When he first saw you stumbling across the border of the safe zone your hair was the first thing he noticed

Having pink or purple hair normally wouldn’t be weird but in the apocalypse it really did stand out

I mean where are you finding the hair dye???

The entire first week you’d stayed at the school he longingly just stared at it

From somebody else’s standpoint he might of looked like a total pervert but no he was just really interested in your hair

He doesn’t have an issue with it although he is pushing for you to dye it natural

Not because he doesn’t like it but because he doesn’t want you standing out

He couldn’t handle letting you get captured by raiders

He cares about you too much to lose you (fuck minnie and sophie though lmao)

Despite him being cautious, he really does like your hair

It kind of gives off punk vibes and he definitely digs that (not in that way sillies)

Bonus points if it’s red!

Louis

Louis LOVES your hair and I mean loves it

It’s so colorful and different!

If your hair has several colors he’ll trace his fingers through your hair and try to separate the colors (he doesn’t even notice)

On occasions you say something stupid in front of him he’ll joke about how the hair dye is seeping into your brain

He’d recommend other colors and hair styles that he’d think you’d rock

Once you do eventually run out of hair dye… (crazy how you managed to get so much in the apocalypse) he might secretly go past the safe zone

He knows that there’s around a .5 percent chance any hair dye expired or not is nearby but he just loves you sooo much!

If Marlon catches him he’s definitely getting watch duty for the next two weeks

Clementine

She thinks it’s awesome

Like really fricking awesome

She’s been cutting her hair ever since Lee told her too and your hair kinda makes her miss how long her own used to be before she was forced to cut it

She likes doing tiny braids in it

When she was younger she used to watch superhero cartoons a lot and your hair kinda reminds her of the female characters (which gives her a strong sense of nostalgia)

It’s not just her that likes it though

AJ is mind blown

He loves it so much

He’s never seen anyone with hair that wasn’t natural

If you stop dying it he definitely won’t talk to you for a couple days

Aasim

When you first met Aasim he was sorta cautious of you

Aasim doesn’t try to stand out

He’s okay with observing and watching his environment

While your hair has the opposite effect

You are most definitely going to stand out

At first he didn’t talk to you and just watched you silently

That was until you were both assigned hunting duty so you had to make small talk and you ended up having a lot in common

Since then you’ve been close

He likes your hair but like Marlon he does push you to dye it back to your natural hair color

He thinks it’s kinda dumb how you dyed it in the first place

He’s just concerned for your safety and doesn’t want you getting hurt

Violet

Violet tried so hard not to like it

She had to make herself focus to try to not look at it whenever you too conversed

She isn’t the type to give compliments okay?

Once she subtly talks about how much she really does like it you offer to do hers

She was really excited

Like really excited

So excited that Louis had asked what you’d done to her

You both talked about different colors and styles that you could do to her hair and even your own

You joke about dying it the color violet and surprise surprise she wasn’t amused

But she really likes it overall

She can’t imagine you with natural hair now

Dating Marlon Would Include…

• Marlon is the type of guy to be painstakingly obvious about his feelings — always wanting to be on rotation with you for keeping watch, stammering like there’s no tomorrow, always being close to you so he can keep an eye on you, laughing awkwardly and/or always fidgeting, you get the picture.

- It wasn’t until one night after dinner when Marlon pulled you off to the side to ask you the special question, “Y/n… can we…” he couldn’t finish his sentence because of how nervous he was. You knew what he was trying to ask but you still wanted to hear him say it, so you just looked at him, smiling as Marlon finally mustered up the courage to finish, “Can we be… y’know… boyfriend and girlfriend?”

- You said yes. I mean, why wouldn’t you? He’s fair and good-hearted. Marlon has his faults, sure, but who doesn’t? You accept him.

