetfulness or something else they cannot name.
The Warrior pauses, then tugs the strap of their sandals over one heel, and then the other. They set the sandals under the bench and flex their toes. The sun’s warmth is still held in the stones under their bare feet.
They catch the brief, inviting glint of a golden, godly gaze.
The Warrior blinks the sunspots from their eyes. They pause to breathe deeply the smell of Azeyma’s roses.
They rise to meet the sun.

Top Considerations for Choosing the Best Aufstellpools: A Comprehensive Guide
When summer arrives, the allure of a refreshing swim right in your backyard becomes irresistible. For many, Aufstellpools—or above-ground pools—offer a practical and affordable solution to achieve that dream. Choosing the best Aufstellpools involves more than just picking a size and style; it requires a thorough understanding of your needs, preferences, and the unique features available in today’s market. This comprehensive guide will explore the top considerations for selecting the perfect Aufstellpools to ensure you make an informed decision that meets your needs.
Tumblr media
Understanding Aufstellpools
Aufstellpools are a type of above-ground pool that can be installed on any flat, stable surface. Unlike in-ground pools, which require extensive excavation and construction, aufstellpools are relatively easier and faster to install. They come in various shapes, sizes, and materials, making them a versatile choice for many homeowners.
Top Considerations for Choosing the Best Aufstellpools
1. Size and Shape
The size and shape of your Aufstellpools play a crucial role in determining its functionality and aesthetic appeal. Consider the following:
Size: Evaluate the space available in your backyard. Larger pools offer more swimming area but require more space. Smaller pools are more compact and can fit in tighter areas. Think about how many people will be using the pool regularly and what activities you plan to engage in (e.g., swimming laps, playing water games).
Shape: Aufstellpools come in various shapes, including round, rectangular, oval, and even freeform designs. Round pools are often easier to install and maintain, while rectangular and oval shapes can provide more space for swimming and other activities. The shape you choose should complement your yard's layout and aesthetic.
2. Material and Construction
The material and construction of an Aufstellpools impact its durability, maintenance requirements, and overall cost. Common materials include:
Steel: Steel-framed pools are robust and long-lasting. They often have a powder-coated finish to resist rust and corrosion. Steel pools can support heavy-duty liners and are a popular choice for those seeking durability.
Aluminum: Aluminum pools are lightweight, resistant to rust, and easy to maintain. They are an excellent choice for those who want a low-maintenance option that can withstand various weather conditions.
Resin: Resin pools are made from a plastic composite that is resistant to rust and corrosion. They are known for their durability and flexibility in design. Resin pools are often chosen for their modern appearance and low maintenance.
3. Installation and Setup
The ease of installation and setup can vary significantly between different Aufstellpools. Consider the following aspects:
Preparation: Ensure your site is level and stable before installation. Some Aufstellpools require a prepared base, such as sand or gravel, to provide a solid foundation.
Assembly: Some pools come as a kit with all necessary components, while others may require professional installation. Check whether the pool you are considering can be assembled by yourself or if you will need professional help. Installation complexity can affect the overall cost and timeline.
4. Budget and Cost
The cost of Aufstellpools can vary based on size, material, and additional features. When budgeting for your pool, consider:
Initial Cost: This includes the cost of the pool itself, installation, and any additional components like a pump, filter, or ladder.
Ongoing Costs: Factor in expenses for maintenance, water treatment, heating (if applicable), and utilities. Regular maintenance is necessary to keep your pool in good condition and ensure the water remains clean and safe.
5. Maintenance and Durability
Different Aufstellpools have varying maintenance needs and levels of durability. Consider:
Ease of Cleaning: Some pools come with features like built-in skimmers and filters that make cleaning easier. Check the pool’s design and features to ensure it fits your maintenance preferences.
Durability: Look for pools made from high-quality materials that can withstand environmental factors such as UV rays, temperature fluctuations, and heavy use. A durable pool will require less frequent repairs and replacements.
6. Safety Features
Safety is paramount when choosing an Aufstellpools. Ensure the pool you select includes or allows for the following safety features:
Fencing: Many areas require fencing around the pool area to prevent accidents, especially if you have young children or pets. Check local regulations and consider adding a safety fence if it’s not included.
