Director: For dinner, I'm planning to make a curry using lots of summer vegetables to prevent summer fatigue.

Director: By the way, was there something you needed?

Azami: I'm gonna be going to my parents house tomorrow to pick bamboo, so I thought I'd let you know.

Director: Ah, that bamboo you mentioned before? But tomorrow seems pretty sudden.

Azami: I told them it was okay since we weren't in a hurry, but my dad keeps nagging me to come and pick it quickly because it'll be Tanabata by then.

Director: (I'm sure the Chairman really wants to see Azami-kun.)

Director: Everyone will be happy and grateful to have bamboo again this year. Please go and collect it.

Azami: Got it.

Chairman: So you've finally come to pick bamboo.

Azami: I've already told you I didn't need it yet......

Azami: Hah!? I said I'm fine! I don't want to write it!

Young Yakuza Member A: Hahaa, well, I guess I have a complex about my handwriting.

Young Yakuza Member B: Mhm, it's cool, but it's round like a girls, so you probably don't want all of us seeing it right?

Azami: That's not what I'm talking about!

Sakyo’s mother: Sakyo, would you like some more?

Sakyo: Thank you, but I’ve had enough.

Miyako: Father, have some water—.

Sakyo’s stepfather: Thank you.

Sakyo’s mother: Has the practice for Autumn Troupe’s next performance already started?

Sakyo: Yes. I’m the co-lead this time.

Miyako: Heh! What kind of story?

Sakyo: It’s marriage fraud.

Miyako: Marriage fraud!? Not an ordinary marriage?

Sakyo: That’s because our lead Bon is not good at love stories. The theme is decided as a result of eliminating any romance elements as much as possible.

Sakyo’s mother: Azami-kun is growing year by year, isn’t he. He is mature and doesn’t look much younger than Miyako now.

Sakyo: He still acts against me childishly just like a middle schooler though.

Miyako: Azami-kun?

Sakyo’s mother: Izumida Azami-kun is a member from the same Autumn Troupe as Sakyo. He is one year younger than Miyako. He has known Sakyo since he was a kid, even before he joined the theater troupe.

Sakyo’s stepfather: Is that so.

Miyako: If onii-chan is the co-lead in the upcoming performance, let’s all go watch it together. Right, father?

Sakyo’s stepfather: That sounds good. I’ll go to support you.

Sakyo: I’ll get you the tickets then.

Sakyo’s stepfather: Thank you.

Sakyo’s mother: You said this time’s theme would be marriage, right. Will any member of the Autumn Troupe play the bride role?

Sakyo: Nanao will.

Sakyo’s mother: It seems to look good on him.

Miyako: Speaking of which, what was your wedding ceremony like, step-mother? Did you wear a wedding dress?

Sakyo’s mother: At that time I didn’t have much money, so I didn’t have a proper wedding at all. When I was with your father, since we both reached our old age, we didn’t even have a discussion about it.

Azami: I can’t eat that much more just right after dinner. 

Chairman: By the way, Sakoda. Has your friend’s wedding gone well?

Sakoda: Yes! It was such a grand wedding ceremony and it was very touching! The sunset glowing through the stained glass during the wedding kiss was really beautiful! 

Azami: —!!

Ginsenkai member A: Bon, you don’t have to be so red in your face and ears!

Sakoda: Azami, it’s not something strange~!

Chairman: You really don’t change.

Azami: That’s odd of a wedding to do such a shameless thing in front of lots of people.

Ichiro: Well there sure are differences in culture and customs. People seem to hug instead of kissing these days. 

Azami: Only that is shameless enough.

Chairman: Speaking of wedding ceremony, Sayuri wore a really beautiful all-white kimono before.

Azami: (An all-white kimono…) (**)

*Flashback*

Azami: Is this enough, mom?

Sayuri: Right, thank you. 

Azami: I’ll place the brush here!

Sayuri: Azami can also do the tidy-up well. You’re really helpful.

Azami: Ehehe. 

Eh? Mom’s face in this picture is so white!

Sayuri: Fufu. It was especially made because I wore an all-white kimono at the wedding ceremony. It’s the bride’s makeup.

Azami: Didn’t you wear the wedding dress?

Sayuri: There were more brides wearing the all-white kimonos a long time ago. Actually, Mom wanted to wear a dress too. 

But your father doesn’t look good in tuxedo, so he said he never wanted to wear it. That’s why I wore an all-white kimono to match his hakama. (***)

Azami: You can wear a dress when you feel better! I’ll put on the makeup for you, and I’ll wear a tuxedo standing next to you too!

Sayuri: Hm, Azami will? Fufu, I’m glad. But I wonder if I still look good in a dress…

(After hearing that, I used to draw a picture while imagining her wearing a dress with the makeup on…)
