Hey hey! Thank you :3 I was doing pretty badly pre-Christmas and kinda went into shutdown for a while because everything got too much, but I'm just starting to emerge into the light again x3

Hmm, that's a tough one because there's a lot, but some of it would be too spoilery to say since it might still end up being shown in the game, haha. Or it's already in-game and vague/open to interpretation.

Also, I don't know if what I think might be fun would necessarily be someone else's idea of fun x3

I guess one of the biggest facts that hasn't been fully shown yet is just how much of a perv Blue Blythe is xD There are little bits here and there, but they're mostly accusations by Orange (which are largely completely true x3)

How far that gets taken in-game will depend on how comfortable Blue's lovely VAs are with the content. I don't think I want to make it full-on 18+ nsfw, but there's been a kind of bondage scene with Blue haunting my brain for a while now, haha. I haven't started writing it, but I always keep little notes on my phone when things come to me so that one's probably gonna make the game when Blue's route is eventually finished!

Aaaand, speaking of pervs, Orange is kind of a closet perv x3 Orange may never admit that and be forever insulted by the mere suggestion of it, but it doesn't change the fact, haha. Orange would just be much more subtle than Blue when it comes to that sort of thing.

On the smaller side though, I guess there's stuff like the fact that Orange is actually a lot more dangerous than Blue even though it may not seem like it x3 The pair of them may fight over MC, and sometimes, it might even seem like Blue wins, but really, Orange will always be the victor because Orange will always find a way to outsmart Blue.

Also, not really related to the characters I guess, but a bonus fact is that Blue Blythe could potentially have been voiced by Philip Kraaijenhof (who voiced the captor in my game The Hostage & also Rhime in Tunnel Vision) instead of Dominic! Philip's audition for Blue Blythe was fantastic, and I knew I wanted to work with him on something from the moment I heard it. Ultimately, I went with Dominic because his voice fit the character just a tiiiiny bit better and had a slight edge on complementing Phonobabble's to complete the characters as twins :3 I hope you're doing well and that 2024 turns out to be an awesome year for you ^-^

Jeremiah x Thomas has SO MANY GOOD IDEAS. (Which like warning for the talk of incest and sexual abuse and the like?)

- The first one I was talking about of him holding back, Thomas dying, then it leads to Wayleska.

- Ya got cheating Thomas 👀

- Yandere Jeremiah who takes out Martha to have Thomas

- Martha dying somehow (not by Miah like the last one) and Jeremiah being there to comfort Thomas eventually, after a while, things could maayybe get a little spicy with them lol

- Jeremiah accepting Thomas' offer to join them for dinner, becoming part of the family, and Wayleska starts earlier after Thomas dies as they already know each other.

- Or Jeremiah saving Thomas that night in the alley as he's invited to the movie with them too. (Which can tie into the earlier one where he comforts Thomas through his grief of Martha dying.)

Aaaand continuing on that thought!! (This is where the fucked up shit is really gonna start lol)

Jeremiah saves Thomas, whether or not he's confessed his true feelings to Thomas is up for debate in my head. Probably not tho? But he can't save him forever and eventually Thomas is killed.

Now, Jeremiah and Bruce both feel like they can't protect those they love and want justice. Jeremiah is gonna take care of his little brother, of course, it's what Thomas would've wanted. And he reminds Jeremiah of him so much... And maybe he's been fantasizing too much for too long without relief. Get where I'm going with this? Jeremiah takes out his grief and sexual frustrations on Bruce. He corrupts Bruce and accidentally calls him Thomas on more than one occasion, but Bruce is a good, little brother and wants to make Jeremiah happy. So, if he sees him as Thomas sometimes and it makes him smile, then he'd be Thomas to him. Maybe that's the only time Jeremiah is even Jeremiah anymore. Maybe the rest of the time it's fucked him up so much that he just hurts Bruce physically or verbally (when Alfred isn't around) because the reminder hurts. But, also, protecting Bruce from everything is hard when he's running off getting into danger, so sometimes he has no choice. Tough love and all that, right?

