What a great day #Wednesday was for my class of #LIUBrooklyn #journalism and #mediaarts students. #Letstalk about how Senior Vice President @robinverges said YES when I reached out to ask if she and fellow #publicrelations #pros from #NYC Rubenstein @rubeinsta would sit down with my #liu students to talk about PR and Journalism : What's the relationship? What a Day of #learning , hearing the importance of #internships and #networking and mentions of #onlineprofiles, starting a career in pr right out of college, #careertips, the changing mediascape of #PR as well as hearing from the heads of digital and talent acquisitions and meeting pr vets Nancy Haberman and Pat Smith both former journalists themselves and whose wealth of knowledge the students and I wanted to bottle.
