suddenly just remembered (against my will) that when i was a 12 year old roleplaying anime on quotev, i once ran into a group of hamilton roleplayers who were messing around with the hetalia group. except i found out halfway through inspecting the conversation under a microscope that actually these people were not roleplaying hamilton. they were roleplaying irl actual founding fathers.

and i do think, as an adult, that hamilton is a pretty weird thing that happened. but hamilton roleplayers are SIGNIFICANTLY more normal than irl founding father roleplayers.

i found this out because when the hetalia group's america started quoting hamilton, the founding fathers group's aaron burr responded with something like "oh, i'm a real founding father. although leslie odom jr. did a great job of portraying me in lin manuel miranda's musical." IN CHARACTER AS AARON BURR.

Controversial opinion but if you're the DM of a (serious to semi-serious) campaign and you got one of those chaotic "I want to seduce everything/I saw this cool exploit that can turn a stick into an ion cannon according to the rules" you should just say No.

"I roll to seduce the bees!"

"I can do anything, it's a game!"

"Roll 1d12 for light wounds and check your Constitution for poison resistence."

so I don't really know much about roleplay, I'm just trying to have fun!

this character is Yzma after the events of the emperor's new groove and the emperor's new school. She is no longer an advisor, principal, or Kronk's assistant. She has fled the scene and is hiding out in the mountains plotting her next become empress scheme!

Her current brilliant idea is to disguise herself as Yasmine so she can live undercover and get closer to the throne.

But she is also just trying to enjoy life, make friends, and live out her dreams and life goals.

She is kind of lonely without Kronk around, or Chester whomst he took custody of after Kuzco Academy tore the secret lab down due to health hazards and it being illegally there.

So she is eager to meet new people and reminisce about the old ones in her life. But she is still pursuing her mission, to become empress Yzma once and for all! 💜😈👑

I really admire BBH as a roleplayer for always being willing to be the "bad" guy.

I say it in quotes, because in character he does justify his actions and has reasons, but sometimes the hardest thing to do when roleplaying with people you like is to be the one that goes against the grain. To basically know everyone's going to be up against you and you have to consistently hold strong. Creating that conflict is sometimes necessary for good plot, but boy does it sting to have to endure it.

I never was able to do that. It legit made me so upset and I know a lot of people on singleplayer environmental RPG are still unable to be even a little "evil."

Anyway, BBH has always had talent as a roleplayer, and I'm always kind of happy to see him have more of a main role in QSMP.

With the light of a TWST RP mod, I have decided to not include them in the “What Went Down in TWST RP in a Week” of RP accounts they run. As currently, they have made the TWST RP community quite uncomfortable with them being there. I will not list out their name, but they are notable enough for having several twst RP accounts. I may had not interacted with them that much in the past, but knowing what @castaway-achlys had to deal with and several others. I’m merely speaking about the situation I am now aware of, and I have my decision on the matter. I can safely say that I will not contact them in any shape or form from this point on, as they have mischaracterize several characters that I quite enjoy.

Relationship— Nonexistent. Chishiya’s mother is often absent from his life, only showing up on the occasional weekend to check in— the checking in being ignoring him half the time she’s there. Due to the fact that she never cared to explain her disappearance or where she was going to either him or her husband, Chishiya learned to stop asking and accepted that maybe she never wanted to be a mother or a wife to begin with.

Father: Chishiya Minato.

Status: Alive.

Relationship— Their relationship has always been rocky— an understatement if you ask Chishiya. Father-like- son, Chishiya’s father is a proud and stubborn man. They didn’t get much time to bond given his father was always at work, working 12 hours at the hospital almost every day with little time to acknowledge Chishiya and cold shouldering him when getting the chance. They often clashed whenever speaking and after his consistent pushing for Chishiya to follow in his footsteps as a doctor and his constant chiding for him to do better even with the perfect grades at school, Chishiya finally snapped and decided to cut off all contact. Both of his parents’ neglect is why he is the way he is and doesn’t understand the basic concept of love— whether it be platonic or romantic. It’s also why he strives to be better than everyone else thanks to his father drumming it over and over into his head on a daily basis.

Spouse: N/A. Rarely engages in relationships or sex for that matter, only the occasional hook-up. (Depends on the verse. Shipping can be discussed, but I won’t allow force shipping.)

Friends: Chishiya doesn’t have any friends in the real world by choice— he simply doesn’t feel the need to have them, nor did he ever feel any connection to the people around him while he was growing up. After Borderland though, he became quite close to Kuina, Arisu and Usagi.

He’d much rather be emotionless and numb while getting off on other people’s pain. He’s a bit of a sociopath.

Weapons: Makeshift taser, makeshift flamethrower, switchblade and makeshift bombs. Basically anything he can get his hands on, he’ll try and craft it into a weapon.

Backstory:

Born to two doctors, Chishiya comes from a rich family— but quickly learned the hard way that money doesn’t buy happiness. From a young age, Chishiya learned how to be independent due to his parents never being there for him. He learned how to cook, clean and look after himself. Pretty much the result of both his parents being pressured by society to start a family, Chishiya was the product of what his parents hoped would get people off their backs once and for all.

Neglected and forgotten about half the time, Chishiya grew bitter to the world around him believing that humanity is inheritently selfish and that love doesn’t exist.

Forced into med school by his father by the time he was eighteen, Chishiya accepted his fate and tried to see the positive of joining the profession thinking that perhaps if he could help people then he could find the meaning of life and prove to himself that humanity wasn’t all that bad after all.. unfortunately it only lead him further down the path of bitterness to the world around him.

Never returning home after graduating and with a degree now under his belt, Chishiya opted to completely cut off all contact with his parents and changed his phone number to start anew. Soon after, he sealed a position at Sakurazawa University Hospital, starting out as a medical intern. At first all was well and he could actually see a decent future for himself there. Things were looking up and he was finally helping people and healing a part of himself in the process.. that was until the letters started to roll in and he was forced to prioritise the treatment of richer patients, the less fortunate often dying due to much needed treatment and surgeries that got delayed. 9/10 times, they were kids that died..

Depression quickly set in and Chishiya fell into despair, completely growing numb to everything and the last of his hope for humanity, and to find his calling in life diminished. Death didn’t bother him anymore. Nothing did, and he learned to stop caring about anything and everyone including himself.

It’s why he treats Borderland as a playground and has little concern for his own life, using sarcasm as a shield to hide behind. His mindset is: Now he gets to choose who lives and who dies. Oh how the tables have turned.

Unfortunatly I'm still on the hell site a lot (twitter my beloathed) and I'm curious about something when it comes to the qsmp fandom here. To me it's always very clear that most posts are talking about the characters and usually if we talk about the streamers/ccs the post makes it very clear. But on twitter it's considered better to use the q! in front of the names to separate the characters from the people playing them. I tend to use them in posts but sometimes forget. What do you think? Is it better to always use it? I know reading comprehension here can be piss poor (how dare I piss on the poor etc) but I feel generally it is better than twitter, specifically when it comes to what I've seen in the qsmp fandom. Idk. I was just thinking about this. (Oh btw this isn't me trying to start shit, idc if people use it or not, I just wanted to know if it's a problem when I don't or if I'm outing myself too much as an ""x"" user when I do, this is mostly me being curious, really lmaoo)