Of course, I also like the idea of Valeyne being introduced into this thanks to someone on here. (If you see this, hi, idk if you wanted to be tagged and credited for this spiral of thought lol. Lemme know if you do 'cause I'll be happy to tag ya!)

Jerome treating Bruce as Bruce in his own, strange way, and Bruce likes it. He's already being abused, so he doesn't even take issue with that. He's just happy to have someone see him as himself and not his father anymore. And maybe he's really into the danger Jerome brings with him like it's his shadow. Jerome lets him get into dangerous situations, he is the dangerous situation most the time, and he just laughs about it. Miah certainly wouldn't have been laughing.

And he's a good listener so, of course, he made the right decision when it comes to the choice of the beverages. Aaaand he can be a little shit all the same, in the best way possible! In this house, we love a man who can do both 😌

Dial-up internet noises - Shelby, I CACKLED. And I'm glad you felt something during the KIA agent's part, however that may sound lol. I really wanted to capture those emotions and make you care about that poor guy even with so little time spent with him story-wise.

And it makes sense, yes! This Reader is capable of many things, I think they are a bit surprised that they show their vulnerable side so easily when it comes to Neil, but they can't help it and I don't blame them. And a drink of choice thing is such a great tool to tell a little bit about Reader without going into lengthy descriptions, I can't resist using it whenever I introduce a new reader.

also i am not super in love with his live action looks..? like he's just.. so pale? something is missing. i think he should be darker blue. but oh well. the voice was top notch. the movements and the eyes and the everything was great. it's just the color i think.

because i am That Fan, i'm gonna add onto this excellent & ship-neutral piece of meta... and speculate/follow on its logical implications.

Remember how Keith failed to "get through" to "Kuron" by calling them "brothers"? Remember how Keith, in a last ditch effort that showed him at his most emotionally vulnerable (& at PEACE with that), finally said aloud the one thing he spent the entire series proving over & over again?

...aaaand then neither man was allowed to be alone together onscreen ever again.

Part of Shiro buckling down on rejecting his memories of being [Kuron] means that Shiro ALSO divorced himself from confronting Why Kuron Couldn't Kill Keith: "Kuron" was in love with him.

This is, obviously, never said outright or acted on: "Kuron" was being used by Haggar to sabotage Team Voltron from within, especially through alienating the one person consistently capable of seeing through to the "real" Shiro (Keith). In addition, Shiro first met Keith when the latter was a teen & Shiro an "adult" (18-ish): any attraction Shiro had towards the "grown up" Keith (18-ish) who rescued him? Yeah, Shiro would shut that down HARD. The third big inhibitor from Shiro's POV was his having an "expiration date": Shiro had spent the vast majority of his life believing he'd die young (or be otherwise "incapable").

Then Keith very conveniently gets aged up & Shiro aged DOWN (thanks, Time Dilation!). Shiro REACTS to seeing the Very Grownup Keith (21-ish) as, I assume from Fandom Reactions, any adult attracted to adult males would ("flustered gay disaster-ing" is a term i've seen used). Any obstacles from Shiro's POV of being "too old" or otherwise having a power imbalance were decidedly Debunked.

Then they have an emotionally intense battle to the not-death because Keith pulled a Steve Rogers about fighting his best friend (the person he loves most): both Shiro & Bucky are able to Fight against their Programming because they share that same devotion.

Shiro's exceedingly OOC avoidance of Keith post-reembodiment is consistent with the framework of Shiro distancing himself from being [Kuron]: by avoiding accountability of the pain "Kuron" caused, Shiro also avoided the [character development] and emotional experiences he had.

So Shiro never follows up on Keith's Love Confession and, eventually Shiro's Avoidance of Keith results in Keith believing that said confession saved Shiro but killed whatever relationship they had (past or future). The ball was in Shiro's Court and, in the VLD shown to audiences, Shiro STUFFS THAT BALL IN A CLOSET FOREVER. Leaving Keith to slowly remove himself from the life of the man he loves until he basically cedes their entire home planet (& even some of the Paladins) to Shiro in their not-divorce.