• You’re his first love

• How does Marlon show affection? A lot of ways! There are times when he won’t be upfront about it. Those times that he argued with you because you were being careless around walkers and almost got bit? It’s because Marlon cares for you and the last thing he wants is for you to get hurt…

• I’m convinced his love language is quality time and/or acts of service

• Because you’re bound to be around Marlon a lot, there is a high chance that you’ll end up being Rosie’s favorite person!

- (Except for Marlon, of course. No one tops him. Or at least in Rosie’s world).

• Marlon’s kisses are gentle and sweet

• I want to say that out of all the Ericson’s boys, Marlon is second when it comes to how lenient he is with PDA, being bested by Louis. It’s not like he has much competition though.

- He’s perfectly fine with kisses on the cheek, hand-holding, things like that. I would say he encourages it, but that’s more Louis’ forte. Marlon is more likely to get shy.

• You no longer have to sleep in your dorm. Instead, you moved yourself to be in Marlon’s room— which is in the old headmaster’s office— which he was elated about.

• He would love Walkman. You find him one on a run and he will marry you on the spot, no joke. I feel like Marlon would be into Metal the most (figures) but Alternative is a nice second.

• Does he get jealous of anybody? Yes… as much as he hates to admit it, there are times Marlon finds himself jealous of Mitch, Omar, and even Louis because he’s scared that he’ll never be good enough for you and that you’re better with someone else, though he wants you to be with him. The same can be said with you getting worked up over Brody but you and Marlon try to communicate about these things as much as possible, so they’re not a problem.

• What helps him calm down? You pull him into a hug, rubbing circles on his back, or running a hand through his hair. <33

• As for your first date, I think Marlon would try his best to be original. Because he wants things to be a bit more private, he’d take you to the shack where the group usually fishes, temporarily making Brody in charge and telling her only to bother you if it’s an emergency. From there, Marlon tried to organize a dinner. Emphasis on try (Omar helped him).

• You both ended up cuddling afterward. Marlon slowly wrapped an arm around you but when it’s time for you to leave— as someone needs you back at the school— Marlon held you for a second longer to kiss you.

TWDG S4 characters when a bubbly Y/N is sad

Violet

She’d find you a bit strange and would tease you but in honesty she loves how bubbly you are

Whenever life gets her down all she has to do is spend some time around you and she feels better

She notices instantly when you’re upset tho and will give it a few minutes before coming up to you

“Hey. What’s up? Why are you all depressed?”

But fr tho that’s her job 😞 LMAO SORRY

But you’ll open up to her and she silently nods along

Whatever it is she gets it

“Yeah…it sucks sometimes…”

She won’t say much but she offers to go somewhere more private so you two can chill and just complain to each other

She’s not all that good at comfort but she’d really try

When your back to normal she’d have a small smile on her face

“Ya happy again now?”

She’d be a bit upset if you’d want to go right back to being around everyone else but she’d join you anyway cuz she’s just happy to see you smile again

Mitch

He doesn’t really get it I mean how can anyone be happy living like this? I mean sure it’s manageable at times but it still sucks

He’d never on his life say it but he does secretly enjoy how happy you are even if he’d tease you for it

When he sees you upset tho I’m so sorry but this man is useless here

He doesn’t notice at first but after Willy or someone points it out he picks up on it and worries a bit

However he just hopes you cheer up on your own and doesn’t say anything

But he does watch out for you in the corner of his eye

He just assumes if it’s really bad you’ll come to him

Cuz he won’t come to you unless your both alone

When you do tell him what’s up he’s still not very helpful

“Damn…that sucks..”

He does care he’s just rubbish at showing it

He will let you stay with him but be warned you’ll both be sat in silence if you’re not in a talking mood

But when you do cheer up he’s relived

again, not that he’d voice it

Marlon

Marlon finds you to be a breath of fresh air, he always has a gentle smile on his face when your around

He’s happy that you can bring the others up too cuz a happy group is a good group yk

Plus you keep him calm too

So when he sees his usual happy friend down in the dumps he’s very confused

What happened to you?

