I love Clark as much as the next guy but lemme tell you the whole time he was holding Kara who was clearly dying from Kryptonite poisoning I was like "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? FLY HER INTO THE SUN!!!" bc why did he wait so long she was DYING after killing Brainiac.

so it looks like both Clark and Lois woke up on "new days" multiple times in the Brainiac dreamscape, and Clark really believed his whole life was there, but even just the part with Lois around could easily have been months or weeks. After this episode, will they feel like they woke up from a dream, or will that time still stay with them, making yesterday feel like a long time ago? Will Clark regain his memories of every time Lois tried to save him, or will she be alone with the memory of those long weeks, while Clark thinks it took only one try? Will they explain to eachother what memories they have?
Will Clark try to recount an anecdote, only to realize it couldn't have been real? He knew Kara inside the simulation, and if he keeps these fake memories, he will have known her for longer inside the dreamscape than out. Brainiac's knowledge of Krypton and other planets is probably what gave Clark the images of alien species he believes to have met, will he have internalized the Kryptonian perception of certain species? Will Kara be jealous that he effectively spent years hanging out with a convincing sim of their family members? Will she understand how alienated he still felt among them?

Every watch of MAWS is just as delicious. Like, rn I'm on the episode with the Amerteck Metallo suits and like. What do you mean the answer to 'streets so safe you can send a baby out alone' is to give everybody a tank. a fucking. a tank.

deep enough into DC lore to constantly get shipping memes on my feeds featuring an emo or goth, and a guy with the crest of El, shallow enough not to know *which* Superman/boy/son and batfam member are being shipped

The way Lex promises Earth is "safer than ever before" at the same time as Kara is looking over it in her robot suit. The way nothing the characters present for that scene did actually helped against Kara.

very unorganized thoughts:
I am watching the The Batman cartoon rn and I went in with the expectation that Bruce is the guy who reluctantly keeps this kids on his hero team just to stop them from becoming evil, which is probably more comfortable bc it makes Bruce definitively a Good Guy and still leaves room for cool, fun Batgirl and Robin episodes. The more I watch it, though, the more it seems that (for this show at least) this isn't the direction they went for. Robin has already decided to Not Kill Bad Guys TM before Bruce has even officially welcomed him into the team. Dick has *fun* fighting villains. Being Batman and Robin is what they bond over, and since Bruce is rarely home and therefore would barely interact with Dick if it weren't for Robin, I think their partnership is literally just the closest Bruce can come to being a good caretaker. We see glimpses of throe relationship in later episodes, and that Bruce uses a Dad Voice TM but Dick also talks pretty freely around him and Alfred, less cagey than other (traumatized) preteens. Bruce and Dick in this universe only have as good of a relationship as they do because of Robin, and that doesn't really make it "fine" but it's much more interesting that the literal best these two could do for someone they love is. Child Vigilatism.
Not only that but there are times when Bruce tells Dick to go down to the Batcave or to get into the Batmobile in the same way you'd tell a kid to brush their teeth. For Bruce, being the Batman is a choice he makes every single night when he plays hooky from some prior engagement to investigate a robbery Alfred says it's probably nothing. It's reflexive, really, and Robin is part of the routine, I haven't yet seen him yet to opt out. Of *course* he's coming along, this keystone of their family is important just like any other daily routine.
I had more to add I think but this'll do.

I feel like I deserve a good grade in media literacy for making my personal tag for MAWS "#about the supertiddies," only for the next episode to release to give Clark a boob window.