Now, assuming VLD's writers Actually Cared about the most consistently emphasised relationship in the SERIES (Lotora is Plot Pivotal but Lotor himself doesn't get to interact with Allura personally until mid-series)... Shiro would have gotten Called Out or Forced Into Acting on his disassociation from "Kuron" & all the emotional turmoil he experienced.

My best guesses on "when" this would happen are, 1) Keith taking the hardest hit from the Robeast fight on Voltron & subsequently falling into a coma or, 2) Zethrid pointing a gun at Keith because she's mistaken Axca & Keith as being Het for each other (disproven by Veronica in the rewritten s8, likely by Shiro in the original). I lean towards the Former instance because... Shiro ran to the Black Lion and personally carried out Keith's comatose body & Keith's survival was genuinely in question.

For Shiro, who has spent the entire series being Saved By Keith, Keith's injuries would be a wake up call that Keith is Not Actually Invulnerable: for the first time ever in their relationship, Shiro would face the possibility that he could outlive Keith.

Shiro is Eerily Absent in the scenes showing the Paladins in the hospital but, even in the hastily edited VLD S8 we got, Keith only "wakes up" from his coma when he Hears Shiro delivering his Epic Speech: perhaps the original "wake up" scene also featured Keith being tragically alone, perhaps this was followed by Shiro Angsting about it because the ONE TIME he WASN'T at Keith's bedside was the time Keith needed him most.

I'm inclined to think that, originally, at least ONE paladin would have brought up the elephant in the room that was "why is Shiro Being Weird about Keith"? Perhaps Keith's comforting Lance on getting "dumped" by Allura would have prompted Lance to Comment on The Shiro Thing: maybe it would have been Pidge or another Holt (Colleen, maybe, who would have Stood In as Shiro's family on Earth). Even Iverson or James Griffin could have Called Shiro Out on his Weird Distance from his Protege-turned-Best Friend: even as the Hero of Humanity, the Poster Boy of the Garrison, the Captain of the Atlas... it seems impossible for the Distance between Shiro & Keith to have gone unadressed. Keith Nearly Dying was likely Shiro's "wake up" call; Keith's waking up to (or without) Shiro would be where Shiro would Stop Avoiding Keith; Shiro's Rally for the Alliance members to spend their Last Day On Earth with the ones they care about would logically result in Shiro Showing Up for Keith & FINALLY responding to Keith's Love Confession.

How, exactly, Shiro and Keith would resolve that Unaddressed "I Love You" is pure speculation: regardless of its outcome, Shiro would reconcile "Kuron" as part of himself, Keith & Shiro would still be Best Friends, both men would be canonically confirmed as queer.

To Speculate on Outcomes: 1. Keith preemptively brother-zones Shiro out of Self-Preservation (do note that NEITHER of these asian men have Actual Siblings & that east asian languages are much more casual about calling people by familial address), gets Called Out & [emotional conversation ensues].

2. admittance of Mutual Attraction and love (though what "kind" of love might be left open-ended, for "now").

3. Shiro rejects romantic love from Keith: they still love each other, they are still Best Friends.

4. Shiro has to open himself up to being the most emotionally vulnerable he has ever been.

5. Shiro tells Keith that [Kuron] had a crush on or had fallen in love with Keith... and Keith forces Shiro to Acknowledge that [Kuron] & Shiro are the Same Person.

6. Both Black Paladins are Emotionally Vulnerable, the screen pivots away with the Implication that they've started Kissing ("Last Day On Earth", remember?).

Shiro & Keith starting a romantic relationship is not hugely relevant to the series' overall plot. It might have given Extra Symbolism to Shiro piloting Black [& Keith, Red] while Allura has her Epic Alchemist Duel with Honnerva... but the Big Character Moments there would be Lance, supporting Allura by "letting her go" [& piloting Blue in her stead]; Allura, reclaiming her Agency via Rescuing Lotor; and Lotor, possibly alongside Honnerva (who goes Full Thanos over this).

While not key to the Ultimate Plotline of the final season, the relationship between Shiro & Keith very much embodied the "spirit" of Connection that was Voltron's thematic core: whether the SS Sheith sailed or not, Shiro & Keith's Character Arcs were shaped by their Bond. By distancing these characters from each other to Avoid The L Word between two male leads, the edited season 8 audiences saw denied Shiro AND Keith of any emotional resolution at the series' end. Both characters deserved Better and all fans can Agree on that much, even without consensus on which Ships "should" have sailed.