He watches you for a bit then walks over to you and asks if you’re ok and if ya wanna talk

Hell take you up to the office and will listen to you explain why your upset

He listens and offers some advice and comfort

He’ll let you stay with him for a bit and if you like dogs yk he’ll get rosy to give you some comfort hugs and all

He just has normal conversations with you and will say that he hopes you cheer up soon cuz what would they all do without your positive ways

When you cheer up he’ll have a big smile and if your ok with it he’ll pull you in for a hug and definitely does that back pat and rub (yk the that you do to a friend or family to either be like heyy! Or ok that’s enough now)

Louis

HELLO YOUR BASICALLY THE ONLY OTHER PERSON THEIR WHO CAN MATCH HIS ENERGY

Like he needs to see you all happy and lively because that makes him more happy and lively too!

And this mf he instantly knows when you’re down and he will come up to you and just say “aww what’s wrong (name)? You gotta turn that frown upside down!” He might even pull an over the top sad face too

Depending on what kinda person you are this either kind of works or makes it so much worse

If he does realise that he’s not helping he panics a bit like

“Oh no- they really are sad…what do I doooooo?? This is badddd…”

He’s not all that good in serious situations and will try healing you with comedy and laughter

He’ll tell jokes, tease the others at Ericsson’s

Anything to cheer you up

Heaven forbid the moment you actually do cuz this mans energy is amplified by 100

“is that a smile I see?? So mx grumpy finally cheered up? Ha well it seems I’m just the best at curing sadness.” He acts all cocky but he’s just joking

He’s very pleased to see ya back to your regular self again

Aasim

Aasim always found it curious how someone so happy could exist in a world like this

But he’d be lying if he said he didn’t like it

He can’t match your energy but he does support your cheerful ways

He won’t voice it but you do cheer him up when he’s having a bad day

he notices when you’re upset very quickly n all it’s very obvious lmao

He’ll give it a few minutes but after a while he’ll cave and awkwardly walk over to you

“So…you ok? You seem upset…”

You tell him what’s up and he listens

He either gives you advice or will empathise with you saying he gets it

He just kinda silently sits next to you cuz he doesn’t really know what to say

You both just kinda sit around for a while

he won’t really offer it out loud but he doesn’t mind giving you a hug if it will cheer you up

He just waits for you to feel better and is thankful when you do

This man is grateful that you’re the way you are even if he doesn’t voice it a lot

He’s also a silent observer so when he saw you where upset he just quietly watched you

I think he either doubts how good he is at comforting or he’s too preoccupied but he’ll still watch you for you

He’s kinda hoping it’s just a off day and you’ll perk up again in a while

He waits to see if anyone else will check up on you or if you’ll come to him

But if enough time has passed and both of those didn’t happen he’ll slowly make his way over to you

He doesn’t say much but he listens to you

The few times he does speak it’s either reassurance or advice

He will stay with you for as long as he can and if he had to start cooking again he’d let you stand next to him while he does so

When you cheer up again he wont say much but he has a smile on his face

Ruby fully appreciates your bubbly ways and she will usually match your energy when she can

She really thinks you totally brighten up Ericssons!

But today you were acting totally different and she could just sense it

Like there was a shift in the air she just picked up on before she even saw you

Since she gives me like mother friend vibes she totally instantly goes over to ya

Are you ok hun? Ya seem down? What’s happened? Do ya need some space?

She’s there and she will listen to ya 100%

She does whatever she can to be supportive and she might tell a few rubbish puns to make you smile again

She’ll get all protective of ya too like if anyone tries to annoy ya (which I doubt anyone would but yk just incase) she will get so mad at them she’s shout at them and scold them so much

She’ll either stay by you till you cheer up or will give you the space if you need it but the moment she sees that smile she loves so much and that cheery personality she adores she’s matching that happy face

Brody

This girl loves how bubbly you are it’s such a nice change of pace from the usually rubbish day to day apocalypse life

You don’t know how much you can cheer her up and make her feel more relaxed

So she was super quick to notice that you where sad

I don’t think she’d straight away ask if you where ok cuz maybe you needed some space? I mean it’s normal to get upset now a days but this isn’t like you

She’d still stay put but keeps a close eye on you and after a few minutes of watching you mope around she’d walk up to you and ask if you where ok

After you tell her what’s got ya so bummed out she’d do anything to get that smile back

She’d listen to you, give you advice if you wanted it, she’d give you a hug literally anything!