Ladders and Covers: Ensure the pool comes with sturdy ladders for easy access. A pool cover is also important for keeping the water clean and preventing accidental falls.
7. Accessories and Upgrades
Consider any additional features or accessories that can enhance your swimming experience. Some options include:
Heating Systems: If you plan to use your pool year-round or in cooler climates, consider investing in a heating system to keep the water at a comfortable temperature.
Lighting: Underwater or surrounding lighting can create a beautiful ambiance and extend your pool time into the evening.
Covers and Enclosures: Pool covers help maintain water temperature and keep debris out. Enclosures can protect the pool from the elements and provide a more controlled swimming environment.
8. Local Regulations and Permits
Before installing your Aufstellpools, check with local authorities regarding any regulations or permits required. Some areas have specific rules regarding pool installations, including safety fencing, electrical work, and water usage. Ensuring compliance with these regulations will help you avoid potential fines and ensure a smooth installation process.
Conclusion
Choosing the best Aufstellpools involves careful consideration of various factors, including size, shape, material, installation, budget, maintenance, safety, and additional features. By evaluating these aspects and understanding your needs, you can select a pool that enhances your backyard and provides years of enjoyment.
Whether you opt for a small, compact pool or a larger, more elaborate design, the right Aufstellpools can transform your outdoor space into a personal oasis. Take the time to research and consult with professionals to ensure you make an informed decision that aligns with your lifestyle and preferences. With the right Aufstellpools, you’ll be well on your way to enjoying countless refreshing swims and creating lasting memories with family and friends.

Turn Your Backyard into a Tropical Oasis with a Stock Tank Pool!
Transforming your backyard into a tropical paradise doesn't require a huge budget or a massive construction project. A stock tank pool, originally designed as livestock watering containers, has become a trendy and affordable way to create a refreshing retreat right in your own backyard. Here's how you can turn a simple stock tank pool into a stunning tropical oasis that will make every summer day feel like a vacation.
Why Choose a Stock Tank Pool?
Affordable: Stock tank pools are significantly cheaper than traditional in-ground or above-ground pools. You can create a stylish and functional pool without breaking the bank.
Durable: Made from galvanized steel, stock tanks are built to withstand the elements and last for years. They’re sturdy, easy to maintain, and resistant to rust.
Compact: Ideal for smaller spaces, stock tank pools fit perfectly in most backyards. They offer the luxury of a pool without requiring a lot of room.
Easy to Install: Unlike traditional pools, stock tank pools can be set up in a matter of hours with minimal tools and effort.
Step-by-Step Guide to Creating Your Tropical Oasis
1. Choose the Right Stock Tank
Size and Shape: Stock tanks come in various sizes, from small round tanks to larger oval options. Choose a size that fits your backyard space and meets your needs.
Material: While galvanized steel is the most common material, you can also find stock tanks made from plastic. Both are durable, but steel gives a more authentic, rustic look.
Depth: Consider the depth of the tank based on who will be using it. Shallower tanks are safer for children, while deeper tanks provide more of a traditional pool experience.
2. Prepare the Area
Location: Select a sunny spot in your backyard, away from trees that could drop leaves into the water. Ensure the ground is level to prevent uneven water levels.
Clear the Space: Remove any grass, rocks, or debris from the area. You may also want to lay down a sand or gravel base to help level the surface and provide a stable foundation.
Level the Ground: Use a level to ensure the ground is flat. This is crucial for the stability of the pool and to prevent water from spilling over one side.
3. Install the Pool
Place the Tank: Position the stock tank in your chosen spot. Make sure it’s level and stable before filling it with water.
Set Up Filtration: While not essential, adding a simple filtration system will keep your water clean and reduce the need for frequent changes. Many DIY enthusiasts use a small pump and filter setup designed for above-ground pools.
Fill with Water: Slowly fill the tank with water, checking the stability as you go. Depending on the size, this could take a few hours.
4. Create the Tropical Vibe
Add Greenery: Surround the pool with potted palms, ferns, and other tropical plants. You can also plant a few tall grasses or bamboo around the area for added privacy.
Use Natural Materials: Incorporate natural materials like wood and stone to enhance the tropical feel. Bamboo fencing, wooden decks, or stone pathways are great additions.