Me, My Self, and I: An Analysis of the Operation Kuron Storyline

Back when seasons 3, 4, and 5 released on Netflix, Voltron fans were split into two camps regarding what was going on with Shiro: One camp insisted that we were still seeing the same Shiro as the one we saw in the first two seasons, while the other argued that the current Shiro was a clone programmed with the memories of the original.

On the surface, the show’s 6th season appeared to side with the clone theory fans, and I saw multiple people who had argued for it being the same Shiro lamenting because they felt that all the development Shiro had gotten after the end of Season 2 had been wasted now that we knew the Shiro we’d been following since Season 3 wasn’t the real one.

Even then, however, fans who supported the clone theory were upset because they felt that the resolution of the original Shiro’s consciousness being transferred into the clone body was effectively killing off a separate, unique character who deserved to have his own life independent of the original Shiro.

Yet while I could understand where both sides’ complaints were coming from, I never had that same feeling of outrage.

At the time, I assumed it was just because I noticed that it served as a bit of meta commentary on how the original 80s cartoon took two identical looking characters in GoLion and melded them into a single character.

But after talking to @leakinghate​ and @dragonofyang​ a while back, I realized that there was a deeper meaning and symbolism to the whole Operation Kuron storyline that, in hindsight, I had managed to pick up on subconsciously thanks to being exposed to similar ideas in other stories.

And once I became aware of those similarities, I couldn’t help but look back at Voltron and realize that many of the assumptions the fandom has about the details of Clone!Shiro’s story are not actually supported by the show’s lore.

For example, despite the paladins referring to him as such in Seasons 6 and 7, the idea that the Shiro we see in Seasons 3-6 was a clone in the usual sense that we expect from science fiction - that is, being a unique individual made from an existing character’s DNA with their own separate consciousness who develops their own identity and personality independent of the person they were created from - is not actually supported by the show’s lore.

For starters, the only people who use the word clone to refer to the other Shiro are the human characters, who do not have any intel on how “Kuron” was created. Meanwhile, none of the characters who are involved in Operation Kuron use the word clone to refer to him at any point in the series. In fact, even Haggar herself treats “Kuron” and Shiro like they’re the same person when she’s telling him to lead Keith away in S6E05. When you would think that if there was no point in pretending anymore she would at least acknowledge that he’s not the original.

Furthermore, based on what we are shown of the technological and magical capabilities of the Galra empire, it is not possible for Haggar or the Galra to just download Original!Shiro’s memories into Clone!Shiro’s head. Pidge and Hunk speculate in S2E03 about the possibility that the Empire implanted fake memories of escaping in Shiro’s head via his prosthetic arm are part of an elaborate trap. But not only are they proven wrong, but the series never even confirms that such a thing is within the mystical or technological capabilities of the empire.

The Galra military is never shown doing anything tech based with memory manipulation or the kind of brainwashing that would be required to make “Kuron” think that he’s the real Shiro.

Meanwhile on the mystical front, the only person in the empire who is shown doing anything that involves messing around with other people’s minds is Haggar. And the only abilities that we have seen her demonstrate in that regard are:

Looking into someone’s mind and viewing their memories (seen with Zarkon in S3E07).

Using a person as a conduit for Haggar to spy on the person’s allies (seen with Narti in S4E03 and Shiro in Seasons 5-6).

Removing a person’s spirit/consciousness from their body and storing it inside herself (seen in Season 8 with the spirits of the original Paladins).

Forcing someone to comply with her orders and bend to her will (seen with Shiro in S6E04-5, Lotor in S8E06).

Flipping a psychic kill switch and remotely killing someone from a distance (seen with Luka in S8E01).

Projecting someone’s consciousness outside of their body (Seen with Zarkon in S2E03, S2E07, and S2E12).

Transferring a person’s consciousness from one body to another (Seen with Myzax in S1E02 and Prorok in S2E03).

