The valve that laid on top was a struggle to turn. When it's turned the heavy, scratch up door creaks as it's raised open. The heavy scent of death and blood raking through the demon's sense of smell and even laying heavy enough to be tasted.

The pit they see before them is pitch black, almost seeming bottomless. But along the sides near the entrance there are heavy, deep scratches upon the metal, along with dark smears going down into the darkness bellow. There is no ladder, no stair case. Just a plummet down into the unknown abyss bellow.

The inside of the door seems to have more claw marks and completely soaked in a deep red coloration.

It was clear that whatever was thrown down there tried desperately to escape. But judging by the lack of any form of structure to allow one to climb out, failed. Beyond the walls, the lid especially would help in keeping whatever may lurk in the depths down in there.

"...Welcome to the factory, where strange and horrid things happen on a daily basis. I...don't know actually. I do have cat-like features...and I can smell the blood around here very strongly. Not unusual, it's the usual scent near here...along with fur and cloth and metal. But it's unusual for a...human?...Like for to have such amplified senses."

His tail wrapped near his leg as his ears slightly flatten.

The Prototype lifted his head up a little upon hearing the demon's question, softly grunting before he lowered his head. A slight grimace on his muzzle before he shifts his gaze to the side a little.

"Hmm...."

He lets out a soft hum before he shifts a little in his position and focuses upon them.

"I'm certain he'll be fine with you if I were to accompany you. If you did so alone, he may not be fully aware of how much I value you however.."

He looked towards his index finger upon his right hand, looking upon his raised digit's claw before he lightly tapped upon the wooden flooring upon the ground.

"...He tends not to trust those he himself doesn't see on a regular basis. More so than some of the others."