She’d also try to distract you by planning some made up road trip (a beach trip if I remember correctly??)

summary: when you first meet clem, you two seem to butt heads, what happens when you both are working towards the same goal?

when she first arrived at ericsons, you kept your distance. something about her seemed off to you, especially when she threatened poor tenn when she first woke up, you wondered why marlon let her stay. you were with louis that day, listening to his piano while dusting off some old weapons when ruby brought in some kid that kept shouting about some fruit. “hey, little guy, whats your name?” you bent down to his level, he seemed distressed. “aj. wheres clementine?” you raised an eyebrow, “we don’t have any fruit here, aj?” “no! clementine is who i was with! where is she?!” you could hear louis laugh at your misunderstanding in the background. you shot him a glare.

ruby spoke up, “shes restin’ kiddo, best wait ‘till she wakes up” aj shook his head, “no! i need to see her now!” he seemed to be getting agitated. after a few seconds he tried to charge out of the room, ruby, given orders by marlon to check up on him, tried to stop him, only to end up being bit. “shit!” she cussed. you sprung up, stopping aj from leaving while louis checked up on ruby. ruby angrily left the room, rightfully so. you looked at aj, you didn’t really know what to do, he was just a kid, he didn’t know any better. you turned to louis for help. louis nodded, beginning to play his piano again, that seemed to calm aj down.

after a few minutes of listening to louis’ music, some girl walked in, she was roughly the same age as you. she was pretty, you’d give her that. once she came in her and aj hugged. you left the room not long after that, aasim had called for you to complain about marlons new safe zone.

after awhile of being with aasim, everyone was called to eat, you sat at the table with this new girl, violet, marlon and louis. they were playing a game, you weren’t really listening to what though, you were trying to figure this new girl out. she seemed.. weird. something about her warned you, to stay away from her. you weren’t one to believe in gut reactions, but from what your gut was screaming at you right now, you just had to listen. you stood up, “i’m heading to bed, night” and with that you left, a few “goodnights” heard from behind you as you headed to your bedroom. once in there, you got changed and hopped into bed, trying to ignore your continuous thoughts you drifted off to sleep.

you woke up to screaming outside, half asleep, you got out of bed, making your way to the courtyard to see marlon and everyone else, crowded around clem. “she killed brody! she’s a murderer!” marlon shouted. your eyes widened, brody? dead? clementine killed brody? your hands hand a mind of their own as they reached towards your face. you had known brody for ages. how could clem do this? without knowing, you were in a mind of your own, your thoughts taking control of you. you knew you couldn’t trust her. until she started giving proof on how marlon killer brody. marlon wouldn’t kill brody. she was one of our own.

once marlon admitted to it, you were stunned. not only was brody dead, you had been lied to, by a trusted friend. what if it was you in that situation? would he have even hesitated if it was you? you didn’t want to- BANG what? you look to the ground. marlon lay face first on the pavement, blood oozing out from his skull. “what? i aimed for the head?” aj spoke, you looked at clementine wide eyed. “what did you teach this kid?!” louis shouted as the rain got louder, it was harder to hear anyone. violet rushed clementine out of the courtyard and into the school. eventually you went back inside too. you were a firm believer of ‘its the parents fault’. clementine should’ve taught aj not to shoot people. living, breathing, people. aj was just a kid, he didn’t know any better.