Tropical Décor: Decorate the area with tiki torches, lanterns, or string lights to create a cozy, island-inspired atmosphere.
Water Features: Consider adding a small fountain or waterfall feature to the pool. The sound of running water will enhance the tropical ambiance.
5. Accessorize Your Oasis
Floaties and Pool Toys: Bright, tropical-themed floaties add fun and color to your pool. Choose flamingos, pineapples, or any other tropical designs.
Comfortable Seating: Place lounge chairs or hammocks around the pool for a comfortable place to relax. Add colorful cushions and throws to complete the look.
Shade Options: Install a large umbrella, canopy, or pergola to provide shade and make your oasis more comfortable during the hottest parts of the day.
Maintenance Tips for Your Stock Tank Pool
Keep It Clean: Regularly skim the water to remove debris and use a pool vacuum if necessary.
Monitor Water Levels: Check the water levels frequently, especially during hot days when evaporation can cause the water to drop.
Cover When Not in Use: Use a pool cover to keep out debris and reduce evaporation when the pool isn’t in use.
Check Water Chemistry: If you’re using a filtration system, monitor the water chemistry with a simple test kit to ensure it’s safe for swimming.
Conclusion
With a little creativity and effort, you can turn a basic stock tank into a luxurious tropical oasis that’s perfect for summer relaxation. It’s an affordable, stylish, and unique way to enjoy the perks of having a pool without the high costs and maintenance associated with traditional swimming pools. Whether you’re lounging with a cool drink in hand or hosting a poolside party, your stock tank pool will be the ultimate backyard escape!

The Ultimate Guide to Choosing the Right Schwimmbecken Komplettset for Your Backyard
Tumblr media
Investing in a schwimmbecken komplettset is an excellent way to transform your backyard into a personal oasis, especially during the warm summer months. A complete swimming pool set offers everything you need for a smooth installation process, including the pool, filtration systems, ladders, and sometimes even maintenance tools. However, choosing the right Schwimmbecken Komplettset can be a daunting task given the vast options available on the market. This article will help you navigate the decision-making process and guide you to make an informed choice that suits your needs and preferences.
1. Understanding Your Space
Before purchasing a Schwimmbecken Komplettset, it’s crucial to assess the available space in your backyard. Measure the area where you plan to install the pool to ensure you choose a set that fits comfortably. You’ll want to consider both the pool’s dimensions and any surrounding space needed for safety or landscaping. Ensuring you have enough room for poolside activities and seating can elevate your backyard experience.
2. Consider the Shape and Size
Schwimmbecken Komplettsets come in various shapes and sizes, each offering different benefits depending on your needs. If you’re limited on space, a round or oval pool may be a better fit, as it allows for more compact arrangements. On the other hand, if you have ample room, a rectangular pool might provide better lap swimming opportunities or accommodate more guests.
Smaller pools, such as those with a 3 to 5-meter diameter, are ideal for family fun and relaxation. Larger pools, typically ranging from 6 to 8 meters in length, can handle more guests and offer a more immersive swimming experience.
3. Materials and Durability
The durability of your Schwimmbecken Komplettset largely depends on the materials used in its construction. There are three primary types of materials to consider:
Steel-Walled Pools: These are known for their strength and longevity, making them a popular choice for above-ground pools. They often come with a galvanized coating to prevent rust and corrosion.
Resin Pools: These are lighter than steel but still offer good durability. Resin pools are resistant to rust and can withstand harsh weather conditions, making them ideal for long-term outdoor use.
Hybrid Pools: These combine the best of both worlds, with steel frames for strength and resin components for corrosion resistance.
Understanding the pros and cons of each material type will help you choose a set that lasts for years with minimal maintenance.
4. Filtration System and Maintenance
One of the most critical components of any Schwimmbecken Komplettset is the filtration system. A good filtration system ensures clean, clear water by removing dirt, debris, and bacteria. When shopping for a set, consider whether it includes a sand filter, cartridge filter, or a combination of both. Sand filters are easier to maintain and are more cost-effective over time, while cartridge filters provide finer filtration but require more frequent cleaning.
