Girl I cannot believe it's been a year since rebirth... like... already?! So many things happened too wow. I feel like it was... so far yet yesterday ya know? Idk how we recovered from it really. Probably not fully XD

I remember you told me you watched everything on twitch with a friend like the day it release or just the day before. It was like a marathon and you were so much sleep deprived and tired too XD (I think we all had the same reaction to the fucking boxes 🤣)

Playing it myself without spoils was a crazy ass experience too. I finally had figured out how to remote play on my computer in my room (bc well roommates) so everytime I was free, I played it! And finished it in just 2 weeks. Even after playing OG it was phenomenal. Not perfect but still a good game with incredible story driven moments and characters.

You might remember our chat in dm each time I had a big playing session. And omg the final act when I played until 3am.... (should I stop after the temple of the ancients? Nope straight to the end!) Incredible.

I DO remember, yes!!! In DMs we were screaming lolol. Laughing over Elena and the silly stuff. And Aerith’s fate….dude I still haven’t processed everything. I only got to play through it once on a friend’s console and now everything for me is so DIFFERENT. But lowkey, this fandom and the hype around that game got me through 2024. I’m really grateful for that because I can’t explain how unstable and constantly moving my life has been lmao.

It WAS a great game, absolutely. Beautiful and big….such good music that I’m still listening to….

Anyway, yeah it’s been so fun being in both Soulsborne and FF7 while our fandoms explode with new stuff. You guys have been a blast to react to everything with.

Rebirth was fabulous. I’m so, so hyped for part 3 and we may get a title in 2025….soooooo :))
