Information: Every info needed is stated on the box.

Scent: I saw in a forum that this soap is supposed to smell like bubblegum? Well, it doesn’t.

Effectiveness: 0/5

Directions for use: Produce enough foam to apply on your skin. Lather thoroughly on your body and face. Rinse.

What I like about it: I don’t like it.

What I don’t like about it: NGL, it smells really disgusting to me. It’s like vomit or spoiled milk. I didn’t use it. It’s probably a year in my bathroom. 

Would I buy again? NO.

Product Review|Maybelline V-Face Duo Stick

Consistency: cream

Scent: unscented

Effectiveness: 3/5

Directions for use: Use the dark side of the stick in areas you want to reduce: along your hairline, along the sides of your nose, in the hollows of your cheeks, and on your jawline. Use the light side of the stick in areas you want to highlight: your forehead, along your nose bridge, on the high points of your cheeks, and your chin. Tip: Use the V-Face Powder to set your contour and highlight.

What I like about it: The chiseled bullet tip makes it so easy to use.

What I don’t like about it: It’s not lightweight, I’m not a fan of cream-based makeups because it gets oily after a while and they’re not sweat-proof.

Would I buy again? No. The Maybelline Fashion Brow already works great for contouring.

What I like about it: This is my favorite Maybelline product. It’s waterproof and smudge-proof. It is also easy to remove.

What I don’t like about it: It’s not organic and cruelty-free.

Would I buy again? Yes, I haven’t found a good alternative yet.

Apply clay foam directly onto dry skin.

Gently massage in circular motion.

Dampen face with water and massage to create a creamy lather.

Rinse off.

What I like about it: I gives the skin a clean feeling.

What I don’t like about it: It’s too fragrant and like I’ve mention before I have sensitive skin to very fragrant products. My skin becomes itchy and red. I also had breakouts upon using this. Maybe It’s not for my skin type. 

Would I buy again? No.

What I don’t like about it: It can be a little harsh on dry skin because tea tree can be a little strong when you have dry skin like me, so I suggest you follow the directions for use.

Would I buy again? Yes, I always make sure to have one in stock in case I get breakouts.

Recommended for: oily skin, acne prone.

Consistency: powder, thick when it becomes clay.

Effectiveness: 2/5

Directions for use: Mix Clay with equal parts of raw apple cider vinegar and/ or water. Use a non- metal bowl and utensil. Stir the mixture well to a smooth paste. Add more Clay or liquid as needed. Apply 1/8 in. to 1/4 in. to the face or other area. Let it dry for 5- 10 min. for delicate skin and 15- 20 min. for normal skin. Remove clay by washing with warm water

What I like about it: I used it when I had my acne, I wouldn’t say that I like it although it did make your skin and pores feel like it’s tightening.

What I don’t like about it: Not recommended for dry skin like me. It would make your skin dry and itchy and breakout. I use it with raw apple cider, its better than water.

Would I buy again? No. This product isn’t for me.

What I don’t like about it: It become greasy after a while and my face felt itchy so I discontinued using it. I didn’t see any results.

Would I buy again? No.

What I like about it: It’ mild and unscented. It’s part of my routine for removing my makeup. It removes makeup easily and hydrates skin.

What I don’t like about it: Quite hard to rinse off.

Would I buy again? Maybe. I still prefer Celeteque.

Directions for use: 

Wash your face with warm water and antibacterial soap.

Make sure the skin is properly dried. The patch doesn’t stick well to wet skin.

Do not use any medication before applying the patch.

apply a single patch directly above a blemish and let it sit for 8-12 hours.

What I like about it: I does its job well, all claims are true. I usually use this when I have painful and pesky pimples that won’t go away quickly. It prevents the skin from having acne scars.

What I don’t like about it: Nothing, it’s all good, fam. 👌🏻 

Would I buy again? Yes

Product Review|Skinpotions Snowberry Cream (old packaging)

Scent: I love the scent! It smells like strawberries and cream, something like Potchii candy!

Effectiveness: 5/5

Directions for use: spread a generous amount to your face and massage until absorbed. Leave overnight. I use this every other night because according to Skinpotions this product is for the oily skin type. I put this in the fridge to prolong it’s shelf life and I like applying it cold, it feels good on my face.

What I like about it: When I first applied this I didn’t see the results, it took a while probably a month or two. It does dry up pimples, lightens dark spots, pimple marks and evens out skin tone. The rest of the claims I’m not sure but so far I’d say it is effective. It leaves my skin fresh and supple when I wake up almost like glass skin, it got rid of roughness, bumps and dry patches on my face too!

What I don’t like about it: It’s not refillable that means more plastic! Skinpotions is not eco-friendly.

Would I buy again? Definitely! I stock up on this every time there is a sale on Lazada!

Claims/benefits: According to their Facebook posts their products have no harsh chemicals, hypoallergenic, Paraben-free, non-toxic, non-comedogenic and 100% safe and natural!

Packaging:  The packaging is cute and unique.  It reminds me of play makeup I had when I was a kid. It has a mirror and comes with an applicator too!

Information:  The packaging misses a lot of information like a list of all the ingredients and their effects, directions for use, warnings, where it was made and expiry date. I think that it is important to have these details because it gives the brand validity.

Consistency/Type: powder

Scent: unscented

Directions for use: apply using a brush or with finger or with the applicator it came with.

Shade range: there are 4 shades to choose from

What I like about it: I bought 2 shades Trisha (Pink) and Czarina (Peachy Coral). You can use it as your eye shadow too. Double the purpose! I didn't have allergic reactions upon using it.

What I don’t like about it: aside from it’s missing info or details, none. I had a little problem with opening Trisha compact that’s why I kind of chipped off a part of it.

Would I buy again? Yes! It’s very affordable and easy to use.