Nowhere does she demonstrate the ability to create an exact copy of a person’s memories and personality that can then be implanted into another person’s mind so thoroughly that they think they are the first person.

Based on what we’ve been shown of Haggar’s capabilities, the only way it’s even possible for the clone to have Shiro’s memories and personality is for Haggar to transferring Shiro’s spirit into a new body.

Which is pretty much the same thing that we’ve already sen her doing when she creates her Robeasts in Seasons 1-2.

She transfers the test subject’s quintessence from their original body into their larger, robotic one. And her words to Myzax in S1E02 Some Assembly Required indicate that the Robeasts are all meant to remain aware of themselves in their larger form and have all of their memories intact.

Because why would Haggar bother asking if Myzax wanted revenge against Shiro if he wasn’t even going to remember anything after she turned him into a Robeast?

This basically implies that all of the extra Shiro bodies that we saw at the cloning facility in S6E05 The Black Paladins were basically the organic version of empty Robeast shells - lifeless and incapable of independent movement until Haggar does her ritual to transfer the pilot/model’s quintessence into the new body.

And she has previously demonstrated that physical distance from her target is not an obstacle to being able to transfer a person’s soul from Point A to Point B. Because Season 8 shows that Zarkon was one of the spirits trapped inside her mindscape, even though she wasn’t anywhere near the planet he died on in S5E02.

In fact, “Kuron” being Shiro’s soul moved to a new body would also explain how Haggar and the Operation Kuron staff knew to release “Kuron” when they did. How could Haggar know Shiro was missing from Team Voltron unless she already had the ability to locate, and therefore manipulate his consciousness.

But there’s still one question about the logistics and timeline of “Kuron’s” creation.

Because in S6E06, Shiro indicates that his consciousness has been inside the Black Lion since the end of Season 2.

So how exactly could Haggar have yanked his spirit into a new body if he was inside the Black Lion from the end of season 2?

Well perhaps it’s something akin to how Steven’s gem turned into a copy of him when White Diamond removed it in the finale of Steven Universe Season 5.

That even if she couldn’t get his entire soul before he got absorbed by the Black Lion in S2E13, she only needed a fraction of Shiro’s consciousness in order to animate the new body.

In theory, this could hypothetically allow her to split Shiro’s mind into multiple bodies at once, explaining why S6E05 showed that she had made so many extra bodies.

It would also mean that the merging of the two Shiro’s in Voltron was the equivalent of Steven and Pink Steven fusing back together: Two halves of a single individual being made whole again, rather than one character being sacrificed for another.

But if the lore indicates that this is one Shiro with two bodies rather than two separate characters, why does Shiro treat his clone self like a separate person?

In one of my older essays, I pointed out how the visuals of Season 6 frame Haggar reclaiming her identity as Honerva in S6E01 as a parallel to Shiro and “Kuron” being merged in S6E07

Once Honerva goes through her “merging of two selves”, she tries to distance herself from her actions as Haggar, acting like the things she did to Lotor and others were done by someone else.

And her reason for doing that is obvious: she doesn’t want to face the fact that she hurt and abused her own son.

So following the parallels between, Shiro treating his actions in Seasons 3-6 like they were committed by a separate person logically reflects a similar level of denial. 

Like Honerva, he doesn’t want to face the fact that he’s capable of doing the things he did as “Kuron”.

Because Shiro in Seasons 3-6 is not as patient or compassionate with his team. He’s less considerate of others, and focused on his own priorities above everyone else’s.

And Season 6, he physically attacks and in at least one case injures the people he cares about.

Thanks to WEP’s meddling with Seasons 7-8, the payoff where Shiro recognizes and makes peace with that part of himself got left on the cutting room floor.

But the parallels with Haggar helps to at least make it clear what the writers were going for and what the point of this whole storyline was.

I’ve seen multiple people over the years note that Honerva’s transformation into Haggar, particularly the state we saw her in immediately post-Rift and shortly after Lotor’s birth in S5E02 and S8E02, can be read as a metaphor for Post-Partum Depression or something similar.

If you use their status as parallels to apply a similar logic toward the existence of “Kuron,” then the entire clone subplot can be seen as a fantasy representation of how Shiro is affected by his PTSD.