5. Accessories and Extras
Many Schwimmbecken Komplettsets come with various accessories that enhance your pool experience. Common extras include pool ladders, solar covers, ground cloths, and maintenance kits. These accessories not only make your pool safer and easier to use but also help protect your investment. Be sure to check what’s included in the package to ensure you get the most value for your money.
Conclusion
Choosing the right Schwimmbecken Komplettset for your backyard can create countless memories for your family and friends. By considering factors such as size, shape, materials, and the included filtration system, you can make an informed decision that brings joy and relaxation for many summers to come.

Cost and Process of Installing an Above-Ground Pool
Installing a above ground pool is an inexpensive and simple option to enjoy swimming at home.
Cost: Prices normally range from $1,500 to $5,000, depending on size, quality, and optional extras such as decking or landscaping. Some higher-end models or specialized installations may go over this limit.
Process:
Choose the Pool: Determine the appropriate size, shape, and material for your budget and available area.
Set Up the Site: Choose a flat section of your yard and clean it of clutter. You may need to level the ground, which may entail removing grass and installing a sand or concrete foundation.

A Report! From Inside The Walls of Aiden
Sand was swept by the wind as I made my way into the Mallmart store of Okaloosa County. Being greeted by the harsh fluorescent lighting and the song "Dancing Queen" playing overhead, I made my way to the back rooms with a nervous energy gripping my stomach. Because this is the story of Aiden Gossman.
"Dude, there's no blog."
"No, there's a blog. I don't have a Tumblr but there's definitely a blog." Taylor reassured him. The two sat at a table in the breakroom, biding their time before they clocked in for another day at Mallmart. "Dude, they wouldn't even let me take a day off without them taking some of my Mallmart points off! For real!" Aiden, was originally from Georgia, caring for the many animals that filtered in and out of his home at an early age. With long blonde hair that he dyes brown, and sunglasses always on his face, Aiden was a truly unique individual. Luck had an odd relationship with him as he often found himself in hot water, making it out by the skin of his teeth. And as luck would have it, he walked away from a car crash relatively unscathed.
When he first got hit, he had thought for sure he was dead. The flip of the car left him winded and the seatbelt dug into his skin, drawing blood and making it impossible to breathe. His hands felt around for the buckle but as many times as he clicked the release, it didn't let go. He was suspended there, up above the roof of his car, staring down at the crushed metal and broken glass, and the growing pool of gasoline beneath him. Aiden Gossman was not going to give up. Pushing the button of the seatbelt down he wiggled and strained against it with all his might until the seat belt retracted and he was roughly thrown to the ground. Aiden crawls out through his shattered driver's door window, and makes his way out into the growing crowd.
Aiden thinks of this as he works in the dental aisle, the crunch of the glass, the way people seemed more concerned that he left his passenger behind, when he was in an empty car. The fact people seemed less worried about his well being. Now here he was, back to life as normal, and even punished for taking a necessary day off. Mallmart didn't care if you took the day off for your birthday or because you needed your appendix out. Failure to comply with the schedule was insubordination all the same. And Aiden was already down to his last two points. "Aiden!" A young woman, Tori, looked at him intensely from her spot at the end of the aisle. Was he already in trouble? "Were you in that car wreck the other day?" Her voice sounded heartbroken, as she eyed him with concern. "For real, I was." He smiled, taking a step down from his topstock cart. "Which one were you? The grey or the white car?"
"The grey one."
"Oh my god!" The grey one, was the one that had been completely flipped upside down, after all.
So when Aiden inevitably walked into the breakroom that afternoon for lunch and saw Taylor and I sitting at the table, chatting he was ready to explain everything that happened in depth. He took a seat, took a deep breath and watched as our gazes latched onto him, curiously. And he spoke, and despite his way of speaking being peppered with "dudes" and "for reals" we were completely hooked. It felt as if we'd been there. "Put that, in your sad little blog, Ciara!" He grins at my scowl. We probably looked like the masks of comedy and tragedy at that moment. 'Aiden was a pompous and insufferable little man who-'
I shut the narration down. 'No, the man nearly lost his life. The least I could do was be nice to him for today.'
