What several levels of exhaustion does to a mother fucker.

I was listening to the album grow again by Moe Reen while making this. specifically Why Deny (The Climate of Our Love).

You could admit it's all on fire And confess to loving me This world is surely ending soon, Our love is certainly something true So why deny the climate of our love?

Theres so much to say about them. The world is on the precipice of disaster and yet they found each other, the successors to the emperor and empress titans. Did the emperor and empress wonder what their successors would become? did they wonder about who their successors would be? did they hope that they would find the love they had? or did they think the story of the titans ended then?

When Fearne was alone with Nana Morri did she ever dream about the people she has around her now? about sharing a bed, with no other expectations other than waking up together?

When Ashton found themselves left behind after the nobodies left him, did he dream about a group of people who listened to what they said and respected their words? did they ever dream of someone wanting to be with them just because they liked being around him?

when they were at their loneliest, was the thought of each other a fever dream?

I still stand as a firm believer that both Ashton and Fearne have two hands, but watching them grow closer together has been amazing. And I hope their relationship continues to flourish, platonically or romantically.

It’s so funny that Essek was taken aback by Fearne summoning Teven, but if you’d asked me before this episode (or at least before Fearne met him), “which party would be more likely to randomly summon the champion of a betrayer god out of thin air without warning?” I would have immediately answered “The Mighty Nein”. 

I love the implications of this. I love the idea that the Nein’s antics might STILL throw Essek years later, but isn’t that also why he loves them so much? Didn’t they win him over by relentless friendship mixed with absolute batshit amounts of chaos? 

On the other hand, I can also imagine a world where yes, Essek totally would have expected this from the Nein - but he never expected any other adventuring party to be as ridiculous as his friends. 

This poor drow will never escape the confines of being trapped within the indignity of a game of dnd, and I love that for him.

im really liking campaign 3 so far !!! i was doodling fearne as a break from my homework but ended up spending a bit longer cleaning the sketch up a bit and adding a few simple colors lol

bell’s hells hearing the mighty nein arrive and chetney shouting “oh! oh shit! I think they’re here!” and braius shouting “quick, clean up! make it look like we’re cool.” and fearne saying “yeah!” and laudna asking “should we walk out and greet them? …we need levels, right?” and dorian saying “like a tableau.” and everyone except orym getting into position,,, dorian laying seductively on his side,,, fearne leaning against a pillar,,, imogen floating,,, laudna laying flat,,, braius in the doorframe showing off his arm muscles,,, ashton sitting coolly on the rail,,, and then orym, standing in the center of the porch, saying “hey. I don’t know what they’re – we’re the people you’re looking for. hi.” (bonus: imogen, fearne, and dorian whining “orym!”) 😂
