Papa Grande? Headcannon, or x reader your pick

AAAWHHH HELL YEAHHH okay so papa grande is like william and frankie in that he doesn't have a place in my main au, but he is included in my slendermansion one

slenderman keeps an eye on proxies all over the world, and at some point he brings them into the mansion. papa grande is a travelling magician. he's been almost everywhere in europe, putting on shows and killing select people from the audience. under the influence of slenderman, and his own fits of hysteria, he keeps the people he kills to be apart of his "audience".

the reason he travels so much is to one, get away from his crimes. and two, because he likes the change of scenery. he spent his entire childhood being praised by an audience and having expectations loaded onto him. the fame never left his head, and he still craves that fame. maybe because it gives him a sense of comfort. to know he didn't go through that pain for nothing.

a few years before he's welcomed to the mansion, papa grande landed in england where he met nathan in an old auditorium. the two of them formed a father-son bond. papa grande soon met nathan's friends, candy pop and jason, as well as his wife: ciara.

papa grande came to the mansion with the dollmaker. papa grande was in england while the dollmaker was in russia.

here are the little headcanons now :D

bisexual (he/him) and he did have some romantic relations w his bff ricky in the past. Ask him about it and he'll probably Just Laugh. Confused how anyone even knows who Ricky is.

he keeps a locket with melanie's picture

as well as a photo album with various pictures of them and places they wanted to go together.

papa grande teaches magic tricks to nathan and jason. he saves the best magic tricks for jason because he wholeheartedly believes jason is a fellow magician.

the first time papa grande met candy pop, candy pop tried to turn papa grande into a sugar daddy.

but that didn't work. so now candy pop is just an annoying pest who keeps asking papa grande to reveal his magic secrets.

the kids love his magic tricks. especially lucy and ben. sally always gets papa grande to perform during mansion parties.

yes he's a god at bingo

he likes jazz music as well as old ass songs from the 50s which get him made fun of.

he has a tophat collection

his bedroom in the mansion is a stage room. it's like laughing jack's circus room but smaller. there's a little area backstage with a bed and other personal belongings.

sometimes he comes into the mansion carrying dead bodies in a box or bag.

papa grande aggressively curses in italian

HE DESPISES AMERICAN FASTFOOD. A SINGLE MEAL FROM MCDONALDS COULD KILL HIM.

also he hates long staircases for reasons i don't even have to state.

Something cute to note: The Princess in the Shifting Mound's heart is the first Princess you ever met during your playthrough.

Except, y'know, more rounded because of all of the experiences she's had via the Shifting Mound collecting her own incarnations.

No matter what, though, she's fallen in love with the Hero as a result of him helping her become a complete person.

my fave part of this is that even the stranger princess is allowed a happy ending.

Just finished Minagoroshi! I think this is the longest one according to my steam time lol

Random messy thoughts and spoilers below

Overall I really liked this one- did it feel slow at times..? Yeah. There was a lot of dealing with the consultation center GJFJD

But tbh, it felt important- you really feel the characters struggles that way! Not to mention all of this emphasizes how much these characters love each other- which is one of my fave aspects of the games XD

I love Hanyuu she’s so cute (playing with original sprites tho cuz i uhh. Don’t like her Updated look.)

Tbh the whole ending bit of the cast being like “Hanyuu we all died cuz u didn’t believe” kinda made me sad cuz I kinda related to her despair- but it is important and I respect the authors decision to stick to the message and themes. I think I really should take these themes more to heart lol,,

Uhm what else- I loved seeing more Shion she’s great XD also having Ooishi as an ally was cool to see as well.

Irie still needs JAIL I’m sorry it’s so hard for me to get behind his character GKGKH

WAIT I should mention the uhh. Hinamizawa Syndrome stuff is wild to me- this is the second VN type game I’ve played where the reason characters are killing each other (and sometimes themselves) is cuz of a drug made to kill lots of ppl (if u know the game you get a cookie gkgkg)

Tbh not a huge fan of when games pull this kinda stuff, but it doesn’t ruin it for me lol I still thought “yeah that makes sense”

OH speaking of the ending CAN I SAY THAT RIKA SAVING SATOKO, EVEN THO SHE COULD HAVE RAN AWAY AND SAVED HERSELF WAS THE CUTEST THING EVER??? AAAWHHH she was NOT gonna let her bestie die!! All the Rika and Satoko stuff this chapter was so sweet I just- aaaa they love each other so much 💚😭

Sooo yeah, overall I thought it was kinda cool. Not in my top 3 but to be fair there are some STRONG games in this series- hard to compete with XD