He goes through a traumatic experience and comes out mostly the same as he was before, but slightly off enough that he doesn’t feel right.

He initially hides his struggles and tries to pretend that everything is fine, downplaying what he’s going through. But eventually the strain starts to become too much and he tries to reach out for help, as we saw him attempt with Lance in Season 5.

But as we saw, he was brushed aside and his concerns were not taken seriously.

Without support, Shiro eventually reaches his breaking point, culminating in a fight with Keith in The Black Paladins, where - in contrast with his silent and stoic demeanor when carrying out Haggar’s orders - he repeatedly taunts and antagonizes Keith as if he’s trying to goad Keith into killing him.

But Keith refuses to leave Shiro or let him die, and makes it clear in S7E01 A Little Adventure that he will never give up on him.

By refusing to let go in S6E05, Keith demonstrates that he will always support Shiro unconditionally, no matter what. This allows Shiro to finally begin to heal and come back to himself.

He’ll never be the same as he was before, but all the pieces of himself are finally whole again.

As I’ve outlined in older essays, the main theme of Shiro’s character arc is learning to accept that you don’t have to deal with your problems alone, and that needing support from others does not make you weak.

So when viewed in that context, the entire Operation Kuron subplot serves as a demonstration of what happens when Shiro doesn’t get that help and keeps on trying to deal with his problems alone.

TL;DR: While I understand how the idea became so widely accepted, the concept of “Kuron” as a separate character from Shiro is a fan headcanon that isn’t supported by the show’s lore. Instead, the themes and patterns of the narrative indicate that the “clone” is literally Shiro’s soul in a duplicate body, and the whole Operation Kuron subplot is intended to represent the consequences of his reluctance to let others help him manage his PTSD.

When Algee got inside the house he shared with his girlfriend, he looked around the first floor for her then headed upstairs. He found her in their bedroom sitting in the middle of their bed Indian style with a pillow in her lap

"Your man is here, baby," he said with a smile pulling his hoodie from over his head. He kicked off his shoes then sat on the bed in front of her. "You said you needed me? Tell me what you need. I'm all ears."

Sighing, Summer reached for the store bag that was on her pillow behind her then passed it to Algee. "That's why I needed you. Didn't wanna be alone."

"Let's see what we got here." Algee opened the bag then dumped the contents out and looked at his girlfriend. "Baby, hold your head up and look at me."

Slowly, she looked up and over at him biting her lip to keep from crying. He gave her a reassuring smile before leaning in to kiss her head then her lips.

"First, I'm happy you asked me to be with you. Second, cry if you need to but don't cry because you think I'm upset or don't want this ... neither of those are true. And third, whether we're pregnant or not I love you. Aight?"

Summer nodded wiping the tears that fell. "Okay, Gee. I'm scared. What am I gonna do about school? I'm in the middle of my residency. And my parents," she cried.

"Hey, hey, hey," he called out pulling her into his chest, "No need of working yourself up about this when we don't even know for sure yet. Let's just take the tests and go from there."

After she cried another half hour Algee was able to get her into the bathroom. He helped her wash her face then stepped out so she could take them. Upon her request, he left it cracked and waited right by the door.

"Gee?" She called out.

"I'm right here. I didn't go anywhere."

"Oh okay," she sighed in relief, "Thank you."

"Don't gotta thank me, baby. Can I ask you something?"

Summer paused for a second to grab the second test. "Yeah. What's up?"

"What made you think that you might be pregnant?"

"Uuuuuh," she paused to sit the test back on the counter, "I'm almost a month late, fatigue and when I tried to eat my eggs this morning my stomach turned."

"Oh yeah, that makes sense." He shrugged. "Is it wrong to be excited?"

Summer laughed softly doing the third test, "No, it's not wrong. I'm actually glad you are, I was worried that you wouldn't be."

"Why?"

"Cause we've only been back together for like almost six months and our careers. Thought you would think it was the wrong time."

Algee waited for her to flush and wash her hands before going in the bathroom. He stood behind her at the sink wrapping his arms around her and smiled at her through the mirror. She smiled back leaning her weight against him.