the next day, you all held a funeral for marlon and brody, they both deserved that much. when clementine and aj arrived however, you scoffed. how dare she show her face here, after everything she did. you voted to kick her out, you felt bad throwing aj out, but it would feel safer without her there. not even a day later, she was back. though she brought an injured aj with her. you were in the courtyard when willy yelled to you, “get ruby!! we have an injury!!” you nodded, running inside to get the southern girl.

while she was taking care of aj, you stayed close by, keeping an eye on him. you obviously didn’t want him to die, and if ruby needed an extra pair of hands you’d be happy to help. “thank you..” clementine spoke, you twisted your head towards her. “don’t thank me. i’m only here to help aj, not you” you snapped, she didn’t seem to like that. “whats wrong with you? can’t you see that him being hurt hurts me too?” you groaned, you didn’t know how to respond. so you decided not to. louis had told you beforehand about lily, so you werent in the dark. when everyone decided that clementine was to stay and help defend ericsons, you weren’t the happiest

the next few weeks went by slowly. you and clementine did not get along, arguing everytime you two were put together. it got to a point that everyone decided it would be best if you two just didn’t work together. that was until one night. you were up late, keeping watch incase anyone came in the dead of night. clementine and aj had the next shift, though you doubted that aj would actually be awake at that time of night. “you can go now.” you turned around, clementine, she was early for her shift.

“you’re early.” you turned back towards the outside of the walls. she chuckled, “i guess i am” you didn’t respond. there was silence for a few seconds until, “why do you hate me so much?” she asked, you turned back around, her eyes seemed to be filled with sadness, though the rest of her face tried to act tough. you thought about how to respond, “i don’t exactly hate you, i just… don’t like the way you take care of aj” you sighed. “oh. why?” she didn’t try and defend herself, maybe she was open to criticism now? “you always end up getting him hurt, that might just be your luck too, i guess..” she smiled, “we can be safe here. where he doesn’t need to get hurt. that’s what i dream of” you looked at her, she obviously cared about him deeply, you had grown to care about him alot too.

this moment between the two of you, it was peaceful, calming. you enjoyed it? you actually enjoyed being by her side, strange. “why do you hate me?” you retaliated. she chuckled, “i don’t. i just don’t let people walk all over me” were you being that mean to her? “sorry. i wasn’t trying to walk all over you” she looked at you, “really?” she seemed shocked. “yeah.. really”

Y/N POV: (Courtyard)

 "He just mentioned that, so you should probably go do it Tenn, it's your shift for keeping watch," I said with a grin before I turned around and caught sight of Marlon and two other figures in the distance. I assumed they were the two individuals they had saved from the wreckage of the car. It was time to go and greet them. As I approached, familiar faces began to come into focus, their features remaining unchanged from the last time our paths crossed. It was as if time had stood still for them, frozen in a moment.

3RD POV:  (Flashback, Season 1 Travelier Motel)

“Come on Y/N, I know you took it, give it back to me” Duck wailed as he accused his sister Y/N of taking his favorite action figure. Of course, this wasn’t an accusation as Y/N had taken his figurine, but she shook her head and refused to mention anything. "Hey guys, can we please not argue? Lee is swamped with work at the moment, so why don't we just focus on coloring and-" Clementine's words were cut short as Duck suddenly pushed Y/N, causing the 9-year-old to burst into tears. The commotion caught the attention of both Lee and Kenny, who quickly rushed over to see what was happening. Kenny's authoritative voice echoed as he questioned the situation, looking at both his children, Duck and Y/N. With silence as the only response, he let out a sigh and gently lifted Y/N, placing her on the table. "Are you okay, Birdie?" he inquired, using her affectionate nickname. Just like Duck, whose real name was Ken Jr., Y/N was also known by her nickname, Birdie.  Lee's gaze shifted towards Clem, contemplating how he could get some answers from her. "Sweet Pea, would you mind elaborating on what transpired? I assure you, none of you are facing any trouble; we simply seek a sincere and truthful explanation."  Duck hung his head low and admitted, "It wasn't Clem's fault, it was mine." The children had grown accustomed to using the nicknames that the adults had given them - Ken Jr. was known as Duck, Y/N as Birdie, and Clementine as Clem.