"Rosa was so shocked when I called her," He continued on regardless of my irritation. "Like she totally kept gasping every time I spoke. I was like, "Hello, is this Rosa?" And it didn't even sound like her dude! Like I thought I had some random stranger lady on the phone,"
I found myself having difficulty containing my laughter. Aiden had a magnetic way of speaking. He wasn't stilted and awkward and ugly at conversation at all. He had us all on our toes with this sort of down to earth account of things, that was reaching a feverish pitch of humor. He had a personality for story telling, and it was sublime.
"And I was all, "Oh I got into a car accident at the intersection, and she was all 'gasp!'-
And she asked if I was okay and I told her that I wasn't hurt, my car got totaled since it got rolled, "gasp!" And then I told her that I had to go give my statement-"
"'gasp!'" I helpfully supplied, and he choked on a laugh so infectious that it yanked mine out, a string of drool sliding from my lips which I frantically wiped at and hid my face in embarrassment as I laughed, tears budding in my eyes from the exertion. "No- I- Ciara she didn't-" He struggled through barks of laughter. "I can't breathe-" Taylor giggled, her face flush. We sat there for a moment, trying to catch our breaths.
"You really are lucky with how little injuries you got, that could've gone really badly." Taylor's voice was still wavering slightly from her earlier laughter, but nobody missed the seriousness in her eyes. "Yeah well, I think my luck is better after that car accident. Dude, don't look at me like that! I'm onto something!"
"Well take it easy, alright? Don't go getting yourself killed," Taylor stood, retreating over to the cabinet to put her sanrio purse away.
"You know, everyone can see you like her. You're not exactly subtle,"
"Taylor is a wonderful employee, Aiden-"
The disapproval in Aiden's eyes reminds me that this was just a one off. So when he goes back to talking to Taylor when she sits back down, I find it hard to write about Aiden Gossman anymore.

Exploring Swimming Pool Pumps in Dubai
Importance of Swimming Pool Pumps
Swimming pool pumps play a vital role in maintaining water quality by circulating and filtering the pool water. In Dubai's hot climate, proper water circulation is essential to prevent stagnation and algae growth. Investing in a reliable swimming pool pump ensures crystal-clear water and a safe swimming environment for you and your family.
Types of Swimming Pool Pumps
Dubai offers a variety of swimming pool pumps to suit different pool sizes and requirements. From traditional above-ground pumps to submersible pumps designed for in-ground pools, understanding the characteristics and functionalities of each type is essential for making an informed decision.
Choosing the Right Pump for Your Pool Size
When selecting a swimming pool pump in Dubai, it's crucial to consider your pool's size and water capacity. For smaller pools, such as residential or rooftop pools, a compact water pump designed for small swimming pools may be sufficient. Larger pools, such as those found in hotels or resorts, may require more powerful pumps with higher flow rates to maintain optimal water circulation.
Features and Considerations for Swimming Pool Pumps
Energy Efficiency and Cost Savings
In Dubai, where energy costs can be high, opting for an energy-efficient swimming pool pump can lead to significant cost savings over time. Look for pumps with variable speed motors and programmable timers to optimize energy consumption based on your pool's needs. Additionally, investing in a high-quality pump may initially require a higher upfront cost but can result in long-term savings through reduced energy bills and maintenance expenses.
Durability and Reliability
Dubai's harsh climate, characterized by extreme heat and humidity, can put a strain on swimming pool equipment. When choosing a swimming pool pump, prioritize durability and reliability to ensure it can withstand the demanding conditions. Look for pumps with corrosion-resistant materials, robust construction, and reliable motor components to minimize the risk of breakdowns and prolong the pump's lifespan.
Maintenance and Serviceability
Regular maintenance is essential for keeping your swimming pool pump running smoothly and efficiently. In Dubai, where dust and sand can accumulate quickly, frequent cleaning of the pump's intake and filter is necessary to prevent clogs and maintain optimal performance. Additionally, choose a pump that is easy to service and has readily available spare parts to ensure timely repairs and minimal downtime.

Don't be a Bag! How to Choose the Right Swimming Pool Vacuum
Summer is finally here! And what better way to celebrate than to spend some time lounging by the pool with friends and family? But before you can do that, you need to make sure your pool is clean and safe for everyone to enjoy. This is where a Pool Vacuum comes in. A pool vacuum is a handy tool that helps you clean your pool quickly and easily. There are a variety of pool vacuums available on the market, so it is important to choose the right one for your needs. In this article, we will give you some tips on how to choose the right swimming pool vacuum.