"I don't care about none of that. We gon be together forever so six months don't matter and our careers will still be there regardless. I promise."

"Okay ... I believe you, Gee," she said softly then leaned up to kiss his cheek. "I think you'd make a great daddy."

"And you, Ella," he paused to kiss her neck, "Would make a great mommy. In five minutes, we'll know if we'll be parents now or in the future. You ready?"

She shrugged still smiling at him through the mirror. "I'm so nervous but I'm ready."

He nodded rocking them slightly and sung softly to her.

"I hate to break up the moment but you know what I thought about."

"What, Ella?"

"Whether we're pregnant or not, you gotta sit down with your mom and clear it up. You don't have to have a relationship but have a talk and get your feelings out like I did with my mom." She explained watching his reaction. "I don't want to bring a baby into that. I want you to be healed completely so that you can be the amazing dad I know you can be. Aaaand....your dad too. My baby don't need a hoe for a grandpa."

Algee chuckled and kissed the side of her face. "You can tell him that part, he's proud of it but you're right. It ain't from lack of trying on my part but I'll figure it out. I promise I will."

"I can see him now taking my baby to pick up women. Uhn uhn," she laughed.

"And you know he would. Damn, he would be proud too," Algee laughed. "I can't wait to marry you one day."

Summer poked her lip out. "Gee, you know you don't have to marry me just because I may or may not be pregnant. It's okay."

"Oh nah," he shook his head, "I always wanted to marry you. This just made me think about it again. You gon be Mrs. Smith one day."

"Dr. Smith," she corrected playfully.

Algee laughed, "My bad excuse me ... Dr. Smith. Let me put some respect on it."

She laughed. "That's right, you better. I worked hard for that title."

When Algee started to talk the alarm on her phone went off and they fell into silence. He kissed her cheek before releasing her from his hold so she could turn it off. The couple stared at each other.

"Well," Algee chuckled, "You gonna look?"

Summer shook her head playing with her fingers. "Uhn uhn, you look. I can't...I can't do it."

Nodding, Algee went to turn them over stopping when he heard his girlfriend squeal. He laughed and looked over at her.

"Baby, what? You wanted me to look... I'm looking."

"Don't you wanna talk some more?"

"No," he said reaching again, "We can talk afterwards."

Summer shifted her weight from foot to foot. "But ... okay. Okay... go ahead."

Before she could change her mind again Algee flipped the three tests that sat on the counter right side up. He stared at each one so he didn't make any mistakes then looked over at his girlfriend with an unreadable expression making her even more antsy.

"Come on ... come on," she panicked a little laughing nervously, "What does it say?"

"You really wanna know?" He asked keeping the same expression.

Thank you! I'm gonna do this for my other vampire blorbo from my brain, Callias.

I've said this before, but he started off as a "what if I took nsb!Caleb's personality and backstory and everything and pasted it onto a new character so that I can be more comfortable coming up with headcanons for him because he’ll be completely mine" experiment. Few days in and he's actually starting to differ from my nsb!Caleb a lot. So, not everything I say about Callias is applicable to nsb!Caleb, but I'm not gonna pinpoint that what's the same and what's different. Just treat them as two very similar but separate characters who have the same role in different universes. IT MAKES SENSE (TO ME) I SWEAR. I’m just really bad at explaining, but trust me, I know what I’m doing 😅

His full name is Callias Luna Benoni Astor. He chose all these names himself and he will bite you if you say he's being a pretentious little shit 😤 (shhh, yes he is a little pretentious, but don't tell him I said that)

He was born in late 1700s, then he was turned into a vampire in early 1800s, probably 1810s, I haven't really decided on the exact years yet...and then just around when the 20th century was beginning, he said goodbye to his old identity that wasn't serving him anymore and became Callias...if you know what I mean. Boy's trans but it took him about a century to figure it out. (different times, so. And anyway there's nothing wrong with figuring it out later in life. It's never too late.)