(Flashback, Season 3 New Frontier)

Y/N's voice echoed through the woods, filled with desperation and anger. She struggled against the hold of David's worker, her eyes fixed on the scene before her. Clem was on the ground, tears streaming down her face as Duck tried to comfort her. The words spilled out of Y/N, a mix of frustration and fear, as she pleaded for them not to take AJ away. The weight of their shared struggle hung heavy in the air. “You’ve been a huge problem yourself, take her away I never want to see her again” David mentioned to his worker as he stepped closer to Y/N. That’s when the panic set in within her. “NO! Please don’t take me away from my family. Please don’t take the last thing that reminds me of my dad.” she said as she sobbed, a cry so terrible like the day at the motel when Duck had pushed her down. That was the last time Y/N saw AJ, Clem, and Duck.

Y/N POV: (Present Time)

Startled by the sight of my friends, I exclaimed, "CLEM?! DUCK!" before rushing towards them and enveloping them in a warm hug. Through tears, I explained how I had searched for them after the incident, only to be surrounded by walkers, forcing me to flee for safety. Both Duck and Clem exclaimed my name in unison as they embraced me tightly, indicating that they had reunited after the events with the New Frontier. As I released them and dried my tears, I inquired, "There was someone else with you two, who was it?" “You might have to see it yourself; it’ll be hard to explain.” Clem chuckled softly as she brushed away her tears. "Looks like you guys are all pretty close," Marlon remarked, a wide grin on his face. "You should go check on the kid, he's with Louis in the music room. I'm sure Y/N can show you the way." A kid?

(Music Room)

 Louis' piano skills always captivated me, and I couldn't deny the feelings I had for him, even though he didn't reciprocate them. His eyes revealed that I was just a friend to him. "Lou, I have visitors," I announced, spotting a child watching him play. "AJ, come say hello." Clem mentioned. AJ... the same cheerful baby who used to cling to me all those days ago. Would he remember me? AJ suddenly spun around and within a split second, he was wrapping his arms around my legs. Overwhelmed with emotion, I dropped to my knees, tears streaming down my face as I embraced him. "When we found him, he kept asking about you. You've clearly made a lasting impression on him. We even showed him pictures of you to keep memories alive... we thought you were gone," Duck revealed as he patted my back. Louis exclaimed, "What a fantastic family gathering this is!" as he gazed at Duck with an unfamiliar expression on his face. Despite the odd look, I brushed it off, feeling grateful that my family had finally arrived. "I'm here to stay, AJ. I'll never leave again," I declared as I rose to my feet and wiped away my tears.

(Courtyard, After Dinner)