1. Don't be a bag! How to choose the right swimming pool vacuum bags. 2. There are many factors to consider when choosing a pool vacuum. 3. Cost is one factor, but don't let it be the only one. 4. Size and capacity are important too. 5. Ease of use is another thing to consider. 6. Accessories can make or break a pool vacuum. 7. Do your research and read reviews before making a purchase.
1. Don't be a bag! How to choose the right swimming pool vacuum.
A pool vacuum is an essential tool for keeping your pool clean. But with so many different types and models on the market, it can be hard to know which one is right for you. Here are a few things to consider when choosing a pool vacuum: The type of pool you have. There are different vacuums designed for different types of pools. In-ground pools will require a different vacuum than above-ground pools, for example. The size of your pool. A bigger pool will obviously need a bigger and more powerful vacuum. But even if you have a small pool, you don't want a vacuum that's too small or it won't be able to do the job properly. Your budget. Pool vacuums can range in price from around $100 to over $1,000. Obviously, you'll want to choose the one that fits your budget. But don't sacrifice quality for price. A cheaper vacuum might not last as long or work as well as a more expensive one. Your needs. What are you looking for in a pool vacuum? Do you need something that's easy to use? Or are you looking for a vacuum with specific features? Consider what you need before making your purchase. There are a few other things to keep in mind when choosing a pool vacuum. But if you keep these four things in mind, you should be able to find the perfect vacuum for your pool.
2. There are many factors to consider when choosing a pool vacuum.
There are many factors you need to consider when choosing a pool vacuum. What type of pool do you have? In-ground or above ground? What is the size of your pool? These are important questions to answer because they will help determine what kind of vacuum you need to purchase. Above ground pools usually require less powerful vacuums because the pools are not as big. In-ground pools come in all different shapes and sizes, so you will need to take measurements before making a purchase. Another thing to think about is the type of filtration system you have. This also plays a role in the type of vacuum you will need. If you have a cartridge filter, you will need to purchase a vacuum that is specifically designed for this type of filtration system. If you have a sand filter, you will need to get a different type of vacuum. There are also vacuums that can be used for both types of filters. You also need to consider the type of cleaner you want. There are suction-side cleaners and pressure-side cleaners. Suction-side cleaners attach to the skimmer and work off of the suction from the pump. Pressure-side cleaners attach to the return line and work off of the pressure from the pump. Both types of cleaners have their pros and cons. Suction-side cleaners are usually less expensive, but they can be hard to install and they don’t always clean the pool as well. Pressure-side cleaners are more expensive, but they are easier to install and they usually do a better job of cleaning the pool. You also need to think about the features you want in a cleaner. Do you want a cleaner that has a built-in timer? Do you want a cleaner that is self-propelled? These are just some of the things you need to think about before making a purchase. Pool vacuums can be a big investment, so you want to make sure you are choosing the right one for your needs. Take your time and do your research to find the perfect vacuum for your pool.
3. Cost is one factor, but don't let it be the only one.
As anyone who has ever shopped for a swimming pool vacuum knows, there are a lot of factors to consider. First, there's the matter of cost. A high-end pool vacuum can cost upwards of $1,000, while a basic model may be half that. So, clearly, cost is a factor to consider. But it's not the only factor. In fact, cost should not be the only factor. A more important consideration is whether the pool vacuum will actually do the job it's supposed to do. After all, what's the point of spending any amount of money on a vacuum if it's not going to do a good job of cleaning the pool? There are a few things to look for when judging a pool vacuum's cleaning ability. First, take a look at the hose. A good quality hose will be made of sturdy material that won't kink or crack. It should also be long enough to reach all the way around the pool. Next, take a look at the vacuum's attachments. These should be made of durable material and should fit snugly onto the hose. They should also be able to reach into all the nooks and crannies of the pool, such as the steps and corners. Finally, consider the warranty. A good quality pool vacuum should come with a generous warranty, just in case anything goes wrong. So, when shopping for a pool vacuum, cost is certainly a factor to consider. But it should not be the only factor. There are other, more important considerations that should be taken into account as well.
