[do y'all see the differences to her? she no longer wears her nose/belly button piercings. her hair's back to its natural colour. she lost a bit of weight-you can see it more in her face; her face used to be a lot rounder. it's not noticeable but she's also a little bit taller now too. i switched up her brows & she also likes to do more subtle makeup looks now.]

the brunch wasn't formal by any means. guests could grab food & eat any time. as they're talking, heaven does just that & chooses to sit next to liyah. even though there were multiple seats around anastasia. liyah could feel ana's eyes looking her way so she quickly stands up. the last thing she wanted today of all days, was unnecessary drama.

saint truly was an early sleeper & he was fast asleep...on kalil. kalil's awake & is just about to explain the potential misunderstanding. but liyah just casually wishes him goodnight before going straight upstairs. she didn't need kalil's explanation. saint was loyal almost to a fault so she didn't suspect he was cheating on dirk. & honestly, even if he was? oh well. saint was always right & dirk would just have to get over it.

meanwhile in del-sol, ana arrives at the bailey-moon mansion to pick up octavia for lunch at utopia. though she stays outside, she had no intentions of going inside & getting her mood ruined by seeing thorne's face.

the estate was stunning, the type of place liyah could only envision living in. as she goes to leave, she crosses paths with nathaniel. & liyah's mind reels. ishaan was out of the question; & cairo continued to drag his feet. if he wanted to be serious all these years, he would've asked her. & liyah was not the type to sit around & wait. but nathaniel...there was no family out there more wealthy, prestigious or prominent than the brindletons. he suited liyah's ambitions perfectly.