Louis declared it was time for an entertaining game of War as he revealed a deck of cards. "You're in for a challenge tonight," I teased, but he just grinned skeptically. "What are the rules?" Clem inquired. "Simple," Violet explained, "each player gets a stack of cards and flips one over. The highest card wins." Louis flashed a grin at Clem before speaking up, "The victor will have the chance to pose a question to either Clem or Duck." Marlon chimed in, "And let's not forget about Y/N, there's more to her than meets the eye." I couldn't help but chuckle at his comment. Duck, ever curious, asked, "What happens if one of us wins?" Louis replied, "In that case, the winner can ask any of us a question," as he began shuffling the deck of cards. As we each drew a card from the deck, it was evident that Clem was the clear winner. "What's the most disgusting thing you've ever eaten?" she inquired. The answer came easily for the three of us after mistakenly consuming a piece of our group member's leg. Violet, Marlon, and Louis shared their experiences, but none could compare to the revulsion of ours. The moment they learned the truth, they were all visibly taken aback. Louis emerged as the victor, and without hesitation, he inquired of Clem, "Have you ever had a boyfriend?" I had anticipated this question, so why did it catch me off guard? I slumped my head in disappointment on Duck's shoulder, and to my surprise, he didn't pull away. There was something changed about my brother; perhaps it was the realization that he had believed me to be dead for a year. Our sibling dynamic seemed more subdued, and I could sense that our disagreements would be far less frequent. It was then that I noticed the same expression on Louis' face as he gazed at Duck earlier. Marlon emerged victorious this time, taking a moment to ponder his question before speaking. "You three couldn't have been on your own all this time. Who looked after you? Family? Anyone?" The room fell into a heavy silence as we all reflected on the past. Knowing that neither Duck nor Clem wanted to respond, I decided to speak up. "We had two main caretakers, Lee, a close friend, and Kenny, my father." Louis continued his winning streak by securing one last victory before hesitating to ask a rather serious question. "Just spit it out," Violet remarked, rolling her eyes. "It's not a lighthearted question, but have you ever been in a situation where you had to harm someone you cared about?" Louis eventually inquired. The silence that followed was not only audible but palpable. "Yes," Clem responded. "Please, continue," Louis urged, attempting to extract more information. "It was a simple yes or no question." “I think we’re done playing tonight.” Duck declared, giving Louis a stern look before leading the way back inside with Clem following closely. Louis, feeling guilty, turned to Violet and mentioned that she had wanted him to ask. I let out a sigh and made a move to leave as well, telling Louis to just forget about it. He nodded in understanding, dropping his head in defeat. Marlon then reassured Louis, expressing his hope that Louis would inform the others that there was no ill intent. He ended on a positive note, suggesting a potential long-term plan for Clem, AJ, and Duck to stay and leaving me feeling relieved that my family was back for good.

(Forest Hunting)

Louis pleaded, his puppy-dog eyes trying to melt my anger away. Sure, he was cute, but his attempts to smooth things over with just an apology weren't going to cut it this time. Especially after him flirting with Clem the night before. Aasim trudged deeper into the woods, clearly fed up with the situation. "This is so embarrassing, just admit your feelings for him already, Y/N, so we can put an end to his annoying pleading," he muttered under his breath. Suddenly, Louis turned to me with a puzzled expression, demanding, "What is he talking about, Y/N?" His face twisted in a mix of surprise and probably disapproval.

Louis POV:

Shock coursed through me as I realized the girl I had fallen for a year ago actually loved me back. My mind was a whirlwind of emotions until Y/N's tears brought everything to a halt. It pained me to see her beautiful face contorted in sadness, someone I cared for deeply. "Why... Why are you crying? Let's go back to school and discuss this," I urged, desperate to understand her tears.

 As I held Y/N in my arms, I attempted to console her by expressing my regret for causing any pain. I mentioned my misunderstanding about her feelings towards Duck, assuming she had a romantic history that was still affecting her. I apologized for my actions with Clementine, hoping to alleviate her distress and prevent any further tears from falling. Our conversation took place in a moment of vulnerability, seeking to mend any hurt feelings and reassure her of my intentions. Y/N finally managed to speak through her sniffles, revealing that Duck was actually her brother. The revelation brought a sense of relief, but also confusion. "Your brother? Why didn't you mention it earlier?" I asked, feeling a bit foolish for not realizing sooner. Y/N explained, "I mean, we do look quite similar." As she wiped her nose, I couldn't help but notice the striking resemblance between the two siblings. It was a moment of realization that brought everything into perspective. At that moment, a smile spread across my face, and I made the spontaneous decision to draw her close for a kiss. We lingered in that embrace for a while before parting, and I couldn't help but playfully tease her with the words, "you silly girl, my silly girl."

Clem POV:

“That stupid Louis he better treat my little sister with good care” Duck said as he watched Louis and Y/N from a distance. “Alright that’s enough. Stop spying on them, it’s creepy.” I mentioned. “Maybe I should’ve mentioned that I didn’t like women from the beginning,” Duck said. “It would’ve been a better idea to just tell them Y/N was your sister, not just that you’re gay Duck.” I said before stepping away.