4. Size and capacity are important too.
It's important to choose a swimming pool vacuum that's the right size for your pool. If you have a small pool, you don't need a huge vacuum. Likewise, if you have a large pool, you'll need a bigger vacuum. The capacity is also important. If you have a lot of debris in your pool, you'll need a vacuum with a large capacity. Otherwise, you'll have to empty the vacuum constantly.
5. Ease of use is another thing to consider.
When it comes to vacuuming your pool, you want something that is easy to use so that you don’t have to spend hours trying to get the job done. There are a few things that you can look for when you are choosing a swimming pool vacuum to help you find one that will be easy for you to use. One thing to consider is the weight of the vacuum. If it is too heavy, then it will be difficult for you to maneuver it around the pool. Another thing to consider is the suction power. If the vacuum doesn’t have enough suction, then it will take longer to vacuum the pool. You also want to make sure that the vacuum comes with all of the necessary accessories. For example, if you have a above ground pool, you will need a different attachment than you would for an inground pool. Make sure that the vacuum comes with the right attachment for your pool. You also want to consider the warranty when you are choosing a swimming pool vacuum. Some companies offer a longer warranty than others. This is something that you want to consider because it can save you money in the long run if something goes wrong with the vacuum. Finally, ease of use is something else to consider. You want to make sure that the vacuum is easy to put together and that it is easy to use. If it is difficult to use, then you will spend more time trying to get the job done and you may not even be able to finish vacuuming the pool. When you are choosing a swimming pool vacuum, ease of use is an important thing to consider. You want to make sure that the vacuum is easy to put together and that it is easy to use. If it is difficult to use, then you will spend more time trying to get the job done and you may not even be able to finish vacuuming the pool.
6. Accessories can make or break a pool vacuum.
When it comes to choosing a pool vacuum, accessories can make or break the deal. Here are six things to keep in mind when choosing the right accessories for your pool vacuum. The first thing to consider is the hose. A good pool vacuum will come with a hose that is long enough to reach all corners of the pool. It should also be made of durable material that can withstand being dragged around the pool. The second thing to consider is the brush. A good pool vacuum brush will be made of soft material that will not scratch the surface of the pool. It should also be able to reach into tight spaces and corners. The third thing to consider is the crevice tool. This is a small, handheld tool that is used to reach into tight spaces and remove debris. A good crevice tool will be made of durable material and have a pointed tip to reach into small spaces. The fourth thing to consider is the bag. A good pool vacuum bag will be made of durable material that can hold a lot of debris. It should also be easy to empty and clean. The fifth thing to consider is the warranty. A good pool vacuum will come with a warranty that covers the vacuum and all of its parts. This will give you peace of mind in knowing that you are covered in case something goes wrong. The sixth and final thing to consider is the price. A good pool vacuum will be priced reasonably. It should not be so expensive that it breaks the bank, but it should also not be so cheap that it is of poor quality. When it comes to choosing a pool vacuum, accessories can make or break the deal. Keep these six things in mind and you will be sure to find the perfect pool vacuum for your needs.
7. Do your research and read reviews before making a purchase.
There are a lot of different swimming pool vacuums on the market, and it can be hard to know which one to choose. The best way to make sure you get a good quality vacuum is to do your research and read reviews before making a purchase. One thing to keep in mind when looking for a pool vacuum is what type of pool you have. There are vacuums made for above-ground pools and ones made for inground pools. Make sure you get the right type of vacuum for your pool. Another thing to consider is the size of the vacuum. You don’t want to get a vacuum that is too small or too big for your pool. If the vacuum is too small, it will take forever to clean your pool. If the vacuum is too big, it may not fit in your pool. There are also different types of vacuums, such as manual vacuums and automatic vacuums. Manual vacuums are usually less expensive, but they take more work to use. Automatic vacuums are more expensive, but they are easier to use. Before you purchase a pool vacuum, it is important to read reviews to see what other people think about the vacuum. You can find reviews online or in magazines. It is also a good idea to ask your friends or family if they have any recommendations. When you are looking for a swimming pool vacuum, keep these things in mind and you will be sure to find the perfect one for you.
In conclusion, when shopping for a pool vacuum it is important to consider the type of pool you have, the size of the vacuum, and the features that are important to you. By taking the time to do your research, you will be sure to find the perfect vacuum for your pool.

