Okay, so honestly speaking, I can't see Alucard and Integra as a canon ship. Decided I wanna ramble a little bit bc I just re-watched Hellsing Ultimate. This is mainly because of my own stances and ships as I am primarily an AbeCard/AbeVlad shipper, a sertegra shipper, or a FlintCard shipper. Personally, there are reasons why I am not a fan of AluTegra. Though people view the "you're giving me a boner" as romantically charged, I don't. I see this scene as an attempt to get under Integra's skin and as a test of her authority. He's like a headstrong dog that need you to repeatedly establish rules and boundaries or he will run wild and chew up all your furniture and piss in your shoes. This need to be dominated and put in his place is very often shown. Usually with him demanding orders. He is not human, and that is the important thing to remember. Vampires are creatures that are notoriously hypersexual in all forms of media, and being hypersexual, or speaking sexually to other people is not and indicator of a romance or relationship. Along with that, him addressing her as "Countess" is also not an indicator of a relationship. In my opinion, it is an acknowledgement of Integra as someone who is his equal, and worthy of respect. It is a title, not a proposal. Plus, I feel as though Integra wouldn't disrespect her family legacy by sleeping with the very thing the people before her worked to contain? Anyway, that's just my opinion lol. if you don't like it, feel free to just ignore. Also, ships don't need to be canon to be valid, and that you should treat people with respect regardless of what they ship, or if they don't agree with you. On to the real thing I wanna talk about. ABECARD. THE OBJECTIVELY BEST SHIP IN HELLSING. WOOOOO. MY FAVORITE SHIP EVER, LOVE IT SO MUCH. OUGH. FEED ME MORE ABECARD PLEASE, JUST A CRUMB. I genuinely love the idea of their dynamics, and yes, I am aware that it's semi-similar to AluTegra, but I give no fucks as I am the gayest bastard in existence. The dominance and submission of it all makes me crazy. The strong human man overpowering and taming an ancient vampire???? Yes please, give me 20-- I can't stop thinking about the idea of Abraham putting a fancy bell collar on Alucard and the whole concept of clothes as control considering that it has a sense of power dynamics being that Alucard has to be given clothes, and clothes are a feature of humanity. Alucard/Van Hellsing. Oh my god, I can't imagine how toxic and painful that was (literally). But I can imagine one (haha) Hellsing crawling into his coffin to stab him with a stake.