He has two siblings, an older sister Magdalene who is also a vampire (they actually got turned together; Magdalene wanted to be turned, Callias had no choice but that's a story for another time), and an older brother...who's dead. He was a human. Who lived a normal human life. Okay and he spent his entire human life wondering what happened to his younger siblings. Aaaand he doesn't have a name yet. Listen, I've only had Callias for like three or four weeks, I can't have everything fully figured out yet 😂

He's got a huge collection of jewelry, he especially loves gold. He may have stolen some from his sister...and not just his sister, to be fair 😅 He likes pretty shiny things, okay. Not that stealing is okay but. Yeah.

Bonus fact because I can't stop talking: Callias would say there are exactly three people in his life whom he was desperately, deeply in love with (everyone else was great but they never had such a grip on his soul, if that makes sense)...little does he know those three people were technically just one person. I love me some tragic soulmates who find each other again and again across time and space. One died trying to warn Callias and protect him from a vampire hunter, one could've been with him forever (it would’ve been so easy) but Callias made the wrong decision and she died shortly afterwards (not related to him leaving her), and one...well we know how that went 🤭👀☀ tragic soulmates, man. Can you believe I nearly convinced myself at one point that I wasn’t into the idea of tragic soulmates

gUESS :’D the love of my life the best boy the light in this world lmao. i love him so much there are no words for it. i love how he’s always willing to help, how he puts everyone else before himself, he’s such a good nugget. i love the dumb jokes oh my god his sense of humor is great. i also feel so bad for him ansdjgkn boy’s had such a hard life :( he deserves all the love and rainbows and puppies.

Life updates:

I got bored and nihilistic at some point during the week. Hit up an old chat room from 2013 I abandoned. Lo and behold, everyone else was doing the same. Its fucking surreal, learning that the buddies who were out here just being edgy, depressed, and overly kawaii are 1) in college, 2) working jobs, and 3) still have not changed at all, but with a few extra years of memes and mild maturity tossed in there. It's been hysterical seeing everyone again. I swear to god, I woke up genuinely happy for the first time in months, maybe even years. Sat up straight and bed and everything. Good feeling.

Then my mom very quickly brought back the suicidal thoughts that I specifically wanted to avoid, thus resulting in me ignoring her, because I do not like being around sloppy ass bitches.

Might also cut off a few other people in life. Since yes, Alphonse, or whatever his fucking name is, I noticed you saw me openly suicidal and chugging that wine and in extreme hysterics while doing absolutely nothing. I don't think too many people saw my story around that point in time, so I don't remember all of them. But those who saw, are actually close to me and of age, and just openly chose not to? Can go fuck themselves. Suck my cock, Alphonse, Zoey, and whoever else. (Did Audrey see? I don't think she saw the full thing. Idk. But I still like her, so, shes not getting swore at on a blog I suppose.)

This is such a good band. I found them right before my Junior Year of high school. (I recall jamming to their music in the bathroom as I did my hair, makeup, and outfit extra nice, just to be ignored by everyone anyways. Coolness! If someone were to tell 12 year old me, "Hey, that annoying 11 year old that has too many accounts online and always weirded you out is going to go through a huge identity change six years from now and also want to fuck you IF you were chubby?", I'd believe they were having a stroke..... But nope, its true. I'm pretty happy for them honestly, I think they're nonbinary but they slayed their makeup and HRT, so, they're serving mad looks. Very cool. Aaaaaand as for the whole second half of that sentence............. Unfortunately, I have a lot of anxiety around answering correspondence of any kind, and that includes reviews/comments, so I don't always get to everything.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending? Hands down, it's a perfect soldier. One of my all-time favorite comments was left on the penultimate chapter of that fic (the final chapter is more of an epilogue), precisely because the ending is so angsty.

However, please keep in mind that there's a sequel to that story that gives Steve and Bucky their Happily Ever After, because that's how I roll lol

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA yes. yes I have. *drinks*

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind? Yes, this is a very pro-smut household! I most enjoy (both reading and writing) smut that is 25% about the sex and 75% about whatever the characters are going through emotionally. Like, you thought you were here for a hot student/professor AU, but instead of the office sex you expected, you get to read about your faves banging out their existential crises together. Congrats!

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Sure have! Some motherfucker plagiarized In Times of Peace on Wattpad.