Clementine: Clementine loved how Y/N treated theory siblings. They were practically attached at the hip. It made Clem’s heart warm when she saw them chatting together, or Y/N reading them a bed-time story as the sun began to set. “They’re all I have,” Y/N would say about them. “I think I need them more than they need me.” Clementine would often join them, holding AJ’s hand while Y/N held their siblings, and wandered around the yard, smiling and chattering. They felt like a family.

Marlon: Marlon smiled as he watched the two bond and chat. It was always heartwarming to see connections that weren't destroyed along with the rest of society. “You two are cute.” Y/N shrugged, passively brushing off the compliment. “We’re just us. Nothing special.” Marlon wanted to contest that, but didn’t. “Well, trust me. It’s not normal for a lot of other people.” Including him. But maybe that was a story for another day.

Louis: Louis smiled as he wandered up to Y/N, smiling as he heard them reading a story to their sibling. “How’s it going?” Louis asked. “Good book?” Y/N smiled and chuckled, Y/N smiling up at them and their sibling, beaming. They adored Louis, and it made Y/N’s chest beautiful and warm. It finally felt like they were rebuilding a brand new family. Louis smiled and scooped up the child, smiling at their giggle. “”Well, can I join?” Y/N smiled, cheeks rosy and warm, so thankful at how involved Louis always was.

Violet: Violet smiled, arms crossed as she leaned back against one of Ericson’s walls. She was watching as Y/N played together in the yard, trying to drain some of the kid’s energy before they went to sleep. Violet scurried up, snatching the child from Y/N and taking over. Violet was the perfect companion for Y/N, just based on how open her heart was to accepting their sibling. Finally, as they made their way inside for bed, Y/N smiled. “You two are cute playing together.” Violet smiled, a sense of pride swelling in her chest.

Mitch: Mitch loved every second he got to spend with Y/N. One of the biggest reasons they bonded were their parental roles and love for the little one’s they were taking care of. “It’s nice to have someone else who gets it.” Y/n smiled at his comment. “It’s nice for them to have someone they can relate with too,” Y/N said. Mitch looked out into the lawn, watching as Willy and Y/N’s sibling played, and realized they were right. “That’s a great way of thinking about that.” He said, smiling authentically. Their hearts grew warm and their cheeks flushed, a family finally coming together.

Aasim: Aasim had zero idea how to take care of a kid. He felt as though he was still a kid himself. But seeing Y/N do it, they did it effortlessly. It was one of the many reasons Aasim admired Y/N, and one was one of the people he wanted to be more like. “How did you learn how to do all this?” Y/N shrugged, smiling as they watched their sibling running around in the yard with the other kids. “You have to learn as you go.” They scoffed. “At least, these days you need to.” It shocked Aasim that they became so good all on their own. “You're amazing,” was all he could say. Realizing he said it out loud, he turned bright red and turned away. Y/N just smiled, chuckling to themselves.

Omar: Omar smiled whenever he saw the t3wo together - which was practically always. Oftentimes, in order to get rto know each other better when they first arrived, Omar invited them to help him cook in the kitchen. Of course, Y/N always gave their sibling the easiest task. “You’re really good at caring for them,” Omar had mentioned. Y/N shrugged. “I’ve literally known them since before they were born. I don’t know who I’d be without them.” “Or what their life would be without you.” Omar said. Y/N had never thought of it that way. They smiled, thankful that Omar understood, even if he didn’t quite know how to parent.

Brody: Brody would smile, hugging her arms as she watched the two do everything together. Cooking, chores, cleaning, playing. Every time Y/N had to leave without them, the child would sit by the front gates and wait, silently. “You two are so attached,” Brody said, more so observing rather than having any judgement. “It’s easy to be,” Y/N said softly. “How can you not love the kid?” Brody smiled, thankful there were still soft and sweet people in the world.