Cartridge Filter: The Unseen Hero of Clean Water
In the realm of pool maintenance, it's the reliable knight guarding your pool's purity, fighting off the armies of debris and impurities. Let's dive into the depths of this marvel and discover why it's crucial for maintaining a pristine swimming experience.
1. Introducing the Cartridge Filter
Think of a cartridge filter as a superhero suit for your pool or spa. It's designed to trap particles and impurities, leaving your water sparkling clean. Imagine it as a vigilant bouncer at an exclusive party, only allowing the pure and desirable guests (clean water molecules) to pass through.
2. The Working Mechanism
The cartridge filter operates on a simple principle: it physically strains out particles from the water. The filter cartridge is made of pleated polyester material, providing a large surface area for entrapment. As water circulates through the cartridge, impurities get trapped in the fine mesh while allowing clean water to flow through.
3. Different Layers of Defense
Much like a medieval castle protected by multiple layers of walls, a cartridge filter employs a multilayered defense mechanism. The layers of the filter are akin to the castle's walls, preventing any invaders (impurities) from penetrating and muddying the pristine waters of your pool.
4. Pleats: The Unsung Heroes
The pleats in a cartridge filter are like secret agents - small, but incredibly effective. They significantly increase the surface area of the filter, providing more space for impurities to be captured. It's akin to having more nets to catch more fish in a vast ocean.
5. The Unseen Enemy: Microns
Ever heard of the saying, "It's the little things that matter"? Well, in pool maintenance, it's absolutely true. Microns are the unseen enemies - particles so small that they can spoil the party in your pool. Cartridge filters can capture particles as small as 10 microns, leaving your water remarkably clear and inviting.
6. A Friend to the Environment
Cartridge filters are eco-friendly. Unlike traditional sand filters that require backwashing and waste a lot of water, cartridge filters can be cleaned by simply removing and hosing them down. This not only saves water but also makes the cartridge filter a sustainable choice for the environmentally conscious.
7. Ease of Maintenance
Maintenance shouldn't be a dragon you have to slay. Cartridge filters are easy to clean and maintain. You can do it yourself without needing a pool professional. A quick rinse or a hose-down, and your cartridge filter is ready to keep fighting the good fight for your clean pool.
8. Cost-Efficiency: The Hidden Treasure
While the initial cost of a cartridge filter might seem a bit higher than traditional options, the long-term savings are like a treasure chest waiting to be discovered. Their durability and low maintenance requirements save you both time and money in the long run.
9. A Versatile Champion
Cartridge filters are versatile and can be used for various pool sizes and types. Whether you have an above-ground pool or an in-ground oasis, there's a cartridge filter designed to meet your specific needs.
10. Compatibility with Modern Pumps
Pairing a cartridge filter with a modern, efficient pump is a match made in pool-cleaning heaven. The two work seamlessly together, ensuring optimal circulation and filtration to keep your water pristine and inviting.
11. The Hero's Journey: Choosing the Right Cartridge Filter
When embarking on a quest to find the perfect cartridge filter, consider your pool's size, the flow rate of your pump, and the type of debris common in your area. Your hero's journey begins with the right choice!
12. DIY Installation: A Quest Worth Taking
Installing a cartridge filter can be your personal heroic quest. With the right guidance and a touch of determination, you can conquer the installation process and bask in the glory of a clean, inviting pool.
13. The Quest for Clarity: Regular Maintenance
Every hero needs a regimen to stay strong. Regular maintenance of your cartridge filter is the key to a long-lasting, efficient filter. Make it a part of your routine, and your pool will thank you.
14. Troubleshooting: The Hero's Challenges
Even heroes face challenges. If your cartridge filter seems to be struggling, fear not. Troubleshooting tips and expert advice are your trusty companions in overcoming any obstacle.
15. Conclusion: Your Clean Water Odyssey
In the grand tale of pool maintenance, the cartridge filter stands tall as the unsung hero, silently ensuring the clarity and purity of your aquatic oasis. It's the guardian, the protector, and the key to a refreshing swim on a hot summer's day. Embrace the cartridge filter, and let your water sparkle like the jewels of a dragon's hoard. Happy swimming!
